The Thrill of Haul: A Dollar Tree Adventure

As I walked through the aisles of my local Dollar Tree, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and curiosity. I had heard whispers about the treasure trove that lay within these walls, and I was determined to uncover its secrets. With my eyes scanning the shelves, I began to accumulate an assortment of goodies that would soon become the stars of my latest haul.

My first discovery was a delightful collection of square and rectangle soap bars in various colors. The packaging was adorable, with hearts and other festive designs that immediately caught my eye. I couldn't resist the urge to grab them all, and I must admit, they're now proudly displayed on my countertop, adding a touch of whimsy to my daily routine.

Next, I stumbled upon a pair of La Color brow pencils in dark brown and a lighter shade. As an eyebrow enthusiast, I was eager to try these out and compare them to my trusty Anastasia Brow Whiz pencil. Although I hadn't used the new pencil yet, I couldn't wait to dive in and see how it would perform.

My eyes landed on two charming little books with a Walmart label, which seemed like an unexpected find. Although I wasn't entirely sure what I'd do with them, I decided to take a chance and bring them home. I envisioned using them for junk journaling, perhaps creating a Beauty and the Beast or Disney Princess-inspired spread.

As I continued my shopping spree, I encountered a delightful selection of handmade cards from Dollar Tree's limited collection. There was one featuring a cute lunar design that immediately caught my eye, while another had a retro 50s vibe that left me feeling nostalgic. The fourth card featured a lovely pink color and seemed to be from last year's collection – but its charm was undeniable.

Finally, I discovered a set of heart-shaped makeup remover pads in hot pink and light pink hues. As someone who's always on the lookout for convenient skincare tools, these caught my attention. Although I've never used a wipe before, I'm excited to give them a try and see how they compare to my trusty cloth wipes.

The Haul Comes Together

As I made my way through the store, my basket began to fill with an assortment of goodies that would soon become the stars of this haul. From soap bars to brow pencils, books to cards, and makeup remover pads, each item added a unique touch to the collection. I still sit on the floor now but like irrelevant um I just ate too much lasagna for lunch so I think I'm gonna need some coffee so let's make some coffee first and I'll show you guys what you definitely need to write on your shopping list if you're going to pop into Dollar Tree this week there are times where I just want to have coffee for I don't know just wanting coffee then there are times where I need it like air in a relationship coffee of choice while the coffee is growing I thought I'd take you guys outside finally a lovely day it's actually hot I don't know why I'm wearing what I'm wearing but oh my gosh I could just do the haul out here it's like literally the perfect day it's just perfection out here today anyways back to the coffee foreign hopefully this lighting isn't too bad since the window is over here so the first thing I actually want to share with you guys as miners this might sound but if you've been shopping at Dollar Tree or an avid Dollar Tree Shopper then this is kind of a big deal in my opinion but these little teddy bears there's actually a third color to choose from these were my two favorite Shades and they are absolutely darling and the reason why I find this to be a big deal is because I've been waiting for teddy bears like this to come in through Dollar Tree sometimes I feel like with their plush toys they don't quite always nail it and I've been waiting for just those like really sweet looking teddy bears without anything else going on um because I think they are so cute and perfect for gift baskets I actually pinned um a picture from Pinterest and I wanted to kind of recreate this gift basket it had these adorable little teddy bears and then I went to Dollar Tree and saw these and I was just like this is what I've been waiting for plus they're so cute that if you wanted to for like Valentine's Day you could wrap you know a ribbon around them what happened to your damn neck you're missing some fluff back here in your skull all right so I got those then I found these huge gnomes and the first thing that I had to do was I had to kind of look around and see if they were the bonus gnomes but I quickly remember that this store doesn't have the bonus section so these are in fact a dollar 25 I found four to the collection so I had to pick them all up I feel like they did these last year as well but like look how cute this one is it's giving Viking bunch then we have this one which is also actually really cute like I'm very surprised by the the matching quality like I love the sweater look of his hat with the hearts and then there's like gray here in that Chevron bit um that matches the gray of the suit so love that one and then probably the best one even though the sequin hat is my favorite but I feel like this one just looks so expensive looks like it belongs on the shelves of like a TJ Maxx or Home Goods the little heart is really cute and he has like this cable knit detail adorable and look at how his feet are red on this one because his feet are black and white here and then this one's also red that seems to kind of be like the opposite of this one although I think this one wins hands down um so yeah this one just kind of has just like a faux fur to it because I love Dollar Tree socks and I got these juncture brand which is kind of newish to Dollar Tree in the last year two years and they are the full coat cushion low cut women's sock I don't normally wear socks the slow cut anymore I always wear them like ankle or longer kind of like the 80s which funny story but not then I got this version so these are the ankle sock they're actually like the diabetic um why is the camera not focusing there we go so these are the women's which I'm so happy because I feel like a lot of the times I have to shop the men's because the women's just don't carry as much um here is another pair so the funny story is that one year um my family and I my grandparents my brother we went to the Virgin Islands and there's actually a photo of me I don't know where this photo is thank God for that but in this photo I'm wearing jean shorts a cute tropical top but I am literally wearing two not just one two pairs of socks and they go almost to my knees I am so eternally grateful for the fact that we didn't have social media back then um and then I found this black pair which I'm really excited about I also bought more fabric swatches from Dollar Tree they are super adorable I got the pink checkered one again and this checkered is actually kind of my do I say the word signature it's kind of like my Valentine's Day signature so if you go to my Etsy Shop I actually have this feature with my new merch with my new shirts that you can buy from Etsy Shop essentially so I try to put the checker thing into it then I went back and found they have black so I'm super excited because I've not seen this before and if you don't know what I use this for I junk journal with this and if you watched my junk Journal lives during Christmas which those are still up by the way like you can go back and re-watch them you'll see how I use fabric from Dollar Tree and it makes your junk journal the the cutest thing ever so don't sleep on these and now this one I'm very excited about I wanted to open it on camera and just kind of take a look at this pattern um it has like an astronaut thing and speaking of astronauts not to open up a can of worms but but how the hell how the hell are you gonna call the White House 1969 from the Moon and you call to a landline I step out into my backyard and I don't even have cell service and my Wi-Fi routers like right there anyways I found the astronauts they're really cute makes me um want to do a theme sometimes all it takes is an item like this to get a theme so if you're kind of stuck with junk journaling or you want to get started sometimes all it takes is just like one thing that you really love and you can center around it so they just like called from the Moon and it rang to the landline and okay then I found some new stickers and these are absolutely darling so if you love to craft or you just love stickers like whatever the thing is these little daisies are stunning they're beautiful they remind me of like the five to eight dollar pair of stickers from like Michael's or Hobby Lobby I mean Michael's is actually worse in my opinion um Hobby Lobby has really great prices but sometimes a pack of stickers are like eight bucks and you're like what a dollar 25 so get you these then I found a new item from crafter Square they are felt flowers and leaves kit I'm still trying to figure out what this is now I'll tell you I only bought this one package but there's multiple colors to choose from but I guess you're supposed to like attach it together okay like I I guess my mind is going why did they just do it for me and leave out the glue um I picked up some of these little like Pearl pieces I just really love these I'm gonna be using these in my junk Journal so I am going to be starting my Valentine's Day junk Journal lives are going to be Fridays I feel like that's just a really good day I really want to kind of have like the most colorful junk journal and these little pearls are so bright and pretty so I got them I also found them in this like lighter shade as well so I thought that was really cute and I think they have these in like a teal so I need to find those so I'm on the official hunt with them so I got several packets I also got a packet of these little Rainbow um like Decor pieces from the which is super cute usually Dollar Tree puts cookie cutters in like a little mesh bag um but they did it this way I love love you so that's really cute pretty random I have no idea why I bought these squishy toys but they're like a fruit so this one looks like a kiwi at first I was confused but this is a cutie he looks really stressed out and the irony is that it's like a stress ball so so and then here's an orange he looks like he's having a completely different day from kiwi um maybe kiwi walked in on something you shouldn't have here's watermelon judging the entire situation like he's just he's not having it and then we have lime lime said what the hell did you do so we've got him and then this is Apple ah see the story starting to unfold here Apple must have been doing something with somebody that he shouldn't have and I feel like it's orange orange I feel like has no remorse at first looks innocent but um see Apple's been cut he said oh and then he said the hell and then he said um oh my God No One's Gonna watch my videos anymore well you did that to yourselves in the Teaching Tree section I was so surprised to find some new cards so this one's numbers and counting with Barbie so it's super cute I love cards again I use them in multiple ways when I'm junk journaling sometimes I'll like use them face value because they do cute little things like this where you get you know really sweet images I mean like the hens and the the weights and the okay you know some of them but like whatever like look how cute Barbie and her friends are super adorable so if you were to do like a Barbie themed junk Journal this would be really cute and sometimes I use the card to like cover up and I just use it because it's like really good material so um I'm excited about those those are new and then I got Hello Kitty and I decided to go for two of them because when I took a look at like what they looked like on the outside they have this whole like sprinkle thing going and it just it took me back to my childhood um growing up in Dallas and having the Dallas Galleria um in the late 80s I loved the Hello Kitty store I remember the first time walking into that store and I just had never seen anything like it and I had just basically come from Brazil and so when I saw Hello Kitty for the first time I I'll never forget my reaction and I just wanted everything in that shop so this just like kind of took me back to that so I got two packets of those I think those will be really darling for journaling okay then I picked up these little loot bags kind of like clear cellophane I really liked the um the dots of how it just like kind of like gets heavier at the bottom what's that called a gradient there's a word for that I forget what it is but here's what one single little bag looks like and I love using random material for Junk journaling so just putting you guys on this little bag I'm gonna try to craft with that in my Valentine's Day junk Journal okay then Dollar Tree has put out quite a bit for like home stuff so I found this little love sign this one's really cute I like how it's plain so if you wanted to you could paint this pink red multiple colors then they have home which is done in white it's kind of hard to tell but then they also have it and it says family and that version is in Black then I found this what wood bead wreath I mean for me personally I feel like this goes a little a little over the edge of modern and I have more of a traditional feel but just for the material alone and the the beads I got it for that um and then we have this one which is actually really pretty has more of a rounded Square uh what do they call these they're just like these little heart stands and they have it in white they have it in pink and I think this would be cute for a tear tray and they also have it in red these are not new these have been out I believe okay then I found these which there was so much to choose from just know when you go to Dollar Tree I hope you guys find all this stuff because it was a really impressive all the options they had I should have taken like a video clip so you could see but they have square versions of this and rectangle versions like it there was just so many options and it's just so cute in Farmhouse I absolutely love it now the most impressive thing and I'm just speechless because everything about these is just like it's so good that's just so cute when I see this it just makes me want to immediately start to put together some type of like tear tray and kind of go off of this black color and maybe do like white like a checkered effect um so I just think it's so cute look at them look how perfect that is for a dollar 25. all right then I found these little bars of soap although they've definitely been around yeah these these have been around I don't think they've made any updates since the last drop but I wanted you guys to see how cute they were and the packaging oops that one's upside down so this one is definitely giving me like a Valentine's Day feel obviously with hearts gives you all the ingredients in the back it but it's winter Berry scented so I think these are more like Christmas um yeah like she's wearing a whole turtleneck with using them in a care package or gift basket of some sort because I feel like this one's got the pink wrapping this one's got the hearts so I feel like it works Play Colors put out a brow pencil I've always been on the elf gel I would like dip my angled brush into the gel and do my eyebrows this way but this Christmas I asked for the Anastasia Brow whiz pencil I've never used a pencil for my brows before and even though I I haven't used it today I love that thing like my eyebrows have completely changed so now I'm looking at pencils a lot more and then when I saw this La color one I thought I would also try this one it is the color dark brown they did have like a lighter brown color picked up these two little books which is funny because they came straight from Walmart you can see like the Walmart um label there so they ended up being a dollar 25 and they're just really cute I don't know exactly what I'm gonna do with it but worst case scenario I mean you can junk journal with book pages and it would be really cute so love that like for example if I were to do a Beauty and the Beast or a Disney princess junk Journal these little Pages would be really fun and could come in handy my Dollar Trees put out some of the handmade cards um they're not there's not that many that I actually really like just these four this little to the Moon is so cute and then this one although it's kind of like I feel like this was last year's collection but I can't quite tell then I found these adorable kind of retro giving me 50s Vibes when I look at them like look how cute they are they also come in a lavender color this is pink it's kind of hard to tell on camera um they're just fun I feel like this is one of those items that would be really cute for a care package like this is what I would send Micah you know when she was in college like I remember sending her beads and and all that stuff you know because they would get dressed up or like go to parties kind of thing like this was something I I would put in her care package so super cute I'll probably just save them for my niece when she comes and then her and I can wear them and she'll think it's absolutely hilarious a cup oh here's another card that one's really cute I love the whole neon thing these items I would put on your list if you're gonna do any sort of gift basket for like a teenager teacher just anyone kind of like on the more mature older crowd because I found makeup removable pads and they are heart shaped and PS by the way I S I'm still on the Dollar Tree makeup remover wipes or the cloths I have never used a wipe sense I think I used one once on my family vacation but because I yeah I left my cloths that year I think I found these makeup blender sponges look at Dollar Tree though so this set is a hot pink and this set is a light pink that is it for today's haul I hope you guys enjoyed I cute they were and the packaging oops that one's upside down so this one is definitely giving me like a Valentine's Day feel obviously with hearts gives you all the ingredients in the back it but it's winter Berry scented so I think these are more like Christmas um yeah like she's wearing a whole turtleneck with using them in a care package or gift basket of some sort because I feel like this one's got the pink wrapping this one's got the hearts so I feel like it works Play Colors put out a brow pencil I've always been on the elf gel I would like dip my angled brush into the gel and do my eyebrows this way but this Christmas I asked for the Anastasia Brow whiz pencil I've never used a pencil for my brows before and even though I I haven't used it today I love that thing like my eyebrows have completely changed so now I'm looking at pencils a lot more and then when I saw this La color one I thought I would also try this one it is the color dark brown they did have like a lighter brown color picked up these two little books which is funny because they came straight from Walmart you can see like the Walmart um label there so they ended up being a dollar 25 and they're just really cute I don't know exactly what I'm gonna do with it but worst case scenario I mean you can junk journal with book pages and it would be really cute so love that like for example if I were to do a Beauty and the Beast or a Disney princess junk Journal these little Pages would be really fun and could come in handy my Dollar Trees put out some of the handmade cards um they're not there's not that many that I actually really like just these four this little to the Moon is so cute and then this one although it's kind of like I feel like this was last year's collection but I can't quite tell then I found these adorable kind of retro giving me 50s Vibes when I look at them like look how cute they are they also come in a lavender color this is pink it's kind of hard to tell on camera um they're just fun I feel like this is one of those items that would be really cute for a care package like this is what I would send Micah you know when she was in college like I remember sending her beads and and all that stuff you know because they would get dressed up or like go to parties kind of thing like this was something I I would put in her care package so super cute I'll probably just save them for my niece when she comes and then her and I can wear them and she'll think it's absolutely hilarious a cup oh here's another card that one's really cute I love the whole neon thing these items I would put on your list if you're gonna do any sort of gift basket for like a teenager teacher just anyone kind of like on the more mature older crowd because I found makeup removable pads and they are heart shaped and PS by the way I S I'm still on the Dollar Tree makeup remover wipes or the cloths I have never used a wipe sense I think I used one once on my family vacation but because I yeah I left my cloths that year I think I found these makeup blender sponges look at Dollar Tree though so this set is a hot pink and this set is a light pink that is it for today's haul I
