Auto Buy Authors!

**Favorite Authors and Auto-Buy Books**

The author of this video loves reading books by several different authors, each with their own unique style and genre. One of her favorite authors is Rick Riordan, whose books are full of adventure and imagination. She has read all of his books and owns them on her shelf, but hasn't had the courage to take them out yet because they're too much work. Her favorites include "After Worlds", which sounds really cool, and "Leviathan", a historical fiction book that she's super interested in but hasn't picked up yet.

Another favorite author of hers is Stephanie Perkins, whose writing is just so cute and fun. The author loves her books like "It's Not Summer Without You" and "Anna and the French Kiss", which she gave 5 out of 5 stars to. She also loved "Island" and "Lola and the Boy Next Door", although she gave the latter only 4.5 out of 5 stars. The author is eagerly waiting for Perkins' future publications, including a Christmas book of stories that she edited.

The author's next favorite author is Laurie Halse Anderson, whose writing tackles important issues in a way that's not too heavy-handed or difficult to read about. She loves Anderson's books like "Wintergirls" and "Speak", which she gave 4 out of 5 stars to and 3/4 stars to respectively. The author was impressed by the complexity and beauty of Anderson's writing, even when tackling tough topics.

Another favorite author of hers is Ransom Riggs, whose "Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children" series is full of weird and wonderful stories that she just can't get enough of. She loves the way the books are told through pictures and the unique world-building that goes into each story. The author is eagerly waiting for the final book in the series, which is coming out later this year.

Lastly, the author's next favorite author is Sarah J. Maas, whose "Throne of Glass" series is full of fantasy and adventure. She loves the world-building, characters, and stories that Maas creates, and has given all of her books 5 out of 5 stars. The author is eagerly waiting for new releases in the series, including a second book in "A Court of Thorns and Roses", which will be released next year.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhey everyone its Ely and today I'm going to be talking about my auto-buy authors so to me an auto by author is an author that I have read at least one of their books probably more if they have more out and there was something about it the writing character is the world something about it that I just loved so much that I know I will probably be reading anything that they put out in the future so I'm going to explain how this video is going to go just so there's a little bit of organization I'm going to say who the author is and then I'm going to talk about why I like them so much and then I'm going to go into the books of theirs that I have read and just like say in order from favorite to least favorite and like their rating I'm not gonna go into synopsis or anything else this video would be an hour long and then I'm going to go into any releases that they have coming out in the future so now that this video has some semblance of organization I'm going to start with my first auto-buy author these are in no particular order but if they were this would still be the first one it's kind of my default answer whenever anyone asks me to pick my favorite author I don't really have a favorite author but if I had to choose it would be the king of contemporary himself in my opinion John Green I just love John Green for so many reasons not only is he a fabulous author but he's also a really really great person but I'm going to focus on him as an author I love the fact that he writes about teenagers as if he is one he really understands teenagers and he's able to write really relatable characters in realistic situations he always answers so many important questions that every kid is wondering and I found these books really really helpful when I was growing up but I really think that they would appeal to anyone of any age his writing is always just so beautiful and profound and it's so quotable like it is honestly he is probably the most quotable author that I have read other than like obviously the classics he is just so like so quotable and his books always make me think they always just are making me like see different things that I never realized before they are honestly just so fabulous and I find that his stories are always unique I honestly I cannot say enough about him I just love his book so much so without a doubt my favorite John Green book would be the fault our stars I know this is very cliche now but I just I love this book I adore it I have read it almost 15 times now I think I've lost count but I just honestly love it so much I think it's such a beautiful story I gave it five out of five stars I'm not gonna get too much into detail because I could talk about how much I love this book forever my second favorite John Green book would be looking for Alaska which I also gave 5 out of 5 stars as you can see it's very noted up as I read it for school then at number 3 is Paper Towns this one I gave 4 out of 5 stars my least favorite John Green book that he has written by himself so not including any of his collaborations that would be an abundance of Katherine's I gave this one 3 stars I didn't hate it but I didn't love it and then for his collaborations we have Will Grayson Will Grayson which was written with David Levithan I gave this one three stars and finally we have let it snow which is written with Lauren Myracle and Maureen Johnson it's three short stories that are for not Halloween Christmas that's the hot Christmas and this one would probably be my least favorite overall just because I didn't like these stories of the other two authors I gave this one I think a three stars so I have read all of John Green's books that he has released thus far and he is currently writing a book but it's untitled and there's no synopsis and we don't know anything about it but that one is one that I can guarantee you the second at hitch it hits shelves I will have it in my hands my next auto-buy author would be Alexandra Bracken these books are killing my hand right now I really love the fact that she doesn't stick to one genre she has written in fantasy and sci-fi and dystopian and anything she writes it's just her cinematic writing style I don't know how to explain it I just feel like I'm watching a movie when I'm reading these books they are so like it's so cool and all of her books that I have read thus far are so action-packed and just have such an interesting concept that I'm and I'm so invested in the characters I just really become like I feel like I become a part of this story and I really love it because I never know what's gonna happen so I actually haven't read that much by her I've only read the darkest minds trilogy which is her dystopian trilogy and I gave all of these a five out of five stars so fabulous she does have a book out that I haven't read yet and that is brightly woven which is a fantasy I do plan on reading it sometime soon I just don't know when and as far as future publications go she has passenger which is coming out in January of 2016 which I am so so excited for it's um I believe it has to do with time travel and it's a sci-fi it sounds really really cool and the other one that she has coming out is a new hope it's a Star Wars story so I'm not too sure if I will be reading this one because I'm not too familiar with the Star Wars world but I might if it's friendly to people who like don't know anything about Star Wars then I might pick it up my neck started by author would be probably the queen of contemporary and that would be rim over well I'd love the fact that I remember well writes such relatable characters her characters honestly are probably some of the most relatable characters I have ever read and it just makes you feel like someone understands you and it is just so great your characters are so realistic that you feel like they're people who you could be friends with and it makes it really easy to connect with her stories her writing is really great too because it's not too complicated but it still has a beautiful like aspect to it my favorite Rainbow Rowell book by far would be fangirl I loved this one so much I gave it 5 out of 5 stars and I think it may be one of my all-time favorites I just related to it so much and I adored it my second favorite would be Eleanor in Park which I gave four stars I know a lot of people this is their favorite but well I did like it I didn't love it as much as I loved fangirl and my least favorite member well book that I've read so far would be landline I gave this one 3.5 stars I had quite a few issues with it and it was one of the least relatable for me the only book of Rainbow Rowell is that she has out right now that I haven't read yet is attachments I do plan on reading it soon and then as far as future publications she has what's it called carry on which is a fantasy book that is coming out this year I believe I'm not sure if I'm going to read that one though I just I don't know I probably will but I'm just kind of apprehensive about it and I know you're probably like why is she an auto by author then she just is okay she is her contemporaries I would 100% buy my next auto by author would be Libba Bray she is just so versatile and everything she writes is absolutely beautiful and fabulous I just I love her a lot her books are just really atmospheric and they can be funny but also deal with important issues I love all her characters and I just love all the descriptions everything about her books are just fabulous so it's kind of hard for me to pick my favorite out of all her books that I have read so far because they're kind of all tied but the diviners I would say might be my favorite I loved how it's a historical fiction and just the atmosphere of it I give it 4.5 stars and then number two would be beauty queens I love the satire of this one and all the issues that deals with it's fabulous so I haven't read the Gemma Doyle trilogy though it is on my list to read very soon and I also haven't read going bovine I don't really know what that one is about at all so I might read in the future but I'm not positive because I have no idea what it's about and her next publication will be layer of Dreams which is going to be the second book in the diviner series and it is supposed to come out in August and I will 100% be picking that up my next auto-buy author has a lot of books which are very heavy and that is a little good I'm struggling rick riordan I can't want these all at once I don't know how to say his last name Riordan Riordan I don't know but he is a fantasy and methodological author and he writes middle grade books and I love that I learned so much what I'm reading them I just I love mythology and I just honestly most of my mythological education comes from his books his characters are so fun and his books are always so action-packed and I really love the bold move he made in a blood of Olympus which was very important for the age group and I really enjoyed it but I don't want to say it because it's spoilery so this is another one where it's hard for me to kind of rank his books but the Percy Jackson series would probably be my favorite maybe possibly I don't know they're all just so and engaging and awesome I love them and the my second favorite would be the Heroes of Olympus series I gave I think most of these 5 out of 5 stars some of them 4.5 out of 5 stars so I haven't read the Kane Chronicles by him yet which I do plan on reading and his next publications are the summer of sword which is the first book in the Magnus chase and the gods of Asgard a series that he's coming out with and the other one is Percy Jackson's Greek heroes so I'm excited my next auto-buy author would be Morgan Matson or Katie Fenn she is a contemporary author and I love her books they are so fun and they all have like little extra things in them like let me find an example like this one has little pictures in it and also has playlists and this one has playlist in it and even her book eyes the one book I've read of hers by as Katie Fenn that had like if I remember correctly it had like little social media pages her books are just so fun and enjoyable but they all are pretty heartbreaking at the same time a me and Rogers epic detour would definitely be my favorite book by her I loved this one and I loved all the little pictures and little things in it so I gave it 5 out of 5 stars and my second favorite would be since you've been gone this one was also very fabulous and really fun I give this one 4.5 maybe 5 out of 5 stars I don't really remember and my least favorite would be top eight which she wrote as Katie Finn I read this way back in the day like and when I was in like grade six or something when it first came out and I I want to say I really liked it so I'll say I gave it four stars I haven't read second chance summer yet which is her other book that she has out but I really really really want to read it and her next book is coming out in May of 2016 and that is the unexpected everything and I am so excited for it my next startup by author is one that I haven't read in quite a while but I loved him as a kid and I probably will still love him when I read another one of his books very soon hopefully and that is Scott Westerfeld I love the versatility of his writing he writes in so many genres he has historical fiction this one's like a paranormal and contemporary and then he has his dystopian series like he can write really anything and his writing is just really action-packed and interesting the concepts are just so intriguing and I just really love it so the only books of his that I have read I have on my shelf but I don't want to get them out because it's too much work and that is the ugly series and I gave these all 5 out of 5 stars except for the last one the extras I gave that one I think 2 stars I don't really remember why but whatever I want to reread them soon though and his other books like he has out that I haven't read yet that I want to is after worlds which I obviously own and it sounds really cool and then and then also his historical fiction which is Leviathan which I'm super interested in but I just haven't picked up yet his next book is called zeros and it's a fantasy and it's written with other people I just don't really remember who and it's coming out in September of this year my next auto-buy author would be Stephanie Perkins I don't have in in the French kiss on me right now because my mom is borrowing it but her writing is just so cute and fun and super super quick but it's such an enjoyable and impactful story like I guess it's not impactful in the way that it makes you thinks but it's just impactful because it's just so fun and the romances are so cute and I just love everything about all of these bugs so in in the French kiss would definitely be my favorite book written by her and I gave that one 5 out of 5 stars then I would pick Island happily ever after which I gave 5 out of 5 stars as well and then I would pick Lola and the boy next door which I gave 4.5 out of 5 stars there's really no news about her future publication that I could find I don't think I had a title or anything but whatever it is I will be reading it and I also want to read my true love gave to me which is her little Christmas book of stories that she edited and I just really want to read it my next daughter by author would be Laurie Halse Anderson I love the fact gave I think 3 out of 5 stars maybe 4 I just it was a really hard book for me to read which is why I didn't train it higher higher but it really was fabulous and I have the impossible knife of memory that I want to read soon I'm not sure if she has any books coming out in the future my next order by author would be ransom Riggs I love the fact that he writes like such weird things but they're so cool and so engaging I love the writing of these books I love the fact that they're written like around these pictures that fit his story it's such a unique story I honestly just love it so much so I'm not sure how to rank these two but I love them both and I gave them both 505 stars it's miss Peregrine's Home for peculiar children and then the second book in the series hollow city and he has the library of souls coming out later this year which is the final book of miss Peregrine's and I cannot wait for it my next auto-buy author would be Sarah J Maas queen of fantasy and her books are they're kind of all on the same playing field she has many books coming out soon and she has the second book of the court thorns and roses coming out next next year and then she has a queen of Shadows the fourth book in the throne of glass series which is coming out in September so those are all of my auto-buy authors I just wanted to include authors that I've read more than one of their books
