The Thrill of Owning a Rare E46 M3 Wagon with a Stroker Motor
This writer's fascination with BMWs began with a white, four-door E36 M3 that he had seen sitting in a parking lot at Caruo Pizza in Newtown Connecticut. The car was not his parent's choice for a sports vehicle, but the sleek design and twisting lines captivated him nonetheless. Research and a newfound love for BMWs followed, leading to the owner of this rare E46 M3 wagon.
The current owner is thrilled to have acquired the first real E36 M3 he has ever owned, with a 4.6-stroker motor that promises significant power gains over the standard five-something's. The engine's sound is considered one of the best made by BMW, and it feels good on the ears. The writer reminisces about his own experience with driving manual transmissions in European cars, particularly the E92 and E46 models, which he found to have a somewhat flat power delivery.
A visit to PSI, a shop built by neighbors who are also car enthusiasts, was a highlight of this trip. The owner had been dying to see the E39 M5, which he considers one of his favorite BMW models. He has come to appreciate the unique sound and mid-range performance of these cars, particularly when compared to more modern models.
The Mustang on display in Germany is an added bonus for the writer, who is fascinated by American muscle cars. This unexpected encounter adds to the excitement of the day's events. The owner is grateful to Drew for making this trip possible, despite the numerous challenges that came with importing a car from Europe.
The journey has been a wild ride, with the owner navigating customs and logistics in Germany. Three cars were brought together for a photo shoot near the famous Nürburgring sign, showcasing the writer's passion for BMWs and automotive enthusiasts. This was an impromptu gathering, and the group's camaraderie is palpable.
A brief detour to discuss the future of eag's European deliveries has led to some unexpected revelations. The owner acknowledges that this trip will not become a regular occurrence, as it was a one-time event made possible by Drew's efforts.
As the day comes to a close, the writer reflects on the hotel where they are staying, which boasts an impressive collection of cars and amenities. A recommendation is extended for those who plan to visit Germany in the future, particularly when it comes to dining options.
In conclusion, this writer would like to express his gratitude to Drew for facilitating this extraordinary experience. The collaboration with various individuals, including Misha from 24/7 Performance, has resulted in a memorable day that will be cherished forever. The owner of the E46 M3 wagon is already looking forward to their next adventure together.
"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enall right guys welcome to today's video we are no longer in Poland where are we Colette we're in dland Germany Colette just woke up from a 7h hour and nap okay we made pit stops it wasn't full s hours so we had a really really cool plan for this trip I'm not sure if you guys have been following paddle what cow yep that's a cow cow car cow car this car is one of the coolest cars and ironically the last time I saw this was in Florida cow might leave look how big the pasture is go get it you come with me this car really cool car maybe we'll get a chance to drive it but this is actually a car that PSI built this is a stroker wagon built to look like the M3 wagons I had over here but this car was actually from the states pretty cool so we were supposed to be on this road trip in my own car you know what that means that means we're going to be talking about a new car we're here at 24/7 performance cuz that's where the car is trying to get roadworthy right now Larry the trio we were all supposed to be cruising together we didn't but you guys did I got watch together we were together you were just in a rental car I've been waiting to announce this I'm really excited for this but uh a while back Drew had the opportunity to purchase EIG and uh in order to purchase it he reached out to a bunch of his friends and partners to help him and he reached out to you Adam and me to help on the marketing side and just to be a part of this whole Journey if you guys don't know eag Enthusiast Auto Group they're in Cincinnati Ohio and they restore some of the best BMWs in the world I say the world because people ship BMWs from all over middle east Europe to Ohio of all to restore their car now just to add like my experience of eag I had no idea that there was even a Rejuvenation process I thought of eag as like a dealer because I would go on when I was young and I would look and I'd be looking for like my Laguna SE E46 M3 and they would have them and they would like 3,000 mil and they would be four times the prices market and you look at it and you'd roll your eyes you'd be like this is insane but then when you look at the detail and understand the process that the cars go through it literally is the highest Echelon of BMWs that you will find in North America maybe even the world I said hey do you know who EEG is and you literally said yeah they sell like the coolest cars ever for an obscene price and I was like yeah yeah yeah and we had to go in and describe the process right and I think honestly the Rejuvenation process from my perspective is what actually Drew you in you know your background experience and your interest uh just lead right into that department on honestly the next level to be a part owner in something I want to be able to have a tie in so then when the idea came up of doing essentially a European Delivery on some E36 M3s that may need a little love they're a little edgy well mine needed a lot more love um this one is called Larry's lemon and not because it's yellow it's because it came with a blown motor cracked head pretty much everything is broken on this thing it's it's kind of kind of amazing that we made it this far on this road trip I will I will say it sounds amazing hearing that thing in the tunnel it was sick it does and that's uh definitely part to evolve Automotive in the UK they swapped out the motor without me knowing before I landed and it was running fine when I got in it so here in Europe they have what is called the Evo version of the M3 and these cars come with a better engine I talked about this a little while back because I did own an E36 M3 that had the s50 b32 essentially this came before the s54 makes I think like 60 more horsepower sounds amazing 80 more horsepower okay but I didn't post on video I actually sold the one that I had back home because I knew that this was coming so we're going to be getting a real one now uh Chelsea actually bought the one I had back home cool car but not a real M3 right can I just make a point yeah uh this guy being e92 Drew you know he collected what over a million dollars worth of e92 yeah was pretty wild like for you to be the owner of eag like it's so fitting it's so good yeah so here's how I describe it I I don't feel like I could have created eag in the capacity that it is currently in it's been around for 20 years as most people know uh but to your point I feel like I'm the right guy to take it to the next level right uh maybe modernize it a little bit with a little bit of flare bring it into some current time maybe add a little color to the to the pallet of inventory that we have like darar Yellow by the way I want to say this car is such a lemon that even even the lemon stickers that you put on the car this morning are already falling off that is true I think it's the coolest thing you guys have these little little lemon stickers you can't even see it anymore but oh sorry about that but hey hey hey hey watch just don't mind the Gaff tape you know holding the car to I just want to show the lemons cuz it's a perfect color match for the car and there's just been sticking them on places where there's little dings and nicks at one point we were stuck in traffic today on the Autobon and Larry goes to close his door and the entire flap is just doing this is their cruising number bro it's a new car bro come on who seriously bought this car that's so sad oh actually I did yeah 23 years of me buying cars professionally and I've i' I have added up over 60,000 car deals that I've done in my career or I've been a part of this is by far the worst that I've ever been scammed on any car I just it has to be my car I'm glad it went to you all right so the story is Drew paid somebody to go check out this car and where thinking the owner paid this inspector off to tell us that it's a perfect car and that's why he purchased it and look at this not perfect I got two thumbs up from the inspector on this one well to be fair I do like the the idea that both of us Larry got lower end of the spectrum M3s because it's going to showcase the Rejuvenation process way better if we went and we got like the crem creme E36 M3 did a restoration on it you'd be able to tell but when you're starting with Larry lemon and I'm starting with I don't even we don't have a name for mine yet oh I can't wait we have to see it first naming process is going to be can we can we go look at it we can I've heard that there might be a little bit of uh rattle canning somewhere on the front of the car so I'm dying to see it I'm I'm a big paint guy but I heard your paint Shop's pretty good over at e so yes I told him the other day I said hey he was like I can't keep the car I can't keep the car for the first day first of all he doesn't he doesn't understand true E36 life I just want to say that Mr no AC oh I'm experiencing the full the full e E36 life with no AC but I finally told him I said just let me do my job right to your point of EEG and the paint quality let me do my job get them to EEG they're not just edgy they're beyond rough but let me show you what we can do listen everybody was telling me this is better for YouTube better for videos but me being a car lover and a car Enthusiast and I wanted to buy this car to to own for the rest of my life I wanted it to be good and it's not but you know what when it gets to Ohio it's going to be perfect it will be well no no no once it leaves Ohio it will be perfect it's going to be in this absolute Shenanigans condition once it arrives to me let's go look at your car all right so we're here at 247 performance I told Drew basically hey can you just make sure that the car can get dialed enough so it's safe to go on track you know like pads rotors brake lines check some bushings you know couple little minor things next minute I get a photo the subframe out on the ground we had to powder it all right let's let's do a walk around of of everything that's that's been done let's go all right so here it is up on the lift W look at this thing let's take a look I don't even know where to start I want to start by just talking about the paint for a second I think it's the coolest thing and there's another cool thing you guys will see once the car's on the ground but the the car that we just built the European E36 that I'm competing is actually the same color Boston green what do you oh yeah that's spr that is that is the most rattle snaky rattle can spray job that I've seen in a while all right that's that's fresh that's that's pretty good you know they call me the fuel police at EEG listen I'm usually the one that picks cars apart I'm going to pick out all the good stuff that I can see in the car and you can pick out the bad okay okay the good news is I was able to get a set of custom DS is sent out over here that way when I take this thing on the Nur green because that is its first destination it won't have old blown out shocks and this setup is really good um looks like we've got some new rotors some new tie rods new control arms oh oh never mind what nothing what I'm just looking at I'm just looking at stuff you told me got something to say say you told no no no I'm going to let you do it what what we got in the rear all right all right hold on hold on hold hold onar all right so this is Carl Carl's been working endlessly on this thing and uh it's definitely gone a little Overkill do you want to see if he has anything to say about it okay so uh how do I translate catastroph catastrophe castrop that bad yeah was it V so okay so normally the car from the UK is pretty bad but now this Spanish car was even worse really yeah worse how with rust or uh mid rust uh Tyler from autos and okay so there there were parts from about like four or five different cars all put on this car to make it into a running car or running car so a lot of different parts were used to make it drivable but it was not really drivable so Carl jumped in and did all that and as you can see by the rear end it uh it got quite the treatment shocks brakes trailing arms powder coated I imagine new trailing arm bushings what uh what were these you telling me something cool about these These are uh this from as the rear uh the control arm is from uh E46 and then the arm you just pointed out is a E46 M3 CSL uhhuh uh so you can get the camera adjustment better it's pretty cool so it's got like OE adjustable yeah yeah exactly yeah and then he replaced all the bushings in your rear subframe so he took the rear subframe off had a powder coated and he has his own 24/7 unols so the whole rear subframe is put into unols right now so the car is super direct you may have also just found out uh another thing about this car uh you want to say okay so both of these cars came out of Spain even though we bought this one from a German dealer it was a Spanish car on consignment but apparently both of these are smg1 cars and if you know anything about the E36 chassis an SMG is made for one year it is unbelievably rare and nobody wants it it's the worst transmission ever made and you just got one that was converted so congratulations we got the two purchases of the year but it's but it's manual now right it's a manual now yeah yeah there's a little bit of coding and and whatnot that goes into tricking the car so it doesn't think it's an SMG again but uh yeah that's great that's a great discovery all right well we'll focus on the good underneath this is a really nice looking floor pan there's not a lot of dents all mine back home are all hammered up everywhere so that's that's good how's the front end look maybe just here that's supposed to be flat oh but we don't want to ruin your day but just just saying so one of my biggest concerns with the ring was obviously Just Brakes CU I want to be able to you know push the car so what uh what's going on with the brakes what did he do he replaced the rear rotors and he upgraded the rear uh pads with perform friction so also rebuilt the full calipers for the front and rear and for the front he has a different uh brand that he uses different pads looks like the original rotors are still pretty good the original rotors were still okay so he left them on the car and then he replaced the the pads for dixler it's it's a brand from here it's very popular around the N Rank and for him it's the best so sweet we got stainless lines good fluid good brakes now the rest is just uh I guess up to the car we're going through the box of all the stuff that was on the car that wasn't original this look like wrecking yard shocks right here based on the markings what else we got these weren't uh E46 M3s these were from a 325 huh are they different yeah Z feel on this yeah yeah they're very different what it do oh my goodness wow is that not normal no is that how they're supposed to be hey oh you found this car I did that is true I sent this to Drew cuz this car you guys will see more when it's the lift it's got a couple key things that were were really important to me did your M oh wow normal totally normal so you can this would have been cool if if Larry and I got the cards at the same time so we could have started a tally Board of like who's winning for worst car so evolve gave me a tally of 150 labor hours for his car that I owe them for the entire trip what are we up to on this one so far I don't know we're about to find out I might be more e92 E36 we're both in your car so yeah it was a little bit of a mess you know the the moral of the story with this entire trip is don't buy an E36 from Spain do it yeah that's very true well technically we didn't get them well did yours actually come from Spain yes oh mine didn't but we found out it was from Spain right no no though guess what we found out his is also an smg1 car yours is an smg1 car originally originally Larry didn't even know that not yeah they were both SMG cars oh do you know how rare it is to find one yeah it's rare it's good it's a it's a it's an ad it's so bad because at alt race I kid you not 10 Spanish people came out to me and apologized for their country man and I was like no bro it's not a big deal like it's One Bad Apple whatever it happens but I feel bad for everybody apologizing I love Spain I nothing against Spain I think countries maybe just send cars that aren't good to other countries you know it's nothing it's Spain Japan does the same thing and I love Japan Japan's great 247 performance only started 3 days uh 3 years ago 3 days ago no no that was the car no but uh 24/7 was uh started 3 years ago Carl has been in the uh racing industry his whole life uh so from building cars up to supporting cars at the racetrack uh he was always there so now he has his own shop here in kelber next to the N ring like 5 minutes from the entrance and he builds the quickest cars around the ring literally the quickest M3 is from this place so cool so you can take a look it's like Parts everywhere it's a true ROP so now that the car is coming down from the you can see the two things that got me the most excited about this car one being the interior it's got the mcross interior and it looks like it's in decent shape not bad see more in the daylight this is better than lar the best thing about it though this right here baby it's like up no sunroof in the states it's pretty rare I guess over here it's pretty common but uh I looked at a lot of different evos and I pretty much all of them had sunroofs and I think that's when their higher option it has a clutch pedal right yeah okay yeah yes we were getting a little worried it might actually be automatic so I'm glad I'm glad there's nothing pretty reasonable yeah this is really nice wow I love the interior Larry I haven't seen seats before it look it's cool right it's called Mr Cross yeah yeah they do look good I like it so there you go this is my two big selling points color slick top seats maybe not everything else that's three yeah you said two what you said those are your two Drew you've had a lot to drink relax the the engine basine oh that's interesting yeah that's very interesting uh oh Drew oh what we didn't I didn't notice this on the photos ah notice what um wait that other one no this that's something's something's going on here yeah but the other side's like that no this this shouldn't be cleared right it's supposed to be like that not shiny oh man I got a Larry's lemon too no yeah so um why would they do that Colette you know why they would do that right if it was replaced they blew out but I'm saying like why would they add clear like that's an extra step yeah you know what I mean so like why would they unless they're just like hey I want it to be glossy it's good the interior makes up for it yeah the seats are good the interor makes up for it for me yeah okay that's all we get run y so it looks like the Vanos has been serviced which is very expensive in a pain of ass on this judging by how nice and clean as is compared to everything else should be a good thing yeah yeah I mean the car has 400,000 km on it so I hope wa I'm kidding I'm kidding I'm kidding I'm kidding one of the things I love about the area by the ring that I remember from last time is like any given restaurant you go to you see all these cool cars parked in the parking lot it'll be a road worthy car but it'll have like a full roll cage track tires track brakes everywhere you go just people that love driving super cool that thing over there look at this it's like a little mountain 6 years later we are back at the nuring we're starting off the day it's a little bit rainy but we've got the best tour guide in the world what is up dude hey good seeing you this is Misha if you guys don't know Misha um I feel like a lot of people ask me what do I watch on YouTube I'll be honest I don't don't watch pretty much any car videos cuz I'm surrounded by it but one of the few exceptions is Misha's videos and uh you do an amazing job at covering all the cool track footage and things that happen out here at the ring thank you so much the feeling is M by the way you're one of the very few if not the only person I have my notifications enabled so that's actually quite pretty cool that means a lot and this is a reminder for you guys to set your notifications for both me and Misha so you guys don't miss any cool stuff but um I know a lot of you guys wanted to see us meet up believe it or not I feel like a lot of people don't know that we actually hung out and filmed back six years ago I was getting a lot of DMs like yo you got to go meet Misha I'm like yo we're already boys yeah exactly we you came visited the track that you actually shipped your car back then it was part of the the rough ready challenge something yeah that went wrong that didn't go according to the plan I think now you also is not everything is going according to plan that's kind of the theme maybe maybe I'll just rent a car next time I think you're pressing the content button too hard yeah probably so this is very cool I should have I didn't even like really show the car so this is an actual touring M3 m three touring yeah exactly you didn't get those in the stat unfortunately I believe you might be getting the M5 Touring that is coming up maybe maybe not but it's for me the perfect daily also the one of well it's a fantastic track car as well so cool but as a daily you have all the space you have uh the looks the power the Comfort what else do you need I know yeah cup holders you guys don't like those out here we have them but just not as big but uh is it actually different than the US uh I don't know about this particular car I know that some cars actually the only difference is aside for the obvious like side markers indicators Etc the big difference US versus EU models are actually the size of cup holders that's so funny this car is so freaking cool so we uh we can't technically go on the track until after 5 how do you say Tourist Day with the the right wayist F yeah exactly I love that so that's when the track will be open so we can uh take my E36 hopefully out maybe do some taxi laps maybe get Colette behind the wheels so today we're just going to want around and see all the cool behind the scenes stuff that uh you normally wouldn't get to see this is the S life like the S Loop because you all know the nor life the northern Loop the big track but in the past you had also s life for the small part which is nowadays replaced by the GP track it was just like the GP track nowadays not that popular because it was just like a small piece of it and this has been abandoned officially around like I think 1973 was the last race that was held onto it and you can see here actually so this is the racetrack yeah you're walking on the abandoned piece you can see the banking still you can see the curvature uh and we are walking in the opposite direction so you will see a very big downhill slope which is which would be uphill because you can imagine in 1930s with 600 horsepower cars GP cars with the like drum brakes and bicycle tires to go downhill that fast would be not a good idea that's crazy so that's kind of it what I want to show you because one part is this closed location one part is nowadays the official Public Road so we can just go and drive it and be less wet actually just least for you to say that you saw it you stood at it it's pretty crazy yeah so question was this also a public road kind of like the nuring is cuz I know one thing that's always weird and confuses a lot of people is the fact that you need to have registration because it's technically a road yes it's a technically oneway public Toll Road in Germany so as a matter of fact actually some insurances uh insurers across all over the world will exclude oneway Toll Road in Germany which is only there is only one which is the nring so it's public as long as you pay your ticket and then you can go on it that's funny yep now is there other racetracks that obviously aren't like that or is every racetrack like that uh no I mean some I believe Spa back in the days was also um you could go on Spa um as a tourist so to say lemon is actually normally outside of the racing event is just just a public road it's not a toll road you drive on Lon of certain parts of it um I'm sure you have probably maybe in us some Road circuits that are like that I don't I don't know of anything like that in the US do you Colette I guess Tail of the Dragon but that's that's kind of different yeah that's a bit different have you been there no unfortunately not it's definitely one of the it' be so cool I'd love to take well I wouldn't love to take you there but I would also love to take you there yeah yeah it's like those off camera things that we might go there but it will be actually Mexico right y oh junkyard got it so yeah don't end up here kids lots of little compacts huh yep is that like what crashes the most no I mean what crashes the most BMW imp porous why because those are the cars that drive the ring the most and then also Rena and everything so it's not that BMW is a bad car it's just being driven the most often yeah I mean probably Mustang crashes the most in us that's the most common car doesn't make Mustang a bad car no it's just the car that everyone drives so that's fair yeah all we took a pit stop on what is referred to as YouTube corner is that cuz most of the footage comes from here during the 24 hours of ning or any races it's full of camper vents people building their own main stages here building their own jacuzzi and as a driver during 24-hour race this is the most upsetting place to drive not because of the light shows those are amazing but because you drive hungry and you smell all the burnt meat and you're like oh my God I want to make a p stop here just like to get some steak from the people from the barbecue and uh yeah but I that known as a YouTube Corner because most of the people stand here and film and some people want to show off for the other people to film and not always it happens to go correctly so this is the famous gas station we're going to along the straight I heard it's got a good gift shop inside it has one of the world's largest model car collections that you can buy this is also the place where you can spot all the prototypes because they come to refill here uh you that's why they put also like the pictures here do not take pictures oh so should I not be filming uh now it's okay and also in the model shop it is okay uh since you're with me all right but uh German Germans are very peculiar about their privacy so do not put like the camera in people's face they don't like that oh my goodness you were joking oh I sound I hear a familiar voice in here button it is oh I told you to come to dington hi is that what it's called yeah feel like we could be here for a really long time this is crazy yeah yeah no problem no worries got a nice meal some snitel some rice what are you enjoying I got some pasta with shrimps the Cockroach of the sea next St where are we Misha we are at Vulcan Alpha my new little engineering dream that I founded this year so let me show you around what we have cooking when is this video going out uh hopefully sooner than later is there something that I can't show or talk about no this we showing tomorrow this is going to be the first unveil public unveil of fire well this won't this won't go up until tomorrow so okay good then then we can go at the same time so basically won Alpha what we specialize in is creating bespoke and also Universal Arrow upgrades for various cars we have uh series of wings that can be purchased for universally for any car uh in different configurations so this is a single piece element Wing 320 uh width and I think 1.78 m wide uh with uh I love this one neck yes one neck mounts and you can try to to move it anywhere it's cool it's very clean yes so what we did is we 3D scan the car um and then model the mount specifically to the model so it will sit absolutely flush on the on the boot itself and I'll show you underneath what's actually under the buet under the trunk you got one of these coming out for A90 Supra yeah we can make it I always wanted to do a small neck wing on the four rer Supra yeah we can definitely do it I don't need the down Force if I'm being honest but so we did was we made like a little cage underneath oh wow so it's it's a prototype it needs to be still coated or anodized for the for the client but um I was wondering cuz like when you pressed down it looked like it had more rigidity than I would expect yes yeah yeah you can stand on it with two people we tried it and it works you add a second element basically and then you have bigger optionally with DRS that's pretty cool so yeah you can expand this is this is an end plate this is an end plate that is giant it is end plate for a dual element and with this So-Cal fusili design it adds 12% more downforce and creates 8% less drag so it's quite it's a special feature as well kette ket's eyeing up that one she's like I need it I need that the bigger the wing the more happy she is MHM yeah so this is one of our 3D printers that's giant it's a big rep one uh4 3D printer we can print up to 1 cubic meter of space so you can do the full Fender we can do also big body parts so for example we 3D printer a front splitter in four different sections so it's all possible that we can also print with 10% carbon fiber so it's good for brake ducts brake Cooling and all kinds of uh intakes uh the car that started it all in the in the company so we installed actually yesterday our new front splitter uh I love the Finish yeah I love how it wraps around yeah yeah so this was also like fully scanned and modeled and printed can maybe show you later underneath how it looks like every wing that we have they have like CNC great uh CNC aluminum inserts in them it's something that with most of the Wings on the market you don't even see it's just piece of carbon sometimes glued together but we put lots of attention to details in our products hello hello hello bring you some visitors so that's our team uh it's my wife Magie hi Hi how are youie nice to meet you that's not my wife the rest of the team yeah I'm just organizing the shop for the lunch so oh yeah cuz we're doing the lunch tomorrow that's exciting so it's going to be very nice can you show maybe like the yeah maybe maybe the M2 do they have the splitter on it uh I need to bring it out this is a prototype for the M2 it's called the 400 kit super cool because it's uh let's say 400 kilos of downpours show that underneath do you want to show underneath yeah sure that looks crazy yeah so it's the same let's say spec as a GT4 GT3 um on floor on floor uh but the only thing that's different is that the let's say Leading Edge of the scooter it's removable so if you go on the street you can take it off and then put it on the track for example if you or if for example you get you hit something and you smash your splitter you can take off the only the front part and replace it so instead of paying like another 4,000 EUR for it you just replace the front part for like five or 800 now we'll still see we're still working on the pricings but all right so we're in Industry Park where a bunch of the different manufacturers have headquarters taking a stop by manai yes going to show you some some Secret Sauce some less Secret Sauce something that you allowed to show something not allowed to show because Manti is 51% Porsche owned they're like it's their Factory race team also development team so some things will be like really behind the curtains and prototype stuff that you cannot see or show yet and the other stuff we can show to the people if if you guys have ever seen any of the newer gt3s GT2 mrss that stands for Manti racing has a crazy Arrow the arrow disc in the rear um and it's kind of cool that you can get that package from the dealership yeah absolutely with factory warranty crazy let's go impressive isn't it it's crazy yeah so we're actually in the very first building that uh all of Monti purchased when he moved here to the NOA cring and nowadays it's actually massive conglomerate the GT3 cup cars are actually belonging to to the track experience that you can book so Monti racing is running all those cars they're doing all the maintenance and I know also that if you buy as a customer gd3 Cup car it will be done it will be serviced or like the first roll out will be done here at the nring to make sure that everything is functioning that's cool so it's actually nring approved so to say what an incredible car Misha you get to drive this yeah I dve it in portala earlier this year in h February so this is uh Porche GT2 RS Club Sport with a Evo package by Manta racing so it includes some additional Arrow upgrades some technicality upgrades and also allows it to be run in the SRO homologation so uh in a GT2 class worldwide quite an interesting car 700 horsepower rear wheel drive lots of torque lots of punch goes very fast uh less Arrow than a GT3 car so it allows you to go faster on the straights not as fast in the corners and a lots of uh violence I would say yeah what a cool looking car too I love Porsche race car Interiors crashing purposes so we're in one of their Logistics buildings where they're showing us kind of all that goes behind packing containers and prepping for all the race cars competing everywhere I think one of the coolest things check this out this is how they store all the spare parts and body panels a lot nicer than us just bubble wrapping stuff and thrown in the trailer check out that frame and rig and everything made to hold it all that was super cool I I didn't expect to be able to stop there so thank you for arranging that you're welcome very cool and of course thank you to manai for making that happen we're off now to 24/7 performance to go pick up my car uh it actually had to get TUV even though it's only going on a racetrack like I said the car needs to have Street registration which means it needs to pass an inspection so I guess what would they be looking for at TUV on the car make sure that there's no rust the things won't fall apart the things that are actually tied that needs to be tight and not loose of course also some emission testing some headlight testing that you don't blind your coming traffic although there's of course no uncoming traffic on the race car but since the public session is actually a public tow Road you are only allowed to drive street cars that need to have Street registration and fit the the certain criteria so I guess my question is when they do TUV do they physically put wrenches on things to see if they're tight like how do they see if something is loose uh they might do they might do for sure like uh I mean first of all they you as a mechanic you can tell the state of the car that you might Maybe should check if this looks sketchy if it's actually sketchy only looks sketchy and but the majority of the things they just do by eye lock City in Connecticut when they Tech drift cars they would actually jack up the front and the rear of the car and they would wiggle the wheels to check for play which in drift events no one ever does that and I thought it was the coolest thing cuz I know so many people that have crashed or like gone into an accident because they had like a ball joint that was about to blow out or something like that so I'm always a very firm advocate in video whenever I get a new car I like put it up on the lift this is what the first thing you should do with a new car and just like hit all the wheels and check things I can tell you that if your car now gets TUV approval by an actual tooth engineer your car will be the most suited car today out there on the track cuz I can tell you that usually 60% of the cars driving out there they should not be driving at all really well not not that bad but there are sometimes very sketchy and questionable vehicles that enter here not only from Germany you know because also from all other parts of Europe and um yeah maintenance is becoming quite a thing that people Overlook unfortunately Misha was telling me that if you have like a leak on track like if your coolant system explodes which is very Comm thing on E36 is and you cause a crash you have to pay for the crash damage of the person's crash that you cause so like imagine you're driv an E36 blow coolant line and then a GT3 RS crashes behind you that's going to be very expensive again this comes back to the fact that it's a public road and the same W happen on a public road if you drop coolant your insurance would then cover for the damages that your car would cause in this case if you have a German registered car majority of them still consider nor lifea during public session a public road so if you have an accident your insurance German insurance would cover for all the damages they might be yeah yes yes but if you are a UK registered car all the UK insurance for example excluded the nooc or lifer so if your small box drops some coolant and there's like a train of GT3 rs's behind flying over it you might have a big issue so the what's going to happen then they will still send the bill to your insurance because it's a public road it's a generally like European agreement then your insurance will pay but then your insurance will come after you since you breach their policy and they will demand from you all the damages that they had to pay out which can be quite expensive so therefore if you are running like a non German registered car and you still have a sort of a track car it still can be a good idea to Rent a Car locally so that you're not liable or worst case scenario let's see yeah no that's scary and like I imagine most of the cars here run actual coolant and not water yep y of course it's a wild west of the Motorsport world you will see all kinds of cars out there fully prepped almost race cars with the license plate that you have some Loop holes to make them street legal you will have vs like that's in front of us on the track on the track yes uh today maybe they will not allow bikes but bikes might be there as well wow uh they used to have even touring cars nowadays they don't have them and you might have a person like well like me is a bad example but someone in like you know with estate or a touring car not even M3 touring to go there after work let me do a quick laap with my car or maybe I picked up kids from school and do lap with kids because you are allowed to take kids on track because of Public Road as a matter of fact you're allowed to take animals on track I done a lap I done two laps in my life with my dog great news we passed tov how did it go was there any uh hiccups or I think everything well pretty fine I think it was good it's exciting yeah it's been a long way to get it here huh no issues whatsoever it looks much better than the last time I saw it yeah look at it aligned tires got a nice little drop on it it still looks a bit different in colors here but hey K relax bud I got a plate and everything it's moving under its own power look at that thing it is time we are leaving 24/7 performance remember sixspeed six feed I love how good these things r with itvs oh is it is my fuel actually empty uh maybe oh the gas station right here no yeah I don't I feel like I should probably stop and put gas in it power's good I got used to driv my little slow E36 oh my gosh it's spinning a little bit yeah I know so it's got all solid bushings in the rear right now which is pretty gnarly for a street car but that's why like that throttle just was like instantly like yeah all right so gas is on the right all right we got fuel we are headed to the ring and we are probably going to be the last person on the track today so there's there's a good chance we might not make it on track this is going to be one of those scenarios where it's like fingers cross everything works in our favor but there's a high likelihood that uh it won't and that just means it's not meant to be but it's obviously raining I'm very very grateful uh the throttle cable had some issues and one of the pieces broke off so they got that fixed last minute so we're cutting it really close but I have to give a massive thank you to all the guys over at 247 performance absolutely uh doing their name Justice and putting 24/7 time in this thing to get it ready so I can drive it but I think right now already given the circumstances I'm pretty keen on keeping the car here so I can do some dry laps man's tempting not to slide that right now um relax I know I haven't even really rung this thing out I want to I've been short shifting a God I love how py these motors are they have a lot more torque than the s54 I feel it might just be the car but like just a no my don't that right yeah you felt that your neck okay yeah my barely barely okay I'm not used to that in E36 yeah it's pretty good yeah usually E36 is are like so I'm really excited Misha is going to help me set up cameras got to give him a massive thank you too for spending so much time with us today um but uh yeah he's definitely got the nurburging camera set up down pat and I get very anxious when I'm about to go drive and I last thing I want to do is set up cameras and rush and miss my one lap with this thing so I'm also very very thankful I want to give another massive thank to BC uh BC got my custom DS's built for this thing in like 3 days I think they're pretty much overnighted to get them here in time that way I didn't have to drive the car on stock suspension so I'm very thankful and it rides beautifully too um I'm a very very big advocate of the DS series because of the digressive dampers you get to have a nice compliant ride but when you have big bumps and stuff too it's able to blow through and kind of let the car not just be bouncy um also mod tube design which is much much better and more ideal for the performance type stuff you do but you don't lose any of the ride with it as well so think sounds spicy we're doing it we have made it we have very little time and you are helping me major with all of the GoPros we are going to get out and we're going to let the nring GoPro Pro GoPro Pro help us out majorly yes if you enjoy these angles you know where to find more of them and GoPro if you enjoy 500 videos a year of me making with GoPros reach shout for some brand deal me too please both of us maybe collab yeah it's very cool too we get to meet via and her what do you call this box yeah so if we had more time we were hoping to get a lap with you fingers crossed we can even get a lap but um you are an absolute Maniac of a driver and we've enjoyed watching you shred especially with Misha it's very fun all the videos of her just passing like everyone nuring it's awesome thank you thanks Volkswagen uh Polo 6 and one GTI with 120 horsepower I have a bin b14 inside old one um it's F cage so this is yeah it's a w cage and you just drive this on the street uh yeah yeah it's a street car I love it oh that's awesome are you going to go out on track when we go out on track wait what is what is this we can do this this um on my lips with this car oh my gosh but but I yeah yeah on the notcher yeah wow oh my goding uh btg time um I love it how how often I got vealed what does that mean um I don't know when you have a crash and someone come to pick you up it does you get towed when you get towed yes you got you got recovered that many times no no no there are lips from this year only eight times only eight times it looks like the there yeah I need to change it a bit I love that that's so cute you keep track all of it that's awesome that's very so cool I love it we're set we're set yeah let's go okay maybe we can even do two laps just to put this out there especially for video I am planning to very much so take time this is brand new car that we obviously have seen there's a lot of yes things so this is this is more of a celebratory Cruise yes celebration of life of E36 but it's still very important to me to have you in the car kind of like keeping me of the track just cuz even even sometimes like those celebratory cruises are where you'll bite yourself because you think you're just doing a cruise lap and then you just way too soft on the brakes boom all right welcome on the nerv cring I'm pretty nervous it's been a while yeah it has been so do you have to leave after every lap yes unfortunately you have to come off after every lap so there's there'll be no one coming from behind them no no at least not from here not now there's vaa behind you which like Fast um go through the cones going through the cones and then accelerate out and you aim for the middle of the track so flat flat flat yeah how are these tires in the range they're okay they're not perfect uh but they should be okay most important thing is that you stay on the outside of the corners because that's where you uh have the most grip in the wet because the dry line is super slippery that's where all the rubber is so staying on right speed is fine going to the bottom and stay out of the standing water yeah so to the right and now to the left curb and right curb and the straight smooth line speed is okay so and then very good and then towards the middle and now on The Brak a bit and turning in left and staying on the left side try to stay see her better okay and stay on the outside stay outside outside outside very good and crossing over to the left side and stay left yeah that's how slippery it is staying on the outside and crossing over very good perfect this is probably the least ideal conditions to be driving right now on a brand new car and staying on the right so go right I trust my car on the brakes and it's yellow so this means slow down to 100 cuz there might be a car crash yeah yeah there is most likely car crashed so staying oh there it is oh wow yeah do not put that in the video either cuz then I'm going to get in trouble for yeah anyway why would you get in trouble uh because you're not allowed to show crashes and I'm with you and I so yeah all right so staying on the outside okay yeah that's where the grip is very good off the brakes very good let it roll and on the gas perfect and then staying on the middle yeah green flag very good and on the brake stay in the middle break more more more Let Go turning in and stay on the outside break a bit this is very slippery here yeah and crossing over very good and staying on the right side and stay right perfect to the outside that's just we're basically driving off the racing line because there's more grip the racing line would have more rubber on it yes which then doesn't disapp o I get a photo yes let's go yeah all right stay off on the brakes let go now let them pass eyes on the road watching out here now I chase them down stay gently through here not too much on the gas cuz here is slippery on the inside and now you can go there you good middle very nice perfect keep on the gas speed is fine to the uphill left part of the track and staying on the left side so stay left very good stay left yeah break a bit let go and stay left just through the outside going to the outside very good I guess gently through the outside very nice and keeping on the gas there's so much going on between the rain the windshield wipers the other yeah F on your ass it's pretty cool C it's going to be the best part of the video I forgot with the rear camera she's probably just playing around back watch her start sliding the corners yeah so going in a straight line to the right side of the truck and staying on the right side very good on the brakes let go and through the middle gently on the gas not too much very good keep stay yes and stay on the right side off the braking off the dry braking Zone break so stay middle is cuz here is going to be more wet okay let go and Dre the outside part of this um for me is just it's just cool being on the ring again like going underneath this bridge that's my favorite part yeah yeah yeah yeah looks so all right and then this this downhill section so fun yes probably sketchy in the rain now uh now it's new TX so you can go pretty much flat cuz it's all grippy surface rain y wow yeah well we're not doing that no L than that and then staying on the right side speed is okay going to the right in the back seat clap that's great yeah and staying right speed is okay tiny bit on the brake let go turn it don't take the curb like in the game cuz it's new yeah and stay on the outside on the left side messing with me not taking the racing line I know I got pretty good on your sim before we went out yeah now it's completely different story also here stay out stay right don't go to the inside this cor I always crash yeah and then crossing over to the left side where the graffiti is very good I mean it's got quite a bit of grip yeah all right going in a straight line and us staying on the right side all the way throughout the next corner so very good straight staying right how the how's the suspension feel on the car you like it yeah not bad yeah it's not bad staying right on the brakes a bit and stay right don't go to the inside let's go the brakes yeah very good the staying on the outside it's hard for my head to compr I know stay now left and break to the right side so breaking off the dry line so you avoid the rubber on the braking and crossing over very good and gently left and staying left now middle and on the brakes break break break more more more yeah ABS going full and move to the middle for the car to rotate there if you turn in on the wrong time with the brakes yeah all right so right side transitioning to the left curb let go the brakes no brake speed is fine to the outside left staying left this is AR scary yeah break a bit and stay on the outside stay out completely very good do you ever get scared riding fter yes that's why I stopped doing it I still came like one of the biggest shocks for me before was when you're riding faster with me i' never been on before and I felt like you had a lot of trust in me and you were pushing me pretty hard for someone like hadn't done a lot of track driving didn't know anything about the ring I was young and stupid back then yeah I have a family now all right and a beautiful dog thank you staying left yeah oh look at her drifting yeah yeah with the front wheel drive I love it yeah all right staying left I'm going to the right side side and on the brakes very good staying out completely here is very slippery on the left so and CH on the G and staying left that banner I can't see at all yeah I guess out here might L grip yep it's okay sometimes I like losing grip so you know like where the threshold is otherwise when you're always under then when it happens like o yeah yeah yeah staying right all right one of my favorite videos from The Ring is uh Lee's rain dance video ah yeah I watch that video sometimes when I give you hyped yeah watching him just passing all the cars around the and stay Lefty the opp stay left left inside is very slippery stay left has she done a lot of laps in the rain yeah yeah she's amazing in the rain like especially if she has the E36 she goes everywhere sideways I love it yeah this car feels like really good powerwise it feels healthy yeah maybe I don't know stay on the G speed is fine it's okay going straight to the right speed is fine here you can take the left side cuz it's a new tarmac so you can go on the inside left curve there go good perfect maintain acceleration all is good all is nice perfect perfect and straight to the right side and also here stay more on the outside when you take the left hander okay and again and gently on the gas there he is staying left under the trees where it's dry speed is fine I need to Y all right staying on the middle uh break stra straight to the outside and stay on the outside it's funny having her behind me if it was anyone else I'd be so anxious to see if her go back and forth dancing around you all right here can break out maybe okay all right staying left under the tree breaking Zone where it's dry are we going in the yeah of course this is my favorite F wo oh she SL oh God that was cool yeah wait there's another one of those right yeah yeah there's another one got film all right so stay out all is good thing sounds good when I rev it out yeah it's so quiet staying on the right there he good stay inside yeah stay left I can feel the rubber yeah and middle stay in the middle for the braking Zone break straight to the outside very good very good uh going straight to the orange barrier oh oh good job uh outside on the rubber yeah wow staying out crossing over to the right car behind us so eyes on the road but you can take the right curb if you want to go on the curb full on the curb full on the curb full on the curb okay now I have nice picture stay middle like he does Breaking dry wet line to the outside he knows what he's doing yeah he's moving yeah yeah and he's taking good lines and break straight staying on the outside like he does there he good God it's just so terrifying cuz then you don't have the run off staying left and Brak to the outside yeah stay outside idea yep take the outside all the time middle take the middle so w line breaking straight to the outside staying out out out very good middle and also from the middle you go on the brakes to the outside here is extremely slippery on the inside very good I might get to do our first pass I know yeah go pass yeah you you yeah you can pass very good you can take the inside here is good it's a new tarmi here yeah very good perfect middle and going straight on the brakes to the outside let go very good perfect and stay left very good and straight very good and staying middle going straight to the outside to the right side very good woo roll yeah and straight to the left side there we get perfect and straight and left side very good and try to the middle side and break on the left stay left and go and to the outside very good and straight to the right side brakes very good and staying right and middle there again so yeah yeah and there there it good middle so and straight line breaking very good on the outside yeah very good and stay out throughout the whole Corner staying on the outside very good here we are the Finish Line well I mean the bridge technically I mean like where do we leave the track H where the fog is okay in the game I usually just keep going you know yeah yeah well that's it I got to say like I think the rain and the fog and the new car and everything made me a lot more nervous of course but like yeah I mean I was expeced to come out here like swinging you know yeah yeah after running a 7 minute LA on your S I was like oh I'm going to up yeah and then you get out here in the rain in a new car and you're just like and there's a little poo pushing you from behind it's like come on dude you can do it you didn't say much how was the back seat uh not bad I was filming but I like this was like 10 out of 10 probably worst scenario conditions to drive in with the fog rolling in last minute yeah car did great yeah car survived so that's good I love that she was on your ass the whole time it's going to make the video so fun you just keep going back to the back camera it's like a podcast just having an extra in the back just weird weird stuff yeah yeah yeah where we exactly so we're going straight to Vulcan or you want to hang out here uh let's hang out here and take a couple photos then go to the right then you can then Park up somewhere Drew just got done doing a lap in his E36 touring how was it anything exciting happen it was yeah yeah we we uh we got a little fishy at the on the rear end twice yeah so I gave it a little extra speed but it was great great man my adrenaline's pumping you passed anybody I passed one car it was the same car you passed it it was the land ro oh heck yeah dude did you get the meat sweats while you're were passing we made that comment a couple times yeah four Dudes and and 150 lbs of crap in the back of the car so um definitely the wagon handled man I'm glad I did it it's pretty crazy to thing this is our last day here at the Newberg ring literally the last 10 minutes of the session we both got it on track so and I pulled out with uh 1 minute to spare but they closed the again anyway I was going to do a second lap but it's probably good that I didn't it same yeah amazing what did you just ask me do you know what a fly off is does it have to do with racing yes drifting specifically a fly off maybe a fly off flying off track no I see it's not normal what the I was thinking it's it's a hydro she was like maybe if I have a fly off it'll work and I'm like oh what and she was like she thought it was Universal oh the handbrake yeah they they fly off what but she can look up fly off and product show up really maybe that's why we don't sell any handbrakes to Germany it all makes sense now we got to change the name on the website I'm plus you just looking at me dead seriously you don't know how to fly what the so you're a drift girl and you don't know to flyer Hydro that's so funny we could call Hydro handbrake uh fly off fly off so normally heard fly off so now you learn something for me okay fly off I like fly I'm going to start saying that to other people and act like why don't you know this everyone knows we finally get to see our two cars next to each other yes and then also next to the most probably one of the most famous e36s of all time geobaz look at this line up I'm really happy Larry I got the same meaty Tire fitment as you check that out we all got look at this hot rod bro excited about this I said it was the nicest E36 in the parking lot I'm just so excited about this and also the owner he's so talented if you guys haven't seen his work oh you definitely have seen his work if you watch Adam's Channel because uh he gets tagged in a lot of his memes geoz yeah there goes the mighty m44 this is what came in my car uh that um competing drift Masters in one of these things Prett is it good no wait wait wait hey you know no I appreciate him because he is the only E36 content creator that is telling the truth spreading the truth I appreciate him even more now you know last night at the ner room we went to one of the restaurants that has a ton of cool memorabilia on the wall we went here forever ago when I went here but still so cool to see Super Cool vibe signatures everywhere old broken car parts you name it on the way back to the hotel I'm very excited cuz I get to drive the custom e91 touring M3 not only is this thing an M3 that is a wagon but it also has a stroker motor so these things are kind of underwhelming they come with a 4 L it revs high and they sound great but power-wise not the greatest this thing though got a 4.6 stroker do you know how much more power it makes in stock five 500's good like to the wheels okay still though that's that's some good numbers that's like GT3 so I'm excited the the Mustang in the background wow a Mustang in Germany just in time crazy this thing is a beautiful car so PSI built this the shop that we used to be neighbors with and I've been dying to see it and drive it in person funny that I get to drive it in Germany yeah I've driven manual e92 but never GCT I just remember the first time I drove one of these I was kind of underwhelmed it it's funny like all the the E46 and the e92 both feel like very flat down low in half a mile yeah they don't have a low down tool cuz they designed the first exit I really hope there's a place where I can get on it a little bit well we can always do it l true this is one of the best sounding engines ever made yeah it's great you know what else I love the E39 m5s yeah it's one of my favorite cars they've gotten so expensive thank you I just want a little sound clip it feels good and the roundout take the first exit in a qu of a mile are you ready wow man it just keeps pulling I feel like it it definitely livens up the mid-range of the motor a lot where before it was like very peaky I won't floor it that hard induction noise is good does this have a fancy airb yeah it has the full we ventury system all right that makes sense nice little cheeky plug yeah so has eventy PL him an intake and Acro poage exhaust that's like my favorite thing is when you have a car where it's got a really nice balance of induction noise and exhaust I hate it when the exhaust is so loud you can't hear the intake it doesn't run it out I don't know if I've ever said this in a video but believe it or not my very first car that I ever wanted was a white E36 M3 uh if you guys are from Newtown Connecticut you'll know of a place called caruo Pizza there was a white four-door E36 M3 that was sitting in the parking lot I so badly wanted it from my first car uh I don't think the parents were very into the idea of being a sports car but uh I just remember the The Twist s skirts being like dang that's the coolest thing I knew nothing about it but that was enough to get me to kind of research and fall in love with BMWs which I W up getting just a way less cool version but um so it's kind of cool full circle for this to be the actual first real E36 M3 I've ever own and in the night after a very successful day in front of the nerur gring sign doing a little photo shoot with the three cars with the man the myth the legend what is he shooting on these days believe it or not it's my cell phone thank you again Drew for making all this happen yeah man thanks for joining I'm very excited for the future of eag as am I I appreciate you being involved man of course I know you've gone through quite the ringer to make this trip happen and uh it is no small feat to have three cars in Germany be able to go around the ring together no it's been a crash course for me to purchase a car out of any country in western Europe and try and get it service and track ready in time but we made it uh we made it happen with I think 10 minutes to spare I hope you know this is going to turn into a thing where people are now going to expect eag European Delivery don't ask it's not going to happen this is a this is a onetime thing and it's only for you and him so kind of a little you say that now I think we're going to probably end the video here otherwise I'll just keep going forever we're staying in a really cool hotel that's like literally right over there it's got cool car mbil and stuff I think it's called lner or something like that so if you ever come highly recommend it and uh both the food places that we went I'll see if I can put in the description of course massive thank you to everyone help make this happen BC 24/7 performance of course Enthusiast Auto Group Misha and everyone else has been a part of this so thank you guys I'll see you soonall right guys welcome to today's video we are no longer in Poland where are we Colette we're in dland Germany Colette just woke up from a 7h hour and nap okay we made pit stops it wasn't full s hours so we had a really really cool plan for this trip I'm not sure if you guys have been following paddle what cow yep that's a cow cow car cow car this car is one of the coolest cars and ironically the last time I saw this was in Florida cow might leave look how big the pasture is go get it you come with me this car really cool car maybe we'll get a chance to drive it but this is actually a car that PSI built this is a stroker wagon built to look like the M3 wagons I had over here but this car was actually from the states pretty cool so we were supposed to be on this road trip in my own car you know what that means that means we're going to be talking about a new car we're here at 24/7 performance cuz that's where the car is trying to get roadworthy right now Larry the trio we were all supposed to be cruising together we didn't but you guys did I got watch together we were together you were just in a rental car I've been waiting to announce this I'm really excited for this but uh a while back Drew had the opportunity to purchase EIG and uh in order to purchase it he reached out to a bunch of his friends and partners to help him and he reached out to you Adam and me to help on the marketing side and just to be a part of this whole Journey if you guys don't know eag Enthusiast Auto Group they're in Cincinnati Ohio and they restore some of the best BMWs in the world I say the world because people ship BMWs from all over middle east Europe to Ohio of all to restore their car now just to add like my experience of eag I had no idea that there was even a Rejuvenation process I thought of eag as like a dealer because I would go on when I was young and I would look and I'd be looking for like my Laguna SE E46 M3 and they would have them and they would like 3,000 mil and they would be four times the prices market and you look at it and you'd roll your eyes you'd be like this is insane but then when you look at the detail and understand the process that the cars go through it literally is the highest Echelon of BMWs that you will find in North America maybe even the world I said hey do you know who EEG is and you literally said yeah they sell like the coolest cars ever for an obscene price and I was like yeah yeah yeah and we had to go in and describe the process right and I think honestly the Rejuvenation process from my perspective is what actually Drew you in you know your background experience and your interest uh just lead right into that department on honestly the next level to be a part owner in something I want to be able to have a tie in so then when the idea came up of doing essentially a European Delivery on some E36 M3s that may need a little love they're a little edgy well mine needed a lot more love um this one is called Larry's lemon and not because it's yellow it's because it came with a blown motor cracked head pretty much everything is broken on this thing it's it's kind of kind of amazing that we made it this far on this road trip I will I will say it sounds amazing hearing that thing in the tunnel it was sick it does and that's uh definitely part to evolve Automotive in the UK they swapped out the motor without me knowing before I landed and it was running fine when I got in it so here in Europe they have what is called the Evo version of the M3 and these cars come with a better engine I talked about this a little while back because I did own an E36 M3 that had the s50 b32 essentially this came before the s54 makes I think like 60 more horsepower sounds amazing 80 more horsepower okay but I didn't post on video I actually sold the one that I had back home because I knew that this was coming so we're going to be getting a real one now uh Chelsea actually bought the one I had back home cool car but not a real M3 right can I just make a point yeah uh this guy being e92 Drew you know he collected what over a million dollars worth of e92 yeah was pretty wild like for you to be the owner of eag like it's so fitting it's so good yeah so here's how I describe it I I don't feel like I could have created eag in the capacity that it is currently in it's been around for 20 years as most people know uh but to your point I feel like I'm the right guy to take it to the next level right uh maybe modernize it a little bit with a little bit of flare bring it into some current time maybe add a little color to the to the pallet of inventory that we have like darar Yellow by the way I want to say this car is such a lemon that even even the lemon stickers that you put on the car this morning are already falling off that is true I think it's the coolest thing you guys have these little little lemon stickers you can't even see it anymore but oh sorry about that but hey hey hey hey watch just don't mind the Gaff tape you know holding the car to I just want to show the lemons cuz it's a perfect color match for the car and there's just been sticking them on places where there's little dings and nicks at one point we were stuck in traffic today on the Autobon and Larry goes to close his door and the entire flap is just doing this is their cruising number bro it's a new car bro come on who seriously bought this car that's so sad oh actually I did yeah 23 years of me buying cars professionally and I've i' I have added up over 60,000 car deals that I've done in my career or I've been a part of this is by far the worst that I've ever been scammed on any car I just it has to be my car I'm glad it went to you all right so the story is Drew paid somebody to go check out this car and where thinking the owner paid this inspector off to tell us that it's a perfect car and that's why he purchased it and look at this not perfect I got two thumbs up from the inspector on this one well to be fair I do like the the idea that both of us Larry got lower end of the spectrum M3s because it's going to showcase the Rejuvenation process way better if we went and we got like the crem creme E36 M3 did a restoration on it you'd be able to tell but when you're starting with Larry lemon and I'm starting with I don't even we don't have a name for mine yet oh I can't wait we have to see it first naming process is going to be can we can we go look at it we can I've heard that there might be a little bit of uh rattle canning somewhere on the front of the car so I'm dying to see it I'm I'm a big paint guy but I heard your paint Shop's pretty good over at e so yes I told him the other day I said hey he was like I can't keep the car I can't keep the car for the first day first of all he doesn't he doesn't understand true E36 life I just want to say that Mr no AC oh I'm experiencing the full the full e E36 life with no AC but I finally told him I said just let me do my job right to your point of EEG and the paint quality let me do my job get them to EEG they're not just edgy they're beyond rough but let me show you what we can do listen everybody was telling me this is better for YouTube better for videos but me being a car lover and a car Enthusiast and I wanted to buy this car to to own for the rest of my life I wanted it to be good and it's not but you know what when it gets to Ohio it's going to be perfect it will be well no no no once it leaves Ohio it will be perfect it's going to be in this absolute Shenanigans condition once it arrives to me let's go look at your car all right so we're here at 247 performance I told Drew basically hey can you just make sure that the car can get dialed enough so it's safe to go on track you know like pads rotors brake lines check some bushings you know couple little minor things next minute I get a photo the subframe out on the ground we had to powder it all right let's let's do a walk around of of everything that's that's been done let's go all right so here it is up on the lift W look at this thing let's take a look I don't even know where to start I want to start by just talking about the paint for a second I think it's the coolest thing and there's another cool thing you guys will see once the car's on the ground but the the car that we just built the European E36 that I'm competing is actually the same color Boston green what do you oh yeah that's spr that is that is the most rattle snaky rattle can spray job that I've seen in a while all right that's that's fresh that's that's pretty good you know they call me the fuel police at EEG listen I'm usually the one that picks cars apart I'm going to pick out all the good stuff that I can see in the car and you can pick out the bad okay okay the good news is I was able to get a set of custom DS is sent out over here that way when I take this thing on the Nur green because that is its first destination it won't have old blown out shocks and this setup is really good um looks like we've got some new rotors some new tie rods new control arms oh oh never mind what nothing what I'm just looking at I'm just looking at stuff you told me got something to say say you told no no no I'm going to let you do it what what we got in the rear all right all right hold on hold on hold hold onar all right so this is Carl Carl's been working endlessly on this thing and uh it's definitely gone a little Overkill do you want to see if he has anything to say about it okay so uh how do I translate catastroph catastrophe castrop that bad yeah was it V so okay so normally the car from the UK is pretty bad but now this Spanish car was even worse really yeah worse how with rust or uh mid rust uh Tyler from autos and okay so there there were parts from about like four or five different cars all put on this car to make it into a running car or running car so a lot of different parts were used to make it drivable but it was not really drivable so Carl jumped in and did all that and as you can see by the rear end it uh it got quite the treatment shocks brakes trailing arms powder coated I imagine new trailing arm bushings what uh what were these you telling me something cool about these These are uh this from as the rear uh the control arm is from uh E46 and then the arm you just pointed out is a E46 M3 CSL uhhuh uh so you can get the camera adjustment better it's pretty cool so it's got like OE adjustable yeah yeah exactly yeah and then he replaced all the bushings in your rear subframe so he took the rear subframe off had a powder coated and he has his own 24/7 unols so the whole rear subframe is put into unols right now so the car is super direct you may have also just found out uh another thing about this car uh you want to say okay so both of these cars came out of Spain even though we bought this one from a German dealer it was a Spanish car on consignment but apparently both of these are smg1 cars and if you know anything about the E36 chassis an SMG is made for one year it is unbelievably rare and nobody wants it it's the worst transmission ever made and you just got one that was converted so congratulations we got the two purchases of the year but it's but it's manual now right it's a manual now yeah yeah there's a little bit of coding and and whatnot that goes into tricking the car so it doesn't think it's an SMG again but uh yeah that's great that's a great discovery all right well we'll focus on the good underneath this is a really nice looking floor pan there's not a lot of dents all mine back home are all hammered up everywhere so that's that's good how's the front end look maybe just here that's supposed to be flat oh but we don't want to ruin your day but just just saying so one of my biggest concerns with the ring was obviously Just Brakes CU I want to be able to you know push the car so what uh what's going on with the brakes what did he do he replaced the rear rotors and he upgraded the rear uh pads with perform friction so also rebuilt the full calipers for the front and rear and for the front he has a different uh brand that he uses different pads looks like the original rotors are still pretty good the original rotors were still okay so he left them on the car and then he replaced the the pads for dixler it's it's a brand from here it's very popular around the N Rank and for him it's the best so sweet we got stainless lines good fluid good brakes now the rest is just uh I guess up to the car we're going through the box of all the stuff that was on the car that wasn't original this look like wrecking yard shocks right here based on the markings what else we got these weren't uh E46 M3s these were from a 325 huh are they different yeah Z feel on this yeah yeah they're very different what it do oh my goodness wow is that not normal no is that how they're supposed to be hey oh you found this car I did that is true I sent this to Drew cuz this car you guys will see more when it's the lift it's got a couple key things that were were really important to me did your M oh wow normal totally normal so you can this would have been cool if if Larry and I got the cards at the same time so we could have started a tally Board of like who's winning for worst car so evolve gave me a tally of 150 labor hours for his car that I owe them for the entire trip what are we up to on this one so far I don't know we're about to find out I might be more e92 E36 we're both in your car so yeah it was a little bit of a mess you know the the moral of the story with this entire trip is don't buy an E36 from Spain do it yeah that's very true well technically we didn't get them well did yours actually come from Spain yes oh mine didn't but we found out it was from Spain right no no though guess what we found out his is also an smg1 car yours is an smg1 car originally originally Larry didn't even know that not yeah they were both SMG cars oh do you know how rare it is to find one yeah it's rare it's good it's a it's a it's an ad it's so bad because at alt race I kid you not 10 Spanish people came out to me and apologized for their country man and I was like no bro it's not a big deal like it's One Bad Apple whatever it happens but I feel bad for everybody apologizing I love Spain I nothing against Spain I think countries maybe just send cars that aren't good to other countries you know it's nothing it's Spain Japan does the same thing and I love Japan Japan's great 247 performance only started 3 days uh 3 years ago 3 days ago no no that was the car no but uh 24/7 was uh started 3 years ago Carl has been in the uh racing industry his whole life uh so from building cars up to supporting cars at the racetrack uh he was always there so now he has his own shop here in kelber next to the N ring like 5 minutes from the entrance and he builds the quickest cars around the ring literally the quickest M3 is from this place so cool so you can take a look it's like Parts everywhere it's a true ROP so now that the car is coming down from the you can see the two things that got me the most excited about this car one being the interior it's got the mcross interior and it looks like it's in decent shape not bad see more in the daylight this is better than lar the best thing about it though this right here baby it's like up no sunroof in the states it's pretty rare I guess over here it's pretty common but uh I looked at a lot of different evos and I pretty much all of them had sunroofs and I think that's when their higher option it has a clutch pedal right yeah okay yeah yes we were getting a little worried it might actually be automatic so I'm glad I'm glad there's nothing pretty reasonable yeah this is really nice wow I love the interior Larry I haven't seen seats before it look it's cool right it's called Mr Cross yeah yeah they do look good I like it so there you go this is my two big selling points color slick top seats maybe not everything else that's three yeah you said two what you said those are your two Drew you've had a lot to drink relax the the engine basine oh that's interesting yeah that's very interesting uh oh Drew oh what we didn't I didn't notice this on the photos ah notice what um wait that other one no this that's something's something's going on here yeah but the other side's like that no this this shouldn't be cleared right it's supposed to be like that not shiny oh man I got a Larry's lemon too no yeah so um why would they do that Colette you know why they would do that right if it was replaced they blew out but I'm saying like why would they add clear like that's an extra step yeah you know what I mean so like why would they unless they're just like hey I want it to be glossy it's good the interior makes up for it yeah the seats are good the interor makes up for it for me yeah okay that's all we get run y so it looks like the Vanos has been serviced which is very expensive in a pain of ass on this judging by how nice and clean as is compared to everything else should be a good thing yeah yeah I mean the car has 400,000 km on it so I hope wa I'm kidding I'm kidding I'm kidding I'm kidding one of the things I love about the area by the ring that I remember from last time is like any given restaurant you go to you see all these cool cars parked in the parking lot it'll be a road worthy car but it'll have like a full roll cage track tires track brakes everywhere you go just people that love driving super cool that thing over there look at this it's like a little mountain 6 years later we are back at the nuring we're starting off the day it's a little bit rainy but we've got the best tour guide in the world what is up dude hey good seeing you this is Misha if you guys don't know Misha um I feel like a lot of people ask me what do I watch on YouTube I'll be honest I don't don't watch pretty much any car videos cuz I'm surrounded by it but one of the few exceptions is Misha's videos and uh you do an amazing job at covering all the cool track footage and things that happen out here at the ring thank you so much the feeling is M by the way you're one of the very few if not the only person I have my notifications enabled so that's actually quite pretty cool that means a lot and this is a reminder for you guys to set your notifications for both me and Misha so you guys don't miss any cool stuff but um I know a lot of you guys wanted to see us meet up believe it or not I feel like a lot of people don't know that we actually hung out and filmed back six years ago I was getting a lot of DMs like yo you got to go meet Misha I'm like yo we're already boys yeah exactly we you came visited the track that you actually shipped your car back then it was part of the the rough ready challenge something yeah that went wrong that didn't go according to the plan I think now you also is not everything is going according to plan that's kind of the theme maybe maybe I'll just rent a car next time I think you're pressing the content button too hard yeah probably so this is very cool I should have I didn't even like really show the car so this is an actual touring M3 m three touring yeah exactly you didn't get those in the stat unfortunately I believe you might be getting the M5 Touring that is coming up maybe maybe not but it's for me the perfect daily also the one of well it's a fantastic track car as well so cool but as a daily you have all the space you have uh the looks the power the Comfort what else do you need I know yeah cup holders you guys don't like those out here we have them but just not as big but uh is it actually different than the US uh I don't know about this particular car I know that some cars actually the only difference is aside for the obvious like side markers indicators Etc the big difference US versus EU models are actually the size of cup holders that's so funny this car is so freaking cool so we uh we can't technically go on the track until after 5 how do you say Tourist Day with the the right wayist F yeah exactly I love that so that's when the track will be open so we can uh take my E36 hopefully out maybe do some taxi laps maybe get Colette behind the wheels so today we're just going to want around and see all the cool behind the scenes stuff that uh you normally wouldn't get to see this is the S life like the S Loop because you all know the nor life the northern Loop the big track but in the past you had also s life for the small part which is nowadays replaced by the GP track it was just like the GP track nowadays not that popular because it was just like a small piece of it and this has been abandoned officially around like I think 1973 was the last race that was held onto it and you can see here actually so this is the racetrack yeah you're walking on the abandoned piece you can see the banking still you can see the curvature uh and we are walking in the opposite direction so you will see a very big downhill slope which is which would be uphill because you can imagine in 1930s with 600 horsepower cars GP cars with the like drum brakes and bicycle tires to go downhill that fast would be not a good idea that's crazy so that's kind of it what I want to show you because one part is this closed location one part is nowadays the official Public Road so we can just go and drive it and be less wet actually just least for you to say that you saw it you stood at it it's pretty crazy yeah so question was this also a public road kind of like the nuring is cuz I know one thing that's always weird and confuses a lot of people is the fact that you need to have registration because it's technically a road yes it's a technically oneway public Toll Road in Germany so as a matter of fact actually some insurances uh insurers across all over the world will exclude oneway Toll Road in Germany which is only there is only one which is the nring so it's public as long as you pay your ticket and then you can go on it that's funny yep now is there other racetracks that obviously aren't like that or is every racetrack like that uh no I mean some I believe Spa back in the days was also um you could go on Spa um as a tourist so to say lemon is actually normally outside of the racing event is just just a public road it's not a toll road you drive on Lon of certain parts of it um I'm sure you have probably maybe in us some Road circuits that are like that I don't I don't know of anything like that in the US do you Colette I guess Tail of the Dragon but that's that's kind of different yeah that's a bit different have you been there no unfortunately not it's definitely one of the it' be so cool I'd love to take well I wouldn't love to take you there but I would also love to take you there yeah yeah it's like those off camera things that we might go there but it will be actually Mexico right y oh junkyard got it so yeah don't end up here kids lots of little compacts huh yep is that like what crashes the most no I mean what crashes the most BMW imp porous why because those are the cars that drive the ring the most and then also Rena and everything so it's not that BMW is a bad car it's just being driven the most often yeah I mean probably Mustang crashes the most in us that's the most common car doesn't make Mustang a bad car no it's just the car that everyone drives so that's fair yeah all we took a pit stop on what is referred to as YouTube corner is that cuz most of the footage comes from here during the 24 hours of ning or any races it's full of camper vents people building their own main stages here building their own jacuzzi and as a driver during 24-hour race this is the most upsetting place to drive not because of the light shows those are amazing but because you drive hungry and you smell all the burnt meat and you're like oh my God I want to make a p stop here just like to get some steak from the people from the barbecue and uh yeah but I that known as a YouTube Corner because most of the people stand here and film and some people want to show off for the other people to film and not always it happens to go correctly so this is the famous gas station we're going to along the straight I heard it's got a good gift shop inside it has one of the world's largest model car collections that you can buy this is also the place where you can spot all the prototypes because they come to refill here uh you that's why they put also like the pictures here do not take pictures oh so should I not be filming uh now it's okay and also in the model shop it is okay uh since you're with me all right but uh German Germans are very peculiar about their privacy so do not put like the camera in people's face they don't like that oh my goodness you were joking oh I sound I hear a familiar voice in here button it is oh I told you to come to dington hi is that what it's called yeah feel like we could be here for a really long time this is crazy yeah yeah no problem no worries got a nice meal some snitel some rice what are you enjoying I got some pasta with shrimps the Cockroach of the sea next St where are we Misha we are at Vulcan Alpha my new little engineering dream that I founded this year so let me show you around what we have cooking when is this video going out uh hopefully sooner than later is there something that I can't show or talk about no this we showing tomorrow this is going to be the first unveil public unveil of fire well this won't this won't go up until tomorrow so okay good then then we can go at the same time so basically won Alpha what we specialize in is creating bespoke and also Universal Arrow upgrades for various cars we have uh series of wings that can be purchased for universally for any car uh in different configurations so this is a single piece element Wing 320 uh width and I think 1.78 m wide uh with uh I love this one neck yes one neck mounts and you can try to to move it anywhere it's cool it's very clean yes so what we did is we 3D scan the car um and then model the mount specifically to the model so it will sit absolutely flush on the on the boot itself and I'll show you underneath what's actually under the buet under the trunk you got one of these coming out for A90 Supra yeah we can make it I always wanted to do a small neck wing on the four rer Supra yeah we can definitely do it I don't need the down Force if I'm being honest but so we did was we made like a little cage underneath oh wow so it's it's a prototype it needs to be still coated or anodized for the for the client but um I was wondering cuz like when you pressed down it looked like it had more rigidity than I would expect yes yeah yeah you can stand on it with two people we tried it and it works you add a second element basically and then you have bigger optionally with DRS that's pretty cool so yeah you can expand this is this is an end plate this is an end plate that is giant it is end plate for a dual element and with this So-Cal fusili design it adds 12% more downforce and creates 8% less drag so it's quite it's a special feature as well kette ket's eyeing up that one she's like I need it I need that the bigger the wing the more happy she is MHM yeah so this is one of our 3D printers that's giant it's a big rep one uh4 3D printer we can print up to 1 cubic meter of space so you can do the full Fender we can do also big body parts so for example we 3D printer a front splitter in four different sections so it's all possible that we can also print with 10% carbon fiber so it's good for brake ducts brake Cooling and all kinds of uh intakes uh the car that started it all in the in the company so we installed actually yesterday our new front splitter uh I love the Finish yeah I love how it wraps around yeah yeah so this was also like fully scanned and modeled and printed can maybe show you later underneath how it looks like every wing that we have they have like CNC great uh CNC aluminum inserts in them it's something that with most of the Wings on the market you don't even see it's just piece of carbon sometimes glued together but we put lots of attention to details in our products hello hello hello bring you some visitors so that's our team uh it's my wife Magie hi Hi how are youie nice to meet you that's not my wife the rest of the team yeah I'm just organizing the shop for the lunch so oh yeah cuz we're doing the lunch tomorrow that's exciting so it's going to be very nice can you show maybe like the yeah maybe maybe the M2 do they have the splitter on it uh I need to bring it out this is a prototype for the M2 it's called the 400 kit super cool because it's uh let's say 400 kilos of downpours show that underneath do you want to show underneath yeah sure that looks crazy yeah so it's the same let's say spec as a GT4 GT3 um on floor on floor uh but the only thing that's different is that the let's say Leading Edge of the scooter it's removable so if you go on the street you can take it off and then put it on the track for example if you or if for example you get you hit something and you smash your splitter you can take off the only the front part and replace it so instead of paying like another 4,000 EUR for it you just replace the front part for like five or 800 now we'll still see we're still working on the pricings but all right so we're in Industry Park where a bunch of the different manufacturers have headquarters taking a stop by manai yes going to show you some some Secret Sauce some less Secret Sauce something that you allowed to show something not allowed to show because Manti is 51% Porsche owned they're like it's their Factory race team also development team so some things will be like really behind the curtains and prototype stuff that you cannot see or show yet and the other stuff we can show to the people if if you guys have ever seen any of the newer gt3s GT2 mrss that stands for Manti racing has a crazy Arrow the arrow disc in the rear um and it's kind of cool that you can get that package from the dealership yeah absolutely with factory warranty crazy let's go impressive isn't it it's crazy yeah so we're actually in the very first building that uh all of Monti purchased when he moved here to the NOA cring and nowadays it's actually massive conglomerate the GT3 cup cars are actually belonging to to the track experience that you can book so Monti racing is running all those cars they're doing all the maintenance and I know also that if you buy as a customer gd3 Cup car it will be done it will be serviced or like the first roll out will be done here at the nring to make sure that everything is functioning that's cool so it's actually nring approved so to say what an incredible car Misha you get to drive this yeah I dve it in portala earlier this year in h February so this is uh Porche GT2 RS Club Sport with a Evo package by Manta racing so it includes some additional Arrow upgrades some technicality upgrades and also allows it to be run in the SRO homologation so uh in a GT2 class worldwide quite an interesting car 700 horsepower rear wheel drive lots of torque lots of punch goes very fast uh less Arrow than a GT3 car so it allows you to go faster on the straights not as fast in the corners and a lots of uh violence I would say yeah what a cool looking car too I love Porsche race car Interiors crashing purposes so we're in one of their Logistics buildings where they're showing us kind of all that goes behind packing containers and prepping for all the race cars competing everywhere I think one of the coolest things check this out this is how they store all the spare parts and body panels a lot nicer than us just bubble wrapping stuff and thrown in the trailer check out that frame and rig and everything made to hold it all that was super cool I I didn't expect to be able to stop there so thank you for arranging that you're welcome very cool and of course thank you to manai for making that happen we're off now to 24/7 performance to go pick up my car uh it actually had to get TUV even though it's only going on a racetrack like I said the car needs to have Street registration which means it needs to pass an inspection so I guess what would they be looking for at TUV on the car make sure that there's no rust the things won't fall apart the things that are actually tied that needs to be tight and not loose of course also some emission testing some headlight testing that you don't blind your coming traffic although there's of course no uncoming traffic on the race car but since the public session is actually a public tow Road you are only allowed to drive street cars that need to have Street registration and fit the the certain criteria so I guess my question is when they do TUV do they physically put wrenches on things to see if they're tight like how do they see if something is loose uh they might do they might do for sure like uh I mean first of all they you as a mechanic you can tell the state of the car that you might Maybe should check if this looks sketchy if it's actually sketchy only looks sketchy and but the majority of the things they just do by eye lock City in Connecticut when they Tech drift cars they would actually jack up the front and the rear of the car and they would wiggle the wheels to check for play which in drift events no one ever does that and I thought it was the coolest thing cuz I know so many people that have crashed or like gone into an accident because they had like a ball joint that was about to blow out or something like that so I'm always a very firm advocate in video whenever I get a new car I like put it up on the lift this is what the first thing you should do with a new car and just like hit all the wheels and check things I can tell you that if your car now gets TUV approval by an actual tooth engineer your car will be the most suited car today out there on the track cuz I can tell you that usually 60% of the cars driving out there they should not be driving at all really well not not that bad but there are sometimes very sketchy and questionable vehicles that enter here not only from Germany you know because also from all other parts of Europe and um yeah maintenance is becoming quite a thing that people Overlook unfortunately Misha was telling me that if you have like a leak on track like if your coolant system explodes which is very Comm thing on E36 is and you cause a crash you have to pay for the crash damage of the person's crash that you cause so like imagine you're driv an E36 blow coolant line and then a GT3 RS crashes behind you that's going to be very expensive again this comes back to the fact that it's a public road and the same W happen on a public road if you drop coolant your insurance would then cover for the damages that your car would cause in this case if you have a German registered car majority of them still consider nor lifea during public session a public road so if you have an accident your insurance German insurance would cover for all the damages they might be yeah yes yes but if you are a UK registered car all the UK insurance for example excluded the nooc or lifer so if your small box drops some coolant and there's like a train of GT3 rs's behind flying over it you might have a big issue so the what's going to happen then they will still send the bill to your insurance because it's a public road it's a generally like European agreement then your insurance will pay but then your insurance will come after you since you breach their policy and they will demand from you all the damages that they had to pay out which can be quite expensive so therefore if you are running like a non German registered car and you still have a sort of a track car it still can be a good idea to Rent a Car locally so that you're not liable or worst case scenario let's see yeah no that's scary and like I imagine most of the cars here run actual coolant and not water yep y of course it's a wild west of the Motorsport world you will see all kinds of cars out there fully prepped almost race cars with the license plate that you have some Loop holes to make them street legal you will have vs like that's in front of us on the track on the track yes uh today maybe they will not allow bikes but bikes might be there as well wow uh they used to have even touring cars nowadays they don't have them and you might have a person like well like me is a bad example but someone in like you know with estate or a touring car not even M3 touring to go there after work let me do a quick laap with my car or maybe I picked up kids from school and do lap with kids because you are allowed to take kids on track because of Public Road as a matter of fact you're allowed to take animals on track I done a lap I done two laps in my life with my dog great news we passed tov how did it go was there any uh hiccups or I think everything well pretty fine I think it was good it's exciting yeah it's been a long way to get it here huh no issues whatsoever it looks much better than the last time I saw it yeah look at it aligned tires got a nice little drop on it it still looks a bit different in colors here but hey K relax bud I got a plate and everything it's moving under its own power look at that thing it is time we are leaving 24/7 performance remember sixspeed six feed I love how good these things r with itvs oh is it is my fuel actually empty uh maybe oh the gas station right here no yeah I don't I feel like I should probably stop and put gas in it power's good I got used to driv my little slow E36 oh my gosh it's spinning a little bit yeah I know so it's got all solid bushings in the rear right now which is pretty gnarly for a street car but that's why like that throttle just was like instantly like yeah all right so gas is on the right all right we got fuel we are headed to the ring and we are probably going to be the last person on the track today so there's there's a good chance we might not make it on track this is going to be one of those scenarios where it's like fingers cross everything works in our favor but there's a high likelihood that uh it won't and that just means it's not meant to be but it's obviously raining I'm very very grateful uh the throttle cable had some issues and one of the pieces broke off so they got that fixed last minute so we're cutting it really close but I have to give a massive thank you to all the guys over at 247 performance absolutely uh doing their name Justice and putting 24/7 time in this thing to get it ready so I can drive it but I think right now already given the circumstances I'm pretty keen on keeping the car here so I can do some dry laps man's tempting not to slide that right now um relax I know I haven't even really rung this thing out I want to I've been short shifting a God I love how py these motors are they have a lot more torque than the s54 I feel it might just be the car but like just a no my don't that right yeah you felt that your neck okay yeah my barely barely okay I'm not used to that in E36 yeah it's pretty good yeah usually E36 is are like so I'm really excited Misha is going to help me set up cameras got to give him a massive thank you too for spending so much time with us today um but uh yeah he's definitely got the nurburging camera set up down pat and I get very anxious when I'm about to go drive and I last thing I want to do is set up cameras and rush and miss my one lap with this thing so I'm also very very thankful I want to give another massive thank to BC uh BC got my custom DS's built for this thing in like 3 days I think they're pretty much overnighted to get them here in time that way I didn't have to drive the car on stock suspension so I'm very thankful and it rides beautifully too um I'm a very very big advocate of the DS series because of the digressive dampers you get to have a nice compliant ride but when you have big bumps and stuff too it's able to blow through and kind of let the car not just be bouncy um also mod tube design which is much much better and more ideal for the performance type stuff you do but you don't lose any of the ride with it as well so think sounds spicy we're doing it we have made it we have very little time and you are helping me major with all of the GoPros we are going to get out and we're going to let the nring GoPro Pro GoPro Pro help us out majorly yes if you enjoy these angles you know where to find more of them and GoPro if you enjoy 500 videos a year of me making with GoPros reach shout for some brand deal me too please both of us maybe collab yeah it's very cool too we get to meet via and her what do you call this box yeah so if we had more time we were hoping to get a lap with you fingers crossed we can even get a lap but um you are an absolute Maniac of a driver and we've enjoyed watching you shred especially with Misha it's very fun all the videos of her just passing like everyone nuring it's awesome thank you thanks Volkswagen uh Polo 6 and one GTI with 120 horsepower I have a bin b14 inside old one um it's F cage so this is yeah it's a w cage and you just drive this on the street uh yeah yeah it's a street car I love it oh that's awesome are you going to go out on track when we go out on track wait what is what is this we can do this this um on my lips with this car oh my gosh but but I yeah yeah on the notcher yeah wow oh my goding uh btg time um I love it how how often I got vealed what does that mean um I don't know when you have a crash and someone come to pick you up it does you get towed when you get towed yes you got you got recovered that many times no no no there are lips from this year only eight times only eight times it looks like the there yeah I need to change it a bit I love that that's so cute you keep track all of it that's awesome that's very so cool I love it we're set we're set yeah let's go okay maybe we can even do two laps just to put this out there especially for video I am planning to very much so take time this is brand new car that we obviously have seen there's a lot of yes things so this is this is more of a celebratory Cruise yes celebration of life of E36 but it's still very important to me to have you in the car kind of like keeping me of the track just cuz even even sometimes like those celebratory cruises are where you'll bite yourself because you think you're just doing a cruise lap and then you just way too soft on the brakes boom all right welcome on the nerv cring I'm pretty nervous it's been a while yeah it has been so do you have to leave after every lap yes unfortunately you have to come off after every lap so there's there'll be no one coming from behind them no no at least not from here not now there's vaa behind you which like Fast um go through the cones going through the cones and then accelerate out and you aim for the middle of the track so flat flat flat yeah how are these tires in the range they're okay they're not perfect uh but they should be okay most important thing is that you stay on the outside of the corners because that's where you uh have the most grip in the wet because the dry line is super slippery that's where all the rubber is so staying on right speed is fine going to the bottom and stay out of the standing water yeah so to the right and now to the left curb and right curb and the straight smooth line speed is okay so and then very good and then towards the middle and now on The Brak a bit and turning in left and staying on the left side try to stay see her better okay and stay on the outside stay outside outside outside very good and crossing over to the left side and stay left yeah that's how slippery it is staying on the outside and crossing over very good perfect this is probably the least ideal conditions to be driving right now on a brand new car and staying on the right so go right I trust my car on the brakes and it's yellow so this means slow down to 100 cuz there might be a car crash yeah yeah there is most likely car crashed so staying oh there it is oh wow yeah do not put that in the video either cuz then I'm going to get in trouble for yeah anyway why would you get in trouble uh because you're not allowed to show crashes and I'm with you and I so yeah all right so staying on the outside okay yeah that's where the grip is very good off the brakes very good let it roll and on the gas perfect and then staying on the middle yeah green flag very good and on the brake stay in the middle break more more more Let Go turning in and stay on the outside break a bit this is very slippery here yeah and crossing over very good and staying on the right side and stay right perfect to the outside that's just we're basically driving off the racing line because there's more grip the racing line would have more rubber on it yes which then doesn't disapp o I get a photo yes let's go yeah all right stay off on the brakes let go now let them pass eyes on the road watching out here now I chase them down stay gently through here not too much on the gas cuz here is slippery on the inside and now you can go there you good middle very nice perfect keep on the gas speed is fine to the uphill left part of the track and staying on the left side so stay left very good stay left yeah break a bit let go and stay left just through the outside going to the outside very good I guess gently through the outside very nice and keeping on the gas there's so much going on between the rain the windshield wipers the other yeah F on your ass it's pretty cool C it's going to be the best part of the video I forgot with the rear camera she's probably just playing around back watch her start sliding the corners yeah so going in a straight line to the right side of the truck and staying on the right side very good on the brakes let go and through the middle gently on the gas not too much very good keep stay yes and stay on the right side off the braking off the dry braking Zone break so stay middle is cuz here is going to be more wet okay let go and Dre the outside part of this um for me is just it's just cool being on the ring again like going underneath this bridge that's my favorite part yeah yeah yeah yeah looks so all right and then this this downhill section so fun yes probably sketchy in the rain now uh now it's new TX so you can go pretty much flat cuz it's all grippy surface rain y wow yeah well we're not doing that no L than that and then staying on the right side speed is okay going to the right in the back seat clap that's great yeah and staying right speed is okay tiny bit on the brake let go turn it don't take the curb like in the game cuz it's new yeah and stay on the outside on the left side messing with me not taking the racing line I know I got pretty good on your sim before we went out yeah now it's completely different story also here stay out stay right don't go to the inside this cor I always crash yeah and then crossing over to the left side where the graffiti is very good I mean it's got quite a bit of grip yeah all right going in a straight line and us staying on the right side all the way throughout the next corner so very good straight staying right how the how's the suspension feel on the car you like it yeah not bad yeah it's not bad staying right on the brakes a bit and stay right don't go to the inside let's go the brakes yeah very good the staying on the outside it's hard for my head to compr I know stay now left and break to the right side so breaking off the dry line so you avoid the rubber on the braking and crossing over very good and gently left and staying left now middle and on the brakes break break break more more more yeah ABS going full and move to the middle for the car to rotate there if you turn in on the wrong time with the brakes yeah all right so right side transitioning to the left curb let go the brakes no brake speed is fine to the outside left staying left this is AR scary yeah break a bit and stay on the outside stay out completely very good do you ever get scared riding fter yes that's why I stopped doing it I still came like one of the biggest shocks for me before was when you're riding faster with me i' never been on before and I felt like you had a lot of trust in me and you were pushing me pretty hard for someone like hadn't done a lot of track driving didn't know anything about the ring I was young and stupid back then yeah I have a family now all right and a beautiful dog thank you staying left yeah oh look at her drifting yeah yeah with the front wheel drive I love it yeah all right staying left I'm going to the right side side and on the brakes very good staying out completely here is very slippery on the left so and CH on the G and staying left that banner I can't see at all yeah I guess out here might L grip yep it's okay sometimes I like losing grip so you know like where the threshold is otherwise when you're always under then when it happens like o yeah yeah yeah staying right all right one of my favorite videos from The Ring is uh Lee's rain dance video ah yeah I watch that video sometimes when I give you hyped yeah watching him just passing all the cars around the and stay Lefty the opp stay left left inside is very slippery stay left has she done a lot of laps in the rain yeah yeah she's amazing in the rain like especially if she has the E36 she goes everywhere sideways I love it yeah this car feels like really good powerwise it feels healthy yeah maybe I don't know stay on the G speed is fine it's okay going straight to the right speed is fine here you can take the left side cuz it's a new tarmac so you can go on the inside left curve there go good perfect maintain acceleration all is good all is nice perfect perfect and straight to the right side and also here stay more on the outside when you take the left hander okay and again and gently on the gas there he is staying left under the trees where it's dry speed is fine I need to Y all right staying on the middle uh break stra straight to the outside and stay on the outside it's funny having her behind me if it was anyone else I'd be so anxious to see if her go back and forth dancing around you all right here can break out maybe okay all right staying left under the tree breaking Zone where it's dry are we going in the yeah of course this is my favorite F wo oh she SL oh God that was cool yeah wait there's another one of those right yeah yeah there's another one got film all right so stay out all is good thing sounds good when I rev it out yeah it's so quiet staying on the right there he good stay inside yeah stay left I can feel the rubber yeah and middle stay in the middle for the braking Zone break straight to the outside very good very good uh going straight to the orange barrier oh oh good job uh outside on the rubber yeah wow staying out crossing over to the right car behind us so eyes on the road but you can take the right curb if you want to go on the curb full on the curb full on the curb full on the curb okay now I have nice picture stay middle like he does Breaking dry wet line to the outside he knows what he's doing yeah he's moving yeah yeah and he's taking good lines and break straight staying on the outside like he does there he good God it's just so terrifying cuz then you don't have the run off staying left and Brak to the outside yeah stay outside idea yep take the outside all the time middle take the middle so w line breaking straight to the outside staying out out out very good middle and also from the middle you go on the brakes to the outside here is extremely slippery on the inside very good I might get to do our first pass I know yeah go pass yeah you you yeah you can pass very good you can take the inside here is good it's a new tarmi here yeah very good perfect middle and going straight on the brakes to the outside let go very good perfect and stay left very good and straight very good and staying middle going straight to the outside to the right side very good woo roll yeah and straight to the left side there we get perfect and straight and left side very good and try to the middle side and break on the left stay left and go and to the outside very good and straight to the right side brakes very good and staying right and middle there again so yeah yeah and there there it good middle so and straight line breaking very good on the outside yeah very good and stay out throughout the whole Corner staying on the outside very good here we are the Finish Line well I mean the bridge technically I mean like where do we leave the track H where the fog is okay in the game I usually just keep going you know yeah yeah well that's it I got to say like I think the rain and the fog and the new car and everything made me a lot more nervous of course but like yeah I mean I was expeced to come out here like swinging you know yeah yeah after running a 7 minute LA on your S I was like oh I'm going to up yeah and then you get out here in the rain in a new car and you're just like and there's a little poo pushing you from behind it's like come on dude you can do it you didn't say much how was the back seat uh not bad I was filming but I like this was like 10 out of 10 probably worst scenario conditions to drive in with the fog rolling in last minute yeah car did great yeah car survived so that's good I love that she was on your ass the whole time it's going to make the video so fun you just keep going back to the back camera it's like a podcast just having an extra in the back just weird weird stuff yeah yeah yeah where we exactly so we're going straight to Vulcan or you want to hang out here uh let's hang out here and take a couple photos then go to the right then you can then Park up somewhere Drew just got done doing a lap in his E36 touring how was it anything exciting happen it was yeah yeah we we uh we got a little fishy at the on the rear end twice yeah so I gave it a little extra speed but it was great great man my adrenaline's pumping you passed anybody I passed one car it was the same car you passed it it was the land ro oh heck yeah dude did you get the meat sweats while you're were passing we made that comment a couple times yeah four Dudes and and 150 lbs of crap in the back of the car so um definitely the wagon handled man I'm glad I did it it's pretty crazy to thing this is our last day here at the Newberg ring literally the last 10 minutes of the session we both got it on track so and I pulled out with uh 1 minute to spare but they closed the again anyway I was going to do a second lap but it's probably good that I didn't it same yeah amazing what did you just ask me do you know what a fly off is does it have to do with racing yes drifting specifically a fly off maybe a fly off flying off track no I see it's not normal what the I was thinking it's it's a hydro she was like maybe if I have a fly off it'll work and I'm like oh what and she was like she thought it was Universal oh the handbrake yeah they they fly off what but she can look up fly off and product show up really maybe that's why we don't sell any handbrakes to Germany it all makes sense now we got to change the name on the website I'm plus you just looking at me dead seriously you don't know how to fly what the so you're a drift girl and you don't know to flyer Hydro that's so funny we could call Hydro handbrake uh fly off fly off so normally heard fly off so now you learn something for me okay fly off I like fly I'm going to start saying that to other people and act like why don't you know this everyone knows we finally get to see our two cars next to each other yes and then also next to the most probably one of the most famous e36s of all time geobaz look at this line up I'm really happy Larry I got the same meaty Tire fitment as you check that out we all got look at this hot rod bro excited about this I said it was the nicest E36 in the parking lot I'm just so excited about this and also the owner he's so talented if you guys haven't seen his work oh you definitely have seen his work if you watch Adam's Channel because uh he gets tagged in a lot of his memes geoz yeah there goes the mighty m44 this is what came in my car uh that um competing drift Masters in one of these things Prett is it good no wait wait wait hey you know no I appreciate him because he is the only E36 content creator that is telling the truth spreading the truth I appreciate him even more now you know last night at the ner room we went to one of the restaurants that has a ton of cool memorabilia on the wall we went here forever ago when I went here but still so cool to see Super Cool vibe signatures everywhere old broken car parts you name it on the way back to the hotel I'm very excited cuz I get to drive the custom e91 touring M3 not only is this thing an M3 that is a wagon but it also has a stroker motor so these things are kind of underwhelming they come with a 4 L it revs high and they sound great but power-wise not the greatest this thing though got a 4.6 stroker do you know how much more power it makes in stock five 500's good like to the wheels okay still though that's that's some good numbers that's like GT3 so I'm excited the the Mustang in the background wow a Mustang in Germany just in time crazy this thing is a beautiful car so PSI built this the shop that we used to be neighbors with and I've been dying to see it and drive it in person funny that I get to drive it in Germany yeah I've driven manual e92 but never GCT I just remember the first time I drove one of these I was kind of underwhelmed it it's funny like all the the E46 and the e92 both feel like very flat down low in half a mile yeah they don't have a low down tool cuz they designed the first exit I really hope there's a place where I can get on it a little bit well we can always do it l true this is one of the best sounding engines ever made yeah it's great you know what else I love the E39 m5s yeah it's one of my favorite cars they've gotten so expensive thank you I just want a little sound clip it feels good and the roundout take the first exit in a qu of a mile are you ready wow man it just keeps pulling I feel like it it definitely livens up the mid-range of the motor a lot where before it was like very peaky I won't floor it that hard induction noise is good does this have a fancy airb yeah it has the full we ventury system all right that makes sense nice little cheeky plug yeah so has eventy PL him an intake and Acro poage exhaust that's like my favorite thing is when you have a car where it's got a really nice balance of induction noise and exhaust I hate it when the exhaust is so loud you can't hear the intake it doesn't run it out I don't know if I've ever said this in a video but believe it or not my very first car that I ever wanted was a white E36 M3 uh if you guys are from Newtown Connecticut you'll know of a place called caruo Pizza there was a white four-door E36 M3 that was sitting in the parking lot I so badly wanted it from my first car uh I don't think the parents were very into the idea of being a sports car but uh I just remember the The Twist s skirts being like dang that's the coolest thing I knew nothing about it but that was enough to get me to kind of research and fall in love with BMWs which I W up getting just a way less cool version but um so it's kind of cool full circle for this to be the actual first real E36 M3 I've ever own and in the night after a very successful day in front of the nerur gring sign doing a little photo shoot with the three cars with the man the myth the legend what is he shooting on these days believe it or not it's my cell phone thank you again Drew for making all this happen yeah man thanks for joining I'm very excited for the future of eag as am I I appreciate you being involved man of course I know you've gone through quite the ringer to make this trip happen and uh it is no small feat to have three cars in Germany be able to go around the ring together no it's been a crash course for me to purchase a car out of any country in western Europe and try and get it service and track ready in time but we made it uh we made it happen with I think 10 minutes to spare I hope you know this is going to turn into a thing where people are now going to expect eag European Delivery don't ask it's not going to happen this is a this is a onetime thing and it's only for you and him so kind of a little you say that now I think we're going to probably end the video here otherwise I'll just keep going forever we're staying in a really cool hotel that's like literally right over there it's got cool car mbil and stuff I think it's called lner or something like that so if you ever come highly recommend it and uh both the food places that we went I'll see if I can put in the description of course massive thank you to everyone help make this happen BC 24/7 performance of course Enthusiast Auto Group Misha and everyone else has been a part of this so thank you guys I'll see you soon\n"
