My Monthly Favorites: A Beauty Lover's Delight

As we dive into this month's favorites, I want to start by talking about my Essie polish obsession. While they can be pricey, I recently scored Avenue Maintenance at TJ Maxx for a steal of $6! This beautiful blue shade is perfect for the summer season and has been getting plenty of attention from friends and family alike. I'm absolutely loving it on my nails right now.

I have to admit, I wasn't originally looking for an Essie polish, but when I spotted this gorgeous shade, I just couldn't resist. There's something about bright colors that just makes me feel alive, especially during the warmer months. The Avenue Maintenance polish is a great addition to my collection and has become a new favorite.

Another beauty product that has caught my attention recently is the Bed Head by TIGI Leave-In Conditioner in Dum Blonde. I picked this up at TJ Maxx for an unbeatable price of $6 - yes, you read that right! This leave-in conditioner is usually priced around $14, but for a fraction of that cost, I couldn't pass it up. The formula claims to detangle and add shine to your hair, and while I haven't seen drastic results, my hair does feel healthier and less frizzy since using it.

I've also been enjoying the Fruity Pebbles-inspired scent from this leave-in conditioner - who wouldn't love a fragrance that smells like their favorite childhood cereal? It's definitely a unique selling point for this product. While I haven't noticed any dramatic changes in my hair care routine, I do appreciate the subtle benefits and the affordable price tag.

In addition to beauty products, I've also been loving some of my recent TV show obsessions. Parks and Recreation is still one of my all-time favorite shows, and I'm excited to see where the character development takes Nick and Leslie's storyline in future episodes. New Girl is another series that has become a staple in my viewing rotation - who wouldn't love a quirky group of friends like Jess and Nick Miller? Both shows have such talented casts, and it's amazing to see how well they all work together.

If you're looking for some new TV shows to get hooked on, I highly recommend checking out Nashville and The Mindy Project. Both series offer unique storylines and lovable characters that will keep you engaged from start to finish. I won't give too much away, but trust me when I say that both shows are definitely worth the watch.

anyone was interested in learning about my other favorites that are not book rated such as beauty makeup TV shows and movies and all that kind of stuff so and a lot of you guys said yes so here we go even care about so just a forewarning let's just jump right in to learn about my favorites that are non book related category I'm going to talk about is makeup now it's no surprise hopefully to any of you guys that I love makeup I've Loved makeup for a long long time I actually discovered the beauty side of YouTube way before the book side of YouTube and that's where I learned how to do a lot of makeup even though today my cat liner is not really looking that great but that's okay you know I'm not ashamed I'm still learning how to do it the first thing I actually just got a couple weeks ago it's the pure minerals um pressed mineral makeup um and it has SPF 15 it's just a pressed foundation and um the reason I got this is because my skin is very very sensitive like I've noticed lately that every time I buy a new liquid foundation whether it be Revlon whether it be Covergirl whether it be something else my skin will just break out horribly it's just awful so I decided to take a jump into the um mineral foundation and it's so so far been great before you asked yes this is somewhat expensive I believe this is $27 I never pay this much for makeup honestly but I had to because my skin breaking out and just the awfulness of it was I didn't mind paying a little bit extra because I know this will last me a good 6 months maybe a year it's summertime anyway so I don't want to feel like I have all this liquid stuff on my face it's very very light very sheer coverage and I really enjoy it most of these products are high-end I'm not going to lie to you I these are probably my only high-end products I don't buy them very often I buy in bulk so when I I don't buy like a single eyes Shadow or a single something I think that's ridiculous I do like some high-end makeup because I feel like it is truly better but like I said I buy them every these are accumulation over the past year that I've bought these and yeah I don't buy them that often believe you me on that one is the Naked Basics palette now you probably heard about the Naked Palette and the Naked 2 palette it's like this big and it's $50 which I can't even fathom to pay maybe I'll ask for that for like my birthday or Christmas or something but this was just $25 which is still pretty steep but I'm really loving it so far it has six shadows in it if you can see and they're all pretty matte and they're all pretty neutral and you have a black one I love it I'm a neutral ey Shadow junkie I just like the neutral look I think it looks best on me love the the nice matte effect it has I've noticed I really like matte shadows over shimmery Shadows I just think they look best on me and yeah blush and it is from ba a bombshell cosmetics and and it's in Beach please and I actually got this in my glam bag which if you guys don't know about I can do a video on it um Ipsy now I learned if you guys don't know who Michelle Fawn is she's uh probably the biggest Beauty YouTuber there is she created a company called Ipsy and pretty much Ipsy is a monthly Glam Bag you get every month you pay $10 a month and they send you a range from anywhere I say anywhere from four to six products and some of them are full size some of them are sample size anyway it's $10 and I got this in it and this is a full-size blush which I'm guessing probably costs anywhere from 15 to 25 so that doubles your bag right there and they are just an amazing company I love I love all the stuff they send they send full-sized nail polishes they'll send fullsize blushes they'll send amazing eyeliners I love them I use all their products I can't get enough of it so I just recently got this one in this Mon's glam bag and I love is so pigmented like it's the Pinki blush I've ever used in my life sorry it's probably about to get lighter in here the sun's coming out and I adore it but be careful with this it little goes a long way you do not want to over do your brush in it you just want to tap it a little couple times make sure you dust off the excess and then Pat it on your cheek bearingly I'm using it today I love the bright pink it gives I love bright pink blushes but this is very very pigmented as you can see like holy crap but it's amazing I love this blush this might be my all-time favorite blush nail polishes I do not wear nail polishes that often because I have a part-time job where I'm not really allowed to wear nail polishes or it just chips and my nails are awful they chip con like I have I just pained my nails yesterday I've already had to Rouch them twice tells you how bad my nails are but um I buy them every every so often I never buy nail polish that much from last year and this is one of my favorites and it is by spoiled by Wet n Wild I believe I found this at CVS it was like a dollar or two and it is the brightest pink I love pink if you can't tell which is weird because I used to hate pink but it is the brightest neon pink nail polish I've ever seen in my life it is called plastic Flamingo the name fits obviously because plastic flamingos are pretty pink but I love it it is so so neon pink it's actually I believe the bottle's already halfway gone I just if I'm ever in a if I ever want to paint my nails and don't know what to paint I always go for this one by Essie which I only own about three Essie polishes because they're ridiculously expensive and I only got this one cuz I had a coupon but it is called Avenue maintain and it's a very very pretty blue I was actually looking for a different SE polish but I found this one but I enjoy it my nails are painted it right now really enjoy this bright blue one I just love bright colors for um summertime the last Beauty thing I promise you is a leave-in conditioner this is by bedad and this is called Dum blonde leave-in conditioner and I think this retails for about 14 bucks which I would never pay but I got that TJ Maxx for what $6 yeah $6 for this beast that's a pretty good deal for this brand um if you're ever wanting really good hair care stuff always go to TJ Maxx a lot of hair end stuff for way way cheaper I really love love this um I haven't even used any that much that I can't tell a really huge difference but my hair hasn't felt awful so I think it's working also another benefit this smells like Fruity Pebbles no lie like I used the first time and I was like this is Fruity Pebbles like 100%
