The Author's Gaming Setup and Room Tour
The author is excited to show off their gaming setup and living room, which has undergone some changes with the recent move. They have set up a comfortable space for gaming and entertainment, featuring a desk with various components such as RGB lights, a dream screen, and a Vio Soundbar.
The author begins by showcasing their RGB lights, which they have acquired from Amazon for a relatively affordable price of $20. These lights can be easily customized to change colors and patterns, making them perfect for back lighting. The author also mentions that they have a separate strip of RGB lights on the floor, which is one of their favorite pieces of tech from 2016. This dream screen technology allows it to read what's going on on the TV screen in extended LED light view, effectively extending the TV's display and making it easier on the eyes.
The author highlights the features and benefits of this dream screen technology, stating that it adds a new dimension to the viewing experience. They also mention that it is ideal for gamers who want to enhance their gaming experience with full 5.1 surround sound. The author is particularly excited about this feature, as they have used the Vio Soundbar in conjunction with satellite speakers on their headboard, providing an immersive audio experience.
The author then moves on to showcase their Vio Soundbar, which they believe is one of the best soundbars they've ever used. They mention that the TV's built-in audio can be lacking, but this soundbar significantly improves the overall audio experience. The soundbar also comes with its own subwoofer, providing a powerful and impressive audio experience. The author is thrilled to have this setup in their living room, as it elevates their gaming and entertainment experiences.
The author takes a moment to acknowledge that they are getting tired and having difficulty focusing on themselves while speaking. They apologize for any mistakes or inconsistencies and assure the audience that they will do their best to get everything down in the article. The author also thanks the viewers for watching and invites them to subscribe to their channel, as they will be breaking down their entire new gaming setup in a Vlog series.
Finally, the author concludes by saying goodbye, formally ending the video tour of their gaming setup and living room. They express excitement about sharing their upcoming Vlog series with their audience and invite viewers to follow them on Twitter for updates and behind-the-scenes content.
"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enwhat's up guys I'm random Frank P here with the last ever gaming setup and room tour in this room for most of you who've been following me and been keeping up to date with the channel you'll know that I'm in the middle of moving right now to a brand new apartment with my very own dedicated YouTube office and a brand new gaming setup this has all just been in my bedroom for the past few year so it's all been just very cramped and I am very excited to bring you guys a brand new gaming setup that I think in my opinion is 10 times better than this I'm really pumped to do uh to show that off for you guys so make sure you're subscribed if you want to see the whole Vlog and moving process of me breaking this down and building a new one in the new studio uh so I figured we'd do one last gaming setup for the summer of 2016 so we can look back and reminisce on pretty much where and how the Channel all started with this gaming setup so let's check it out all right so starting off we're going to begin literally right where every video starts off and that is right in front of the camera not going to spend too much time on this it's not really gaming setup related uh but I figured guys give you like a little rundown of it so you can check it out uh my camera itself is the Blackmagic Ursa mini and the lens is the dub the YouTube lens it's the sigma R1 18 to35 got a little follow focus on here so I could easily adjust the focus and on top is the uh Blackmagic video assist it's so I can see myself when I'm filming see me waving now and uh it's on a man froto head and tripod not too sure it's the specific model but I'll put them all in the description for you guys and you can see it's on this sort of slider here that is the Rhino slider with the Rhino control so mainly for just like when I'm doing b-roll as you can see I can control it all here uh not necessarily for in front of the camera but it's just great for getting really smooth and controlled panning shots uh really great stuff got some soft boxes here for some foreground and background lighting and my main microphone is the Sennheiser MK 600 this is where all my on camera audio comes from so yeah don't want to spend too much time on this but I figured I'd give you guys a little overview of my video recording equipment here I'll put this back over and talk about my main setup now and while we're while we're at it I'll talk about the uh the chair first because this is my newest edition just picked it up a few weeks ago it is the Herman Miller mbody chair and yes you may be thinking to yourself This is extremely Overkill a $1,200 chair actually got it for a discount of around 900 still kind of pricey but in my opinion uh very very uh worth it I do have lower back problems as it is and the amount of time I sit here editing and doing all stuff for the channel uh it it gets it hurts my back after a while and this is great for that it is a very comfortable chair so when I'm gaming streaming video editing this this is what I'm sitting in and it is a dream a little overpriced yes but it's a great chair uh getting into the main desk stuff I'll start over here uh real quick just over to the side this is just like you know junk drawers bins underneath where I can just throw you know random stuff little gadgets tons of cables and this is my main microphone for recording uh like voiceovers and stuff on the channel you'll hear it is the Audio Technica at2020 and right now you're hearing the clip mic digital which is going right to my phone right now so hopefully this sounds good I'll show you that later on uh my main pair of headphones will start just right on top of the desk this is actually just mainly for when I'm live streaming uh these are the Audio Technica M50 XS in white I have the black dbrand skins on them for some you know color accents the brain waves earpads and the ant lion mod mic again this is just for streaming pretty much so I could just easily talk to chat I have a video on this that I put out like a week or so if you're interested in you can check that out but I'd say my main pair of cans are my AKG K7 XX headphones uh got these last year they're limited edition these are my main gaming headphones I'd say they're amazing uh very wide Sound Stage they have that open back uh Grill design here so it is just one of my favorite pairs of headphones of all time and that's connected to the uh the grace design m9xx also have a video on this put it out a few weeks ago as well and this is just you know for getting the most out of your headphones driving them uh easily controllable with the volume knob up top so I can just easily adjust the volume on the Fly and into my main peripherals and this has been my main set for the past few months now the mouse is the Logitech art uh not artm Spectrum the g602 Proteus Spectrum it is pretty much a protus core but with the new RGB lights inside and my everyday keyboard is the corset k70 uh rapid fire love this thing to death ever since I got it I can't go back love these quick rapid fire switches so this has been my main keyboard since this came out but underneath my desk I do keep a few other ones that I've used in the past and if I want to switch out I can uh right here this is what I used to use pretty for few weeks is the Black Widow X chroma keyboard This is the varmo vb87m I want to say it is a uh a Bluetooth Wireless mechanical keyboard literally zero input lag at all U Cherry clear switches with white LED lights inside I love the way it looks with the all blank you know appearance of the white top keys and the black keyboard definitely uh definitely one of my favorite ones that I don't show off too often but it is a great keyboard and this is a keyboard that I've used uh from October to I guess like I don't know April the Corsair strafe RGB another amazing keyboard from Corsair there love this one and then next to that was the keyboard that got the channel pretty much kickstarted and that was my first back when it was just the Corsair Vengeance this is the uh k70 RGB before they rebranded this is actually I'm giving this away this is a signed keyboard of mine it is going to a uh a patreon donator on my patreon page one lucky person will get this in next month's or July's uh mystery tech box so that would go away to someone my you if you're lucky and if you're a patreon donator uh coming back up I guess I'll talk about the PC now I just got the HTC Vive controllers there and headset up top fortunate enough to get that when it first came out wasn't any problems with backwat or anything so been rocking that a great headset I recommend this 10 times more than I would the uh the Oculus but as for my PC this is the white uh NZXT h440 of course I got my random Frank P logo 3D printed there this been my main PC for the past I guess a year now it's my main editing and gaming rig uh inside as you can see all black and white components to match the whole black and white kind of aesthetic and themed in my setup here uh but as far as what I have going on I'll put this the all the specs down below got 32 GB of the white hyperx Ram i74790k CPU with the Corsair liquid cooler on there the 980 TI Hall of Fame from G uh they are putting out a 1080 so I might be picking that up soon I also going to have a completely new build once I move so I've been look out for that and the nzx TQ plus which for some you know white accent lighting in here also have some like underglow and some background lights around the desk they're they're really cheap they're like 10 bucks get these like desk lights and then I guess that'll lead me into the monitors uh the bottom one is the newer one from LG the LG 34 U c98 want to say it's a 1440p panel very very great pixel density I love the way things look on this and as you can see a very slight curve throughout the monitor uh I actually really like it it's it's a lot better than I thought it would be I thought I would hate it for you know like editing since I want like straight lines to align things properly but it's very subtle which is awesome and up top is the LG 3467 I want to say it's their first Ultra wide panel um I have this all like Frankenstein rigged back here it's not supposed to be like that but I just rigged it so I can have the two stacked Ultra wides also have a video on that as per usual as well as pretty much everything on this desk that I've talked about yeah those are the two main panels and stay tuned because when I move and have my new gaming set up I'm going to have three of these in like a triangular kind of orientation so be on the lookout for that and then my desk which everyone always asks about and I got last year it is the human solution uplift desk 900 reason reason it's to call that is because it is completely motorized it is a sit stand desk you can program certain defaults it goes from 27 in all the way up to I believe like 49 in so you can be sitting or you could adjust it to uh go up and use it as a standing desk if you don't want to be sitting all day and I like this mainly because uh for like doing product reviews and getting certain shots of products I don't have to keep changing the tripod around I can just adjust the desk and get different angles and stuff like that so altogether a really really awesome desk and I love the whole black and white aesthetic I got going on uh up top we have the silver uh play button here from YouTube for hitting 100,000 subscribers got that in I believe August and just some boxes some black and white boxes of things I have in my setup uh people loved the Shelf last time so I figured I'd show it off again and as far as some of the little things like the portal Century turret here and the uh the nauy notification device and this acrylic headphone stand I'll put most stuff that you guys can see I didn't talk about in the description so just be on the lookout down there but as far as my desk set up I think that's going to wrap that up I think I covered everything one thing I didn't really talk about which CU I didn't want to show it off yet is the Razer man of war make sure you're subscribe if you want to see this just got done reviewing it and it's definitely pretty good I still more of a headphones guy instead of a headset guy but be on the lookout for that if you're into razor headsets it's definitely one of their best so yeah like I said that is my main gaming desk setup over here and now we'll switch to my entertainment setup let's get this thing off of idle and let's turn these lights off so you guys can see the main sort of uh how it looks here I'll probably be throwing a lot of b-roll over this you guys can get better angles and better footage of the stuff that I have but uh this is the my whole kind of entertainment setup with my TV Xbox One and PS4 people like to you know be Fanboys and accuse me of even being fan F boy but I do have the Xbox One and the PS4 down here uh this kind of like floating shelf was made by my grandfather and I two summers ago or maybe three summers ago now and you see it has this like kind of floating appearance that's mounted to the wall it would look much better if it weren't for the cables down there charging stuff right now yeah holds the consoles got a little section down here for some games and uh just little like storage stuff over here got uh some batteries and charging cables for the Xbox and my Elgato capture card this is pretty much mainly used for just getting some some footage if I want to put it on YouTube for like benchmarking or just showing off some footage um also for streaming console games this is be used for that yeah so this is the main uh sort of entertainment center this TV is the LG I'm sorry I'm talking about the monitors LG is a Vio TV that I got wow like 3 4 years ago now so it's kind of obsolete but it still works fine for me it's a 1080p screen green so not really four we're not up to 4K yet but it's always worked fine for me uh also down here for the Xbox and it's what I mostly play got the lunar white Xbox controller I like the whole black and white look to it with the uh the texture on the back which is really nice as well as the uh Xbox One Elite controller kind of overpriced yes but uh for what it is I think it's an awesome controller definitely a great console peripheral if you are a extreme gamer I'm really not so I don't use it too often but uh if you're an Xbox owner this is definitely a must have and while we're down here I also point out that my uh my main kind of headset that I use for the Xbox one uh isn't actually a headset at all it is the voto cross fade Wireless they're very high-end pair of headphones definitely the best sounding headphones uh wireless headphones I've ever used extremely nice comfortable and I believe I have the uh the Voda like boom mic whatever it's called for extreme Crystal Clear chat quality when I'm chatting to my friends on like Xbox live and stuff so I don't use a gaming headset when I'm playing Xbox this is my uh definite go-to and I figured I'd show these real quick these are these Crystal Pokémon balls that I got a few months ago I don't think they're sold anymore pretty sure the owner got like a cease and assist letter but they are awesome Crystal Pokemon balls they used to sell like every Pokemon got a Blastoise and a Charizard one over here they also have like Venusaur and pretty much all the Pokemon you can think of for the first gen and they were making so I have these uh on display back here then behind the TVs where it kind of gets interesting again b-roll I'll be throwing up right now uh but I have two strips of RGB lights uh the first strip is just a simple ones you can get them like Amazon for like 20 bucks you can very easily you know change the colors of and change like the pattern and the strobing functions all that stuff uh just great for back lighting and the one underneath I have a whole strip around here is the dream screen did a video on this I was one of their uh promoters for the company for videos and this is one of my favorite pieces of tech for 2016 uh it pretty much reads what's going on on your TV know it's kind of hard to focus here uh but it shows what's going on your TV in extended LED light view so think of these LED lights how I have them now but pretty much going to whatever is on your screen it kind of helps extend it it's easier on your eyes and I think it just looks really really awesome they got some great stuff going on over a dream screen I think it's definitely a must have for a gamer for playing Xbox One or PS4 or if you just want to have in the living room for when you're watching TV uh just adds kind of a new like Dimension to your uh your viewing experience and then lastly behind here I believe uh is my Vio Soundbar and this I think is definitely uh one of my favorite sound bars that I've ever used the T the audio on the TV isn't the best so I Happ this huge sound bar really just bumps the volume to a whole new level and it's also connected to the satellite speakers on my headboard here so it gives you full 5.1 surround sound so when you're playing you know like GTA you can hear the cars whizzing by you or you're playing Battlefield you can hear gunshots going by you what's also cool pup says hi is uh underneath the bed it also comes with its own subwoofer so literally you can be gaming and have an explosion go off and will feel the explosion it's a very powerful and I think definitely worthy subwoofer I mean uh just overall sound barar I think it was maybe like $250 for this and just getting that whole 5.1 surround sound experience with this is awesome uh so yeah this is the main kind of entertainment rig I have over here like I said earlier I have my uh my desk set up I'll put the lights back on so we can see better and I think I got everything explained so like I said if you're seeing this video right now it's because I'm in the middle of moving where I'll be having a whole new gaming setup so make sure you subscribe for that because I'm going to be breaking this down doing a whole Vlog series on moving and a whole new movie on gaming on getting my entire new setup uh pretty much built it's going to be really really awesome and I think I said everything I wanted to say if you saw something in here that I didn't mention let me know in the comments down below and I'll try to put it in like in the description for you guys or I'll comment back to you but I think I got everything let's see can I focus on myself all right so yeah this is the clip mic digital that I've been using for the audio the whole time I hope it sounds good and my camera is the the G4 no no no no no what is this I completely forgot cuz I haven't used it in a while uh G7 it's the G7 the Panasonic G7 so that's pretty much going to do it guys I do hope you enjoyed my room tour for the summer of 2016 the last room tour in this room like I said moving right now so uh definitely make sure you're subscribe because the whole new gaming setup that I'll be building I think is going to be better than this I very very pumped to get that going uh so be on the lookout for that hey guys I hope you enjoyed again if you have any questions on anything comment down below feel free to hit me up on Twitter at randomfrankp and if you're not already hit that subscribe button losing my voice now when talking too talking too much I'm getting tired so yeah check the description literally for everything I've showed off I'll do my my best to get it all down there and uh for the third time in a row me saying goodbye I will formally say goodbye hope you enjoyed all that good stuff and uh I'll see you guys soonwhat's up guys I'm random Frank P here with the last ever gaming setup and room tour in this room for most of you who've been following me and been keeping up to date with the channel you'll know that I'm in the middle of moving right now to a brand new apartment with my very own dedicated YouTube office and a brand new on your TV in extended LED light view so think of these LED lights how I have them now but pretty much going to whatever is on your screen it kind of helps extend it it's easier on your eyes and I think it just looks really really awesome they got some great stuff going on over a dream screen I think it's definitely a must have for a gamer for playing Xbox One or PS4 or if you just want to have in the living room for when you're watching TV uh just adds kind of a new like Dimension to your uh your viewing experience and then lastly behind here I believe uh is my Vio Soundbar and this I think is definitely uh one of my favorite sound bars that I've ever used the T the audio on the TV isn't the best so I Happ this huge sound bar really just bumps the volume to a whole new level and it's also connected to the satellite speakers on my headboard here so it gives you full 5.1 surround sound so when you're playing you know like GTA you can hear the cars whizzing by you or you're playing Battlefield you can hear gunshots going by you what's also cool pup says hi is uh underneath the bed it also comes with its own subwoofer so literally you can be gaming and have an explosion go off and will feel the explosion it's a very powerful and I think definitely worthy subwoofer I mean uh just overall sound barar I think it was maybe like $250 for this and just getting that whole 5.1 surround sound experience with this is awesome uh so yeah this is the main kind of entertainment rig I have over here like I said earlier I have my uh my desk set up I'll put the lights back on so we can see better and I think I got everything explained so like I said if you're seeing this video right now it's because I'm in the middle of moving where I'll be having a whole new gaming setup so make sure you subscribe for that because I'm going to be breaking this down doing a whole Vlog series on moving and a whole new movie on gaming on getting my entire new setup uh pretty much built it's going to be really really awesome and I think I said everything I wanted to say if you saw something in here that I didn't mention let me know in the comments down below and I'll try to put it in like in the description for you guys or I'll comment back to you but I think I got everything let's see can I focus on myself all right so yeah this is the clip mic digital that I've been using for the audio the whole time I hope it sounds good and my camera is the the G4 no no no no no what is this I completely forgot cuz I haven't used it in a while uh G7 it's the G7 the Panasonic G7 so that's pretty much going to do it guys I do hope you enjoyed my room tour for the summer of 2016 the last room tour in this room like I said moving right now so uh definitely make sure you're subscribe because the whole new gaming setup that I'll be building I think is going to be better than this I very very pumped to get that going uh so be on the lookout for that hey guys I hope you enjoyed again if you have any questions on anything comment down below feel free to hit me up on Twitter at randomfrankp and if you're not already hit that subscribe button losing my voice now when talking too
