Cryorig's Concept Mini-ITX Cases - Ola & Taku

Cry Rig's New Chassis: Ola and Taku

But believe it or not I'm actually not going to talk about any of these I actually have cry rig's H7 back at home uh it's become very popular it's only about $35 seems like a very nice say hyper 212 kind of replacement looks a little bit cleaner and uh I'm going to be testing that out very soon but uh let's you know what let's night talk about these cuz cry rig has some new chassis so this case is called the Ola just like in Spanish hello uh so this one is currently sporting kind of a a wood finish on the front they're making this to fit into a home theater environment and they were inspired a little bit by the Mac Pro now say what you will about the Mac Pro and Mac in general they do some pretty damn good design work so it would be nice if you could say build your own custom PC and something similar to that that's kind of what cow rig had in in mind so they made this chassis this is kind of the open version of it uh so you can see in the front fits a mini mini ITX motherboard at the top it has some ventilation there's 140 mm fan that will exhaust the air out the top very much in the similar way that the macro does below that we have space for a 3.5 in as well as a 2.5 in drive and then below that or behind that you have a standard sfx power supply so we'll accept those around on the back there's your full-size graphics card it's currently sporting a GTX 1080 so it should be able to support just about any GPU up to about 10.5 11 in which is very nice they've even taken some special uh considerations for say cable management for instance your I/O is going to be at the top right here they've put some special little hooks going down the side so you can WRA those at the bottom and give yourself a very clean experience especially if you're going to have this in a home theater environment they're saying this could work as a home theater I think that would work I think as a desktop too it would look pretty nice it's got a fairly small uh footprint being cylindrical of course and uh the nice thing is that it's they going to do it in a couple different finishes at least for starters it's still sort of in the design phases uh this probably isn't going to be coming out till maybe q1 or Q2 next year 2017 so guys leave some comments in the comment section let them know if you think this is a cool chassis and maybe if you have any ideas for them throw them their way maybe they'll Implement them since it's still under development

Cry Rig's New Chassis: The Ola

The Ola is Cry Rig's new chassis, designed to fit into home theater environments. As the name suggests, "Ola" means hello in Spanish, which reflects the company's approach to making their products accessible and user-friendly. The design of the Ola draws inspiration from Apple's Mac Pro, a machine known for its sleek and compact design. While it may not be an exact replica, the Ola offers a similar aesthetic with its cylindrical shape and wood finish on the front.

The Ola features a mini ITX motherboard at the top, which provides ample ventilation to keep the system cool. A 140mm fan exhausts air out the top, while below that, there's space for a 3.5-inch drive, a 2.5-inch drive, and a standard SFX power supply. This design allows users to easily access their drives and upgrade components as needed.

One of the standout features of the Ola is its cable management system. The company has implemented special hooks along the side of the case, allowing users to WRA (Wire Route And) cables at the bottom for a clean look. This attention to detail reflects Cry Rig's commitment to making their products user-friendly and easy to work with.

The Ola is designed to be versatile, suitable for both home theaters and desktop setups. Its compact size makes it ideal for small spaces, while its cylindrical shape provides a sleek and modern appearance. With several different finishes available, users can choose the one that best fits their needs and personal style. While the exact release date has not been confirmed, Cry Rig plans to launch the Ola by the end of this year or possibly early next year.

Cry Rig's New Chassis: The Taku

The Taku is another new chassis from Cry Rig, designed with a focus on compactness and portability. As its name suggests, "Taku" means desk in Japanese, reflecting the product's functionality as a desktop computer. This design allows users to easily access their keyboard, mouse, and monitor, making it ideal for small workspaces or home offices.

One of the key features of the Taku is its pop-up monitor arm, which allows users to quickly and easily switch between laptop and desktop modes. The power button is located at the top, providing easy access to turn the system on and off. Below that, there's space for a standard SFX power supply and a 3.5-inch drive.

The Taku also features a 140mm fan exhaust, which provides sufficient cooling for most systems. However, Cry Rig has not confirmed if this fan will be included in all configurations or if users can upgrade to higher-capacity fans. The design of the case is notable for its attention to detail, with special hooks and channels to keep cables organized.

The Taku's compact size makes it an excellent option for small workspaces or students who need a reliable desktop computer. With several different finishes available, users can choose the one that best suits their needs and personal style. Like the Ola, Cry Rig plans to launch the Taku in early 2018, although the exact release date has not been confirmed.

The future of Cry Rig's new chassis is promising, offering a range of options for users looking for compact and reliable desktop computers. As the company continues to innovate and improve their designs, fans of Cry Rig can look forward to exciting developments and products that meet their needs and exceed their expectations.

here look CPU coolers but believe it or not I'm actually not going to talk about any of these I actually have cry rig's H7 back at home uh it's become very popular it's only about $35 seems like a very nice say hyper 212 kind of replacement looks a little bit cleaner and uh I'm going to be testing that out very soon but uh let's you know what let's night talk about these cuz cry rig has some new chassis so this case is called the Ola just like in Spanish hello uh so this one is currently sporting kind of a a wood finish on the front they're making this to fit into a home theater environment and they were inspired a little bit by the Mac Pro now say what you will about the Mac Pro and Mac in general they do some pretty damn good design work so it would be nice if you could say build your own custom PC and something similar to that that's kind of what cow rig had in in mind so they made this chassis this is kind of the open version of it uh so you can see in the front fits a mini mini ITX motherboard at the top it has some ventilation there's 140 mm fan that will exhaust the air out the top very much in the similar way that the macro does below that we have space for a 3.5 in as well as a 2.5 in drive and then below that or behind that you have a standard sfx power supply so we'll accept those around on the back there's your full-size graphics card it's currently sporting a GTX 1080 so it should be able to support just about any GPU up to about 10.5 11 in which is very nice they've even taken some special uh considerations for say cable management for instance your I/O is going to be at the top right here they've put some special little hooks going down the side so you can WRA those at the bottom and give yourself a very clean experience especially if you're going to have this in a home theater environment they're saying this could work as a home theater I think that would work I think as a desktop too it would look pretty nice it's got a fairly small uh footprint being cylindrical of course and uh the nice thing is that it's they going to do it in a couple different finishes at least for starters it's still sort of in the design phases uh this probably isn't going to be coming out till maybe q1 or Q2 next year 2017 so guys leave some comments in the comment section let them know if you think this is a cool chassis and maybe if you have any ideas for them throw them their way maybe they'll Implement them since it's still under development there's one more over here and next is the taku which made me think of Taco which made me miss Mexican food since I'm in Taiwan Taiwan has delicious food but Mexican food's not really their Forte anyway I'm getting uh off topic here the taku is meant to be a desktop computer and it's also means desk in in Japanese taku so it looks like a little desk it has room to fit a full-size keyboard underneath and it can even pop a monitor up on top too which is pretty convenient power buttons right up front they're also going to be adding some IO of course since you are going to need some I/O plenty of ventilation up at top and you can also sort of push in on this thing it'll pop out like a little drawer and whereas this one is wired up so I can't pull it out too far you can sort of bring that all the way out so you can work on your system up here they have sort of a an open one so you can see how it's laid out inside so again Mini ITX for infactor they've got a riser card here for a graphics card right now I believe that's a nano in there but it looks like you got a decent amount of length for longer graphics cards as well over here you have a mount for 3.5 in and a 2.5 in drive again small or sfx power supply compatibility and again a very sort of Mac looking look I repeat it myself but I think it's pretty clean overall and for anyone who's looking for that really clean desk setup I know a lot of you guys out there into that this seems like a very viable option so the taku they're looking to possibly release by the end of this year or possibly q1 next year in 2017 but uh again let them know what you guys think in in the comments below cuz they're still looking for feedback on this one again this has been the Ola and the taku from cry rig thanks for watching this video guys one last shout out to my sponsors practical design G skill and MSI we'll see you guys in
