**Testing the Thunder P3 Mouse Pad from Orus**
As I began testing the Thunder P3 mouse pad from Orus, I was excited to see how it would hold up against accidental spills and other everyday wear and tear. The first thing I noticed about this mouse pad was its size - it's massive! I thought my desk was bigger than it actually is, but this mouse pad takes up a lot of space. While it may be too big for smaller desks, it's perfect for larger ones.
One of the features that caught my attention was the spill-resistant surface. The microfiber material on top of the mouse pad is designed to prevent spills from seeping in and damaging the surface. I put this to the test by dripping water onto the mouse pad, and it performed flawlessly. It absorbed the water quickly and easily, with barely any evidence of the spill remaining on the surface. This feature makes the Thunder P3 a great option for anyone who wants to protect their mouse pad from spills and other accidents.
Another feature that I appreciated about this mouse pad was its durability. The stitched edges are designed to extend the life of the mouse pad by preventing fraying and damage over time. Unlike cheaper mouse pads, which often have frayed edges after just a few months or years of use, the Thunder P3 has anti-r stitched edges that will keep it looking new for longer.
The base of the mouse pad is also worth mentioning. It's made of rubber, which provides a comfortable and stable surface for your mouse to glide across. The rubber base also prevents the mouse pad from slipping around on your desk, making it perfect for use with mechanical gaming keyboards or other peripherals that require a lot of movement.
In addition to its spill-resistant surface and durable stitching, the Thunder P3 mouse pad is also extremely comfortable. The microfiber material provides a soft and luxurious surface for your hands to rest on, while the rubber base keeps the mouse pad stable and secure. I was able to use this mouse pad for extended periods of time without feeling any discomfort or fatigue.
One feature that wasn't necessarily advertised but proved to be useful in my testing was the rubberized padding on the bottom of the mouse pad. This provides an extra layer of cushioning and protection, which helps to prevent your keyboard from slipping around on a hard surface. I found that using this mouse pad with a non-rubberized keyboard resulted in significantly less sliding and movement than usual.
Finally, I have to mention the Thunder P3's size in a different context. While it may be too big for smaller desks, it can also serve as a makeshift melee weapon in a pinch! Just kidding, but seriously, this mouse pad is massive, and its size makes it perfect for use as a gaming surface or a large desk pad.
**The Spill Test**
To put the Thunder P3's spill-resistant surface to the test, I took it into my bathroom and began dripping water onto it. At first, I used just a few drops to see how the mouse pad would react, but soon found myself pouring more and more water onto the surface. The result was impressive - the mouse pad absorbed all of the water quickly and easily, with barely any evidence of the spill remaining on the surface. To clean up the spill, I simply grabbed some paper towel and used it to absorb as much of the water as possible.
Overall, the Thunder P3 mouse pad from Orus is a great option for anyone looking for a high-quality gaming mouse pad. Its spill-resistant surface, durable stitching, and comfortable microfiber material make it perfect for use with mechanical gaming keyboards or other peripherals that require a lot of movement. Whether you're a casual gamer or a professional esports player, the Thunder P3 is sure to provide hours of comfortable and reliable service.
**Conclusion**
The Thunder P3 mouse pad from Orus has proven itself to be a top-notch product in my testing. Its spill-resistant surface, durable stitching, and comfortable microfiber material make it perfect for use with mechanical gaming keyboards or other peripherals that require a lot of movement. While its size may be too big for smaller desks, it's perfect for larger ones. Whether you're a casual gamer or a professional esports player, the Thunder P3 is sure to provide hours of comfortable and reliable service. "WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhow's it going everybody welcome back to the channel I'm Kyle with awesome sa Network today I'll be doing an unboxing and overview of this gaming mouse pad from orus this is their Thunder P3 and it comes in four different sizes small medium large and extend of course the one I'll be reviewing for you today is the extend model so really quickly on the box here I did want to point out that this bad boy measures in at 1,000x 400 mm it is 3 mm thick uh this once again is the extend version or the Lord style as they're calling it and it's more of a desk pad than a mouse pad just of the enormity the crazy ridiculous size that it is um so if you have a lot of peripherals or you just want a nice little rug for your desk I'm calling it a desk rug at this point uh then this might be the way to go all right so some main features on this mouse pad here it is constructed of a microfabric cloth pattern which offers super your slick gliding with whatever Mouse you might be using on it it also has a spill resistant surface to protect your mouse pad against accidental spills and I'm actually going to be testing this out a bit later so stay tuned for that it also has some anti-r stitched edges uh to extend the durability of this mouse pad if you guys are familiar with cheaper mouse pads they don't have a stitched Edge and after using them for a couple months or sometimes a couple years if you're lucky you'll start to see these frayed edges along the sides and it's really annoying it gets everywhere it's just a huge mess so this aims to avoid any of that issue and lastly once again this is a 3mm thick mouse pad but it also does have a rubber base on the bottom to prevent any slipping and sliding around when you happen to be using it all right guys so here's the mouse pad laid out on my teeny tiny desk uh I thought it was a bigger desk until I put this thing on this is just massive um or my desk is really tiny so if you have a desk about my size this might not be the size of a mouse pad for you maybe go for a smaller Thunder P3 uh than this one but this is also kind of nice I kind of like how it fills up a lot of my desk I don't like however that I had to put it underneath part uh both my monitors and that actually elevates them quite a bit so I had to uh go ahead and adjust them by tilting them forward a little to to level everything out but other than that it's very comfortable the microfiber material is very nice um I can just rest my my my arms on it or even when I'm gaming or just typing and stuff it's actually very comfortable the stitched edges are not itchy at all whatsoever it's very comfortable I don't even notice it there and uh it also has kind of like a nice grip to it obviously it's because a lot of my pretty much all my peripherals are resting on top of it so that keeps it from sliding around but you can just tell the the quality of the rubber underneath is very good and it keeps it from uh moving around pretty much at all now another thing I wanted to point out about this mouse pad that isn't necessarily an advertised feature but I still thought it was kind of interesting uh regardless is that it almost serves as a rubberized pad uh itself not just on the bottom but on the top as well uh for example most mechanical gaming keyboards or just gaming keyboards in general these days have rubberized feet on the bottom or rubber pads but the foldout feet to help elevate your keyboard almost certainly do not have rubberized uh padding on the bottom of them so if you like to have your keyboard in a more uh raised uh ergonomic configuration then typically you get a lot of sliding around with that but with this with this mouse pad just inadvertently I don't think it was orus as intention to for it to work this way but it just doesn't seem to slide around as much with non- rubberized feet on your keyboard and I almost forgot to mention this thing is so damn massive you can also use it as a melee weapon to beat down your friends all right guys so I've taken the Thunder P3 into my Testing Lab AKA my bathroom to do the spill test as I promised so I'm going to just drip some water on here and we're going to see how it reacts and how easy it is to clean up couple drops there we'll start off small and it looks like it's not absorbing into the mouse pad at all as you can see I'm going to see if this works whoa that's pretty sweet it's like it's been Liquipel all right I don't know if that's in frame so I'm going to pour some more because I think it can take it let do a bunch here and to absorb I'm going to just take some paper towel here and suck it up wow that's awesome and it's it it's barely wet the surface literally still feels pretty dry I mean obviously you can tell something was there it's a little bit colder than the rest of it but for the most part uh this is this is approved this is definitely a spell resistant mouse pad all right ladies and gentlemen this has been the
