The Mustang Fastback: A Dream Ride Worth Pursuing

As I sit here behind the wheel of my new Mustang Fastback, I'm reminded of why this car is so incredibly beautiful. My old man always said, "They truly don't make cars like they used to," and I couldn't agree more. The interior of this car is unreal - it's like stepping into a dream world. I pre-ordered the new Bronco, which is expected to arrive in June 2021. However, I'm planning to spec my own Bronco about a month or two later, so we'll see how that turns out.

The Exhaust System: A Matter of Importance

I've been egged on by a friend who's pushing me to install an exhaust system - but I shouldn't do it, right? The stats don't lie; Mustangs are notorious for crashing. It's not every Mustang owner who crashes, but it's a fact nonetheless. Today, we're headed to Jiffy Lube to get the emissions done on my car. We've finally obtained the title, and with that comes a crucial step in getting everything shipshape.

The Emissions Test: A Necessary Evil

We plugged this into the OBD2 port, which is conveniently located under the steering column - but I couldn't see it because of the way the dashboard is set up. Luckily, we passed the emissions test! In Utah, you have to get your car checked once a year for emissions, and since we haven't modified our exhaust system or catalytic converter yet (if we do, who knows if it'll pass next year), we're good for the next 12 months.

A Close Call: The Time We Got Pulled Over

We've had a few close calls - like when I got pulled over in Vegas. Luckily, the officer was super cool and understanding. However, getting caught without a license plate or with the car's title not in my name makes for an interesting scenario. As for removing the catalytic converters on my vehicle, it's basically impossible due to their embedded location in the engine bay.

The Road Ahead: A Long List of Tasks

As I look at the list of tasks ahead of me, I'm reminded that there's still a lot more work to be done before this car is fully registered and ready for the road. We have to get it painted, add paint protection film, wrap the body, and install a roll bar. The body shop has been working on my Gladiator (not Mustang), and once that's done, it'll be off to Agility Customs for exhaust work and other modifications.

A Battery in Distress: A Flashing Red Warning

As I sit here typing away, my battery is flashing red - which means the video might be over at any given second. It seems like every project has its own set of challenges and obstacles to overcome. The Gladiator's been at the body shop for 45-60 days, and after it's done there, we'll need to take it to Agility Customs for more work.

A Shout-out to Jiffy Lube

Massive shout-out to the boys over at Jiffy Lube who hooked me up with a free emissions check. They didn't even charge me! It's experiences like these that make me appreciate the importance of having a reliable mechanic by my side.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enthis is probably the most exciting fedex we have ever received in my entire life oscar come on bud now today has been a long time in the making ladies and gentlemen welcome back to the channel and welcome back to the vlog to make a long story very very short the title for my bugatti has finally arrived via fedex not a paid product placement for fedex affiliates also not the inverse of a sponsorship for usps or its affiliates aka the us government also marshmallow i love oscar so much my mom asked that i give oscar more screen time so we got to show some love to the floof yeah we love you grandma loves you bud i bought the veyron on the 14th of august i've been waiting for this title for the past three months so it finally arrived this is amazing news right wrong wrong is wrong i have to register the car which is great i get a license plate i can drive the car legally but it also means i'm on the hook for utah sales tax which unfortunately is not like the state of montana you see in montana the sales tax bill is zero because they don't have sales tax and in utah we do have sales tax which means i have hm maybe we should move to montana the big sky vlogs kind of has a nice ring too i just did a quick google search states without sales tax we could move to alaska delaware montana new hampshire or oregon as soon as this video goes live i'm going to make an instagram story poll i'm kind of started joking but i'm kind of sort of not go on there go vote and tell me what state should we move to because we have no sales tax on any of the cars i've paid sales tax on the aventadors the raptor the focus rs the ca corvette the super the list goes on and on and on if we lived in these states think about how many cars we could buy that's a lot of cars so for the past 10 minutes i've been trying to figure out a good way to phrase this and i don't really know how to do it i just want to tell you guys i feel so fortunate to get to do what i do i love what i do to be able to drive the cars that i drive is beyond my wildest imagination and i can't thank you guys enough for that support and so when i'm talking about the prices on the veyron it's astronomical and i remember when i was making forty five thousand dollars a year as a job cost account and working for burlacker and the sales tax due on my veyron is more than i made in an entire calendar year but i don't want it to come across as me complaining or bragging or humble bragging but i remember making 45 000 a year and so when i see this number so the sales tax rate here in utah is seven point two five percent i paid eight hundred and eighty thousand dollars for my car which means the sales tax due is sixty three thousand eight hundred dollars sixty three thousand eight hundred dollars now my youtube channel has had more success than i could have ever imagined but when i think about it realistically i look at people in the entertainment industry you look at one hit wonders musicians that are at the peak of their career for like six months and then four years later nobody's ever heard of them and youtube although it's a musician it's kind of sort of the same concept the channel's doing fantastic i have the resources to buy the cards that i do but looking long-term i don't want to be wasteful with the money that i have because youtube could crash and then i look back it's like wow i paid 64 000 in sales tax on a bugatti veyron whereas instead i could take this money i could buy a piece of land in montana i could store the bugatti in montana because you register the car where the car lives you pay sales tax where the car lives i could use that money to buy a piece of land in montana instead of does that make sense but the problem is that if i move to one of those states like i love utah i'm building a house in utah but to drop 64 000 and i thought about this like i thought about this before i bought the car i am gonna pay sales tax i just want to give you guys a net well i don't know maybe i i really should buy a piece of land in montana or oregon build a second house get an airplane and fly back and that's an idea what if i got an airplane okay this is an idea now if some of you guys are confused let me explain it here in utah if i register the car i have to pay sixty four thousand dollars in sales tax if i register the car in montana i pay zero so i save sixty four thousand dollars but to register the car in montana legally the car has to be in montana legally which means i take that sixty four thousand dollars i buy a piece of land this top one hundred fifty thousand dollars and look at the views like views on views this is such a good idea so i store the bugatti in montana i get my pilot's license because i still wanna live in utah but you pay sales tax where the car is stored and if it's stored in montana we're good i get my pilot's license i buy an airplane i fly from salt lake city to missoula we drive the car around the big sky country we have a piece of land we don't pay sales tax and then someday you sell the car you sell the land and we're good and we didn't lose 60 that's a good it's a good idea it is now i know that's enough tax talk for like the rest of the entire history of the channel but it's a pretty good idea my formal education is in accounting there's a difference between tax evasion and tax avoidance tax evasions illegal tax avoidance has encouraged and within the parameters of the law this is an example of tax avoidance as a good idea it really is we could talk tax all day but we have other things to do so we're not going to but we could we're not going to we could but we won't but maybe we should we won't trust me well we might we're running late but my puppy's asleep and we gotta take him home first oscar buddy wake up wake up luffy we gotta go we gotta go we gotta go come on come on hustle good boy man i wish i could be like that i'm telling you oscar's always like passed out he's just ready to floof come on husky let's go bud let's go we got things to do places to be people to see let's go let's go oh wow oh my gosh there's just something about a thousand horsepower all-wheel drive bugatti veyron spinning its tires in secession okay that'll wake you up early in the morning the heart rate is pounding just one more acceleration for good measure go break spring springs wow and of course welcome here to beautiful agility customs we have todd's zr1 wagon i would love to line up these two cars that car's a burnout machine obviously we're not gonna be burning out the feyron i feel like i have to make the same disclaimer every single time we get here to agility customs there is not gonna be a six-wheel burnout today at least i don't think there might be we'll see what todd thinks i just can't help but smile the gladiator is so cool it just has so much presence you'll notice the rear bumper has now been mounted on you can see the additional weld work right here we could just put a flat bed and be done i have someone that wants to do it okay um this is an unexpected sequence in the vlog we could flatbed this baby if it was a little bit longer we could actually put the bugatti on the flatbed that's an idea so all of a sudden it turned into somewhat of a serious conversation what are we at about eight eight feet so yeah the raptor would make more sense because we need about 12 feet ryan's thinking 12 feet bare minimum bare minimum case measure the bugatti yes yes 12 10. so we're going to need 13 minimum well well we want to put the events around too so probably 14 feet just to be safe this is a very technical procedure tell me i'm wrong that flag daddy bugatti would be so epic like look at it could you imagine once holding up i'm gonna try to explain this the best that i can but if that doesn't work out todd's going to come through and actually explain everything so we're taking the gladiator down to spanish fork to the body shop because obviously this oem bed is way too small so we're going to slice and dice it right here we ordered a second bed they're actually going to mold the two together to make it look right that makes sense todd right boom something like that something like that what that's exactly what it's like okay my voice is squeaked we're good my voice skates it's early and it's very very cold it's like 42 degrees out i'm getting such hardcore sema vibes right now you guys might remember we took the gladiator into the event of sema last year it was absolute chaos we're gonna follow todd and the gladiator in the bugatti come on utah you did not have to flex that hard the mountains and the clouds look absolutely gorgeous this is legitimately sema all over again but we're in a bugatti and we have the hellosaurus 6x6 looks so crazy it's so cool to see it rolling in motion not that it's actually rolling or in motion but you know what i mean the hellosaurus i cannot wait we're gonna race back to the warehouse we're gonna swap out the bugatti for the event or luckily we have a thousand horsepower so we should be good no cops we're good i'm sure gillette heating and air is amazing but we go bye bye whoa geez see you later the turbos love the cold air but the tie ulcers the tires can't put down the traction i'm sorry the valves are closed it's just i mean it still sounds good but it's not the fbi exhaust we all know and love i mean it is but the valves are closed i gotta get it fixed i definitely didn't speed whoa what was that that was with the valves closed we are popping today boys now like i said in the last video it's gonna be here at the body shop for about 45 to 60 days we have a second bet on order that's going to be here next week so really 45 to 60 days plus seven days yeah all right guys there she goes the next time we're back here the gladiator i'm not gonna say it's done we're gonna come back and watch the paintwork and everything but burlacker baby burlacker what are you doing this is what you need in your life we have all those mustangs in the garage you got to get one of these i would say what it is but i know that like b is for build went through yeah i don't know i i don't know if i'm allowed to say the word there's just nothing like a mustang fastback burlap or sell the gt350 sell everything sell well don't sell the house because i'm living there for the time being but like actually this is what you need in your life this car is so incredibly beautiful i'm gonna sound just like my old man but they truly don't make cars like they used to like are you kidding me this interior is unreal i feel like i mentioned this a while ago i pre-ordered the new bronco delivery should be in about june of 2021. i'm gonna be speccing mine though in maybe like a month or two maybe i think i don't know i forgot you gotta take the forgotten i really need an exhaust this guy is egging me on i shouldn't do it i shouldn't do it i'm not gonna do it i'm not gonna i'm gonna do a bite yo i should definitely not have done that i know better that's a baby burlacker in the making okay so he's right behind me we gotta duck now if you do own a mustang please don't be triggered but statistics don't lie like mustangs they crash a lot it's a fact it truly is not every mustang owner crashes a lot but anyway so we're headed to jiffy lube because i gotta get emissions done on the car we have the title finally but we got to get emissions we don't have a modified exhaust we have cats so we should be good just a real quick brief fyi today's video has not been sponsored by jiffy lube i wonder if someday i went to sell this car if i actually had an oil change from jiffy loop how that would affect the value we got to plug this into the obd2 port which of course is under the steering column i can't see it though did we pass yeah oh awesome we passed nice how do i paint just go ahead oh awesome thank you guys so much now massive shout out to the boys over at jiffy loop hooking me up they didn't even charge me for emissions all right we passed we passed we're good to go now in the state of utah you have to do emissions once a year obviously we have not modified the exhaust we have not modified the catalytic converter yet if we do i don't know if it'll pass next year but for the next 12 months we're good we're yeah what are we gonna do if we don't pass simply pop it into sport oh come on jenna no bro no oh i mean it's probably for the best because i've accelerated a lot today oh and go gee i wonder if we could trade it straight for the rolls royce that thing is sick limousine llc i'm going to send them a message and just like that we're one step closer to actually registering the car and actually driving it legally here in the united states of america i've done 2 000 miles on this car already since buying it and we still don't have a license plate we did get pulled over the one time in vegas obviously that officer was super cool we've tested our luck a little bit too much obviously going go to jail speeds and not having the car in your name making it appear that it's stolen even though it's not could make for an interesting scenario with the wrong police officer now as far as actually removing the catalytic converters on the vehicle it's basically next to impossible the cats are actually embedded in the engine bay underneath the engine so to do it you have to remove the engine which is out of my ability as well as my financial ability to pay somebody who knows how to do it so the cats are gonna stay on the car now the muffler delete we have an exhaust mod coming pretty soon soon and when i say soon you know the drill i'm trying to think if there's anything else we have to talk about so bugatti we're almost registered aventador aventador gladiator i think i think today's video is over now in summary on the gladiator also my battery is flashing red so the video might be over at any
