The R33 GTR I've Been Hiding...

I was getting fancy there oh that was a fantastic I probably could use a cooldown I'm guessing that's fantastic I mean transitions a lot of people struggle with and you did exactly what you needed to do with the wheels so I could tell that you've had a little experience with it before not much and now you guys are pretty much at the same spot I mean I know you did a transition but that was great now Mark's a good driver sorry no it was good your your line was perfect and you you did exactly what you needed to do you need to stay in that drift a little bit longer but your eyesight you just got to kind of move it a little bit but I mean for your first attempt at it yeah your your timing was perfect foreign there you go yep that was it so I mean you did the transition yeah you just you kind of let go instead of going around the circle down so repeat that do that again that was that was fantastic you were set up to transition back around that cone if you wanted to use the big sand throttle yeah that was beautiful everything kind of making sense now yeah cool it's yeah because I I just you know I kind of know where the code is you lose it sometime but you kind of know where it is it's funny you guys are like Polar Opposites you're very smooth and composed yeah and he's just like half now listen to the engine yep yeah you really it's cool because you can use it as a learning tool for going slow or you can really push it do some things now now we've now we've gotten that out of the way okay now we do it again I think on that one it's just a little now we just gotta wait a little bit longer for the rear to catch itself before you blast off okay foreign the wheel's starting to spin and it's still spinning you just grab it a little bit too early foreign you're good just just trying to keep driving keep driving all right we didn't get stuck all right no you're good so that was the opposite extreme what happens if you steer out and you're not on the gas yeah foreign great job man thank you out you did what's called a Scandinavian flick back there unfortunately you unintentionally did a Scandinavian flick without that it did you straightened out and you kind of rocked the car to one side yeah initiated it yeah without the handbrake just with momentum yeah that's sick that was awesome how you doing how you liking it you big Drifter now it's awesome that's awesome it's like Christmas morning yeah a big surprise didn't know what I was expecting it's fun oh yeah yeah this is when you go home you start browsing Facebook Marketplace for 350z that's right and that's how it all begins just come over to your shop and pick one out I mean hey we got to be ourselves yeah not this guy but all right you don't want this thing she's she's tired it's amazing that she's still kicking if I'm being honest yeah it's a good ass girl this maniac's going back out there in the Safari I want to drive them oh and there's the cone it doesn't even check the car just puts the cone back and hops right back in foreign it looks so cool I love this dude the brown interior says off-road on the floor man look at that first and then I like watched you know thank you foreign this is what I wanted to do with the 901 Turbo S this would have been so cool yeah I up Jay what'd you think was awesome no it was Adam was incredible he had a super good time and then amazing cause for cystic fibrosis and thanks to Sean and mayor that kind of runs Smokey as they did a awesome job kind of organizing this and bringing Adam together and then Mark always amazing mark well yeah no Adam you know we uh met at the kind of the follow-up in and kind of put this together and had a great time today and I live right here in Orlando and Jay lives up in Jacksonville so it's easy to use and it's a great time something I'd never done before Jay is almost a throw now and I think the best part of the day was probably you uh drifting days of 9 11 oh that was fun right oh yeah hell yeah cool well I'll see you guys in like two weeks you'll have your own people PCS nice we'll show up and we'll be here yep Smokey's again everyone's just going to get 350Z foreign

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enwell I up uh I did the thing where I was really excited about a car I had it in the shop because I've been showing my friends and looking it over and it wound up not only on a drift games video but in the background of my own videos so I present to you my very first r33 GTR with it being said I'm gonna walk you through the car this thing's pretty sweet I'm gonna walk you around the car from the outside is absolutely perfect there's not a single Dent there's like one tiny little scratch on the other side what kind of caught my eye of this car at auction I had a bunch of cool bits on it had the three spoke voke wheels it had the Nismo skirts it has a bunch of like cool little like old Nissan bits like these carbon pillars are pretty rare um 400 r rear bumper lots of cool bits but the biggest thing for me this car is a grade 4B and the interior was probably one of the most Immaculate Interiors I'd ever seen so on the inside it literally looks brand new I always love the purple inserts and stuff on the inside of our 33s but my favorite thing of all it got the white gauges if you know r33s these gauges are like big big big money so I was really stoked that it came with the white gauges um the cluster says 23 000 kilometers on the auction sheet it allegedly said that the original cluster when it was swapped had 25 000 kilometers which would mean that it's a 48 000 kilometer car which is insanely low the interior shows that the engine bay which I'll show you shows that the car is absolutely very clean very stock I did a compression check because I'm just very nervous with old RBS and the compression was perfect but there's a little bit of bad news I don't think I'm going to be keeping it I got this car because I thought it was cool and I had a bunch of cool bits my dream was to own a kn6 car which is like this pretty rare low production like purplish gray color in a series three and one popped up for sale in Japan that I really want so I'm actually gonna be listing this car for sale so it's in the shop he was showing a few people it and I was having Mike take some photos because I'm listening for sale if you are interested in this car I'll have some information in the description with a link to more photos and also the contact to reach out to full disclosure I'm going to be asking 55 grand for this car which I think is insanely cheap with the price of r33s but that's with me keeping the white gauges because I want them for my xr33 if you want those extra four grand 59 Grand I still think it's super super cheap for a grade 4B allegedly very low kilometer r33 it's not a real 400r Hood by the way it's fiberglass I guess that's that's probably one of the biggest cons of this car this car was supposed to be part of new car week V2 I had a bunch of cars that I was waiting I was going to reveal and I was gonna do a lap with the car but then everything changed once I found the other r33 so that's that but r33 GTRs are cool but crx's are cool everyone was telling me before when I was cleaning this motor oh you should dry ice blast it out you should dry ice blast it it was actually part of the plan but the place where we get dry ice from is kind of far from here so I was just waiting until I was able to get some but we got the degreasing done first and now I'm just kind of I don't think it would take the cover off this valve cover but just to play it safe I'm taping it up and I'm gonna see what I can refresh with the dry ice Blaster massive shout out to obsessed garage for letting me hold on to this dry ice Blaster forever Matt actually just asked for it back and I just begged him to let me uh use it a little bit longer just so I could have a chance to go over the B18 with it I don't know what it's necessarily going to work well on but we're going to find out first thing I'm going to try is take off some of the surface rust on this pulley I'm going to be lazy and probably paint it on the on the engine so if that works well that'll be nice it looks really good on oh I forgot you're supposed to decharge it that happens a lot shocked me any trends foreign so I guess I did a really good job degreasing cleaning it before because the dry ice really wasn't needed for this stage but it got a little it got a couple little areas that were harder to get to with like a brush but I've got some other stuff I'm going to try to use the dry ice blaster on while we have ice when you wire real stuff it'll leave some of this residue left over and I think we found on the super before that it helped get rid of it oh by the way if you want to get excited this is for the resurrection of the fds-15 thank you Marco he's making the door that got smashed in was that a Dean Kearney door or was that another person door I don't think this one was from Dean Kearney a little bit of everybody yeah everybody'd be smashed into my doors yep foreign areas like this like if you're detailing a car that like they're hard to get out it'll make it look brand new I was really been doing this on 33 I'm selling rather than a door that's going to get powder coated anyway huh yeah yeah wheel it in here I have mentioned it briefly in a video before but it's a common question about like what's happening with this car so as of right now the plan is the simplest path of least resistance which is putting back in a very similar engine package to it had except we're going down from the g42 down to a G40 just so the car has a little bit better response it doesn't need to make crazy power but we'll also have it back together for the Invitational so Josh Marco the team's been figuring out the best kit pieces that we have so that everything fits and blends well together because we have a few different pieces from different iterations of the kits and cars and then we're ordering Graphics I'm going to try to get the car looking how it did last season but the bigger picture goal is I really want to make the car look how it is in 2020 I would just rather put the time and resources that would have gone into wrapping this car and getting the graphics dialed into the Supra because I want to do a cool Livery on the Supra I kind of have like a vision of what I want that car to look like and if this car is just running and looking great at the Invitational I'll be Stokes so no need to over complicate it and go overboard I have been telling you in almost every single video about the NSX giveaway where every 5 dollars you spend on lzmfg you get to enter for a chance to win NSX and twenty thousand dollars cash it's getting a supercharger a bunch of fancy bits and it should hopefully be done in a few weeks but what's better than one giveaway two giveaways on the drift HQ Channel they're currently building a Nismo 370Z that's going to be set up for drifting where every five dollars you spend on drift HQ is going to get you in it for a chance to win that Johnny and some cash if you want to find out more you can go to the drift HQ Channel or website right in this year with a bang if you put like a fake explosion after I said yeah just not literally okay we had a few Banks well yeah but like unintentional but it was the guy in the clutch kickers and the truck that went in my side yeah but I'm just in like a metaphorical bang okay thank you big BMX guy now it's been so long since I've worked on a wheel someone ran over my wheel no one's admitted it I want to go ride my bike watch how bent this thing is it's hilarious thankfully Colette let me steal her wheel I want to go ride the other day and I'm like well cool I got three broken spokes yeah it didn't roll good are you having her in the hurricane or something I don't know I don't know no one would own up to it so here I am releasing a wheel for the first time probably like 13 years you know these tires actually have carbon Kevlar beads in a mic dude this is like the the weight roomy Tire they call it foldable because you can just fold the tire like this like usually a bike tire has a steel bead yeah and I wouldn't let you do that that's for me this is called a tube I knew that part It's called The Rim we're about to give it a rim job Mike's like this is the most fascinating thing that we've done in months I've seen so many cars get built but a PMX room this is all new believe it or not Michael there's different length spokes and Only my luck I probably have the wrong length ones if you put them in too long they'll keep like perpetually puncturing your tire and they'll be flat all the time like James's bike because we'll just poke right through the strip gotcha so believe it or not I was using zip ties as far as a Drifter you take the zip ties and you put them like this and they become your feeler gauges they have like what's called The truing Stand which is the proper way to do this see as a kid I would do something like that but it was a playing cards and then I'd sound like a Harley but this just tells you where it's been yeah unfortunately Michael this will not be a quick transformation finished product it's not perfect but for a wheelie got run over it's rideable when I put a tire on it too you know this is a lot less I feel like skate parks and puppies is becoming a new theme yeah having fun we're going back to the uh the house with the skate park for the first time a while cruising with the pups in the jzx AC seems to need a recharge AC has just been battling us but the nice thing is it's actually pretty solid out in Florida it's not super gross it's gonna roll the windows down and it does the trick find daylight though now the Winter's almost here it's getting dark pretty early but chill sesh with some of the boys and maybe go get some food with the boys and the boy and girls I'm not as bad as ours but it has itself it is the most vile smells so it's the freezer we uh you didn't get any riding Clips in because it started raining we got a stinky fridge because we haven't been in this house in months oh my God Colette Davis racing in the freezer what's in the freezer yeah go look at it the fridge had flies in it let's see if Pete wants to eat it freezer come look a little bit of death is there a professional cleaning company because it was the freezer not the fridge and Davis never opened the freezer oh my God open her up the freezer is worse in our house you know what I'm saying it was for sure that's for sure from when we lost power hey dude we'll just we'll just put this oh my God that dude here we'll just put this right there it's gonna we've got a fun start to today's video I'm actually in the 997.2 GT3 RS actually the first one I've ever driven it's pretty cool it's pretty raw pretty analog today is the day that I raffled off at the Smokies GT3 event where I'm doing a full compound tour and the drift instructional day Alan the original guy who bid on it which resulted in an insane donation for Cystic Fibrosis wasn't able to make it and two other friends of mine from the Smokies event took his spot so we'll be joined by Jay who's driving a safari 911 two cars back and Mark who's driving my Turbo S who's DRS I mean right now they both got track experience but not a ton of drift experience so it's gonna be a fun day and maybe you guys can learn a thing or two from uh what I'm going to be teaching them this is hi Jay I was just talking about how I love the juxta's position of the three cars got the safari car I got Mark and his GT3 RS then we got the Turbo S very similar but very different you guys start to drift today we're ready sick like Christmas morning just look at the cone start if I turn the wheel a little bit so the important thing is as soon as you start to feel the rear of the car kick out you'll notice I kind of loosened my grip up and let the wheels slide through if you keep your hands locked on it yeah what's going to happen is the car will just spin out spin out because you need the front end to kind of naturally follow the rear Okay so look at my eyesight here foreign remember I did the barber track one time with an instructor and I got so nauseous in riding with him I had to like lay down for like 45 minutes from my car with air but as soon as I did it I was course fine but I was like nauseous for like 45 minutes just drive around in circles no push or nothing yep that's good enough for it foreign there you go so you feel the feeling of the flooring now so do make those small circles floor it and then when you floor it and you feel it back and kick out that's when you start to kind of let up on the steering wheel yeah you felt that all right you see what I mean once you feel it and you're in it it's like riding a bike yeah you literally like went from like struggling to get out of the cone like I could see it then you're like steering in like perfect circles oh good but once you're it's just a little bit tough to like get situated yeah once you're in it um can you see the temperature in the car uh there's a little warm just drive around yeah like I said once you're in it you just yep yeah that was fantastic thank you yeah I'm gonna get my fancy gloves on gloves help a lot it's not feeling such that was great you started great the one thing I want you to kind of focus on while you're doing it you're a little jabby with the throttle and I don't know if you can feel it but it kind of causes the car to like be jabby as a car so if you can try to smooth those out and same thing with your steering movements instead of being so jabby with it try to be a little bit more like fluid in slow motion still the same movements like you're adding gas in the air way you need it but if you're smoother it'll keep the car from like feeling jolty and it'll just be a nice smooth consistent Arc mmm all right I was getting fancy there oh that was a fantastic I probably could use a cooldown I'm guessing that's fantastic I mean transitions a lot of people struggle with and you did exactly what you needed to do with the wheels so I could tell that you've had a little experience with it before not much and now you guys are pretty much at the same spot I mean I know you did a transition but that was great now Mark's a good driver sorry no it was good your your line was perfect and you you did exactly what you need to do you need to stay in that drift a little bit longer but your eyesight you just got to kind of move it a little bit but I mean for your first attempt at it yeah your your timing was perfect foreign there you go yep that was it so I mean you did the transition yeah you just you kind of let go instead of going around the circle down so repeat that do that again that was that was fantastic you were set up to transition back around that cone if you wanted to use the big sand throttle yeah that was beautiful everything kind of making sense now yeah cool it's yeah because I I just you know I kind of know where the code is you lose it sometime but you kind of know where it is it's funny you guys are like Polar Opposites you're very smooth and composed yeah and he's just like half now listen to the engine yep yeah you really it's cool because you can use it as a learning tool for going slow or you can really push it do some things now now we've now we've gotten that out of the way okay now we do it again I think on that one it's just a little now we just gotta wait a little bit longer for the rear to catch itself before you blast off okay foreign the wheel's starting to spin and it's still spinning you just grab it a little bit too early foreign you're good just just trying to keep driving keep driving all right we didn't get stuck all right no you're good so that was the opposite extreme what happens if you steer out and you're not on the gas yeah foreign great job man thank you out you did what's called a Scandinavian flick back there unfortunately you unintentionally did a Scandinavian flick without that it did you straightened out and you kind of rocked the car to one side yeah initiated it yeah without the handbrake just with momentum yeah that's sick that was awesome how you doing how you liking it you big Drifter now it's awesome that's awesome it's like Christmas morning yeah a big surprise didn't know what I was expecting it's fun oh yeah yeah this is when you go home you start browsing Facebook Marketplace for 350z that's right and that's how it all begins just come over to your shop and pick one out I mean hey we got to be ourselves yeah not this guy but all right you don't want this thing she's she's tired it's amazing that she's still kicking if I'm being honest yeah it's a good ass girl this maniac's going back out there in the Safari I want to drive them oh and there's the cone it doesn't even check the car just puts the cone back and hops right back in foreign it looks so cool I love this dude the brown interior says off-road on the floor man look at that first and then I like watched you know thank you foreign this is what I wanted to do with the 901 Turbo S this would have been so cool yeah I up Jay what'd you think was awesome no it was Adam was incredible he had a super good time and then amazing cause for cystic fibrosis and thanks to Sean and mayor that kind of runs Smokey as they did a awesome job kind of organizing this and bringing Adam together and then Mark always amazing mark well yeah no Adam you know we uh met at the kind of the follow-up in and kind of put this together and had a great time today and I live right here in Orlando and Jay lives up in Jacksonville so it's easy to use and it's a great time something I'd never done before Jay is almost a throw now and I think the best part of the day was probably you uh drifting days of 9 11. oh that was fun right oh yeah hell yeah cool well I'll see you guys in like two weeks you'll have your own people PCS nice we'll show up and we'll be here yep Smokey's again everyone's just going to get 350Z foreignwell I up uh I did the thing where I was really excited about a car I had it in the shop because I've been showing my friends and looking it over and it wound want so I'm actually gonna be listing this car for sale so it's in the shop he was showing a few people it and I was having Mike take some photos because I'm listening for sale if you are interested in this car I'll have some information in the description with a link to more photos and also the contact to reach out to full disclosure I'm going to be asking 55 grand for this car which I think is insanely cheap with the price of r33s but that's with me keeping the white gauges because I want them for my xr33 if you want those extra four grand 59 Grand I still think it's super super cheap for a other stuff I'm going to try to use the dry ice blaster on while we have ice when you wire real stuff it'll leave some of this residue left over and I think we found on the super before that it helped you'll notice I kind of loosened my grip up and let the wheels slide through if you keep your hands locked on it yeah what's going to happen is the car will just spin out spin out because you need the front end to kind of naturally follow the rear Okay so look at my eyesight here foreign remember I did the barber track one time with an instructor and I got so nauseous in riding with him I had to like lay down for like 45 minutes from my car with air but as soon as I did it I was course fine but I was like nauseous for like 45 minutes just drive around in circles no push or nothing yep that's good enough for it foreign there you go so you feel the feeling of the flooring now so do make those small circles floor it and then when you floor it and you feel it back and kick out that's when you start to kind of let up on the steering wheel yeah you felt that all right you see what I mean once you feel it and you're in it it's like riding a bike yeah you literally like went from like struggling to get out of the cone like I could see it then you're like steering in like perfect circles oh good but once you're it's just a little bit tough to like get situated yeah once you're in it um can you see the temperature in the car uh there's a little warm just drive around yeah like I said once you're in it you just yep yeah that was fantastic thank you yeah I'm gonna get my fancy gloves on gloves help a lot it's not feeling such that was great you started great the one thing I want you to kind of focus on while you're doing it you're a little jabby with the throttle and I don't know if you can feel it but it kind of causes the car to like be jabby as a car so if you can try to smooth those out and same thing with your steering movements instead of being so jabby with it try to be a little bit more like fluid in slow motion still the same movements like you're adding gas in the air way you need it but if you're smoother it'll keep the car from like feeling jolty and it'll just be a nice smooth consistent Arc mmm all right I was getting fancy there oh that was a fantastic I probably could use a cooldown I'm guessing that's fantastic I mean transitions a lot of people struggle with and you did exactly what you needed to do with the wheels so I could tell that you've had a little experience with it before not much and now you guys are pretty much at the same spot I mean I know you did a transition but that was great now Mark's a good driver sorry no it was good your your line was perfect and you you did exactly what you need to do you need to stay in that drift a little bit longer but your eyesight you just got to kind of move it a little bit but I mean for your first attempt at it yeah your your timing was perfect foreign there you go yep that was it so I mean you did the transition yeah you just you kind of let go instead of going around the circle down so repeat that do that again that was that was fantastic you were set up to transition back around that cone if you wanted to use the big sand throttle yeah that was beautiful everything kind of making sense now yeah cool it's yeah because I I just you know I kind of know where the code is you lose it sometime but you kind of know where it is it's funny you guys are like Polar Opposites you're very smooth and composed yeah and he's just like half now listen to the engine yep yeah you really it's cool because you can use it as a learning tool for going slow or you can really push it do some things now now we've now we've gotten that out of the way okay now we do it again I think on that one it's just a little now we just gotta wait a little bit longer for the rear to catch itself before you blast off okay foreign the wheel's starting to spin and it's still spinning you just grab it a little bit too early foreign you're good just just trying to keep driving keep driving all right we didn't get stuck all right no you're good so that was the opposite extreme what happens if you steer out and you're not on the gas yeah foreign great job man thank you out you did what's called a Scandinavian flick back there unfortunately you unintentionally did a Scandinavian flick without that it did you straightened out and you kind of rocked the car to one side yeah initiated it yeah without the handbrake just with momentum yeah that's sick that was awesome how you doing how you liking it you big Drifter now it's awesome that's awesome it's like Christmas morning yeah a big surprise didn't know what I was expecting it's fun oh yeah yeah this is when you go home you start browsing Facebook Marketplace for 350z that's right and that's how it all begins just come over to your shop and pick one out I mean hey we got to be ourselves yeah not this guy but all right you don't want this thing she's she's tired it's amazing that she's still kicking if I'm being honest yeah it's a good ass girl this maniac's going back out there in the Safari I want to drive them oh and there's the cone it doesn't even check the car just puts the cone back and hops right back in foreign it looks so cool I love this dude the brown interior says off-road on the floor man look at that first and then I like watched you know thank you foreign this is what I wanted to do with the 901 Turbo S this would have been so cool yeah I up Jay what'd you think was awesome no it was Adam was incredible he had a super good time and then amazing cause for cystic fibrosis and thanks to Sean and mayor that kind of runs Smokey as they did a awesome job kind of organizing this and bringing Adam together and then Mark always amazing mark well yeah no Adam you know we uh met at the kind of the follow-up in and kind of put this together and had a great time today and I live right here in Orlando and Jay lives up in Jacksonville so it's easy to use and it's a great time something I'd never done before Jay is almost a throw now and I think the best part of the day was probably you uh drifting days of 9 11. oh that was fun right oh yeah hell yeah cool well I'll see you guys in like two weeks you'll have your own people PCS nice we'll show up and we'll be here yep Smokey's again everyone's just going to get 350Z foreign\n"
