The Blizzard and the Dentist Office
We're currently en route to get my wisdom teeth pulled out. Hayden picked me up, and we got hit with a blizzard last night. The snow was even worse than yesterday, and everyone is struggling to get through the snow. However, the dentist office did not close, so I'm still getting my teeth pulled out today.
As we drove, we saw another car stuck in the snow. It turned out that they had hit another tire fire, making their situation even more dire. We also saw a van that was stuck, which made us feel a bit better about our own predicament. On the way to the dentist office, we stopped at a gas station where I used my camera to capture some footage of the chaos outside.
Upon arrival at the dentist office, we were informed that we couldn't film inside. However, I was able to get some quick shots of Kyle, who had just come out of surgery. He seemed to be in good spirits and wasn't too loopy about the whole experience. When I first went into the operating room, it looked like he was dead for a second before he woke up and started looking at us all weirdly.
After the procedure, I discovered that it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be. My jaw is still sore, but I'm doing pretty well overall. I've been eating soft food and drinking some soup to ease my discomfort. Today, I treated myself to some pancakes from McDonald's, which was a nice pick-me-up.
Meanwhile, at PFI, the car we were working on, Charlie, was having its own set of problems. The motor mounts were still moving quite a bit, and we needed to address this issue soon. We also discovered that one of the wagons had a slightly squished window, which made it difficult for us to get in and out.
Despite the challenges, we managed to get both wagons running again after a while. However, there's still some condensation inside Charlie's engine, which may need to be addressed soon. We also noticed that one of the wagons had gotten a bit hot, possibly due to a faulty thermostat or coolant issue.
We're planning to visit PFI again tomorrow to address these issues. Our goal is to get both wagons running smoothly and efficiently without any major problems. With the new je Pro seal head gasket, we're confident that Charlie's engine will be able to handle the boost without any further complications. We'll also need to check on the turbocharger's performance and possibly upgrade it later on.
In the meantime, we'll focus on fine-tuning Charlie's performance and getting both wagons back up to speed. With a little patience and persistence, we're confident that we can overcome these challenges and get our trusty vehicles running smoothly once again.
"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enso right now we're on our way to get my wisdom teeth pulled out Hayden picked me up and we just got hit with a blizzard last night even more snow than yesterday and everyone out here is stuck and struggling to get through the snow but the dentist office did not close unfortunately so I'm still getting my teeth pulled out today is that a Honda no I think it's a Chevy everyone yeah it's a Chevy everyone can't even get onto the road we got stuck we just got hit with a straight blizzard last night like even worse than yesterday yeah that real stuck oh dude another one that one tire fire he stuck he's stuck good he's on like summer Tires everyone out here is stuck oh he's so he saw my camera he's like this kid he's so self all right so we just got here and we're not allowed to film inside so the next time you see me my wisdom teeth should be out this is going to suck so Kyle just got out of surgery I'm thinking it pretty good I'm not I'm not too loopy yeah he didn't say anything funny so it's not going to be anything hilarious but he's definitely messed up yeah when I first went in there it looked funny cuz he looked like he was dead for a second I was tired he just like woke up and started looking at us all weird were you in there when I woke up yeah you don't remember me being in there no I remember you being in there for a little bit with my mom another van stuck so I got my wisdom teeth out about 3 hours ago I'd say and I didn't do anything stupid so I felt fine when I woke up my jaws just a little sore so I still have the cotton things in my mouth and I'm just on I just have some IBU Pro fin rer right now but uh I'm technically not supposed to drive for 24 hours but we got to get Charlie's Wago done so we're going to go head over to PFI right now and see if we can get it done Brent said he got the studs in there so see if we can drive them both home tonight look at all that snow just got to PFI so we're just wiping Charlie's waggle off so it doesn't get a whole bunch of water in there and then we're going to pull it in and we'll see if we can get it back together today all right so we're going to put the new studs in today I don't need this tape on anymore this motor is freezing cold cuz it's outside we're going to let it sit in the shop for a bit to warm up these are the new studs right here one more thing we still have to do is drill out the head because they don't quite fit through there it's a really snug fit but yeah these are B series they're a little thicker but yeah we just need to drill out the head just a little bit just to fit the new studs and then the head should be good to go on and we did get a je Pro seal head gasket these ones are a lot better than what you find at O'Reilly so hopefully we're not going to be blowing any boost into the coolant after we get all this done to it just going to bottom the all of them out the only one that will stick up more is this one cuz that one doesn't go as deep into the block you'll find an Len that fits it the head of one got the head all drilled out now we're throwing the gasket on there get her all put together think we might have to drill this oh yeah may have to drill the gasket out as well Corner ones these look pretty big yeah well guess we got to drill out the gasket just a little bit too here we go all right just got the head on there took a little finessing to get it to cooperate and sit all the way down but we got it and right now we're fixing to torque it down once again in three steps and this time we're going to try to go to 85 ftlb cuz they should be able to handle that want to make you oh I had gaset not going anywhere 85 lb but you saw how easy it was compared to oh yeah they didn't sound like they were going to break at all they're they're strong it's like a quarter yeah I know you're supp getting sketchy cuz you had a couple you go like a full turn before it would click that's like the difference between a 12 mm nut a 14 yeah oh now I just got to get get her back together let's get to you have all the parts here sick let's get that turbocharger back on the head's all torqued down we went ahead and started throwing everything back together Charlie's just putting some coolant in it and it should be good to go going to try to start it up once we finished topping that off and I think we got everything hooked up but I guess we'll find out if we don't yeah this is kind of get it right here yeah it's a little tight got some things to zip tie can't forget the ratch of strap going to try fire it up just got Charlie's waggo running again but we do have to go get some E85 cuz when it was on the tow truck it kind of drained it all out without having the the temperature change that it really the gas pressure so when it dropped from really cold to back in here like expanded and leaked all of it out yeah she's a little low on E85 so we're going to go grab some real quick in my Wago and then hopefully drive them both home getting that E85 for the Wago can finally take it home it's been forever a week and a half been too damn long without the wagon hope we got one good day with it oh whoops spilling corn all over the floor now this pump gas just going to eat all my pain away let's get the wagos home not used to work boots so my foot SLI off the clutch oh yes the flip-flops give me more Mobility all right let's get out of here do you want to let warm up for a sec no we can go all right that's just condensation both Waggles made it back okay uh we're still probably going to address Charlie's motor mounts again cuz it does move quite a bit still uh I guess the window well didn't quite work got a little squished out on that one but both wagos are back up and running right now so that's good and I did get my wisdom teeth pulled earlier and and it's not too bad right now actually I'm doing pretty good so I didn't let that stop us from working on the cars today I was just kind of eating some soft food I was drinking some soup and eating applesauce over at PFI and right now I'm eating some pancakes from McDonald's but I'm doing I'm doing pretty good it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it was going to be and I didn't do anything stupid after I woke up so I pretty much knew where I was and it wasn't that bad at all right now I feel fine my jaw is just a little sore but I should be good in a couple days and also my Wago got a little hot while we were going to get E85 only this Top Line is getting warm the bottom one is completely cold so it may need a new thermostat and since I still do have water in the cooling system instead of coolant uh I need to drain that out anyway so I might as well go get a thermostat tomorrow and switch that out see if that helps it at all and also give it an oil change and then I'll probably get mine tuned here pretty soon and the Turbo still seems like it's holding up okay and we'll get a couple more things done on Charlie so it's less janky as far as the motor mounts go and now that he has those bigger studs it should easily be able to handle the Boost without blowing any head gasket and the head gasket we got is a nice one it's the je Pro seal so shouldn't have any problems with that and later on down the road we'll probably upgrade his turbo as well cuz he wants to make a little more power cuz we're kind of maxing that eBay turbo out but for now we just want to try to get them running where they're at but they're getting there slowly but surely\n"
