I'm Down at Specialized Sales and Leasing in Salt Lake City
As I stand here at Specialized Sales and Leasing in Salt Lake City, I am so excited to be filming this video today. I'd like to thank guys for this opportunity to film these two incredible cars. Be sure to follow Specialized on Instagram, as they have an insane inventory of exotic cars that I just can't wait to share with you all.
The Perfect Compare Contrast Video
From a styling perspective, these two cars are nearly identical, but upon closer inspection, I see a lot of design cues from various exotic cars. The front end reminds me of the McLaren 650s, while the Nissan GTR and BMW i8 seem to have had a baby with this car. Of course, I also see a little Ford GT in there as well. This is my first time checking out an NSX, and I'm so excited to share it with you all.
As far as price range, these cars are direct competitors, with base MSRP prices ranging from $150,000 to $200,000. With options, they can be even more expensive, but that's not stopping me from taking them out for a spin. I'm going to take both the 2017 Acura NSX and the Audi R8 V10 for a test drive to see which one I like better.
My First Impressions of the Acura NSX
As I get behind the wheel of the Acura NSX, I'm immediately struck by its incredible sound. The engine is so smooth and powerful, it's like music to my ears. But what really impresses me is how well-balanced this car feels on the road. It's all-wheel drive system makes it perfect for driving in winter conditions, which is a must for living up here in Park City.
I'm also impressed by the NSX's hybrid powertrain, which provides excellent mileage and allows it to run in fully electric mode. The regenerative braking system and torque vectoring make this car feel like a dream to drive on twisty roads. And when I put it into quiet mode, it's like driving a silent ninja – the engine shuts off completely, and all you can hear is the sound of the wind rushing past.
My First Impressions of the Audi R8
As I get behind the wheel of the Audi R8, I'm surprised by how much I enjoy it. I was expecting to love it, but instead, I find myself falling in love with this car even more. The instant torque and power band make it feel like a completely different driving experience compared to the NSX.
But what really sets the R8 apart is its sound. It's like nothing I've ever heard before – pure, raw, and unapologetic. I was a bit skeptical at first, but now I'm convinced that this car is the better choice for me.
A Comparison of the Two Cars
So, which one do I prefer? Well, it's not as simple as just choosing one over the other. Both cars have their unique strengths and weaknesses, and it really depends on what you're looking for in a driving experience. The NSX has its incredible handling and hybrid powertrain, while the R8 offers unparalleled sound quality and performance.
Ultimately, it comes down to personal preference. If I had $200,000 to spend, I'm not sure if I would choose either of these cars. But that's what makes them so incredible – they're both worth every penny of their price tag.
Additional Cars on Display
As I take a closer look at the other cars on display, including the R8 GT, Pelli Edition Aventador, and AMG GT, I'm struck by how much attention to detail has gone into each one. From the copper orange R8 GT to the pelli edition of the Aventador, there's just something special about these cars that makes them stand out from the crowd.
And finally, as I take a look at the Veno Coupe and Roadster, I'm reminded of the importance of having a diverse collection of cars. Each one has its unique character and charm, and they all contribute to a sense of excitement and adventure that's hard to find elsewhere.
