iOS 18 and WWDC Predictions + Rumors!

**The Eager Anticipation of WWDC**

Hardware announcements are not too likely at this time, and we are waiting on some refreshes for some new Macs, so it is inevitable that the Mac Pro will get a refresh. We discussed this last year when it seemed like Apple was going to introduce a new Mac Pro, perhaps in the form of a smaller-scale down version of the "Cheese Grater". While nothing has been officially announced, we still hold out hope for a future update.

A tiny little cheese grater on wheels would be super cute, and who knows? Maybe that's exactly what Apple has in store for us. For now, though, it seems like we'll have to keep waiting. On the other hand, there are several outstanding updates that do seem imminent, including new Mac Studio models, Mac Mini, and Mac BR with M3 chips.

In addition to these hardware updates, there are also rumors of Apple Vision Pro getting some exciting new features. We've all had a chance to use the current version, which is incredible in its own right. While it's not something I use every day, it's definitely nice to have around for when I need it. Traveling has been one of my favorite times to break out the Apple Vision Pro - simply having a pair of VR glasses that transport me to another world makes the flight experience so much more enjoyable.

As the technology continues to advance, I'm eager to see what improvements will be made in the future. When the cost comes down and it's smaller and more comfortable, I think we can all look forward to enjoying Apple Vision Pro even more. For now, though, the main thing on everyone's minds is the vision of a potential AI takeover by companies that are already ahead of the curve.

**Spacial Computing and iOS 18**

One thing that's generating a lot of excitement among fans is the prospect of spacial computing. Being able to edit in a massive display right in front of my face, with all the tools and features at my fingertips - it sounds like science fiction, but I'm eager to see what Apple has in store for us. The idea of having everything around me feel real is still a bit hard to wrap my head around, but I have no doubt that Apple will make it happen.

iOS 18 is also on everyone's mind, with rumors suggesting that we'll be getting some major updates to the operating system. One feature that's generating a lot of buzz is the ability to recolor icons, which will allow us to customize the look and feel of our devices in ways we never thought possible. The fact that this is being built into some apps means that it won't just be limited to certain tasks - we'll be able to make these changes right across the board.

There's also talk of AI features coming to iOS 18, which will run on device rather than going to the cloud. This is a major win for security and privacy, as it means that all of our sensitive data stays right on our phone. Whether or not this is actually true remains to be seen, but if so, it's a huge step forward.

**Siri and Spotlight**

Another feature that's generating excitement is Siri's expanded capabilities. We'll be seeing more sophisticated AI-powered features, such as the ability to control individual features in apps like opening specific documents, moving notes between folders, or summarizing recent notifications. Even small tasks like these can make a big difference in our daily lives.

Finally, there's talk of a built-in Spotlight search feature that will include even more intelligent results with improved sorting. This is something I'm very excited about, as I basically use Spotlight to find everything on my phone all the time - whether it's an app I need or a document I've been looking for. The ability to make these changes right across the board is a major win.

**Conclusion**

WWDC is always a source of excitement and anticipation, and this year is no exception. With new Macs, updates to Apple Vision Pro, iOS 18, Siri, Spotlight, and many other features on the horizon, we can't wait to see what Apple has in store for us. If you have any thoughts or predictions about what's coming down the pipeline, be sure to leave them in the comments below - I'd love to hear from you!

California landmarks Apple has trademarked several California related names over the years and many of them have gone unused like Redwood grizzly seoa Mammoth I feel like Mammoth is going to be this year Apple could go with an on- trademark name though and it has done that in the past okay cool possible Hardware announcements not too likely we are waiting on some refreshes for some new Macs so I do think the Mac Pro at some point is going to get a refresh I think we talked about this last year cuz we kind of thought that last year wwc they were going to do a new Mac Pro like a small scale Apple Vision Pro I do feel like if you've used Vision Pro it is incredible do I use it every day now that I've had it for the last few months no I don't I don't really use it that often but I do still pop in from time to time just to check out the updates see what new things are on it I have used it a bunch during travel having this thing on the plane is so fun because it really does put you in your own little world I'm definitely excited for the future of Vision Pro especially when the cost comes down when it's a little bit smaller and it is more comfortable I still struggle to wear it for long periods of time but that's not just with Vision Pro that's with a lot of different headsets but for me Vision Pro has been one of the most comfortable and one of the most intuitive and easy to use and it is just so impressive like when you put this thing on and you're just transported into the VP world I freaking love it and I really can't wait for everyone to really get to experience spatial Computing being able to edit in like a massive display right in front of my face and just have everything around me it doesn't feel real it still just doesn't feel real but it is I am pretty excited to see what they do announce wwc for vision OS because I do have a feeling they've got some Secrets at their sleeve I hope at least so kind of diving more into iOS 18 cuz I feel like that's something that we're all pretty hyped about looks like we're going to be able to recolor icons this is built into some apps where you can choose different icons based on what they kind of have allowed for you to update so being able to kind of choose your own colors I think will be really fun they're saying that apple is racing to catch up to companies that do have an AI Head Start I don't really necessarily think that apple is lacking behind because if we all know Apple they've got the money they've got the resources and they've definitely been doing things and just not publicly talking about it or even calling it AI like everything that is happening in this phone it's pretty much artificial intelligence they're just not calling it that what it's cool though is it's saying that some of the initial AI features coming to iOS 18 will be run on device and this is important because a lot of these AI queries need to go to the cloud which some people will say yes it's a little not as safe so having things run on device will stay on your phone it's not going to the Cloud anywhere and it is happening locally and staying private so thankfully it's saying here that there will be a focus on security which yes fingers crossed this goes without saying but I guess in times like these you got to say it some Siri inapp expansion so Siri is going to be able to control individual features in the apps like open specific documents move a note from one folder to another move a file between folders delete an email summarize an article summarize recent notifications or messages email a web
