Let's Get Back to the Phone

If you buy this phone for 300 bucks, okay? Say you don't want the eight version, you just want the $300 version. This phone is going to feel like a flagship phone. The only thing you're going to notice right now, cuz even Quad HD displays if you don't really use them like that you might not even notice the difference. So we're not even going to talk about that. The only thing you'll notice right now from using this phone as opposed to using the Xiaomi 13 Ultra, all right, the Supreme Flagship from Xiaomi. The only thing you would notice is not the build quality, not the battery, not the speakers. Maybe not even a display. You'll notice that the Wireless charge okay, no Wireless charge. That's a little feature I like to have.

The Only Thing You'll Notice

Now if you're not a big photogenic person, all maybe you're not a full-time photographer content creator. You just take pictures here and there. You don't really care about that. This phone is going to absolutely feel like a flagship phone. And I would be proud, especially with the eight version. I would be proud to pull this out of my pocket. Let's see how it looks at the case. I'm sorry look at this yo bro come on come on. I think with this one though, let me see. I think I would probably rock the case when I go to the gym but when I'm having my dinners you're going to see this in one of my Instagram posts. I'd probably have this on the table like this.

Lookwise

Okay now just look wise with one looks better. Look wise, I mean come on come on. You seen this design so many years for so long starts to get annoying but look at this. This is something different. Something new and that green let me say. That green okay why why did I get extra hype but that I'm telling you man. I wish I could have had oh you know what I got another product I'm going to review this week the Facebook glasses y'all know the uh wairs. I got the newer versions those are pretty sick.

New Product Review

I wish I would have been wearing those so y could have caught my natural reaction when the sunlight hit this cuz right now it looks like dark green but when the sunlight hit this and I seen the true color of this bro I couldn't wait to tell y'all about it. Anyway, like I said this is definitely one of the Premier phones that you could get for under 400 bucks actually under 350 all right if you want the eight version 350 but the regular version 300 bucks.

Recommendation

I would highly recommend y'all check this out and again it's going to work on your carriers except for Verizon and if you still OG contract with Sprint like me and you didn't switch over to T-Mobile yet you're not budging they gonna make them G have to make me switch over to T-Mobile 100%. I still got my OG Sprint contact it's not going to work all right it's not going to work but if you got T-Mobile all right if you got AT&T you can definitely rock this in the USA with no issues.

Overall

Anyway, overall on a scale of 1 to 10. I'm giving the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus a major major go and the Redmi 13 Pro Plus AP Edition a major major major go. My biggest gripe would be no Wireless charge okay and I would like to see maybe better night photos but other than that this is an all-around Beast.

the Harry Potter okay the red me note 12 turbo and a lot of people was asking me is the note 13 an upgrade well let's break it down real quick here's the differences between the two first of all the brick hold up I got to clean my throat Samsung Google Apple Sony especially Sony pay attention this is how you do it okay this phone has 20 wat fast charge and they're going to prove it by giving you a charger not to mention do you see his green do you see the charger is green look at the cable okay the cable is green also this is usba a the USB type-c this is pretty sick and now for the phone and let me tell you why this phone blew me away I unboxed it at night so I thought it was black and camouflage I didn't notice until the daytime that this is actually green this is the best looking phone hold up w look at this look at this you got the camouflage you got the Bape logo okay embedded red me there's your flash triple camera setup okay looks very similar to the 12 turbo but look at this this is glass with aluminium hold on now we got to power this up cuz there's some more little goodies in this phone I wish other phone manufacturers would start doing more collaborations I mean cuz this is what people want okay this is what people want as much as we love you know the galaxies and all that this is what we want we want themes watch this hold up watch this now we got to wait let's there there it is look at the camel theme okay let's go ahead and open this up look at the home screen The Big Ape symbol all of the themed icons okay all of them have that green trim but watch this I want to show you something else okay now from your home screen if you want now maybe you're not into the green camo I'm doing that kind of fast we can do red now we got the Red theme just that fast now we got the Red theme now the icon still going to say green but this is just for on the fly like on the Fly changing we can do white okay look at that face unlocking so fast I got to I can't even really look at this we got black Okay Google Samsung that's how Face Unlock is supposed to work and let's do one more we got okay that was the black yeah this is the black okay and of course my absolute favorite this green I'm leaving it on this green but look at the back of the phone one more time this is so sick and when I pull the phone out you immediately going to feel the difference in the build quality the Harry Potter version the plastic it's a lot lighter but it doesn't have that super premium feel to it soon as I took this out of the box I knew this was glass without even looking at the specs it just feels Ultra smooth look at the matte finish on this you could feel that cold aluminium trim okay IR Blaster green this is not black this is green now I know my camera might not do it justice but I didn't notice until I went out in the sunlight when I would to take my um daytime photos I pulled this out and I was like hold up oh this is crazy this is crazy anyway let me uh pause the video delete my browsing history then we'll walk through the OS Talk Amongst yourselves all right yall so we back in now I bought this phone from giztop and this is the Chinese version now a lot of people ask me why do I shop at giztop simple because when you buy Chinese phones they put the Play Store on it for you not to mention you have great customer service but if you buy this phone from anywhere else don't worry about getting the Play Store let me show you how easy it is okay all you got to do is go to get apps all at the me App Store you type in Google Play and you just go to Play Store and install it it's just that simple it's not like back in the days when you had to plug your phone into the computer and download all these apks and all of that no just go to the me store add the Play Store once you do that then you can get Google apps okay and this phone is fully compatible in the USA I'm using it right now on AT&T full service now let's look let's look at this build quality one more time hold on a second I got to wipe this down look at this this is the best looking phone I wish this was a flagship phone because honestly the only thing wrong with this phone and I wouldn't say that is wrong with the phone it just doesn't have a flagship camera and that's what really separates budget phones mid-range phones and Flagship phones it's not really the build quality anymore because a lot of these mid-range phones have glass on the front glass on the back back a lot of them got dual stereo speakers they all sound good they all got nice displays okay but the flagship phones you're going to get Quad HD displays they got a lot of mid-range phones with Wireless charge super fast charge that's not the case the biggest difference between mid-range phones and Flagship phones is the camera and that's the only thing stopping me from having this as one of my daily drivers because a lot of the photos I take are important photos to me so I want to take them with Flagship cameras you're going to see for yourself the camera in this phone is good but it's definitely not Flagship material but for 350 bucks I would say right now the best phone that you could get for 350 bucks would probably be the redmi k60 pro that might be the best one but this right here this is a strong a strong Contender for the best I would call this a budget phone and the reason I say that here's my personal my personal opinion anything under $400 would be budget then 400 to 700 would be mid-range and anything over 700 bucks that's Flagship territory so this phone is under 400 bucks this is a certified budget phone but the uh actual performance of the phone the only thing that you're going to notice that doesn't make this feel like a flagship phone is the camera other than that using this phone on a daily basis it's going to feel like using a xiaomi 13 Pro it's going to feel exactly the same the fingerprint sensor all right let's let's do this step by step build quality this is one of the first redmi phones that's ip68 dust and water resistant okay for 350 bucks really we could call this 300 bucks because you might not want the eight version you might just want the regular black white or purple if you get those that's 300 bucks okay so we're going to call this a $300 phone build quality is immaculate especially with the eight version that money green color oh I need another green phone I bro I I know I know hold on let me just sorry I'm sorry it's cold down here so the nipples is extra like this bro the camouflage on this with the ape logo I just love themed phones but especially the camo this is so me so me there's your flash all right triple camera setup 200 me all 200 megapixel camera now here's the thing when you hear 200 megapixels you be like oh that camera's going to be crazy specs I told you specs on paper don't always translate the specs in real life now 200 megapixels that sounds great but in real life the camera is decent okay I wouldn't even say decent I would say good but I got a lot of phones that have a 50 megapixel camera that will blow this camera out of the water all right so don't let that get you too hype but I will say the camera is pretty dope little red me Brandon okay there's the camo little Vape Insignia on this side you got your power button volume rocker on the top I Blaster there's one of your speakers this side nice and clean cold aluminium there's your SIM tray USB type-c charging slot and another speaker grw okay so ip68 dust and water resistant Gorilla Glass victus on the front glass on the back aluminium frame build quality is excellent next now here's a few things that I do got to talk about always on display you do have the classic xiaomi always on display fully customizable all the notifications but this is not always on display this would be a sometimes always sometimes on display okay because it only stays on for 10 seconds then you got to actually touch the screen to get the always on display back now I noticed a lot of mid-range phones especially from xiaomi and real me and redmi they have the same um uh issue you don't get a full always on display it's not going to stay on all of the time it's only going to stay on for 10 seconds and I'll show you the difference in the settings okay but you do have great always on display let's talk about Biometrics fingerprint sensor amazing okay whoever Works in redmi and xiaomi's fingerprints department they are doing it the best okay Samsung this is how fingerprint s supposed to work Google it's supposed to work just like this all you just tap it and it pops open just like that so the Biometrics on this phone insane not to mention Face Unlock this is a real face unlock you know when you pick up your phone you're not supposed to have to really be concentrating on you just want to look at it and it pops open and I'm doing this from behind the camera y'all see me do this with plenty of phones even with my galaxy from behind the camera I got to really concentrate and look at it this one soon as it sees your face B opens up just like that okay so excellent Biometrics build quality look everything is A1 next now since this is a Chinese phone you're not going to get your Google when you swipe over but they do have a bunch of different widgets so right now I got a little clock widget if I touch it as real you know just like any other clock widget I could do stopwatch uh timers okay you know just a regular clock widget I got the weather if I click on it it's the real weather okay very beautiful and is um if I want I can clean up my Ram okay a lot of ram maximum ramage let me get maximum ramage in there got to Ram it home okay boosted successfully got my battery okay 120 wat fast charge Samsung okay y'all falling behind apple is way behind you charging this phone from Z to 100% in 19 minutes now usually I would say Wireless charge is one of my biggest grapes but when you got that kind of super fast charge you really can't comp plane even if I'm at the airport I got 15 minutes I can just go I got to be one of those noobs sitting by the little charging station sitting on the floor but you're only going to have to sit for 15 minutes and you got a full battery okay I love that now you got you do have the little pet thing like if you want to install now usually have this on my xiaomi phones okay little little cute stuff okay now if you want Google all you got to do is press Google and now you got it's not it's not to swipe over but just press one button there's your Google homepage next let's go through some of the basic settings now this is a xiaomi phone basically redmi xiaomi same so I don't got to go through all of the different settings but I want to show y'all a few okay let's go to connections and sharing okay you got VPN private DNS NFC okay chomecast all of that for 300 bucks okay let's go to wallpapers and personalization now this is what I'm talking about for always on display you see usually you would tap right here and it would say okay do you want it to be tapped for 10 seconds or do you want it to stay always on okay I noticed with a lot of the mid-range and budget redmi and xiaomi phones you don't have that option okay so you only get it for 10 seconds it is what it is okay but you do got a bunch of different uh always on displays to choose from a plethora okay that's that word again you got a plethora of always on displays no need to go through all of them there a bunch okay you got wallpapers now here's another thing there's no super wallpapers Okay that's another thing I noticed with a lot of the uh mid-range xiaomi red me products no super wallpapers I love that but you do have the crystallization I don't know how they could give you crystallization and not the Super wallpapers I I don't get that but it is what it is Bo this is the baap version so I keep saying Bap the eight version okay so we're just going to uh leave it like that but you got your icons okay now if you want you can have the ape themed icons or you can go for something else standard classic Limitless you know go crazy or get more okay of course you got Starlight all right my favorite pulse I'm going to leave it on staright I like when you get the little notification little Starlights you know very cute okay that's it for that let's go to display okay now of course you got your different color schemes I usually leave it on saturated but I'm going with Vivid I I've been going with Vivid lately okay let's leave it on Vivid uh refresh rate 120 htz okay Apple that punk ass iPhone 15$ 120 HZ for $300 this this is what I'm saying this this us as consumers we got to see like this to realize that everything ain't about Apple and Samsung there's other brands right now that are literally killing it if this was a USA sold phone it would be problems for a lot of these companies especially Samsung it would be serious problems okay let's see anything else we need to see here let's go to home screen now you can have your app drawer if you want matter of fact I wanted to show you one more out of the settings you do have face unlock fingerprint sensor you got Smart Lock okay got your emergency SOS you got second space also known as thought protection we'll go over that in a minute let's see anything else we need to see here um let's go to sound okay now you do have dual stereo speakers hold up you got the Dual stereo speakers nice and Loud additional settings okay they all there but this is the one sound effects okay you got Dolby Atmos you got your custom graphics EQ which I like to leave on Full Throttle why not you got your headphones uh remote buttons pretty much everything that you need not anything else we need to see additional settings okay so you do have accessibility if you're hearing or visually impaired everything is on Deck you got a few Gesture Shortcuts okay launch the camera okay double press the power button I'm going to leave that on okay that's my worldall button turn on flashlight you can do that if you want you got uh floating windows okay you got kid space now kid space and second space totally different second space is full-fledged thought protection okay you got OTG okay and that's pretty much it we need to see with the settings this is a beast now it's running Android 13 with MIUI 14 so all of my Android 13 widgets okay looking very Android is real nice my favorite of course YouTube music okay this is my song right here who seen um spiderverse I I panel with the 18800 nits brightness has a little curve in it now yall know I like flat panels a little bit better subtle curves though very subtle little cutout for your camera excellent viewing right so this is how your phone is going to look when you're watching the videos just like that hold up we got to see the waves look at look at the waves bro all right let's keep it moving all right so now let's try a little gaming of course I got Asphalt 9 queued up now remember this is the mediate Tech dimensity 7200 Ultra that's pretty much mid-range if you consider that mediatech is up to the 9300 series already but this is going to perform like a flag chip phone watch this and keep in mind if you're buying this phone for 300 bucks and you're giving it to a little kid this is what they're going to be doing they're going to be gaming so here's how it looks listen to them speakers too okay here we go let me get a little style why not oh okay okay oh they not playing today I'm I'm I'm going take the shortcut this time though I got to start taking the shortcut where's the shortcut oh I missed it oh there it is there it is oh there it is okay let me get a little Nitro what place am I minute because we're starting to reach a plateau okay with these processors qualcom Snapdragon 8 generation one generation 2 now we got the Generation 3 which has a lot more AI on device AI but as far as the way your phone is going to perform in the real world okay we're kind of at a plateau you could buy this phone if this phone had a flagship camera I would not care about the mediate Tech dimensity 72 I wouldn't even care about that if this phone had a flagship camera this would be in my pocket on a daily basis because look how sick this is but nevertheless gaming on your redmi note 13 Pro Plus you're not going to have an issue at all all right so now let's talk about the camera now of course you got your Worldstar Hip Hop button all you got to do press the power button twice bang bring you right to your camera but let's go through the different shooting modes okay so you got documents okay scan all your documents you got 200 megapixels now it does take some great photos but they definitely not Flagship level okay they're on par with the price you got videos now from videos like I said the max is 4K 30 frames per second or you could do 1080p at 60 frames per second on the front 1080p 60 frames per second now you can do wideangle videos all the way up to six times Zoom then you got regular photos Okay you can do wide angle all the way up to 10 times zoom and this does have the macro lens okay hold up look at that okay okay you got the macro lens you got portrait mode change your boka effect you got night mode okay you can do wide angle all the way up to 10 times zoom and you got more so you got PR mode you got Panorama short films slow I time lapse AI Watermark you got the long exposure and you can edit the arrangements now take a look at these test pictures and videos for yourself and you can see what I'm talking about I would say in the daytime it looks amazing but the night photos they weren't too great they weren't too great but for 300 bucks you really can't complain but again seeing is believing check it out for yourself n he now let's talk about one of my favorite features the IR Blaster and on a side note y'all got to give me some credit how many years I kept complaining about IR blasters IR blasters now you see OnePlus is putting IR blasters in all of their new phones I heard through the grapevine that Samsung is thinking about putting IR blasters back on the phone and this is what I'm saying we got to keep complaining about stuff so these companies know that we want it now why do I like the IR Blaster so much okay a lot of smart TVs you can control with your phone but the IR Blaster is more than just TVs okay it's more than just TVs you got your cable box you got your refrigerator you got your projector you got your heater okay basically anything that has a remote control you can pair it up and use your phone as a remote control now take a look at this stock IR Blaster footage here's how I use mines up in the office all right so I'm sitting up in the office I just finished working now I want to turn off all of my TVs using one phone okay so let's start off with the Samsung TVs just like that another one just like that now we'll switch over to lgtv press the button just like that and now let's switch over to Sony TV press the button just like that the IR Blaster is so clutch for me this is a major go all right so now let's talk about second space also known as thought protection basically what that means is you can have two phones at the same time here's how it works now I'm going to open up this okay IR Blaster green this is not black this is green now I know my camera might not do it justice but I didn't notice until I went out in the sunlight when I would to take my um daytime photos I so we back in now I bought this phone from giztop and this is the Chinese version now a lot of people ask me why do I shop at giztop simple because when you buy Chinese phones they put the Play Store on it for you not to mention you have great customer service but if you buy this phone from anywhere else don't worry about getting the Play Store let me show you how easy it is okay all you got to do is go to get apps all at the me App Store you type in Google Play and you just go to Play Store and install it it's just that simple it's not like back in the days when you had to plug your phone into the computer and download all these apks and all of that no just go to the me store add the Play Store once you do that then you can get Google apps okay and this phone is fully compatible in the USA I'm using it right now on AT&T full service now let's look let's look at this build quality one more time hold on a second I got to wipe this down look at this this is the best looking phone I wish this was a flagship phone because honestly the only thing wrong with this phone and I wouldn't say that is wrong with the phone it just doesn't have a flagship camera and that's what really separates budget phones mid-range phones and Flagship phones it's not really the build quality anymore because a lot of these mid-range phones have glass on the front glass on the back back a lot of them got dual stereo speakers they all sound good they all got nice displays okay but the flagship phones you're going to get Quad HD displays they got a lot of mid-range phones with Wireless charge super fast charge that's not the case the biggest difference between mid-range phones and Flagship phones is the camera and that's the only thing stopping me from having this as one of my daily drivers because a lot of the photos I take are important photos to me so I want to take them with Flagship cameras you're going to see for yourself the camera in this phone is good but it's definitely not Flagship material but for 350 bucks I would say right now the best phone that you could get for 350 bucks would probably be the redmi k60 pro that might be the best one but this right here this is a strong a strong Contender for the best I would call this a budget phone and the reason I say that here's my personal my personal opinion anything under $400 would be budget then 400 to 700 would be mid-range and anything over 700 bucks that's Flagship territory so this phone is under 400 bucks this is a certified budget phone but the uh actual performance of the phone the only thing that you're going to notice that doesn't make this feel like a flagship phone is the camera other than that using this phone on a daily basis it's going to feel like using a xiaomi 13 Pro it's going to feel exactly the same the fingerprint sensor all right let's let's do this step by step build quality this is one of the first redmi phones that's ip68 dust and water resistant okay for 350 bucks really we could call this 300 bucks because you might not want the eight version you might just want the regular black white or purple if you get those that's 300 bucks okay so we're going to call this a $300 phone build quality is immaculate especially with the eight version that money green color oh I need another green phone I bro I I know I know hold on let me just sorry I'm sorry it's cold down here so the nipples is extra like this bro the camouflage on this with the ape logo I just love themed phones but especially the camo this is so me so me there's your flash all right triple camera setup 200 me all 200 megapixel camera now here's the thing when you hear 200 megapixels you be like oh that camera's going to be crazy specs I told you specs on paper don't always translate the specs in real life now 200 megapixels that sounds great but in real life the camera is decent okay I wouldn't even say decent I would say good but I got a lot of phones that have a 50 megapixel camera that will blow this camera out of the water all right so don't let that get you too hype but I will say the camera is pretty dope little red me Brandon okay there's the camo little Vape Insignia on this side you got your power button volume rocker on the top I Blaster there's one of your speakers this side nice and clean cold aluminium there's your SIM tray USB type-c charging slot and another speaker grw okay so ip68 dust and water resistant Gorilla Glass victus on the front glass on the back aluminium frame build quality is excellent next now here's a few things that I do got to talk about always on display you do have the classic xiaomi always on display fully customizable all the notifications but this is not always on display this would be a sometimes always sometimes on display okay because it only stays on for 10 seconds then you got to actually touch the screen to get the always on display back now I noticed a lot of mid-range phones especially from xiaomi and real me and redmi they have the same um uh issue you don't get a full always on display it's not going to stay on all of the time it's only going to stay on for 10 seconds and I'll show you the difference in the settings okay but you do have great always on display let's talk about Biometrics fingerprint sensor amazing okay whoever Works in redmi and xiaomi's fingerprints department they are doing it the best okay Samsung this is how fingerprint s supposed to work Google it's supposed to work just like this all you just tap it and it pops open just like that so the Biometrics on this phone insane not to mention Face Unlock this is a real face unlock you know when you pick up your phone you're not supposed to have to really be concentrating on you just want to look at it and it pops open and I'm doing this from behind the camera y'all see me do this with plenty of phones even with my galaxy from behind the camera I got to really concentrate and look at it this one soon as it sees your face B opens up just like that okay so excellent Biometrics build quality look everything is A1 next now since this is a Chinese phone you're not going to get your Google when you swipe over but they do have a bunch of different widgets so right now I got a little clock widget if I touch it as real you know just like any other clock widget I could do stopwatch uh timers okay you know just a regular clock widget I got the weather if I click on it it's the real weather okay very beautiful and is um if I want I can clean up my Ram okay a lot of ram maximum ramage let me get maximum ramage in there got to Ram it home okay boosted successfully got my battery okay 120 wat fast charge Samsung okay y'all falling behind apple is way behind you charging this phone from Z to 100% in 19 minutes now usually I would say Wireless charge is one of my biggest grapes but when you got that kind of super fast charge you really can't comp plane even if I'm at the airport I got 15 minutes I can just go I got to be one of those noobs sitting by the little charging station sitting on the floor but you're only going to have to sit for 15 minutes and you got a full battery okay I love that now you got you do have the little pet thing like if you want to install now usually have this on my xiaomi phones okay little little cute stuff okay now if you want Google all you got to do is press Google and now you got it's not it's not to swipe over but just press one button there's your Google homepage next let's go through some of the basic settings now this is a xiaomi phone basically redmi xiaomi same so I don't got to go through all of the different settings but I want to show y'all a few okay let's go to connections and sharing okay you got VPN private DNS NFC okay chomecast all of that for 300 bucks okay let's go to wallpapers and personalization now this is what I'm talking about for always on display you see usually you would tap right here and it would say okay do you want it to be tapped for 10 seconds or do you want it to stay always on okay I noticed with a lot of the mid-range and budget redmi and xiaomi phones you don't have that option okay so you only get it for 10 seconds it is what it is okay but you do got a bunch of different uh always on displays to choose from a plethora okay that's that word again you got a plethora of always on displays no need to go through all of them there a bunch okay you got wallpapers now here's another thing there's no super wallpapers Okay that's another thing I noticed with a lot of the uh mid-range xiaomi red me products no super wallpapers I love that but you do have the crystallization I don't know how they could give you crystallization and not the Super wallpapers I I don't get that but it is what it is Bo this is the baap version so I keep saying Bap the eight version okay so we're just going to uh leave it like that but you got your icons okay now if you want you can have the ape themed icons or you can go for something else standard classic Limitless you know go crazy or get more okay of course you got Starlight all right my favorite pulse I'm going to leave it on staright I like when you get the little notification little
