The Future of Geek Channel: A New Direction

We're still going to do some kind of goofy videos like we're going to do like we used to which were a lot more popular just like Quick One videos on certain games where we just hey let's check this game out and have fun with it and edit up some clips and have like a 3 to four minute video on a specific game and have fun with it and then my game reviews may or may not stick around just as I have time to do them CU you know I don't review new games that often so it's it's not like they're timely anyway um and then it's mainly going to be my tech and things like that content I may expand a little bit beyond Tech but that's kind of my main focus at the moment that's what I've been working towards and so that's what I'm really going to push hard is getting that highle Tech content and yes you're going to see some of those like post intro ads and things like that but they're like 10 seconds you can deal with them um and I think that's the right direction that I want to go at the moment I I got to find different ways to put my own spin on things but I really think it's going to work and it's should be pretty good cuz we've got a big enough like base now to really make this channel happen but I also have to realize that that base comes a lot from my reviews which are actually doing really well now in my tutorials and so continuing to post long form gaming content that people aren't specifically coming to this channel for is actually hurting us in the long run and so that's why I think it's going to be better to have it on its own dedicated thing because this channel like I said is e+ Fox it was never a dedicated e+ 2 Channel and having such split up content hurts the channel in the long run so having a dedicated channel for it should be better and should allow us freedom to literally just post whatever the hell we want.

A New Direction for Geek Channel

I'm planning to dedicate my channel more towards tech-related content, which has been my main focus lately. I'll continue to do some gaming content, but not as much long-form content that people aren't specifically coming to this channel for. This change will allow me to focus on high-quality tech-related content and potentially attract a new audience interested in technology. My original branding was done by a professional designer, but unfortunately, we're no longer able to work together due to various reasons. I'm now looking for a new graphic designer who can create a fresh brand identity for my channel, focusing more on the tech side of things.

Moving Forward with the Channel

My secondary channel, OS andu Let's Play Together, will also be rebranded to focus more on its Pokemon theme. Since we don't currently play Pokémon, I'd like to see new branding that doesn't distract from the channel's actual content. The idea is to have a dedicated brand identity for each of my channels, allowing me to experiment with different styles and formats without affecting the overall quality of the content.

A Big Announcement

I'm excited to announce that we'll be starting a 365-day Vlog Channel Challenge on our Vlog Channel! This project will take us through most of 2015, where we'll have to upload a new video every single day. We're looking forward to this challenge and believe it has the potential to be a lot of fun. While we won't always be able to spend every single day together due to our schedules, I want to ensure that both Che and I are featured in the videos as much as possible.

The Challenge

The Vlog Channel has been a US channel for some time now, and it's always featured my face. With this new challenge, we'll have the opportunity to showcase more of us, including Che's appearances. We're excited to see where this project takes us and how we can make it work with our busy schedules.

um but it I don't normally post vloggy SL Channel updates on the main Channel anymore but I am posting this one here now yes behind me my room is a disaster it's Christmas weekend when I'm recording this and so you'll have to forgive me I'm working on cleaning that up later today and I got this amazing Iron Man jacket from chew for Christmas and it is amazing anyway I just wanted to update you all on what's going on with us in the channel moving forward for 2015 I've talked it over with chu and she seems to support the idea or doesn't hate it I guess um we're going to making some changes to how the channels work to try and really push things out in 2015 2014 has been an amazing year we've literally doubled our Channel which I just found out recently we've literally doubled our Channel this year well sometime in January I took some screenshots of our Channel and we had a little over 7,000 subscribers and had had and had just hit 1 million views now we're almost about to hit 4 14,000 subscribers and we're way over 1 million views but as that time has progressed the channel which is my fault if there's a fault but this is what I want to do as a business as a entrepreneur as a person um the channel has focused more on Tech on professional level like Tech content and gaming reviews things like that and less on just goofy Co-op gaming videos now I felt kind of bad for this because I don't want to just like push chew out of the channel and that's not what I want to do and she's going to stay on it to some degree for a while um but we're going to start getting rid of the long form gaming content we're going to make a second because I mean this channel in the first place is slos Fox that is URL so is the epos Fox channel and so if I ever wanted to just put all my stuff on a second Channel I wouldn't have eil Fox to do that with and so we're going to start move well we're going to start uh to transition we're going to start putting the long form epos into you know Co-op stuff like fight the dragon and things like that uh we're going to make a new channel that's going to be just a dedicated epos and let's play together Channel and I may just call it let's play together or just EOS and cheu I'm not sure yet and we're going to just make that the co-op gaming channel and for a little bit it's just going to be a transitionary everything and so it will just be us posting videos and interacting but once things get settled on the main Channel then I'm going to focus on growing it and marketing it so I can so we can get some more attention there and then maybe move everything youst into onto that channel once it's big enough um so I'm going to post a link uh I'll hopefully already have that channel made by the time you watch this and I'll post a link in the
