Monoprice Monolith headphones and speakers at CEDIA

Caleb Dennison with Digital Trends: A Preview of the CEDIA Media Show Floor

As I walked through the crowded room, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and wonder. The CEDIA media show floor is always a treasure trove of innovative products and cutting-edge technology, and this year was no exception. I found myself pacing around, wondering if I would stumble upon something truly remarkable.

That's when I saw them - Mono Price. A company that has long been known for its great accessory selection at affordable prices, Mono Price is now expanding into the audio market with some truly impressive products. Let me show you what I've got here.

The first product on display was a new tube headphone amp from Mono Price. With a 2496 kHz DAC built right in and Bluetooth 4.0, this amp promises to deliver warm and rich sound quality. The best part? It's priced at just $139, making it an affordable addition to any home audio system. I'm also impressed by the fact that it comes with a quarter-inch jack, allowing for easy integration with existing equipment.

But what really caught my eye was the planar magnetic headphones from Mono Price. These babies are not only stylish but also feature removable wooden exteriors, giving you the flexibility to choose between open-back or closed-back designs. The ear cups themselves are also incredibly robust, with strong magnets that allow for smooth sound reproduction. And the best part? They're priced at just $200 - a fraction of what you'd expect from a product of this caliber.

Of course, Mono Price isn't resting on its laurels. The company is now diving headfirst into the world of home theater, and it's clear that they're committed to producing high-quality products. I spotted an air motion Tweeter that's part of their new Monolith line, which promises to deliver exceptionally low frequencies. With a 5-inch driver at the bottom of the cabinet, this speaker is sure to be a showstopper.

But what really sets Mono Price apart from its competitors is its commitment to innovation and value. The company's recent foray into high-performance speakers has resulted in products that rival those from more established brands - all at a fraction of the cost. I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement as I explored their booth, wondering what other surprises they had up their sleeve.

As I continued to explore the show floor, I came across another Mono Price product that caught my eye. This was the Monolith KBase Reference Series bookshelf speaker, which promises to deliver sound quality that's simply out of this world. With an inverted midwoofer and Tweeter design, these speakers are sure to be a hit with audiophiles. And at $400 for a pair - or $200 each - they're an absolute steal.

But Mono Price isn't just about individual products; it's also about creating an entire ecosystem of audio equipment that works seamlessly together. That's why I spotted the Monolith 7-Channel power amplifier, which promises to deliver incredible sound quality and ease of use. With its sleek design and robust construction, this amp is sure to be a showstopper at any home theater setup.

As I wrap up my tour of the Mono Price booth, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement about what the future holds for this company. With their commitment to innovation and value, they're poised to disrupt the audio market in a big way. Whether you're an audiophile or just looking for high-quality home audio equipment at affordable prices, Mono Price is definitely worth keeping an eye on.

And that's not all - as I mentioned earlier, I'm headed back to Mono Price's booth later in the show to get my hands on some of these products and put them through their paces. Stay tuned for my review of these incredible audio products, and don't forget to check out Mono Price's website for more information on their latest offerings.

In conclusion, my visit to the CEDIA media show floor was a wild ride filled with excitement and discovery. From innovative products like Mono Price's tube headphone amp to high-end home theater equipment like the Monolith KBase Reference Series bookshelf speaker, there's no shortage of great things to explore. Whether you're an audio enthusiast or just looking for reliable home audio equipment, Mono Price is definitely worth considering.

As I left the show floor, I couldn't help but feel a sense of wonder about what the future holds for this company. With their commitment to innovation and value, they're poised to take on some of the biggest names in the audio market. And with products like these - $139 tube headphone amp, $200 planar magnetic headphones, $400 bookshelf speakers - it's clear that Mono Price is on a mission to revolutionize the way we listen to music.

I'm excited to see what the future holds for this company and their incredible range of audio products.
