stepping on the gas but what we found was this car really needs maintenance radiator is old hoses are bad the auto body is giving us a problem that's one of the codes the exhaust is picked away the piping is gone too let's check out the rest of the car are these Chicago rotors cuz they're Rusty as suspension is coming out as you can see is we have leakage I'm going to leave it for for Justin to have fun with the suspension since he likes Subaru you guys are going to have fun on this car all right so now it's day two sandre what did you take care of yesterday brakes rotors drums radiator we tore down the exhaust this bad boy has a lot of rust so we're bringing it back the best we can you know we've got to get this all done today so to make sure we complete it in time I brought in some but what we're finding is even the easy parts are turning into a challenge to install because of all the rust it's it's just too rusty one down so what I'm working on right now is removing the stock tow hooks and I'm replacing it with this bracket right here and this bracket holds our fancy danty rally Innovations bash bar so what this is going to do is not only give her some extra protection while she's off-roading but it's also going to give her somewhere to mount after market lights so that she see if she's driving at night while out and about adventuring it's really easy to bolt in the only problem is getting rid of all this rust to get there so I got some work to do all right next up is wheels and tires what we're doing is we're installing these hand cooked Diner Pros on these 15 by7 off-road wheels these bad boys are going on since these are new Wheels they do not have a valve on we need to put that we need to put that on and let me just we're good to go so now this we want to push the lower part to be right around where the valve stem is just cuz if you do have TPMS sensors you want to be very careful not to damage them but this doesn't have those sensors cuz is an old ass Subaru I'm sorry I'm sorry Christina and Justin bam there we go so now we want to try and do is fill it up with air that way the tire beads naturally this guy might need a little bit of help and what is that that is a cheetah it has pressurized air and it basically will try and force the tire to be now I I'm a little dude me carrying this with the pressure it uses that is not a good idea so are going to take off these lower bolts everyone starts off at the top cuz it's easy to get you don't cuz then once you start at the top you loosen them up take these bottom ones off strut will fall so we're going to do things the right way like butter bam it's out there you go oh look at what they did had hat hold on I got to dodge all this stuff yeah we got yep there we go yeah buddy we going to do the other side you can go up there you go okay those are on yay all right so since these struts are technically longer than the stock ones they're hanging a little lower than the knuckle Mount so what we need to do is compress it somehow or bring this down some more and then push them in and get one of these bolts in so if I do this you get that lined up and then I'll P pull down ready yeah I want to bash your head almost there yep right there right there slide it through there you go bam struts are on we'll worry about the alignment later all right so now that the front suspension is complete we can finish the whole front off with this sick aluminum skid plate what does the skid plate do well it protects the underbody of your engine while you're off-roading let's put it on might need to pull the bumper off this is supposed to just sit here yeah and then these bolts go here uh that would do it y okay let see so to make this skid plate a little bit friendlier with everything we have going up front I'm just going to trim off some of the corner cuz we can reach these bolt holes it's just we have to slide it under a bunch of stuff so not that it doesn't fit it does fit we're just lazy easy perfect yeah let get play officially on all right it's 300 p.m. Christina gets here at 6:00 p.m. we have 3 hours left and we're still working on the bottom of the car we're almost done with the suspension we've got the lateral arms and the drop links on this side we need to do it on the other side pull these struts out put the new struts in and then we still have to do the interior
