**Unboxing the PS4 in India**

During the PS4 India launch event organized by Landmark, I managed to get my hands on this midnight launched console. It was an exciting moment, and I also received some additional goodies as part of the launch offer, including a pair of free earphones or headphones that were valued at around 750 rupees.

As I unwrapped the box, I noticed that it had a unique design with a matte finish. The build quality is made of plastic, and on the back, it clearly states "PS4" with some additional details about the console's specifications. The PS4 comes in two versions: the standard edition with 500GB storage capacity and the Skillzone Shadowfall edition.

**The Unboxing Experience**

As I opened the box, I found a small booklet that served as a quick-start guide for the PS4. Inside, I also discovered the DualShock 4 controller, which felt substantial in terms of weight but was not as heavy as Xbox controllers. The controller had some decent weight to it, but again, it didn't feel as robust as its counterpart.

One of the accessories that caught my attention was the headset that came attached to the PS4 controller. It had a single earphone and a microphone, which seemed like a great value for the price. However, I noticed that the cable looked quite flimsy, being thin and not very substantial.

In addition to the headset, I found a micro USB to USB cable for charging the DualShock 4 controller, as well as an HDMI cable for connecting the console to my TV. There was also a power cord that seemed to be the only option for powering the PS4, which was a bit of a letdown given the console's sleek design.

As I continued to explore the contents of the box, I found a warranty card and some literature about updating the system software. That was about it – there were no other accessories or extras beyond what was included in the standard package.

**First Impressions of the PS4**

Now that I've had a chance to unpack and inspect the PS4, I'm excited to dive into its capabilities and features. The console itself feels relatively light, considering its robust build quality, but it's still substantial enough to feel solid in my hands.

The design is sleek and modern, with a unique aesthetic that sets it apart from other gaming consoles on the market. One of the most notable features is the absence of a separate power brick – instead, everything is integrated into the console itself, which makes it feel even more compact and convenient.

Overall, I'm looking forward to putting the PS4 through its paces and seeing how it performs in terms of gameplay, graphics, and overall user experience. With its robust build quality, sleek design, and generous launch offer, this console has all the makings of a top-notch gaming system – and I'm eager to see if it lives up to my expectations.

the games that are available and the dual shock 4 control controller um and we also get PlayStation Plus 14-day trial with the PS4 again in India we're getting the European Edition that's the EU Edition so let me keep this box to the side and let's open this box that has the actual PS4 and it opens up like this as you can see and we have the PS4 and this is a tiny uh booklet quick start guide for the PS4 we have the new dual shock 4 controllers it's actually it has some decent weight the actually I didn't like the earlier PS3 controllers I felt it was too light but this has a little bit of weight but again I would definitely say that it's not as heavy as a Xbox controller the Xbox controller is a lot more heavier than this one so let me keep that to the side and let's look what else do we get in the box we have some accessories oops uh we have this headset uh that will be attached to the PS4 controller it's just has a earphone it has a microphone over here and the cable looks actually pretty flimsy it's pretty thin as you can see so let me keep that to the side and we also get a micro USB to USB cable to charge this uh dual shock 4 controller and let's look at what else do we here let me take out all the the things and we do get a HDMI cable so that's nice and this must be the uh cable for the power so let me keep that to the side and we have the PS4 itself so let me take that out and we also have the warranty card and it also says that PS4 system software update literature so nothing else in the box so let me keep the box to the side and let's look at the PS4 itself so this is the PS4 so let me just take it out actually it's not that heavy it has some weight but it is not very heavy and definitely I would say it's a lot smaller compared to the original PS uh uh three and let's look at the ports at the back and we have this unique design uh if you place it like this this is how it will look pretty Sleek I would say and uh this is glossy plastic but this is matte finish again it's build is plastic and on the back it says PS4 we also have a digital out we have a HDMI we have ethernet port and we also have a surprisingly AUX port and this is for the power and nothing else these are all all just vents to dissipate the heat produced by the PS4 and if you look at this side we also have some vents over here and we also have two USB ports and the dis is uh uh slot loading like the PS3 so this is the PS4 uh to give you an idea let me put it like this let me bring the original PS3 so this is the original PS3 the fat version that was launched in 2006 or something uh I still have that and it still works and if you can see the PS 4 is a lot Slimmer again as uh compared to Xbox Etc again we don't have a separate power brick on the PS4 everything is
