First Modified 2020 Porsche 718 GT4! _ It Finally Sounds Good!

A Porsche Fan's Paradise: A Day with the GT2 RS and GT4 RS

As I stepped out of my Jeep, excitement filled the air as I prepared to take on two of the most iconic Porsches in their class: the GT2 RS and the GT4 RS. My friend had lent me his GT2 RS, which was a car that had been featured on my channel several months ago, and today we were going to do some modifications to make it truly special. The first modification we were going to tackle was one of the most important – manual control of the flaps on the exhaust.

We arrived at Sport Tech, the garage where all the magic would happen, and I couldn't wait to get started. My friend had told me that this was a must-do for any Porsche owner, and I was eager to see what all the fuss was about. The exhaust flaps were one of those things that you don't really think about until they're not working properly – in my case, they would close below 2,000 rpm, which was frustrating because I loved the sound of the car's engine. But today, we were going to change that.

The team at Sport Tech got to work, and I watched in amazement as they worked their magic. They explained to me how the flap control system worked – basically, it was a console with an override system that allowed us to split the cables and manually control the flaps. It was a simple yet genius solution, and I couldn't wait to see the results.

As we worked on the GT2 RS, my friend dropped off his own car for some modifications of his own – he had recently purchased a KTM Crossbow GT, which we would be putting through its paces later in the day. But first, let's focus on the car that was going to make my heart sing: the GT4 RS.

The GT4 RS was a car that I had always admired from afar, with its stunning design and incredible performance. And now, thanks to Sport Tech, it was starting to sound like one of the best cars on the road – something that I had been missing out on in my own GT2 RS. The exhaust flaps were now fully open, allowing the car's four-liter flat-six engine to roar at all times. It was a game-changer.

As we took the GT4 RS for a spin, I was blown away by its performance and sound. The exhaust flaps were now completely reversible, meaning that I could close them at any time, which was useful for those who didn't want the car to be too loud. But most of all, I loved the fact that the car was finally sounding like it should – like a Porsche GT car.

As we continued to drive, my friend pointed out that the KTM Crossbow GT was ready to go – and what an experience it was! The car was lightweight, with no power steering or ABS, which made it incredibly challenging to handle. But despite its quirks, I couldn't help but be charmed by the Crossbow's raw energy.

One of the modifications we had done to the Crossbow was a new wing that gave it an incredible sense of presence – similar to the GT4 RS's wing. It was like nothing I had ever seen before, and yet, somehow, it worked perfectly. The car felt more aggressive than ever, with its big wings sticking out from either side.

As we continued our day, I couldn't help but feel grateful for the opportunity to drive such incredible cars. From the GT2 RS's exhaust flaps to the GT4 RS's wing, every modification had been carefully thought-out and executed by the team at Sport Tech. It was clear that they were passionate about what they did, and it showed in every detail.

As we wrapped up our day, I couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction – not just because of the cars themselves, but also because I had learned something new. The world of Porsche modification is complex and fascinating, with countless options available to owners who want to customize their vehicles. And yet, despite all the choices, there's something special about a well-modified car that really speaks to the soul.

For me, driving these cars was not just about enjoying the thrill of speed; it was also about experiencing the raw emotion and connection that comes with owning a Porsche GT car. Whether it was the sound, the handling, or simply the sense of presence that each car gave me, every drive was an unforgettable experience that left me wanting more.

As I drove away from Sport Tech, feeling grateful for the day's adventures, I knew that I would be back soon – not just to modify my own cars, but also to explore the world of Porsche GTs. For now, though, I'm happy to enjoy some quiet time on the road, taking in the sights and sounds of these incredible machines.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enyes back in the hot seat today we have a look going on and I thought I bring you guys along with me because yeah it's gonna be jumping in and out of various cars if you are a Porsches and Porsche fan then you should like today's video because of course we're starting off today's video in my friends gt2 RS this is the car bombers litter was featured on my channel some months ago last year actually now on the groomers are pass which I know you would like so much it was actually one of my favorite videos and yeah today we are doing some portion modifications now I know this is quite frowned upon by many people doing modifications to Porsches you gotta be careful with it because there is many people very opinionated about what you should and should have changed on abortion but today we are doing the most important modification that anybody should do to their new Porsche there should be one of the first things that you do we're gonna do on this and on my GT for so I'm gonna drop this car off head back then pick up my GT for bring that to sport tech as well that's the garage that's gonna do the modifications today I'm walking to doing both cars is fit a button to manually control the flaps on the exhaust now especially on my GT for I love myself an 18 GT for more but yeah the only thing that is really really annoying me with the car is the flaps are just nearly always closed so below 2,000 rpm they're open and afterwards even with the exhaust button open they are just always closed they sometimes open when you push it but it's honestly driving me crazy and the same on this what I'm gonna do actually show you guys now before we get there it's going to stop a sec so you can all understand it a bit if you're not sure okay now stopped of course the exhaust is open that's closed right open nice nice sound very nice driving closed so before it even hits 2,000 rpm it's closed if I drop down it's no no no no still not sometimes you have to stop now it opens again sometimes you literally have to stop for them to open again they do however open later on so I'm going to try now see where it opens there so around three and a half they open again well my friend nearly spent around half a million on his gt2 RS he wants to get the full enjoyment from it and I've just gone the wrong way good start to the morning it's for Texas gave me a lift back home going into my underground garage to collect the gt4 then driving that to Spore Tech and then going to show you guys a bit what's going on in the workshop should be interesting go now back to sport egg-free my GT for running kilometres are done however this is such a short trip that's by the time I get there I don't even think the engine will be up to temperature I did tell you is gonna be a Porsche day and so far this is a pretty cool Porsche day when I jump out of the Jeep - into my GT for by no means - I feel like oh you know I don't feel like it's a huge difference of course the power and so but excitement wise and how I smile there's not a huge difference that you do is insane but this is special in its own way and especially for the manual gearbox straight away start smiling because of sport occur in the middle at the moment of doing the flap control system this is the console and that's basically the override system to the gt2 RS flaps so this is like the main system the controls the flaps and then basically you split the cables up instead of going together you split it up going up through their system and then back down looking forward to hear what it sounds like they're now working on the gt2 RS fitting everything I showed you and in its soon lunchtime and in Switzerland everyone goes to lunch exactly at 12 so why would they do that I'm gonna head home but I don't have a car however they've given me something to to go home in and I'm not quite sure about it it's a KTM crossbow GT I think never driven one know nothing about it yeah and it's around five degrees and there's no roof so and I need to find a hat I don't even know if I'm gonna fit in their wing though wing is crazy and it's completely legal like this in Switzerland which is quite a difficult thing it's got a four-cylinder engine it's with the new regulations including the OPF food - so is very quiet another car that's been totally castrated let's get in the only time I know while watched anything about this was when Jeremy Clarkson drove one when it first came out which was hilarious because I think what he's actually even taller than me I think anyway and then it didn't have a window this one at least has a window by a steering wheel I need a steering well okay there's only harnesses not no seat boats to start it up lift off so no power steering no ABS I keep looking for the rear mirror but there isn't one and even if there was she would at sea absolutely nothing quite a delay on the gear change I have to say downshifts okay but Guerra carpets idle and then it comes not the fastest of gearboxes yes hello schoolchildren school children loving the crossbow or they're just laughing at the really tool man driving it either way they're happy okay I can't remember what the power is I would tell you that later but because of the low weight okay yeah because I'm lying on the floor as my foods like I'm gonna probably double the speed that match to go you so before we get into the part of the video where I show you the sound my comics with the flaps permantly open you may see here I did do a second modification and that is my wing is sitting much higher now a company called Aris and V sent me a pair of wing rises and I think it looks super cool basically created a early version of the GT 4 RS I think it really looks in place here you can see the comparison so the new ones are actually three inches bigger so as it turns out three inches does make all the difference finally I have some noise and on the downshift as well with the auto blip on it was so silent before don't get me wrong it's not the loudest car now but compared to what it was before thanks to sport tech so basically what they've done is fully open the flaps I can still close them everything is also completely reversible I can put it back to normal and it really makes such such a difference really at this point they would be completely closed normally and it's still under the legal decibel limit so it's nothing crazy but now it gives me so much more enjoyment I don't know what Porsche are thinking when they basically perma needs the exhaust flaps after 2000 rpm they were just closed all the time it kind of ruined my driving experience in the car it is a Porsche GT car and it should have some noise you should be able to hear that four liter flat six which makes this car so at this point now 2,000 rpm they would always be closed but now I think it sounds fantastic this was the one problem that everyone complained about here for me I'm completely happy with how it sounds now now on the downshift yes now I'm loving this car hundred percent before it was only ninety five percent and I've got the bigger wing which I know is gonna get mixed reactions basically it's the same feeling as when I said in the gt3 RS now my wing is so high that I actually can't see it behind me I love it and then you look super cool it is ciao for now and I'm just gonna enjoy some nice back roads for the first time in which et for this Mountain passed out driven so far bring it on\n"
