The Vlogger's Travel Plans and Bike Conundrum
As I sit here reflecting on my upcoming travel plans, I am filled with a mix of excitement and anxiety. My wife Nicole and I have been working tirelessly to balance our work and personal lives, and it shows. Our YouTube channel has become a labor of love, but the constant pressure to produce content can be overwhelming at times. In this video, I want to share my travel plans with you, warts and all.
One thing that's clear is that consistency is key on our channel. We strive to create high-quality content for our viewers, who we're incredibly grateful to have stuck with us despite my sporadic upload schedule. We've been working hard to establish a routine, but it's not always easy. Some days I'm all over the place, and that's just not going to happen. I apologize to those who may be disappointed by this inconsistency, as I know how much our viewers rely on us to deliver content on a regular basis.
On a more positive note, we've been fortunate enough to have some great collaborations in recent months. eBay Motors, for example, reached out to us about featuring one of my cars, specifically my 240. They did an article about it, which I'll link to in the description below if you're interested in checking it out. We're always excited to partner with other brands and share our passion for cars with our audience.
Travel Plans Ahead
Speaking of travel, Nicole and I have some big plans ahead of us. In June, we're heading to Atlanta to see Pierce the Veil live. They're one of our favorite bands, and we're stoked that they'll be playing Misadventures from start to finish. We also plan on exploring the city a bit, hopefully taking in some of the local sights and sounds.
After Atlanta, I have finals for my summer classes to complete before heading out on another adventure. This time, we'll be flying to California for VidCon, where we'll be attending one of our favorite events for content creators. We're looking forward to meeting some new people, taking part in panels and workshops, and just soaking up as much knowledge as possible.
After VidCon, Nicole and I will head to San Diego, where we'll spend some quality time together before heading out on a cruise through Northern Europe. This has been a dream of ours for years, and we can barely contain our excitement. We'll be visiting destinations like Talinn, Estonia; St. Petersburg, Russia; Helsinki, Finland; Oslo, Norway – the list goes on! We're not sure exactly how much time we'll have to explore each location, but we're determined to make the most of it.
A Big Issue: Bikes on a Cruise Ship
One thing that's been on our minds lately is what to do with our bikes on this cruise. I'm not entirely sure what the rules are for bringing them onboard, and honestly, it's been causing some stress. We don't want to bring them through customs or worry about storing them in a hotel room, but we also really want to be able to ride during our stops. Nicole has been pushing us hard on this front, and I appreciate her enthusiasm.
We're still figuring out the best way to handle this situation, but we're determined to make it work. We'll likely bring our bikes through customs when we arrive in Berlin before the cruise, and then have them stored safely while we're away. But for the most part, we'll be leaving our bikes behind. It's not ideal, but we want to prioritize enjoying our time together as a couple during this trip.
Vlogging on Our Honeymoon
As I mentioned earlier, Nicole and I are getting married in the summer, and we've decided to take some time off to relax and enjoy each other's company before embarking on this new chapter of life. We'll be taking a cruise through Northern Europe, and while we're excited to explore these beautiful destinations, we also want to capture our experiences with our audience.
We've been talking about how to balance Vlogging with our honeymoon, and we've come to a compromise. We won't be doing daily uploads on the ship itself – there just isn't great Wi-Fi for that – but we'll try to film some of the highlights before leaving, so we can schedule them to go live while we're back in Berlin. We want to share our journey with you guys, but we also need a little bit of downtime to recharge.
In conclusion, I hope this video has given you a glimpse into what's been going on with us lately. It's not always easy being content creators, but it's worth it to be able to share our passions and connect with such amazing people as our audience. We're grateful for your support, and we can't wait to see where the future takes us.
