It's That Time of Year Again: Simple DIYs for 4th of July from Dollar Tree
As we approach the 4th of July, it's that time of year again to get creative with our decorations and add some patriotic flair to our homes. In this article, we'll explore three simple and easy DIYs using items from Dollar Tree.
The First DIY: Star Lights Mason Jar
In this first DIY, we're going to create a beautiful Star Lights Mason Jar decoration. To start, you'll need to purchase the following items from Dollar Tree: batteries, star lights, and mason jars. The only issue I found with this project is that the battery holder has a screw in it, which requires a little tool kit to unscrew. However, I was able to find a tool set at Dollar Tree and the necessary batteries. Once you have everything, simply pop in your batteries and add some star lights to the mason jar. The battery holder may be a bit too large for the mason jar, so I couldn't really hide it underneath the cap, but I found that hiding it behind the lid would solve the problem. This DIY is incredibly simple - just pop in the batteries, add the star lights, and you're done! You can also use this decoration as a candle holder by adding a tea light or votive candle inside the jar.
One of the best things about this project is that Dollar Tree offers affordable options for this type of decoration. I was able to find the same star lights at Walmart for almost two dollars, but for just one dollar, it's a steal! The possibilities for decor are endless with these mason jars and star lights - you can use clear mason jars or get them in color, such as blue and red, to match your patriotic theme. You could even use regular white LED fairy lights instead of the star lights to create a different look.
Our Next DIY: Simple Garland Candle Holder
In our next DIY, we're going to create a beautiful garland candle holder using items from Dollar Tree. This project is incredibly easy - it took me only three items to complete: a garland, a candle holder, and a candle. I purchased three different garlands at Dollar Tree and was able to cover the entire space with just one or two. The idea behind this DIY is to create a full and lush look by tucking the loose ends of the garland into the previous loop. This doesn't require hot glue - just a little creativity and patience! I originally wanted to use this project as a wreath, but after seeing it, I thought it would be much cuter as a candle holder.
I was able to find both the candle holder and candle at Dollar Tree, making this DIY even more affordable. Just be careful when burning a real candle - they can get quite hot! However, if you're looking for a flameless option, there are plenty of those available as well. I'm so excited about this project that I think I'll be doing two more and creating a whole centerpiece for my kitchen table.
Our Final DIY: Red, White, and Blue Candle Jars
In our final DIY, we're going to decorate some candle jars using star necklaces from Dollar Tree. I had an idea to use these necklaces in a different way, so I decided to give it a try. To start, I found gorgeous frosted white jars at Dollar Tree - the perfect base for my decoration. I took a dab of hot glue and popped on some red, white, and blue star stickers to create a beautiful design. This DIY is quick and easy, and you can customize it however you like by using all blue stars or all red stars.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enit's that time of year again we're 4th of July is almost upon us which is kind of crazy but today I'm going to share with you three simple easy DIYs using everything from Dollar Tree in the very first one I'm calling a star lights mason jar DIY it's super simple the only issue that I found with it is that you do need a little tool kit to unscrew the little battery box because it does have a screw in it and but I did get that little tool set at Dollar Tree and the batteries there and basically you just pop in your batteries and then you put a little lights on the mason jar now the battery holder as you can see is a little too big so I couldn't really like hide it underneath the cap so there was really no way for me to close or add the lid to the mason jar and even adding the battery part to the inside of the mason jar I'd and think look really cute so I'm just gonna hide it behind it when I do get all of my decor out you will see how I kind of arranged this in the end just for the video purposes but stay tuned because I'm not sure where these lights are gonna end up I actually think they're gonna go outside with my patio decor but stay tuned subscribe because I will show you like a how I decorated for fourth of July throughout my house but this DIY was that simple you just pop in the batteries put in your little star lights into the mason jar and it is so cute I do have to say I saw the exact same lights at Walmart for almost two dollars so the fact that you can get each package of these LED lights for one dollar Dollar Tree is a steal and they're so cute and your decor options for this is kind of endless so but I really love this mason jar and I hope you do too and if you don't want to go with clear mason jars you can definitely get them in color so if you want to do patriotic for USA for fourth of July obviously you could get a clear mason jar a blue and a red mason jar and then instead of doing these lights you could just do regular clear white LED fairy lights and that would look really cute and then your candle will illuminate the candle color or they can't they're the mason jar color not the candle what am I talking about our second DIY is so easy it just takes well it took about three I guess items the read from Dollar Tree and then the garland from Dollar Tree and I did by three different Garland's and it was just enough to cover the entire thing and make it look nice and full although I think you could probably get away with just two Garland's and then your project costs would only be three dollars versus my cost which was four dollars and I could not believe that I did this so quickly and you don't even need hot glue you can basically just tuck the loose ends into the previous little loop and it will stay securely now originally I actually wanted to do this as a wreath but after looking at this I thought it would be a lot Kito cuter as a candle holder so and that's basically how I'm using it and I also got the candle holder from Dollar Tree and the candle itself from Dollar Tree as well obviously just be careful if you're burning a real candle and but they do have flameless candles not this size at Dyea tree but you know in other places and this is one of my favorite DIYs as a matter of fact I think I'm gonna get two more and do two more wreaths so that I can make like a whole centerpiece out of it on my kitchen table and our very last and third DIY from Dollar Tree I'm calling these red white and blue candle jars I have no idea why I never really even thought of this but you guys if you've been with me for a long time then you've seen me use these necklaces and a other DIY using mason jars so I'll link that video down below it's really really cute I can't wait to bring them back out and decorate with them again but I wanted to do something with these star necklaces again so I just wanted to decorate some candle jars and I found these gorgeous frosted white jars at Dollar Tree and thought I could easily just take a dab of hot glue and pop it on there and that is it you guys looks really really cute and of course you don't have to do red white and blue you can just get all blue stars or all white stars are all red stars super quick video today I hope that you guys enjoyed it don't forget all of my previous 4th of July decors that I've ever done on my channel I will link them down below for you most of them if not all of them are also from Dollar Tree so I hope you guys enjoyed and I can't wait to share more this is a series so I'm gonna have more fourth of July decor coming out really soon so don't forget to subscribe and click the alerts button so that you know when I'm putting out videos and I'll see you guys in those videos bye\n"
