**UTech Smart Hub: A Game-Changing Docking Station**
I'm excited to share with you my experience with the UTech Smart Hub, a device that has taken my laptop setup to the next level. As I opened up the box and pulled out the Hub, I was immediately impressed by its sleek design and feature-rich features. Inside, we found a compact Z-Hub that comes with everything needed to get started.
**Features Galore**
One of the things that stood out about this Hub is its comprehensive set of ports and features. We have two USB 3.0 ports on the side, perfect for connecting peripherals like flash drives or keyboards. On the opposite side, we have a single USB-C port capable of power delivery, which allows me to charge my laptop while also connecting other devices. The Hub also boasts an HDMI port, ideal for connecting external displays or projectors. Additionally, there's a USB 2.0 port and an Ethernet port on the bottom, offering flexibility and connectivity options.
**Power Delivery and Temperature Control**
One of the standout features of this Hub is its power delivery capabilities. With up to 100 watts of power delivery via the USBC cable, I can charge my laptop while also connecting other devices. This is particularly useful when working with laptops that have limited power ports, as this Hub essentially doubles as a power bank. Furthermore, the Hub features advanced temperature control and heat dissipation technology, similar to Apple's MacBook Airs, ensuring that it doesn't get too hot even during extended use.
**Setting Up and Using the Hub**
To test the Hub, I plugged in my laptop, UTech Smart Device, and external hard drive (an SSD enclosure). The setup was straightforward, and I quickly realized that this Hub is perfect for duplicating a dual-screen monitor setup. With the Hub connected to my laptop, I could easily extend my desktop to include both the laptop screen and an external display or projector. I also appreciated the option to use Ethernet for faster speeds when available.
**Conclusion**
The UTech Smart Hub has genuinely impressed me with its versatility, flexibility, and performance. Whether you're a professional or an avid user, this device is sure to become your new go-to docking station. With its compact design, temperature control technology, and range of ports and features, it's an excellent addition to any laptop setup. I'm excited to incorporate this Hub into my own workflow and explore all the possibilities it offers.
**Final Thoughts**

WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enwhat is up everybody this is Carl from technical goodies and today we are taking a look at a six in one USB hub this thing might as well be a full-fledged docking station the folks at utechsmart sent this over for me to share with you all so that you can see how it might work for you so let's go ahead and open this up so inside we've got a z Hub that's all that it comes with okay so that's pretty awesome so when it comes to having what I consider a hub is typically not something that it has all the features that this has so let's go through some of the features that this particular Hub has okay you have two USB 3.0 ports on the side on the side here you have a USB C Port capable of power delivery you have an HDMI port for an external display and another USB 2.0 Port the kicker is on the bottom here we have an ethernet port okay so what that means this essentially becomes your bridge between your laptop computer a portable monitor you can plug in Ethernet for faster speeds depending on where you're at or don't use it at all use your Wi-Fi you have all the peripherals that you can plug in and USBC power delivery that allows you to charge your laptop while it's closed plugged into the Hub most of the laptops nowadays come with maybe just one USBC Port that also doubles as your power port so if you want to plug in extra peripherals you can't do it and charge at the same time so this allows you to do that so I'm going to go ahead and plug it into my laptop over here and we'll give it a try all right so now I have the UTech smart device hooked up to my laptop the laptop's kind of over here on the side I didn't want to have to bring it into the screen it's a little hard to see but I also have my portable monitor here so that we can try out now the thing about this portable monitor it does require some kind of power delivery so it has this extra cord I have a review of this portable monitor I'll put a link up above so it basically takes this HDMI so we'll plug the HDMI into the UTech smart device and it does require a power and now we will plug it into the monitor itself and there we go it's working so my thought was basically to take this Hub and set it up in such a way that I can sort of duplicate a dual screen monitor setup with this laptop I want to basically have my keyboard in front of me one screen down below and one screen up above and now I can do that with this Hub so I'm going to go ahead and plug in an external hard drive that I have and this is a USB 3.0 external enclosure it's not a hard drive it's an enclosure it has an SSD drive in it so that's all set up and ready to go and if I had an ethernet cable or an ethernet port in this room I'd go ahead and plug into ethernet I'd do that all day long to make sure I get the full speed of whatever I'm doing so yeah this little Hub again I'd almost call it a docking station and one of the most important things about this Hub is that a lot of times these get really hot with a lot of the information and the data and the power going through them this one has 100 watt power delivery coming out of that USBC cable but it also has temperature control into it it has the same temperature control heat dissipation that the Apple MacBook airs use so that way this thing isn't going to get blazing hot when it's sitting on your desk and you're pushing it to the full potential let me scroll down here too they have a bunch of different colors you can use so you can kind of see that on the screen here a splatter a pink a silver a blue a black a green so whatever you want to do to sort of match your setup but yeah I think we've got another winner in this little device I'm again I want to thank the folks at UTech smart for sending it over I love being able to share awesome stuff like this with you and awesome stuff that actually works great this is something I'm going to be incorporating into my setup and using for long term so if you want information about that Hub go ahead and click the link down below I'd appreciate it again this is Carl from techful goodies I'm just a tech guy sitting at my tech desk I always say it looking at
