GTA 5 Next Gen - The Biggest PS4 Game To Date! Required HDD Space Confirmed.

What is Going On: A Look at the Upcoming GTA 5 Release

Ladies and gentlemen, my name is simply Pops, and I'm excited to share some news with you all today. Rockstar has confirmed that GTA 5 will be acquiring a massive 50 GB of space, making it the biggest PS4 game to date. If we look back at The Last of Us on the PS4, which took over 40 GB, Call of Duty: Ghost, which stood at an impressive 49 GB, and Wolfenstein, which clocked in at 45 GB, it's clear that GTA 5 is taking the lead. This massive increase from the original PS3 version of GTA V, which only took up 18 GB, is a significant jump.

The size of the game is due to Rockstar's efforts to dump the entire content of the 50 GB Blu-ray disc into a hard drive. This move will not only help with loading times but also improve the overall gaming experience. I'm willing to give Rockstar a pass on this one, as it's clear that they're committed to providing an exceptional gaming experience for their fans.

It's worth noting that when the PS3 was first launched, it came with either 20 GB or 40 GB of space. While this may seem like a lot now, it's staggering to think about how much has changed since then. The amount of content we can download and store on our devices has increased exponentially, making it difficult to comprehend just how much space was considered "a lot" back in the day.

GTA 5 will be released on both PS4 and Xbox One, with exact details still unknown for the Xbox One version. However, fans can rest assured that the game will be available on next-gen consoles on November 18th. The PC version is scheduled to release on January 27th, marking another exciting milestone in the game's development.

One minor note I did notice was when they mentioned "the last Call of Duty game." It seems that they forgot to mention the actual title - Ghost. Perhaps it's just a minor slip-up, but I thought it was worth mentioning nonetheless.
