Everything Leads to You Review by Nina Lacour _ Spoiler Free Review

**A Review of "The Identicals" by Elin Hilderbrand**

I really really enjoyed this book it took me a very long time to read because of exams but and usually when it does take me a long time to read books I don't usually like them too much but I actually really really loved this one I gave it five out of five stars. I thought the writing was really awesome, the writing was very cinematic and um really just engaging and I thought it was very realistic none of the characters were too perfect or too flawed I really really liked that um and yeah the characters Emmy was a really awesome character she I loved her job I loved the whole atmosphere of Hollywood and Emmy is a set designer so she goes out and she basically designs these rooms based on the scripts of movies and I just really really loved that I thought it was such an awesome thing to learn about and now I find when I'm watching movies or TV shows I'm paying more attention to like the little details in the set it's just a really really cool job for her to have and I thought it was a very it added a lot to the story and to her character um she was a little bit indecisive and impulsive but I thought that was quite realistic I mean she's a girl who's not really sure what she wants in life and I just thought it made sense for her to kind of make these rash decisions she kind of speaks without thinking and acts without thinking um and sometimes it gets her into trouble but it really added to the plot and it wasn't really too annoying.

Charlotte was kind of a one-dimensional character which was a little bit disappointing all you know is that she also works in the movie industry um she does a different job than Emmy but she's just kind of the side character I wish we had gotten to know her a little bit more um she was just kind of the person that Emmy would turn to to clean up her messes I just wish that Charlotte had been given a little bit more of a personality but I did still really like her she was a very loyal friend and definitely the kind of friend that Emmy needs. The other characters were really intriguing as well I found that a lot of the characters were just very interesting and kind of different they had their little quirks and I really really liked that I really liked the plot it was pretty fast-paced as far as contemporaries go um there was a lot happening and it kind of was taking some some twists and turns that I wasn't really expecting I really liked the um the aspect of them trying to figure out um and kind of unveil uh Clyde's Jo Clyde Jones who is the actor who has recently died he was this great actor um kind of like the like western guy I don't know his for some reason I want to say Bruce Wayne but that's Batman or is it is that Batman yeah that's Batman yeah but no I don't know I don't know his name but you know the western guy that's kind of I think who Clyde Jones was based off of um and he has recently died and they go to this estate sale and they find this letter this isn't spoilers and they find this letter that says that he had a daughter so now they're on this journey trying to find his daughter and trying to get his estate to who it belongs to and it just takes some really interesting turns with that um plot line I really really liked that I thought it was very unique and in contemporaries it's kind of hard to find unique contemporaries but I really enjoyed that even the romance in this book I thought it was going to go one way but then it went another I don't know if it was just me who thought it was going to go the one way but the romances were complicated but not annoyingly so there wasn't really an annoying love triangle or or anything it was just kind of Emy trying to come into herself and figure out who she want who she wanted to love and who really loved her back and trying to figure out what exactly love was and I did really like that there was no love triangle because those can get very very annoying.

I also really enjoyed that there were lgbtq aspects to this book um I really liked that there were lesbian characters kind of bringing the the diversity into ya I always am all for that and I think it really worked well with this book because it was such a unique book I really liked the fact that we had those lgbtq aspects to it so yeah that is all for this review overall I would definitely recommend this to anyone who loves contemporary or Loves movies I think you would really really enjoy this if you like movies so I gave this five out of five stars and I'm really excited to read more of Nina Lor's books because I really enjoyed this I really liked her writing style so yeah I hope you guys enjoyed and I hope this was helpful and I will see you guys in the next video bye

thought it was such an awesome thing to learn about and now I find when I'm watching movies or TV shows I'm paying more attention to like the little details in the set it's just a really really cool job for her to have and I thought it was a very it added a lot to the story and to her character um she was a little bit indecisive and impulsive but I thought that was quite realistic I mean she's a girl who's not really sure what she wants in life and I just thought it made sense for her to kind of make these rash decisions she kind of speaks without thinking and acts without thinking um and turns that I wasn't really expecting I really liked the um the aspect of them trying to figure out um and kind of unveil uh Clyde's Jo Clyde Jones who is the actor who has recently died he was this great actor um kind of like the like western guy I don't know his for some reason I want to say Bruce Wayne but that's Batman or is it is that Batman yeah that's Batman yeah but no I don't know I don't know his name but you know the western guy that's kind of I think who Clyde Jones was based off of um and he has recently died and they go to this estate sale and they find this letter this isn't spoilers and they find this letter that says that he had a daughter so now they're on this journey trying to find his daughter and trying to get his estate to who it belongs to and it just takes some really interesting turns with that um plot line I really really liked that I thought it was very unique and in contemporaries it's kind of hard to find unique contemporaries but I really enjoyed that even the romance in this book I thought it was going to go one way but then it went another I don't know if it was just me who thought it was going to go the one way but the romances were complicated but not annoyingly so there wasn't really an annoying love triangle or or anything it was just kind of Emy trying to come into herself and figure out who she want who she wanted to love
