Edd China reveals why he'd never rejoin Wheeler Dealers in a barbershop

**A Car Enthusiast's Life**

As I sit here, surrounded by my various automotive projects, I am reminded of just how much cars have become an integral part of my life. From restoring classic vehicles to experimenting with cutting-edge technology, my passion for cars knows no bounds. And it's not just about the thrill of the drive; working on cars has a profound impact on both my mental and emotional well-being.

**The Beauty of Reliability**

Take, for instance, the engine. A reliable powerplant is essential to any car enthusiast's dream. I recall thinking that a beautiful car wouldn't be bought solely because of its engine. But, what if I were to swap it out for an electric one? Wouldn't that make all the difference in terms of performance and reliability? Of course, there are many factors to consider when it comes to selecting the right engine, but I firmly believe that a well-tuned powerplant can elevate any vehicle from mere mortal to extraordinary.

**A Life of Projects**

Speaking of projects, I have a long list of them. In fact, I've found that my projects often take on a life of their own. At one point, I had an overwhelming number of tasks to complete, with only six months allocated for each project. Needless to say, I struggled to keep up. However, this experience taught me the importance of prioritization and focus. Now, I approach my projects with a clear head and a sense of purpose.

**Dreams of Island Getaways**

One of my most cherished dreams is to create a desert island car haven. Imagine it: a secluded paradise where one can indulge in their passion for cars without distractions or interruptions. A tranquil beachside setting would provide the perfect backdrop for such an endeavor, with another island serving as a makeshift trailer for a vehicle that's sure to turn heads.

**The World's Fastest Tea Party**

Of course, not all of my endeavors are quite so...unconventional. I've always been fascinated by speed and performance. Thus, the concept of the world's fastest tea party was born. Using an old Rolls Royce engine, I set out to create a unique and thrilling experience. Although the project has yet to come to fruition, the idea remains as captivating as ever.

**The Best First Cars**

When it comes to selecting one's first car, there are many factors to consider. In my opinion, modern cars can be overwhelming, with too much emphasis on technology and features that make them difficult to connect with on a personal level. I believe that the best first cars are often those from an earlier era, with air-cooled engines being particularly appealing to me.

**The Importance of Support**

When it comes to working on cars, having the right support can make all the difference. While some might argue that this requires a significant amount of specialization, I firmly believe that having access to comprehensive resources and a supportive community is essential for any car enthusiast.

**Health and Safety**

As someone who spends an inordinate amount of time around automotive chemicals, I've learned the importance of prioritizing health and safety. This is why I always wear nitrile gloves when working on my cars – not only do they provide excellent protection against harm, but they also make me feel more grounded and connected to my surroundings.

**Range Rover Revival**

Currently, I'm busy reviving two of my Range Rovers, ensuring that they're functioning at their best. With an upcoming anniversary approaching, I've decided to put my Sopris into the shop for a major overhaul. The end goal is to create an electric vehicle capable of tackling long-distance drives and pushing the boundaries of speed.

**A Life Beyond Cars**

While cars will always be a significant part of my life, I recognize that there are other pursuits worth exploring. With my boat at my disposal, I've discovered a newfound appreciation for relaxation and tranquility. Whether it's working on cars or simply enjoying the thrill of the ocean, I'm grateful to have found ways to balance my passion with the demands of everyday life.

**The Power of Cars in Mental Health**

For many, working on cars can be an incredibly therapeutic experience. By focusing on a project, one can push aside frustration and stress, finding solace in the process. This is precisely why I believe that sharing one's knowledge with others is so essential – by doing so, we not only help ourselves but also empower those around us to find peace and happiness through their passion for cars.

**A Pitch for a Car Show**

Now, imagine attending a car show where, instead of simply admiring vehicles from afar, attendees can engage in lively discussions about the intricacies of performance, design, and history. That's what I envision – an immersive experience that combines education with entertainment, all centered around the world of cars.

**A Perfect Pitch**

If I were to pitch a car show idea, it would revolve around my own unique blend of passion, expertise, and storytelling. With a focus on hands-on demonstrations, engaging discussions, and expert insights, attendees would leave with a deeper understanding of the automotive world – and perhaps even inspire others to pursue their own automotive endeavors.

In conclusion, for those who share my enthusiasm for cars, I hope that this account has provided a glimpse into the wonderful world we inhabit. Whether you're an aspiring car enthusiast or simply someone looking for a new perspective on life, there's always room for growth – and I invite you to join me on this journey of discovery, creativity, and above all, passion!

so the reason I do that is cuz I don't want those chemicals going into me why would you it's all about health and safety and looking very low status I'm currently going to get around to working on both of my Range Rovers to make them work properly that's basically it at the moment I might also redo the Sopris it's 21st anniversary this year and I've been threatening to redo it forever and ever I'd like to make it electric and I like to drive across America and eventually going get a speed record back so I set the record 87 miles an hour and now I need to do about 120 just to just stop everybody else even bothering ever again to attend that record well if I did get tired of cars I've got a boat so I just go out on that and that's extremely relaxing and I normally have to come back and carry on feeling with the cars I'm too big to fit those things I don't I've never really ridden a motorbike for that reason cuz I just look stupid I feel like I'm a praying mantis on a moped that just didn't make any sense at all but I think really I mean there were lots and lots of cars but actually I'm not really so much into the sports car thing and of course that's the most of the cars
