Unboxing the Kingston 96GB SSD: A Mid-Range Storage Solution

this is basically an upgrade kit we also get a standard kit and by the means of upgrade kit is that let me zoom in so we get the SSD uh USB adapter we get uh basically rails for mounting it to a standard uh 3 and 1/2 in uh hard drive slot we get the Sata cable power and and we get this handy software in which we can easily migrate our operating system from our existing hard drive to this SST so let's now open up this SST so now I'm going to open the SST it's seal let's break the seal and Kingston Technologies has provided us with this SS for review we get the CD we also get a USB cable the case rails for mounting it to a standard hard drive power cable Sata cable and the actual SSD build quality of the SSD looks really good it's not made of plastic it's made up of metal and it says 96 GB and the model name and on the back we have the mounting screws two over here two over here and on the other end it's nothing but the standard power cable and the SATA data cable goes here now let's look at the USB case that's provided we have a lock switch let me open it and this box should open now and the Box opens and what you can do is uh if you're using a laptop that that also comes with a standard 2.5 in uh hard drive so after installing this SSD in your laptop you can install your laptop's hard drive inside this enclosure and use it as a portable hard drive you only get this USB hard drive enclosure with the upgrade kit model these are the mounting brackets to install the SSD in a 3.5 in standard hard drive enclosure and we get all the screws also required for the same we also get this software dis in which we have this cloning software by using which we can easily clone our our hard drive to this SSD so that way you need not have to reinstall your entire operating system to use this SSD as your primary drive in my next video I'll actually show you how to basically clone your uh hard drive to this SSD using this software and that's it for now this is ranit for
