iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max: The Latest Developments and Features
The iPhone 15 pro and pro Max have been making waves in the tech world, with several exciting features that are sure to impress. One of the most significant updates is the USB-C port, which has been upgraded to a USB 3 port. This means that users will be able to enjoy faster transfer speeds, up to 10 gigabytes per second, making it ideal for transferring large files such as raw photos and videos.
The camera capabilities on these new iPhones are also noteworthy. The 48-megapixel camera is capable of taking stunning images, but this comes with a price - storage space. With the ability to take raw photos and videos, storage can quickly become an issue. However, with the USB-C port, users will be able to transfer files much more efficiently using a USB-C cable from their iPhone to their iPad. This feature is sure to delight photographers and videographers who often rely on Airdrop for file transfers.
Another exciting development is the introduction of spatial video. This technology allows for the creation of 3D-like videos that can be relived like a memory. The Vision Pro, which is rumored to release later this year, is said to have similar capabilities. While we won't know what it's truly capable of until we get our hands on it, the idea of being able to record and view spatial video in stunning detail is sure to excite.
In terms of color choices, the iPhone 15 pro and pro Max come in four different shades: a light gray, a dark gray, a silver, and a white. While they may not look drastically different from one another, these colors are still a welcome addition to Apple's design palette.
The pricing structure for these new iPhones is as follows: the regular iPhone 15 starts at $999 with 128GB of storage, while the 15 Pro starts at $1,099 with 256GB of storage. This represents an increase of $100 compared to last year's model. The 15 Pro Max, however, starts at $1,299 with 256GB of storage.
Availability and Upgrades
These new iPhones will be available for pre-order on Friday and will hit stores next Friday. For those looking to upgrade from their current iPhone or Apple Watch, the choice is clear: the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus offer a nearly identical experience to the Pro models, but at a more affordable price point. Whether you're upgrading from an iPhone 13 Pro Max to one of these new devices remains to be seen.
The Future of Apple Devices
While the iPhone 15 pro and pro Max are certainly exciting, it's hard not to feel that there's been relatively little innovation in recent years compared to previous models. The series 9 Apple Watch Ultra, which is rumored to release soon, will likely be the first major upgrade for many users. However, even if you're upgrading from an iPhone 14 or 14 Pro, the improvements on offer with these new iPhones are not dramatic enough to warrant a purchase.
Ultimately, the decision to upgrade will depend on individual needs and preferences. For those looking for a fast, capable device with impressive camera capabilities, the iPhone 15 pro and pro Max are certainly worth considering. However, for those who already have an iPhone or Apple Watch, it may be more sensible to hold out for further updates.
Conclusion
The iPhone 15 pro and pro Max offer several exciting features that are sure to delight fans of these devices. From faster transfer speeds to improved camera capabilities and spatial video, there's plenty to get excited about. However, the pricing structure is higher than last year's models, which may deter some potential buyers. Whether you're upgrading from an old iPhone or Apple Watch remains to be seen.
"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enokay everybody Apple's event wonderlust is officially over and they kind of went over everything that they were going to release over the next couple days and weeks so in this video Let's recap everything talk about my overall thoughts my Impressions what I recommend if I recommend that you upgrade some of your devices let's get into it and leave some questions down in the comments below let's get into it order of how Apple really spoke about all their devices all their Hardware all their software but what I will say is that it seemed like there was a big theme that encompassed the entire event whether that's because they wanted to fill in some gaps in terms of what was new because they didn't have enough that was new or they are actually putting a big step forward in their environmental pursuit to make sure that they are carbon neutral in 2030 but it seemed like for better for worse they spent a lot of time talking about that on a per device basis and then also as a company holistically they had a nice little skit in there which I honestly I enjoyed that skit they're probably putting those Apple TV employees to work by saying hey let's make it a much better representation and not just kind of list out a bunch of things that they're doing on the recycling side and on the environmental front but let's actually make it a little bit more appealing a little bit more watchable and at the end of the day just a little bit more funny and engageable I guess is the word when it comes to those environmental kind of thresholds and initiatives so the first thing I talked about was the Apple Watch series 9. so when it comes to the Apple Watch series 9 this is a very incremental update compared to the series 8 and even probably to the show Series 7 and Series 6 it's still going to be the same size and form factor that we've had over the last couple years Apple watches aren't something that you upgrade every single year unless you really want to or really need to but I for instance had this first original Apple watch which is a series zero then the series 5 and then the Apple watch Ultra but with the series 9 they did update the actual internals they're giving us the S9 chip which does a little bit more power a little bit more efficiency and just overall it's going to be a little bit more future proof moving forward and it will get more of those apple watch 10 and moving forward updates when it comes to watch OS and then another thing that's kind of iffy with this series 9 is that we don't really know how much of it is an actual Hardware kind of upgrade or something that could be just upgraded via software for older Apple watches like the Apple Watch series 8 series 7 and even the original Apple watch Ultra because as of right now when we're seeing exactly what Apple's doing is the series 9 it just has a much brighter screen so their Peak brightness is going to be 2 000 nits which is an upgrade from the year before but then everything after that seems to be very software based they did show off a new gesture protocol which allows you to kind of kind of hang up a phone call or pause and play music by using your fingers to tap and kind of learn those gestures based on accelerometers they did mention that it is using the S9 chip kind of efficiency to get that done and the power to get that done but I have two things to say about that first off I think apple is kind of teaching the consumer the behavior of interacting with the Vision Pro early on because they don't want consumers to buy a 3 500 machine or 3 500 Vision Pro headset and then not really understand what to do with their hands and how to navigate it via these kind of point-and-click controls that you will be doing with the Vision Pro so Apple thought to themselves let's start to teach people how to do this early on with something that's more accessible light the Apple watch and bringing that over to kind of teach people early on to not be confused when they actually get their Vision Pro but secondly when it comes to these gesture based controls I've seen over the last couple years that some of this is actually possible already through your accessibility settings so we'll probably have a whole video explaining that moving forward but just know that if you go into your accessibility settings you can actually set up gesture based controls on your Apple watch using the same Excel thermometer and using the same engine inside of your Apple watch whether it is the series 9 or the 8 or the 7 or an Apple Watch Ultra accessibility settings allow you to do that already to an extent we don't know if it's a one-to-one situation but just know that even though Apple might have mentioned that it is a hardware based upgrade for the S9 on the series 9. I think you can actually do a lot of that stuff through the accessibility settings on any of your Apple watches they also showed off a new kind of find my feature with the Apple watch and the iPhone so I'm a big user of that kind of find your Apple watch where you swipe up and you press it to make your iPhone make a sound but now you guys should get that same kind of animation and UI that you do when you're using find my to find your airpods pro Gen 2 or to use something that already has an air tag in it so kind of those Precision navigation features to find your iPhone which is a welcome feature but again I don't know if it's a hardware specific feature or if that can be done with software on other Apple watches they talked about some more advanced Fitness tracking features for cyclists and for runners they also talked about a little bit better homepod integration which is always great to see but again that's all software based and that is pretty much all we got it did come in a bunch of colors there is that new kind of Rosy pink color that came out you have the product red color and then everything in between and then you also have your new higher end stainless steel colors which I'll kind of show on the screen right now but overall a very minimal upgrade and again I'm not sure what is an actual Hardware difference versus a software difference which we will get with watch OS 10. and when it comes to Apple watch Ultra 2 it's kind of the same story as a series 9. we did get a brighter display so now we get to 3 000 nits of brightness so you should be able to see this Apple watch Ultra in any sort of conditions whether it's the hottest Arizona kind of desert day or again one of the colder darkest nights that we've ever seen so you'll be able to see this Apple watch in any lighting situation which with my Apple watch right here I haven't had an issue seeing it in any kind of weather situation but hey I'll take the extra brightness where it is found and when it's needed but it's getting a lot of the same features as series 9 got right so it's got that find my feature to find your iPhone it does have the new S9 chip in there for better power and efficiency and performance boosting you do get a new brighter flashlight if you guys use a flashlight app on your Apple watch Ultra you do get a little bit of a battery boost so it's still the same 36 hours of battery life on a regular kind of charge but I believe last year's Apple watch with Apple watch Ultra one the low battery mode gave you 60 hours and believe this one gives you 72 hours correct me if I'm wrong in the comments below please but I do believe low power mode gets you an extra 12 hours of battery life overall and of course you are getting those gesture based controls that Apple did tell with the series 9. let's see exactly what that means moving forward but that is what you get with the Apple watch Ultra there's no new colors there's a bunch of new band colors if you do kind of check those out and apple did the same thing for the series 9. if you have an Apple Watch Ultra right now I don't see a reason to upgrade same thing goes if you have a series 8 or even a series 7 or even a Series 6 for that matter if you have you're happy with your Apple watch and you it's still running fast enough for you there's no real reason to upgrade right now especially if we can find those gesture based controls through the accessibility changes and then when it comes to pricing for these Apple watches Apple's still keeping their Apple watch SE at 279 dollars to start their Apple Watch series 9 is going to be 3.99 and then their Apple watch Ultra is going to be 7.99 so no price changes at all for these Apple watches and you you can actually start to pre-order them right now and I believe they deliver at the end of the week on Friday but I'll double check that but you can actually pre-order them right now and they will be available in store on Friday let's see if we actually get those pre-orders in immediately so now let's get into the bread and butter this presentation which was the actual iPhone so the iPhone 15 regular lineup for lack of a better term was for me actually what stole this show and I got a lot more upgrades than I anticipated so it looks like apple pretty much brought all the pro features that made the iPhone 14 pro Max and pro pro and brought it all the way down to the iPhone 15 models and made those kind of like the regular you know everyday model iPhones now which is great so you can see clearly the Apple did bring the dynamic Island down to the iPhone 15 and 15 plus I do want to see how it is with a 60hz display because Apple supposedly is keeping it at 60 hertz we'll double check in the actual specs of the device itself but it looks like the dynamic Island on the iPhone 15 and 15 plus will still be at 60 hertz and not the pro motion 120. I'm worried it's going to hurt the fluidity of those animations that Apple's kind of worked so hard on on the pro models of last year but let's see exactly how that that translates on a kind of lesser screen overall but they also brought over the a16 bionic for the internal performance so performance is going to be identical to the 14 pro and 14 pro Max which is kind of unheard of I really thought Apple was going to wait a little while longer before bringing Dynamic Island and bringing some of these other features because they also brought over the 48 megapixel main shooter to the iPhone 15 and 15 plus which is again amazing they went from a 12 megapixel to now the 48 megapixel camera so that does give you now technically three focal lengths even though it is just two sensors you're gonna have your ultrawide you can have your 1X and then you're gonna have your 2X and your 2x is just going to be a crop the middle image of that 48 megapixel camera so it's going to be a 12 megapixel shot but technically it is an optical zoom even though it is just cropping in virtually so it eats their own but it is three technically three different focal lengths and then of course Apple's bringing USBC to all iPhones now the iPhone 15 lineup does get the regular USBC and I believe it's at 2.0 speeds so it's not going to be the fastest transfer speeds you're not going to get that 10 gig speed which the pros do get which we'll touch on a little bit but USBC nonetheless which will help out when it comes to connectivity charging being able to charge your airpods as well so if the airpods pro Gen 2 will now come with a USBC case and technically you can plug in a USBC cable to your iPhone to then charge your airpods pro if you are in a pickle which is always great to have so another kind of new thing that Apple's gonna have to deal with USBC some other things to take note of with iPhone 15 is that now the screen is much brighter we do get to about 2 000 nits of brightness on the 15 and 15 plus we also have the ability to Now record in 4k60 in HDR which was something we couldn't do last year so also a nice little upgrade in the camera system we get a new 5G Ultra wide band so it's going to be faster and more readily available 5G supposedly so let's see exactly what that means in real world life examples but overall like I said a very nice update for the iPhone 15 and 15 plus and now these iPhones do start at 128 gigs at 7.99 for the 15 and 8.99 for the 15 plus we can pre-order them on Friday and they should be readily available next Friday so about 10 days from now and then lastly in terms of colors we are getting a bunch of new colorways it's kind of more of a pastel color look and Easter look for lack of a better term we're getting a pink a yellow a blue a green and then a black honestly the blue and the black to me look the best the black kind of has this two-tone look to it kind of like a matte black and then a shiny black but those are the colors you're going to have to deal with when it comes to iPhone 15. and now let's get into this iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max because this is the one that I was personally waiting for the most so now the iPhone 15 pro and pro Max are gonna be pretty much the same overall but there's gonna be one main difference it's gonna be their third camera the iPhone 15 Pro Max is gonna have their 5x it's technically a periscope lens but they didn't call it that but it's a 5x telephoto lens and the iPhone 15 Pro does not have that it's gonna have the regular 3x telephoto lens but outside of that they're going to be exactly the same so these new ones have an a17 Pro chip which is a new three nanometer process so 19 billion transistors uh basically what it means is performance is going to be better overall but probably 20 to 40 better performance in terms of CPU and GPU the performance should give us better battery life even though Apple just keeps saying it's gonna be all day battery life across the board on all these iPhones let's see if that's going to be a resounding yes overall but the iPhone 15 pro and pro Max is going to be made out of this new titanium brush finish they call it a grade 5 titanium which is you know whatever the titanium they use to make it to Mars and things like that my iPhone won't be needing that but it is nice to know that it is a very strong iPhone it's going to be resistant to Long drops and heavy drops so I know I don't know I might go caseless this year with iPhone 15 Pro Max let's see exactly how it goes so from a hardware standpoint it stayed relatively the same obviously the finishes are nicer the bezels are a little bit Slimmer it does have a nice curvature to it so it's no longer kind of like a harsh 90 degree angle on the sides and the railings the one thing that they did change visually at least and some people might not even notice this is that they finally got rid of the mute switch and I don't know why I said finally because it's not like I wanted to get rid of it but they've got rid of the mute switch that mute switch has been around since the original iPhone and that mute switch is now turned into an action button so that action button is going to be remappable to a few different Native Apple applications but the best one is gonna be ability to actually use shortcuts through your action button so first when Apple said it was going to be just a few native apps it people thought it was going to be not remappable to a lot of things so it's gonna be kind of restrictive but the fact that you can kind of add it to a shortcut means that pretty much anything is possible so if you have a shortcut you know to unlock your door or shortcut to turn on the AC or shortcut to turn on all your lights in your office or shortcut to open the front or the trunk of your Tesla pressing the action button can be mapped to that and it can now be your actual physical button to get that shortcut activated and get it done so I think this is going to open up a brand new book and just a lot of content is going to be coming out on one of the best ways and some of the coolest things you can do with that remappable button but outside of that obviously you can do a flashlight make your camera shutter turn on a voice memo immediately so it is going to be a nice added feature and a nice little Hardware upgrade overall by default it still will be a mute switch so it's still going to be able to mute your phone and go from vibrate to mute that's the default setting but you can change it after the fact with iOS 17. and then some other things to take note of when the iPhone 15 pro and pro Max is that the USB C Port is actually a USB 3 Port so what that means is we get up to 10 gigs of transfer speed which I think is a must with the pro Max because you do have the ability to take a bunch of Raw photos and raw video files which take up a lot of storage you can record them prores now you get the 4K 60 HDR you know you those Raw photos using the 48 megapixel camera take up a lot of storage and take it up quickly being able to plug in a USBC cable from your iPhone maybe to your iPad and then transferring everything to your iPad very quickly is going to be very nice and it's going to be an upgrade to people like myself who use airdrop to transfer those types of videos and the one thing that they also showed with the camera setup is that now you're able to take spatial video which is going to be very interesting again this is going to have to do with the Vision Pro and spatial video is supposed to be this lifelike almost 3D rendering type of video kind of a portrait mode where you see there's a big depth effect so you can kind of relive moments technically and the vision approach is going to have that same capability and that same feature but now being able to record it on your iPhone 15 pro and pro Max and then view it on your vision Pro should be a cool kind of idea in transition I'm excited to see what the Vision Pro is going to feel like and look like and actually be like but that's something that we're not going to be able to really test until we actually get our hands on a Vision Pro later next year and then in terms of color choices you get four color choices they are kind of just different Shades of Gray for the most part but you do get like a white one you get a silver one you get a bluish Hue and then you also get black but again they all kind of just look like light gray all the way to dark gray if you really start to look at them too much but that is what the pro model comes in terms of colorway and the pricing structure is a little bit different right the pricing structure is for the regular 15 Pro it starts at 9.99 and you get 128 gigs but then with the 15 Pro Max it actually starts at 11.99 which is 100 more than last year but it defaults at 256 gigs of storage so at least you're starting at 256 of storage but you are starting a little bit higher price but the 15 Pro if you don't want to spend that extra money you can go with the thousand dollar 15 Pro with 128 gigs and that's what you're dealing with and same thing for these These are going to be ready for pre-order on Friday and they'll be available available next Friday for purchasing in store or hopefully when we get them in the studio that is pretty much going to do it for this video everybody like you saw nothing too crazy nothing too standouty we got a lot of these rumors already we kind of knew what to expect you know series 9 Apple watch Ultra 2 very small updates if any at all I do not recommend upgrading them if you already have an Apple Watch Ultra or a series 8 unless you know you really want to get the series 9 for I don't know the better brightness and maybe the gesture controls but who knows if that's again that's a hardware or software limitation I think the story here is iPhone 15 lineup not the 15 pro and pro Max even though those are great and very cool there's a lot of features for that you get for your money with the 15 and the 15 plus so if you're just walking into your carrier store and you want the latest and greatest you're going to get pretty much 99 of the experience that you're gonna get with the pro and pro Max and that could not be said with last year's lineup of iPhone 14 versus 14 pro but let me know with a comment down below if you're gonna get any of these are you upgrading your current iPhone or Apple watch if you are upgrading what are you upgrading from so I'm going to be going from a 13 Pro Max to a 15 Pro Max so let's see if that upgrade is going to be worth the money itself but like I said leave a comment down below if you made it to the end leave a little dolphin as well in the comments down below but that's gonna do for this video Stay subscribed we got a lot of content coming out about this stuff but if you guys want to watch more iOS iPad Os or Mac OS videos click on one of these right here and until next time I'm Fernando I'm out of here everybody peaceokay everybody Apple's event wonderlust is officially over and they kind of went over everything that they were going to release over the next couple days and weeks so in this video Let's recap everything talk about my overall thoughts my Impressions what I recommend if I recommend that you upgrade some of your devices let's get into it and leave some questions down in the comments below let's get into it order of how Apple really spoke about all their devices all their Hardware all their software but what I will say is that it seemed like there was a big theme that encompassed the entire event whether that's because they wanted to fill in some gaps in terms of what was new because they didn't have enough that was new or they are actually putting a big step forward in their environmental pursuit to make sure that they are carbon neutral in 2030 but it seemed like for better for worse they spent a lot of time talking about that on a per device basis and then also as a company holistically they had a nice little skit in there which I honestly I enjoyed that skit they're probably putting those Apple TV employees to work by saying hey let's make it a much better representation and not just kind of list out a bunch of things that they're doing on the recycling side and on the environmental front but let's actually make it a little bit more appealing a little bit more watchable and at the end of the day just a little bit more funny and engageable I guess is the word when it comes to those environmental kind of thresholds and initiatives so the first thing I talked about was the Apple Watch series 9. so when it comes to the Apple Watch series 9 this is a very incremental update compared to the series 8 and even probably to the show Series 7 and Series 6 it's still going to be the same size and form factor that we've had over the last couple years Apple watches aren't something that you upgrade every single year unless you really want to or really need to but I for instance had this first original Apple watch which is a series zero then the series 5 and then the Apple watch Ultra but with the series 9 they did update the actual internals they're giving us the S9 chip which does a little bit more power a little bit more efficiency and just overall it's going to be a little bit more future proof moving forward and it will get more of those apple watch 10 and moving forward updates when it comes to watch OS and then another thing that's kind of iffy with this series 9 is that we don't really know how much of it is an actual Hardware kind of upgrade or something that could be just upgraded via software for older Apple watches like the Apple Watch series 8 series 7 and even the original Apple watch Ultra because as of right now when we're seeing exactly what Apple's doing is the series 9 it just has a much brighter screen so their Peak brightness is going to be 2 000 nits which is an upgrade from the year before but then everything after that seems to be very software based they did show off a new gesture protocol which allows you to kind of kind of hang up a phone call or pause and play music by using your fingers to tap and kind of learn those gestures based on accelerometers they did mention that it is using the S9 chip kind of efficiency to get that done and the power to get that done but I have two things to say about that first off I think apple is kind of teaching the consumer the behavior of interacting with the Vision Pro early on because they don't want consumers to buy a 3 500 machine or 3 500 Vision Pro headset and then not really understand what to do with their hands and how to navigate it via these kind of point-and-click controls that you will be doing with the Vision Pro so Apple thought to themselves let's start to teach people how to do this early on with something that's more accessible light the Apple watch and bringing that over to kind of teach people early on to not be confused when they actually get their Vision Pro but secondly when it comes to these gesture based controls I've seen over the last couple years that some of this is actually possible already through your accessibility settings so we'll probably have a whole video explaining that moving forward but just know that if you go into your accessibility settings you can actually set up gesture based controls on your Apple watch using the same Excel thermometer and using the same engine inside of your Apple watch whether it is the series 9 or the 8 or the 7 or an Apple Watch Ultra accessibility settings allow you to do that already to an extent we don't know if it's a one-to-one situation but just know that even though Apple might have mentioned that it is a hardware based upgrade for the S9 on the series 9. Gen 2 will now come with a USBC case and technically you can plug in a USBC cable to your iPhone to then charge your airpods pro if you are in a pickle which is always great to have so another kind of new thing that Apple's gonna have to deal with USBC some other things to take note of with iPhone 15 is that now the screen is much brighter we do get to about 2 000 nits of brightness on the 15 and 15 plus we also have the ability to Now record in 4k60 in HDR which was something we couldn't do last year so also a nice little upgrade in the camera system we get a new 5G Ultra wide band so it's going to be faster and more readily available 5G supposedly so let's see exactly what that means in real world life examples but overall like I said a very nice update for the iPhone 15 and 15 plus and now these iPhones do start at 128 gigs at 7.99 for the 15 and 8.99 for the 15 plus we can pre-order them on Friday and they should be readily available next Friday so about 10 days from now and then lastly in terms of colors we are getting a bunch of new colorways it's kind of more of a pastel color look and Easter look for lack of a better term we're getting a pink a yellow a blue a green and then a black honestly the blue and the black to me look the best the black kind of has this two-tone look to it kind of like a matte black and then a shiny black but those are the colors you're going to have to deal with when it comes to iPhone 15. and now let's get into this iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max because this is the one that I was personally waiting for the most so now the iPhone 15 pro and pro Max are gonna be pretty much the same overall but there's gonna be one main difference it's gonna be their third camera the iPhone 15 Pro Max is gonna have their 5x it's technically a periscope lens but they didn't call it that but it's a 5x telephoto lens and the iPhone 15 Pro does not have that it's gonna have the regular 3x telephoto lens but outside of that they're going to be exactly the same so these new ones have an a17 Pro chip which is a new three nanometer process so 19 billion transistors uh basically what it means is performance is going to be better overall but probably 20 to 40 better performance in terms of CPU and GPU the performance should give us better battery life even though Apple just keeps saying it's gonna be all day battery life across the board on all these iPhones let's see if that's going to be a resounding yes overall but the iPhone 15 pro and pro Max is going to be made out of this new titanium brush finish they call it a grade 5 titanium which is you know whatever the titanium they use to make it to Mars and things like that my iPhone won't be needing that but it is nice to know that it is a very strong iPhone it's going to be resistant to Long drops and heavy drops so I know I don't know I might go caseless this year with iPhone 15 Pro Max let's see exactly how it goes so from a hardware standpoint it stayed relatively the same obviously the finishes are nicer the bezels are a little bit Slimmer it does have a nice curvature to it so it's no longer kind of like a harsh 90 degree angle on the sides and the railings the one thing that they did change visually at least and some people might not even notice this is that they finally got rid of the mute switch and I don't know why I said finally because it's not like I wanted to get rid of it but they've got rid of the mute switch that mute switch has been around since the original iPhone and that mute switch is now turned into an action button so that action button is going to be remappable to a few different Native Apple applications but the best one is gonna be ability to actually use shortcuts through your action button so first when Apple said it was going to be just a few native apps it people thought it was going to be not remappable to a lot of things so it's gonna be kind of restrictive but the fact that you can kind of add it to a shortcut means that pretty much anything is possible so if you have a shortcut you know to unlock your door or shortcut to turn on the AC or shortcut to turn on all your lights in your office or shortcut to open the front or the trunk of your Tesla pressing the action button can be mapped to that and it can now be your actual physical button to get that shortcut activated and get it done so I think this is going to open up a brand new book and just a lot of content is going to be coming out on one of the best ways and some of the coolest things you can do with that remappable button but outside of that obviously you can do a flashlight make your camera shutter turn on a voice memo immediately so it is going to be a nice added feature and a nice little Hardware upgrade overall by default it still will be a mute switch so it's still going to be able to mute your phone and go from vibrate to mute that's the default setting but you can change it after the fact with iOS 17. and then some other things to take note of when the iPhone 15 pro and pro Max is that the USB C Port is actually a USB 3 Port so what that means is we get up to 10 gigs of transfer speed which I think is a must with the pro Max because you do have the ability to take a bunch of Raw photos and raw video files which take up a lot of storage you can record them prores now you get the 4K 60 HDR you know you those Raw photos using the 48 megapixel camera take up a lot of storage and take it up quickly being able to plug in a USBC cable from your iPhone maybe to your iPad and then transferring everything to your iPad very quickly is going to be very nice and it's going to be an upgrade to people like myself who use airdrop to transfer those types of videos and the one thing that they also showed with the camera setup is that now you're able to take spatial video which is going to be very interesting again this is going to have to do with the Vision Pro and spatial video is supposed to be this lifelike almost 3D rendering type of video kind of a portrait mode where you see there's a big depth effect so you can kind of relive moments technically and the vision approach is going to have that same capability and that same feature but now being able to record it on your iPhone 15 pro and pro Max and then view it on your vision Pro should be a cool kind of idea in transition I'm excited to see what the Vision Pro is going to feel like and look like and actually be like but that's something that we're not going to be able to really test until we actually get our hands on a Vision Pro later next year and then in terms of color choices you get four color choices they are kind of just different Shades of Gray for the most part but you do get like a white one you get a silver one you get a bluish Hue and then you also get black but again they all kind of just look like light gray all the way to dark gray if you really start to look at them too much but that is what the pro model comes in terms of colorway and the pricing structure is a little bit different right the pricing structure is for the regular 15 Pro it starts at 9.99 and you get 128 gigs but then with the 15 Pro Max it actually starts at 11.99 which is 100 more than last year but it defaults at 256 gigs of storage so at least you're starting at 256 of storage but you are starting a little bit higher price but the 15 Pro if you don't want to spend that extra money you can go with the thousand dollar 15 Pro with 128 gigs and that's what you're dealing with and same thing for these These are going to be ready for pre-order on Friday and they'll be available available next Friday for purchasing in store or hopefully when we get them in the studio that is pretty much going to do it for this video everybody like you saw nothing too crazy nothing too standouty we got a lot of these rumors already we kind of knew what to expect you know series 9 Apple watch Ultra 2 very small updates if any at all I do not recommend upgrading them if you already have an Apple Watch Ultra or a series 8 unless you know you really want to get the series 9 for I don't know the better brightness and maybe the gesture controls but who knows if that's again that's a hardware or software limitation I think the story here is iPhone 15 lineup not the 15 pro and pro Max even though those are great and very cool there's a lot of features for that you get for your money with the 15 and the 15 plus so if you're just walking into your carrier store and you want the latest and greatest you're going to get pretty much 99 of the experience that you're gonna get with the pro and pro Max and that could not be said with last year's lineup of iPhone 14 versus 14 pro but let me know with a comment down below if you're gonna get any of these are you upgrading your current iPhone or Apple watch if you are upgrading what are you upgrading from so I'm going to be going from a 13 Pro Max to a 15 Pro Max so let's see if that upgrade is going to be worth the money itself but like I said leave a comment down below if you made it to the end leave a little dolphin as well in the comments down below but that's gonna do for this video Stay subscribed we got a lot of content coming out about this stuff but if you guys want to watch more iOS iPad Os or Mac OS videos click on one of these right here and until next time I'm Fernando I'm out of here everybody peace\n"
