DRIVING the New Nissan LEAF e+ 2019 - I Want One! 😀 #AD _ The Tech Chap

I drive a pretty old car, a free small traditional combustion engine car like most of us do. But for me personally I'm definitely gonna look for either a hybrid or a fully electric car for my next upgrade. The trouble is, lot of them are really really expensive so having a more affordable EV like the Leaf you know it's not the fanciest car in the world it's not gonna do 0-60 in three seconds but I also don't want that I don't want to lose my license going too fast but I want something that's gonna get me from point A to point B that's practical it's a full attack there's everything I need but also most importantly that I can actually afford. But I think it's time we actually talk this thing for a spin, how's it feel to drive as an experience overall this is really nice I guess with being an electric car you get instant torque yes so even though you're not getting in 0-60 in three hundred and forty Newton meters okay on tap doesn't mean a lot to me about around the same as a 1.8 liter turbo can a petrol or diesel engine okay same kind of old but all which they're ready to go they can go down the straight go full power full power this is so much fun I didn't think the Nissan Leaf was gonna be fun be surprised as well an electric family car can't that they stick nicely but as well as being loads of fun to drive the leaf has a bunch of cool features well my favorite features though is this the e pedal you can control the acceleration and the braking from the one pedal lift up your foot it slows down and through the regenerative braking and sort of brings some of the charge back but also breaks for you and also as you put your foot down obviously you go faster so once you get used to it it takes a few minutes but then you really cancel finesse driving the car and it is a really cool experience doing everything through the one pedal there's a partial digital dash behind the wheel and in the center console we get an 8 inch touch screen with navigation battery and range information plus a handy 360-degree camera it also supports Android auto and apple carplay if you prefer to hook up your phone. The leaf also comes with a range of Nissan's pro pilot features including automatic Lane Assist adaptive cruise control and even Park Assist that will automatically find a space and park the car for you. That was so much fun, so that's my time up with the Leaf on the track and while it was a whole other fun to drive there's a lot more to think about when buying an electric car than just its not 260 or how well it drives so this is the Nissan booth here fully charged it's pretty busy at the moment hasn't tech youtuber it's obviously the technology that's more interesting to me not just the electric car itself and the infotainment but also the eco system so this won't have thought about the big question swing that goes on a lot of people's minds where does the electricity come from that you're charging your electric car with if it's from a coal factory that's no good so you can get solar panels on the roof which things stores energy in this egg storage unit which is like a big battery a big capacitor so you can charge your car from your own renewable energy whenever you want which is pretty cool. So I'm back from fully charged and it's so crazy because I think a few years ago I wouldn't have even considered buying an electric car but now it's seeing so many thousands of people there's so many big brands like this on actually offering genuinely good electric cars that are relatively affordable it's completely changed my mind so I'm always talking about upgrading my phone and my laptop I'm a computer but I think now when it comes to cars a fully electric I would definitely be my next upgrade so I'm not saying you should just rush out and buy an electric car everyone situations can be a little bit different but I'd love to know what you make of the Leaf and also electric cars let me know what you think in the comments below

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enI'm driving responsibly it's a closed course hey guys I'm Thanh the tech job here in a very windy Silverstone racetrack it's the home of British Motor Racing which is pretty exciting by itself but I'm here to test out one of these have a bit of a play with a new Nissan Leaf and this time very kindly invited me to fully charge 2019 this event is all about electric cars saving the environment cool tech is a lot of fun as like 10,000 people here this weekend so a big THANK YOU to this town for bringing me out sponsoring this video and also letting me have a play with a brand new Nissan Leaf longer-range version the E Plus which can do a nearly 240 miles which I'm gonna be able to take on the test track here at Silverstone so let's get into it so right now I Drive a pretty old free small traditional combustion engine car like most of us do but for me personally I'm definitely gonna look for either a hybrid or a fully electric car for my next upgrade but the trouble is a lot of them are really really expensive so having a more affordable evie like the leaf you know it's not the fanciest car in the world it's not gonna do naught to 60 in three seconds but I also don't want that I don't want to lose my license going too fast but I want something that's gonna get me from point A to point B that's practical it's a full attack there's everything I need but also most importantly that I can actually afford but I think it's time we actually talk this thing for a spin this business how's it feel to drive as an experience overall this is really nice I guess with being an electric car you get instant torque yes so even though you're not getting in or sixteenth down over two seconds it's still it's there to this in the sixty two three hundred and forty Newton meters okay on tap doesn't mean a lot to me about around the same as a a 1.8 liter turbo can a petrol or diesel engine okay same kind of old but all which they're ready to go they can go down the straight go full power full power this is so much fun I didn't think the Nissan Leaf was gonna be fun be surprised as well an electric family can't that they stick nicely but as well as being loads of fun to drive the leaf has a bunch of cool features well my favorite features though is this the e pedal you can control the acceleration and the braking from the one pedal lift up your foot it slows down and through the regenerative braking and sort of brings some of the charge back but also breaks for you and also as you put your foot down obviously you go faster so once you get used to it it takes a few minutes but then you really cancel finesse driving the car and it is a really cool experience doing everything through the one pedal there's a partial digital dash behind the wheel and in the center console we get an 8 inch touch screen with navigation battery and range information plus a handy 360-degree camera it also supports Android auto and apple carplay if you prefer to hook up your phone the leaf also comes with a range of Nissan's pro pilot features including automatic Lane Assist adaptive cruise control and even Park Assist that will automatically find a space and park the car for you that was so much father so that's my time up with the leaf on the track and while it was a whole other fun to drive there's a lot more to think about when buying an electric car than just it's not 260 or how well it drives so this is the Nissan booth here a fully charged it's pretty busy at the moment hasn't tech youtuber it's obviously the technology that's more interesting to me not just the electric car itself and the infotainment but also the eco system so this won't have thought about the big question swing that goes on a lot of people's minds where does the electricity come from that you're charging your electric car with if it's from a coal factory that's no good so you can get solar panels on the roof which things stores energy in this egg storage unit which is like a big battery a big capacitor so you can charge your car from your own renewable energy whenever you want which is pretty cool so I'm back from fully charged and it's so crazy because I
