Jailbreak Tweak Tutorial: Adding a Fifth Row to iPhone and iPad Keyboard

Hey guys, Dave from Unlock.com, and today we have another jailbreak tweak for you! This one is going to show you how to add a fifth row of keys to the iPhone or iPad keyboard to make typing faster in iOS 7. Hi this is Tony for The Locker.com here to show you how to install and use this tweak.

To start with, you need to make sure that your phone is jailbroken first and if you haven't done already do that click on the link below this video and complete a jailbreaking procedure then come back to this video for The Tweak. Once you've made sure your phone is jailbroken, you're going to swipe over to find the Cydia app and tap it to open.

Next, you're going to want to search for The Tweak which is called iiwi. Now we have two versions, uh for the iPhone it's $1.99 and for the iPad version it's $2.99 so select the version you want in my case the iPhone and then since I've bought it already it won't show up but you'll have to tap the buy uh the top right over here and then follow the steps to buy the app.

Once you've done that, go back to the Kiwi Page by tapping search and the iiwi page should be up already. Now once you're back to the iiwi page I'm going to tap install at the top right over here and then tap confirm to confirm the per the download and let it install. And once it's finished installing you're going to want to tap restart springboard whenever that will want to show up or reload springboard so tap that and wait for your phone to restart.

Once your phone is restarted we can now start using the tweak. To show you I'm going to go into the messages app, tapping over here create a new message. And then you'll find that an additional row a fifth row has been added on top of the letters so you can see you have all the numbers here uh so you don't even have to go into the numbers option over here now you can also change the settings of this tweak by going into the settings and scrolling all the way down till you find iqy.

So tap on IQ and as you can see you have options to customize keys so you can change the uh the different Keys here um you can customize the alt Keys as well you can see and the key height which basically the size uh the pinion and Raji which I would just leave alone if I were you. Once you done with that you're going to tap save and respring which will in effect restart your phone again so tap that and wait for your phone to restart and the settings will be applied and there you go.
