uh as uh you can see I'll going to show samples this part of the video is being recorded by the front-facing camera of the Samsung Galaxy S8 and it's 8 map uh shooter front-facing camera with f1.7 lens and uh uh again I'll be showing you raw footage with the HTC U1 on paper both of them actually have similar specs for the rear facing camera uh both have a 12 map f1.7 lens but uh for the front-facing camera on paper uh this one HTC1 is having a 16 megapix shooter whereas the S8 is having a 8 mapix shooter uh again I'll shoot a similar footage with the HTC1 and also some raw samples so that you who can judge which one is doing a better job now recording this video with the front-facing camera of the HTC U1 and this was the Galaxy S8 uh doing similar stuff just want to keep it very raw so that you can judge how is the audio pickup uh video because I want to keep it real life this is how you're going to use the device don't want to shoot it in this studio so I'll also be showing you a lot of sample shots side by side that I shoot raw pictures with both these devices and to keep it very fair uh both these these devices actually have manual mode but to keep it fair I'll be shooting all the picks in the auto mode so here are the samples and you guys let me know which one is doing a better job so here are the picks side by side the htcu 11 on the left and the Galaxy S8 on the right I overall noticed that the uh color is slightly different on both because the way they judge the white balance is slightly different but here I zoomed into the pictures and again as you can see both of them actually did a very good job this is almost 300% Zoom from the original and both of them actually uh maintain the details and here again uh the same picture again I have just moved it a little bit and again I feel both produced a pretty good uh picture but the Galaxy S8 notied that dish antenna the rust is slightly more clearer on that one here is another picture and clearly the S8 picture is a little bit more vibrant I would say uh but again in terms of detail both of them have done a very good job in this picture this was an interesting uh picture a lot of Shadow and stuff so I was looking for dynamic range and here I uh zoomed into this picture and you can clearly see that the Galaxy S8 did a lot better in that shadowed area it had a lot more detail compared to the htcu 11 here is another picture and uh you might notice that the S8 picture might be better initially but I disagree notice at the clouds the clouds are retained with the HTC1 whereas on the S8 it were completely blown out here is another picture and here I would say I'm not happy with both the phones because the Galaxy S8 uh it's a lot more greener than it is actually but with the HTC U1 it was a lot more darker uh than it should be both of them actually do a great job in terms of Bou because of the f1.7 lens but in this picture I feel the HTC1 did not do that great as compared to the S8 yes the S8 picture is a little bit more vibrant and saturated another close-up macro shot and in this one I feel the HTC1 produced a more balanced picture the Galaxy S8 though it looks vibrant but the picture is actually oversaturated and it actually looks unnatural this was a picture shot in indoor conditions and uh notice the HTC U1 on the left actually let me zoom in it has produced a more natural picture uh this wooden thing the actual color this closer to the htcu 11 the Galaxy S8 for some reason uh produced a very different color this was shot in very low lighting condition and I was surprised that these phones could take this shot this is like just two candles lit in this room and uh yes the S8 did a better job the noise is a lot less on the S8 here is another picture with the HTC1 and the Galaxy S8 let me actually zoom in and as you can clearly see the HTC U1 has a lot more noise so in this this respect the Galaxy S8 did a far better job quick sample from the front-facing camera and the htcu images are sort of inverted I feel the Galaxy S8 pictures from the front-facing camera are slightly more vibrant than the HTC use pictures now recording a sample video with the rear facing camera uh on the left I have the htcu and on the right we have the Galaxy S8 and I've set it to 1080P and let's see how is the stabilization and focusing speed uh let's first check the focusing speed and as you can see this is an object that I'm coming nearby like this let's move out both of them actually uh looks like are doing a good job let's just move out both of them are fast and getting video Focus as you can see so that'll be a great thing on both of them and audio I'm going to be switching between the both so just see the icon and now let's do the walk test and uh you guys be a judge which one is doing a better job this is just raw footage that I'm going to upload there is a little bit of wind also blowing here and let's just walk back so this is a quick video test
