**The Toyota and Mini Challenge: A Drag Racing Comparison**

As we began our drag racing challenge, it was clear that both cars had different strengths and weaknesses. The Toyota, with its powerful engine, got off to a great start, accelerating quickly down the track. However, the Mini struggled at first, taking some time to get up to speed.

**The Quarter Mile Showdown**

Both cars eventually crossed the quarter mile line in 13.6 seconds, but it was clear that they had very different approaches to acceleration. The Toyota's powerful engine allowed it to take off quickly, while the Mini's smaller engine struggled to keep up. However, as we moved on to the next part of the challenge, it became clear that the cars were not just competing in a straight line.

Next, we set up a rolling race at 50 miles an hour, with both cars in their most relaxed settings. The Toyota's automatic transmission made it easy to cruise along, while the Mini's manual transmission required more effort from the driver. As we accelerated, the cars quickly pulled away from each other, with the Toyota taking the lead. However, as we reached higher speeds, the Mini began to pull ahead, demonstrating its agility and handling.

For our second rolling race, we started at 35 miles an hour, with the Toyota in fourth gear and the Mini in third. As we accelerated, the cars pulled away from each other, with the Toyota taking a clear lead. kazoo racing yaris a homologation special limited run crazy little hot hatch that bears very little resemblance to a normal yaris apart from its lights door mirrors and tail lights that's it it's got a carbon fiber roof it's got independent rear suspension it's got two diffs one at the front on the back and of course the the diff of the four wheel drive system it's nuts next to me it's another nuts little hot hatch a mini gp crazy little drag race we're gonna have here let me tell you about this toyota so it's got a 1.6 liter three cylinder turbo it's the most powerful three cylinder turbo engine currently on sale yeah forget about the one in the coding segment this is the most powerful one on sale right now that you can buy it puts out 261 horsepower and 360 newton meters of torque and it drives all four wheels via a six-speed manual gearbox a good old-fashioned manual for a four-wheel drive car it's quite light it weighs in at 1280 kilos the cost of this car with the track pack with the torsion limited slip diff at the front and the back it costs thirty three thousand four hundred and ninety five pounds it's well worth it though i love this car that many gp is a bit more expensive it's thirty five and a half thousand pounds it's got a bigger engine as well a two liter forcing the turbo with 306 horsepower and 450 newton meters of torque so more power it's also light in this car 1255 kilos so better power to weight ratio but it's not perfect you see it's front-wheel drive only though it does have an automatic gearbox it's an eight speeder but it has launch control so that will help it now i'm trying to talk as much as possible because it's raining a little bit and i want the track to get damp because that's gonna go in my favor and show the true benefit of the four-wheel drive system in this car shouldn't be biased though matt don't be biased also make sure you subscribe to this car wow channel if you haven't done so already because we're doing loads more really has it got a normal exhaust on it or is it aftermarket i believe it is the one fitted at the factory which do you think sounded the best the iris on the mini let me know in the comments i'm start come on come on i smashed him it's coming back come on come on come on come on come on come on oh that's so so close i don't know who won what so then what exactly happened well the toyota got a mark in 13.6 seconds now we have a rolling race from 50 miles an hour with the cars in there more relaxed setting that's got an automatic gearbox so he'll be in auto mode i have a manual but i'm gonna be in six and then i'm gonna have to change down into third gear and i'm gonna use the rev matching so i can press a little button so it should blitz the throttle automatically when i go to change down to help me out basically let's see what happens bit odd this you ready let's go let's go up to speed okay there we go roughly 50 mile an hour here we are three two one go oh no my change was all right that kicked down way quicker than i thought now it's just buggered off it's just utterly buggered off ah smash me were you in like automatic and comfort and all that kind of stuff because that car just buggered off trouble is it doesn't really have a comfort mode it's either gp or normal and that was normal that's fine this wasn't normal i just didn't change very quickly okay let's do it again but this time let's go from 35 miles an hour i'll be in fourth and i'll go into second ready three two one go whoa that was close up he's gone now though the poor transmission was like i'm not sure that auto blip had time to actually do its thing at least it wasn't a money shift the world speed wasn't enough to take it way past 7000 rpm lost that though lost that now we have a rolling race but take the gear change out of it all the cars gonna be their sportiest settings i'm in track is in gp mode and we're gonna start in third gear so he'll be locked in manual mode in third gear you ready then third gear sportiest mode let's do it here we go three two one go this picked up definitely did but now he's going oh now he's pulling bug up all right show off do you know what i think my 1.6 three cylinder picked up slightly better than your mini's two liter four cylinder yeah i think you had the edge on me there but then i just started to pull away but i'm just hanging on for dear life and this car is all over the place really like the steering wheel's just going crazy yeah it talks to tram lining is all going on lights flashing my life this rock solid absolutely just puts all of its power down and i was impressed with how it just took off that second or two just ahead you know why that is because i've got a wrc inspired turbo charger which is ball raced hell yeah you ain't got that in your mini finally we're going to have a break test from 70 miles an hour when we hit the line for emergencies stop okay then get leverage just stay level i'll try and balance it as best as i can i've got no digital speedo which is unusual these days is the lightning comes the line come on yaris come on come on wlc yes come on wrc harrison i hardly ever ever ever win brake test and that one i just totally smashed i'm so pleased when the drag no didn't win the drag race did it whether riley needed the rolling race when the brake test one win for the yaris gr the mini win overall won
