McLaren edition even though they waited till the end of the year last year this time it comes around the same time of the launch so let's quickly unbox of the McLaren Edition and see what's different think should have been 512 specifically for the McLaren Edition because this is going to be a slightly more expensive product the box that I have does not have a price in fact it says X X X X X dot 0 0 rupees so I'll leave the price and buying information in the description below of course it's gonna be sold on Amazon we are already aware of that there's also a little mention of a McLaren official product and there's a serial number which is really interesting which means that McLaren is sort of in this and will continually and regularly see McLaren edition phones so I'm going to slice through the packaging which is really nice packaging this year by one plus in general but the McLaren Edition just sort of opens up like that which is nice I'm going to flip it and right there we can see the carbon fiber finish it looks fantastic we've got the McLaren badge and the oneplus badge so we got the never settle logo here as well inside the little paper which is nice I'm going to place this to the side we've got the box here and now we have to sort of unbox it there we go more papaya orange inserts so this is probably the documentation the usual stuff there's an invitation letter which I'm assuming is from Pete let's open it up and see if it's any different from the ones that we've seen on the other boxes this one didn't open up so nicely it says friend oneplus and McLaren started their journeys to kneel down what they're trying to say is that when they started their journey they were sort of already below or already an underdog when they started their journey and they sort of come out from that so we leave the letter on the screen for you guys to check out some more usual documentation is a McLaren booklet here which basically gives you some basic information on the product which I will give you anyway so I'm going to place all of this to the side now this is where the exciting part starts we've got the McLaren in addition over here and I can already see some papaya orange accents coming through replace it to the side for the minute and we have a nice papaya orange charging cable this looks absolutely brilliant again this is braided a really high-quality cable in the McLaren Edition just like last year or place back to the side as well now we've got a McLaren branded Wow if I can get it out you've got a McLaren branded charger here which also has the papaya orange accents so that's really nice and if I can see the output it's warped charged 30 so it's not a lot different from what you get with the standard one plus 70 or the 70 Pro the warp charge was introduced with the first McLaren Edition that came last year so that's definitely an improvement over there so that's it that's basically the bear box but there is a little bit of a secret here you can pop open the bottom like that which is different from oneplus devices and then here is where they're really nice now they've got Alcantara this year which is absolutely brilliant we've actually got a new car which has Alcantara on the inside so we're going to be revealing that soon and we already teased it on Instagram as well as on YouTube stories but we have a car which has Alcantara on the roof and the headline and all of that so this Alcantara is really familiar we've got a nice McClaren embedded logo and a oneplus logo and of course lots of carbon fiber on the cover and on the inside you have a really nice honeycomb pattern along with the oneplus and McLaren logo really nice case absolutely brilliant brilliant add-on in the box for especially for McLaren fans this will be a great add-on let's take a look at the phone itself so it's time to reveal really nice smooth plastic really nice look you can see through the glass if I tilt it a little bit it sort of has a really nice pattern on in there it shows off sort of like a wood grain and it looks like electronics but it is more or less a wood grain it looks absolutely brilliant I'm going to remove this tag as well so you can see the wood grain which is something that you would usually get as an add-on in your McLaren so if you buy a mic line and you want your interior trim you can do it in this material over here it looks absolutely brilliant we've got again papaya oranges accents which is not visible throughout only if you put it in a certain way against the light does the papaya or enshrine the glass work on the back of this phone is sort of really mind-blowing this looks absolutely brilliant we've got again papaya orange accents on the camera which are not really visible directly when you look at it but if you just tilt it against the light a little bit it sort of pops open and initially I thought that this is dirty and why have they sent me a dirty phone inside the sealed box but the more you look at it the more the sort of pattern from the inside comes out we have a volume or a sort of notification slider over here which is a pretty standard one plus feature but this one is in you guessed it - papaya orange let's boot this up and see if they have a nice startup sound so that's it you have a really nice animation on the back which is sort of swooping papaya orange lights again lots of papaya orange for McLaren fans the whole theme has a black and papaya orange layout more or less everything is identical apart from the clarín aspect of it it's a limited edition phone the back panel is really interesting the front of course has the pop up camera mechanism that we've seen on the oneplus 7 pro as well and now the oneplus 70 pro as well and now on the mclaren version as well three cameras on the back as well as a laser module which is on the left for better focusing faster focusing that is on the oneplus 70 pro now that was a quick hands-on and of course we'll be doing a full
