As we take a closer look at the new Plantronics Voyager Edge Bluetooth headset, it's clear that this device is a unique and innovative addition to the world of wireless communication. With a price range of anywhere from ₹5500 to ₹5600, depending on where you're buying it from, this headset offers excellent value for money.
Available in two stylish colors - black and white - the Voyager Edge boasts a sleek and modern design that's sure to turn heads. The carrying cradle, which doubles as a charger and battery housing, is made of rubber and has a soft-grip texture to prevent it from slipping or moving around. This thoughtful design feature makes it easy to carry the headset around without worrying about it falling out.
Inside the box, you'll find the Bluetooth headset itself, along with the carrying cradle, micro-USB cable, car charger, and some documentation. The headset is a compact and lightweight device that's designed for comfort and ease of use. The carrying case has a strap that allows you to attach a lanyard, making it easy to wear on your wrist or around your neck.
One of the standout features of the Voyager Edge is its impressive Bluetooth range, which extends up to 33 feet. We found this to be remarkably accurate, and the device's low-energy Bluetooth technology ensures long battery life. With up to 6 hours of talk time and a full charge from the carrying case, you can enjoy uninterrupted calls all day long.
The headset itself is equipped with advanced noise-cancelling microphones that pick up your audio with crystal clarity. The two microphones work independently to ensure that every conversation sounds crisp and clear. The sound quality is exceptional, making it perfect for both personal and professional use.
Another notable feature of the Voyager Edge is its ergonomic design. When you put it on, you'll find that it's surprisingly comfortable and lightweight, thanks to the soft-gel technology used in its construction. The headset itself has a smooth finish and a stylish look that makes it easy to wear for extended periods.
In terms of connectivity, the Voyager Edge is a powerhouse. We connected up to five devices simultaneously without any issues, and the device recognized each one as either a phone or an audio device. The voice feedback system provides clear alerts whenever someone calls or sends you a message, making it easy to stay on top of your communications.
The headset also features a built-in voice assistant that helps you manage your conversations with ease. It recognizes which phone is ringing and tells you who's calling, making it a breeze to answer calls and respond to messages.
Overall, we're extremely impressed with the Plantronics Voyager Edge Bluetooth headset. With its impressive range, excellent sound quality, and ergonomic design, this device offers top-notch performance at an affordable price point. The carrying case is a thoughtful touch that adds convenience to your daily commute or work routine.
In terms of features, pricing, and overall value for money, we give the Voyager Edge a rating of 8.5 out of 10. While it may not be the cheapest Bluetooth headset on the market, its advanced noise-cancellation technology, ergonomic design, and impressive connectivity features make it well worth the investment. At around ₹5500, this headset is a fair price to pay for such exceptional performance.
If you're in the market for a reliable and high-quality Bluetooth headset, the Plantronics Voyager Edge is definitely worth considering. With its excellent sound quality, comfortable design, and advanced connectivity features, this device is sure to meet your needs and exceed your expectations.
"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhey what's happening guys this Fran in and today we're checking out the new Plantronics Voyager Edge Bluetooth headset now this device costs anywhere from 5500 to 5600 rupes depending on where you're buying it from and is available in two colors uh the black that you see over here is as well as the white now this is a fairly unique uh Bluetooth headset because uh not only is it a standalone Bluetooth headset but you can connect it to its dock uh to get additional battery from uh the device so it comes with this sort of carrying cradle and this cradle is also its charger and it's also a inbuilt battery housing that gives you some additional on thee-o battery now Inside the Box you will get uh the Bluetooth headset the charging and carrying cradle a micro us B cable along with a car charger some documentation and that's about it as far as looks are concerned this is a fairly nice looking headset the carrying cradle has a rubber grip around it so that it does not slip or move easily it gives it this nice leather is uh look it's actually fully rubber you do have a strap to connect a lanyard if you would so wish to and it charges via a standard micro USB cable now the range of the Bluetooth headset is about 33 ft and we found that to be more or less very accurate it does have Bluetooth 4.0 so you get the latest version of Bluetooth which is low energy Bluetooth you do get up to 6 hours of talk time and uh the carrying case does have a rechargeable battery that gives you a full charge more or less uh when you run out of battery on this guy so the great thing about this headset is that uh you can see that when I connect it to the Cradle you will get these lights uh that tell you that the Cradle has uh this amount of battery as well as the Bluetooth headset has this amount of battery battery so if it's charging the Bluetooth headset this battery will continue to move also this sort of area is touch sensitive so every time you tap it it'll give you that battery information but that's only when the headset is plugged in if you pull it out so it'll only give you the battery information for the charging case and not for the Bluetooth so when you plug it in when you plug in your Bluetooth it'll give you the battery information for the charging case as well as the Bluetooth itself the charging case is fairly uh nice looking like I said before you do have a micro USB port over here and this will help you connect it to a keychain or uh possibly to a hook that you can connect to a belt or something uh it's fairly nice you can it has a nice lay on the table design it does have some grip so it does not slip around on the table which is fantastic the Bluetooth headset is also quite uh nice to look at you can see it has a very very nice finish it is available in a black or white on the right you do have a bunch of controls on it and it also has a touch sensitive detection on it so every time time a phone rings and if the Bluetooth headset is lying on your table you just pick it up put it in your ear and it automatically answers the phone quality text that you put the headset in your ear you do have the power switch which is over here so it lights up and the blue light on the top lights up you can also directly charge the Bluetooth headset in case you forget to carry your case around and you do have your volume rockers over here this is the quick action key so if you were connected to an iPhone so this will sort of pull up voice dialing and that also works with Android so it'll turn on Google uh now a voice dialing so that's great you do have a bunch of uh noise cancelling microphones on it as well as uh two microphones independently to pick up your audio so uh overall really nice sound from the headset and it does do a lot of noise cancellation so uh the person on the other side gets really good audio uh the tips are replaceable so you get a bunch of tips over here so if these gel things run out you do have Replacements available but you can overall see the finish of the Bluetooth headset it does give you your value for money and if you do like using a Bluetooth headset uh this one will come in really handy because it has excellent audio and uh excellent looks as well and is overall really nice and well formed as far as build quality is concerned we rate the Plantronic Voyager Edge a good 8.5 out of 10 as far as uh sound and audio capabilities are concerned we give it a 9 on 10 for battery life again a fantastic 9 on 10 because of the inbuilt talk time of about 5 5 hours and a full charge that you get from the carrying case gives you a total of 10 hours of talk time which is fantastic and if you use your phone a lot this will help you get additional battery from uh the Bluetooth headset in terms of ergonomics and comfort when you put this on your ear you do not feel it on your ear it's fairly lightweight and the technology or this sort of gel that they use to put it onto your ear is really comfortable to use so no complaints with that either so in terms of ergonomics and uh Comfort again and we give it an 8.5 out of 10 Bluetooth connectivity is fantastic we connected up to five devices it does recognize them as phones or audio devices so it does uh sort of give you the voice feedback saying that the phone uh number is connected and also phone one or phone 2 is connected which is great so you can uh sort of set up your phones in that manner for example have two phones a main phone and a secondary phone and it will save them as phone one and phone two in the order that you cannect it with and uh it'll constantly tell you that uh which phone is ringing and who is calling so it does have a voice assistant within the headset that tells you that X person is calling you and it works really well so it not only will it give you audio feedback but it is also intuitive in recognizing what phone is calling so in terms of features and in terms of overall uh value for money uh we'd say it's uh again 8.5 out of 10 for pricing it is about 5,500 rupe so it's not the cheapest Bluetooth headset available but it's also not the most expensive and if you're looking for a great Bluetooth headset I think about 5 to 6,000 rupees should be a decent price to spend although Al though you can still get Bluetooth headsets for under 1,000 rupees but this one has excellent noise cancellation and ergonomics as well as looks and build quality as well as battery life so I think a 5,500 rupe price is fair or about $100 is fair for uh this Bluetooth headset so I think we'll give it another 8.5 out of 10 giving it an average of 8.5 to 9 out of 10 on uh the final review score which is absolutely fantastic for the Plantronics Voyager Edge if you have any questions or queries you
