Getting Started with the Golden Agent Watch Face on Samsung Gear Devices
Welcome to Tech with Brett, where I help tech work for you. Today, I'm excited to show you how to get the Golden Agent watch face on your Samsung Gear device. This feature will work on the Samsung Gear S2, Gear S3, and even the Gear Sport. To start, we need to head into the Samsung Gear Manager on our Samsung device or Android device.
Once we're in the watch faces section, we can go down to the bottom and select "More" or "Samsung Galaxy apps." I'll select the option to search for the app called Golden Agent. As it turns out, there are a few different options available, including the Golden Agent 24-hour clock and the regular 12-hour clock. The original version of Golden Agent is priced at $1.39, which is a great value if you're interested in trying it out.
To install the watch face, we can either download and apply it directly or manually add it to our watch face. If we select "Apply," the watch face will be added to our device immediately. Alternatively, we can long press on the home screen to access other watch faces and then scroll through to add the Golden Agent watch face.
As we explore the features of the Golden Agent watch face, we'll notice a few quick commands available on the left side of the screen. One of these is a battery life bar, which shows our current battery level throughout the day. We can also track our steps by scrolling down to see how many steps we've taken. The watch face will show us the full battery level and step count at the bottom.
Another useful feature is the ability to tap on our goal to view our calories burned and steps taken for the day, as well as our step target. We can also access a heart rate monitor to measure our current heart rate and see our recent history. The watch face also includes several shortcuts in the middle, such as tapping on the time to open the messaging application or the clock to open the calendar.
One important feature of this watch is its always-on display, which shows us the time even when the screen is locked. We can tap on the display to wake up the clock face and return to normal operation.
Comparison with Cue Watch Face
It's worth noting that there's another watch face called Cue Watch, which offers a simple analog display but has fewer features compared to the Golden Agent watch face. If you have an Android Wear device and not a Samsung Gear Watch, you can check out the Omega watch face from the Play Store.
Conclusion
That's it for today's video on how to get the Golden Agent watch face on your Samsung Gear device.
