What's Up Guys: Saf here on SuperSaf TV! Today, we're going to take a closer look at the Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Helo, a smartphone that boasts an impressive 10 gigabytes of RAM. Yes, you heard that right - 10 gigabytes! What is happening to the world? As I mentioned earlier, this is the second version of the Black Shark series, so we'll be diving into its features and specs.
Let's start with the packaging. When we open the box, we're greeted by the Shark Logo on the left and right hand side. Inside the box, we find a bit of an intro card with some stickers on it. We can take that off straight away to reveal the device itself. The Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Helo is made of a combination of metal and glass, which feels quite premium in our hands. We also notice a nice pattern on the back of the glass, which looks pretty sleek.
Moving on, we have a look at what's inside the box. We find some paperwork, a USB type A to USB type C cable, a power brick that supports fast charging, and a 3.5 mm to USB type C converter - because the Black Shark 2 doesn't have a traditional 3.5 mm jack. There's also a SIM card ejector tool, which is always handy to have around. Additionally, we get a joy pad, which can be used for gaming purposes. However, if you opt for the absolute master version with 10 GB RAM, it comes with an extra right-hand joy stick as well.
The case that comes with the device allows us to attach this to the device via Bluetooth. The other version also comes with a right-hand side joy stick, which is pretty cool. As for me, I'm not sure how comfortable using just one joy pad on the left hand side would be. Now, let's take a closer look at the device itself. It feels quite premium in our hands, and we can see that it's made of a combination of metal and glass.
Up front, we have a 6-inch AMOLED display that looks pretty decent. The blacks are quite deep, and it's difficult to see the bezels due to the black theme. We also notice that there's no notch on this device. Moving around the phone, we find dual front-firing speakers along the top and bottom of the device, which is very important for gaming. There's also a front-facing camera with a 20-megapixel sensor and an F1.75 aperture.
If you move on to the back of the phone, we see the S logo that lights up, which can be easily changed in the settings. We've got a fingerprint scanner above the logo, which seems to work okay. There's also a dual camera setup with a primary 20-megapixel camera and a secondary 12-megapixel camera both featuring F1.75 apertures. The top of the phone features just a mic, while the bottom has a USB type C input.
The left and right hand sides of the phone feature RGB light panels that can be customized in the settings, which look pretty slick. Above the light panels on the right-hand side is where we find the power button and volume rocker. On the left-hand side above the light panel, there's a SIM card tray, followed by the Shark key - a physical hardware key that slides up to activate Shark mode.
Shark mode closes down all current applications and dedicates everything to gaming, which has been designed with gamers in mind. The device comes equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, up to 10 gigabytes of RAM, two liquid cooling partitions inside to keep the device cool during long gaming sessions, and a pretty large 4000 mAh battery - something you'd expect from a gaming smartphone.
Things are heating up in the gaming smartphone space with the ROG phone and RAZER Phone 2 already making waves. What do you guys think of the Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Helo? Definitely let me know in the comments below, and also let me know if there's any more coverage you'd like me to do on this device.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: en- What's up guys?Saf here on SuperSaf TV!This smartphone here hasup to 10 gigabytes of RAM.Ten Gigabytes!Like, really, 10 gigabytes! What is happening to the world?Of course it is theXiaomi Black Shark 2 Helo.I think that's the official name.Or it might just be Black Shark Helo. But it's the second version.I didn't actually checkout the first version. So this is going to bea new experience to me.It seems like a reallyinteresting gaming device.Let's have a look at it.So first up looking at the boxwe've got this Shark Logo here.Black Shark on the leftand right hand side.Let's open it up.You're gamer.Let's Shark. So we've got a bit ofan into card in here. There's the device with this sticker on.With some of the stuff on it.Let's just take that off straight away.Ooh!Fancy!Looks like we've got acombination of metal and glass. We'll leave that to the side for a second.See what else we get inside the box.So here's everythingwe get inside the box. There's some paperwork. There's a USB type A to USB type C cable. There's a power brick whichdoes support fast charging. And then we have a 3.5 mmto USB type C converter. And that is because the Black Shark 2does not have a 3.5 mm jack. There's a SIM card ejector tool. And then we've got this sort of joy padwhich we can use with thedevice for gaming of course. Now this version here comes with one.But if you do go for the absolute masterwith the full 10 GB RAMthen it's also going to comewith a right hand joy stick too.So you can have two joysticks on either side. And you can attach those tothe device using this case. And within the case packyou do get some stickersas well as a glass screen protector. Now here's the case where youcan kind of of attach this onto. But it's going to beconnecting via Bluetoothto the actual device.Of course the other version does comewith the right hand side one as well.Which will be pretty cool.I'm not sure how comfortable this will bewith just one joy padon the left hand side. Now let's have a lookat the device itself. It feels quite premium. We've got a combinationof metal and glass. It's got this sort of nice pattern herewith the back on the glass.Which does look pretty slick. And we've got loads ofgreen highlights everywhere. Now up front we do have asix inch AMOLED display.I believe the perviousversion was an LCD display. It looks pretty decent.Blacks are pretty deep. We've got this black theme. So it's actually quitedifficult to see the bezels. We do have top and bottom bezels. But we don't have a notch. So that might be somethingthat you're into. The left and right bezels are not too bad. It's got a full HD plus resolution.First impressions,it looks pretty decent, colors are vibrant and viewing anglesare not too bad either. Now looking around thedevice the first thingyou'll probably notice is the fact thatwe've got dual front-firing speakers. So there's one along the topand one along the bottom. So of course that's veryimportant to gaming. There is a front facing camera. This is 20 megapixelswith an F 1.75 aperture. Now if you move on to the back,we do have the S logo which lights up.So it currently it's green. And you can change thisquite easily in the settings. So you've got yellow, orange, red, pink, purple, a darker blue and also a sky blue.Above the logo is a fingerprint scannerwhich seems to work okay.Yep.Not too bad. There's a dual camera set up.The primary camera is 20 megapixels.A secondary camera is 12 megapixels. The primary camera has an F 1.75 aperture. We'll see how the cameras are.I'll take a few pictures.I'm not kind of ofexpecting anything crazy. At the top there's justa mic and on the bottomthere is a USB type C input. But things do get interestingon the left and right hand sides. In the middle we havethese RGB light panelswhich you can customize in the settings. So for boot up, incomingcalls, notifications et cetera. They do look pretty slick. Now above the light panelson the right hand sideyou do have a power buttonand a volume rocker. On the left hand sideabove the light panelthere's a SIM card tray. But then we also have this Shark key.So this is actually aphysical hardware keywhich we can slide up and that'sgoing to activate Shark mode. What Shark mode basically doesas you can see hereis it's going to close downall current applicationsand it's going to dedicateeverything to gaming. So of course it has beendesigned with gamers in mindand that's reflected in the specs as well.It does have the QualcommSnapdragon 845 processorwith up to 10 gigabytes of RAM.So the base version in goingto have six gigabytes of RAMbut you can get up to 10.It also has two liquidcooling partitions insideso that should keep your device coolduring long gaming sessions. And it's also got a prettylarge four thousand Mh battery.A size which you would probably expectfor a gaming device. And things are really heating upin the gaming smart phone space. We've got the ROG phone. We've also got the RAZER Phone 2.What do you guys think ofXiaomi Black Shark 2 Helo?Definitely let me knowin the comments below. And also let me know ifthere's any more coverageyou'd like me to do with this.I hope you enjoyed thisvideo and found it
