We're Going to Be Doing a Motorcycle Inside Car Event A Trial Now

The event is going to be done with a motorcycle inside car, and I've done trials before with Johnny in a beetle. We got away with it and it was brilliant. We finished and now look what we have to do it in. Tiff is driving which let's face it puts the fear of God into me. We are MPC and sell mainly eural motorbikes and side cars at the moment in stock. We've got one Chang Jang which is this one over here, which is a Chinese side valve.

We've also got a couple of Daeper outfits, which are 650 kickstarts, and the rest of them are mainly eural 750 outfits. So you paint them up yourself, they come in factory spec bug standard, Factory issue choice of camouflage NATO camouflage desert camouflage or winter's quite though this one is Winter's quite, I've thought about seeing with this big third wheel. It's virtually like a car, it's not going to fall over, is it? Oh yes, it will either nose tip or side clip nose tip or I was afraid you were going to say this how do we stop that happening then what you need is a good passenger the monkey and a good driver.

Well we got one of those, does the brake work the other wheel it does but not very effectively. The main thing to think about is that in order to turn right on this you need to have lost all of your speed before the turn yeah so that you can progressively accelerate around the chair wheel now what we don't use on side cars are brakes oh you got drag baby brakes are only there for the Emergency jumping out of it to me is best just to sort of clear this wheel and then I'm all right. What jumping out of it but if you're heading towards a fraking tree I'm I need you to steer away from the tree if you jump out I'm in the tree what you need but I won't be as as the monkey what you need to be doing is using your weight to assist him yeah if you think of the motorbike and psyai it's got what we call tip over lines imagine the triangle between the front wheel the back wheel and the side car wheel anything inside that triangle is safe weight as soon as you move outside that triangle it becomes unsafe weight.

Yeah you may well find that at some on some of the trials keeping one foot there one foot here and sort of doing this oh you'll be doing a lot of that yeah and what you don't want to be doing is is violently Chu in because you will you will throw him away all over the place I'm going into a land of the unknown I have no idea it wasn't for Mick sitting there i' would probably already be eating dust I just want to go faster but it's not really designed for just going faster have to respect it otherwise you end up back on the dng ground again away throw it down I can't throw it down it's still too late I'm back that's practice

It's the morning of the race the weather is holding I'm feeling quite positive Tiff on the other hand is bricking himself I find that quite amusing thing yeah but it doesn't count cuz the first two things have been cancelled it must been Rewritten against us there surely no I don't know how to get to lmar we spoke to an or offish how do we get the first stage of it's been canell we got lost just getting from the section you better FL what did I say get around like that Ling give him another we failed very quickly perhaps within 2 feet then I had to push it out n can't steer it two wheel drive you can't steer it you can't if go slow enough can't can't change gear by lifting up with it so you can't change gear to okay who glorious failure basically on the last section a we got bit stuck spinning trying and stuff and it looks like the clut has just gone bang so we got no drive it's not a matter of having not enough grip we actually can't get the drive to the wheels which means that we're a bit stuffed is it
