Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra _ 5 Things We Love

Here is the reorganized text:

I've been playing around with my new Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra and I've got to say, it's been a game-changer for me. When you zoom in on the sunset shot I took, it's amazing to see how much detail comes through at 10x zoom - something that would be impossible to capture with the naked eye.

But what really started to notice was how my perception of what I can take photos of and how far has improved. As is typically the case with Samsung's Galaxy phones, you're gonna get great daytime photos with tons of detail and beautiful colors, but nighttime is still not quite at the level that iPhone or Pixel is - we'll go into more depth on that in our full camera comparison.

One other thing I can say is definitely improved is the selfie game on the S20 Ultra compared to last year's S10. Whether it's selfies or even just regular photos, it doesn't look as overly sharpened or overly beautified - dynamic range is improved and it just looks a little bit more natural than it has in the past.

Samsung is also really bringing the heat when it comes to video capture that's gonna be tough for competitors to deal with. One of the greatest things about this is the video stabilization, which includes both regular stabilization mode and super steady mode - my opinion should always be enabled. The super steady mode really gives you that walking on air gimbal stabilizer movement that is so pleasing to look at and so hard to replicate.

The last point I'll make about video is single take what single take does is allows you to take that 9 or 10 second video clip and not have to worry about missing the moment to capture a photo that might have happened in there. It pulls it out on its own using AI recognition and especially for social media if you want to take just a quick 10 second video of something somebody's about to do or a quick action shot then this is probably my favorite way to do it.

So, what else sets the S20 Ultra apart from other devices? Well, let's start with the display - the 6.9 inch QHD+ HDR 10+ dynamic AMOLED display delivers those punchy deep colors that we're so used to seeing on Samsung and does not disappoint here. The colors, resolution, and sheer size of it make watching videos a joy already.

Plus, the speakers add a really nice immersive experience - then you have that 120 Hertz refresh rate which is so pleasing on the eyes navigating through the phone's going through lists seeing different animations also a market difference over the 60 Hertz refresh rate that we've seen on the Galaxy S10 and most phones today. So, it's gonna be something that you're gonna notice all the time not only that but with any games that support the 120 Hertz refresh rate things come out so smooth and responsive and it's just so much easier on the eyes if you're gaming for hours on it.

And finally, 5G - this is a $1400 phone and as we all know 5g is on the cusp of world domination so next year or the year after that when it finally achieves it you don't want to have to get a new phone after you dropped almost $1500 on this. I was able to find 5G on Verizon's millimeter-wave hardware and got about 2 gigabits per second of download speed so it's nice to know that with this $1400 phone you'll have some of the fastest options for 5g when it gets to your area.

That are my 5 favorite features about the Galaxy S20 Ultra so far. Make sure you stay tuned for our full review and our in-depth camera comparison, and in the meantime if you have any questions make sure you let us know in the comments below.
