Hey Guys So We Love Doing Outdoor Crafts
We're excited to share with you one of our favorite outdoor crafts that we think is truly unique and fun. Joining us today are two special guests, Olivia, Presley's good friend and long lost twin, who also happens to have matching hair. With their matching locks, they made the perfect pair for this craft. We're using a variety bouquet of flowers or those from our yard, which works great. Card stock and glue will be our trusty companions throughout this creative journey.
We printed out some inspiration for the girls, which you can find linked below in our next video. They jumped right into picking pink petals and creating these gorgeous pink skirts. We're not only making something beautiful here but also encouraging creativity and learning. Did you know that your kids have never opened up and examined a flower's inside before? This craft is an excellent opportunity to explore the inner world of flowers. For instance, we found out that the petals resemble little feet. You can even create a dissection chart! We looked it up because I'm always eager to learn new things. Now, let's get back to our project.
We used the petals to make the body, face, and even hair in these creations. As my mom would say, this is how cute she looks when she doesn't have long hair. The girls chose yellow bunches for their arms, which we think look awesome. They also found the perfect eyes – actually, it's the ovary of a flower! We noticed that we all like our flower choices. Our second set of twins turned out even more amazing than expected.
Now, let's move on to our next project: making fairies with wings. The girls requested this, so we're excited to see what they come up with. We used heavier flower parts for this one, switching to regular glue because the petals didn't hold well enough. This looks neat! Oh, and the girls also asked us to add glitter – a crucial element that makes everything sparkle. Now, I'm not sure about glitter; it's something we're still deciding on. What do you guys think? Does it enhance our natural creations or is it just too much?
The glitter made the girls happy, which is all that matters for now. We also created this magnificent Queen – a dancing flower – and Ford even made an awesome one-eyed monster. Unfortunately, one of the monsters fell off, so be sure to take pictures of these before they dry up because we want to preserve them somehow – perhaps by pressing or framing them.
This was a fun day for us, and we hope you had as much fun watching this video as we did creating it. Thanks for joining us on our outdoor adventure!
