Unboxing and First Look: Apple iPhone 5S Gold Edition

Hey what's up YouTube, it's Saf here on Super Saf TV, and we've got the iPhone 5S gold Edition for an unboxing and first look on the channel. Now, if you have been trying to get hold of one of these, you'll know that they've been pretty much gold dust, very limited. I actually ordered this one on the day of release online, didn't queue up because, ain't nobody got time for that, but here it is.

So, let's get straight to it. Here is the box, similar iPhone branding, the Apple branding that you're used to seeing, very clean and simple. This is the 16 GB version, so you've got the plastic casing around it, we'll just get through all of that right now. So, there we go, then that's the back off, hopefully this should just come off nicely here, shake it about a little bit, there we go, and here is the iPhone 5S gold Edition.

What we'll do is we'll just take it out and put it to the side for a second as we usually do to see what else you get in the box. The boring stuff, should we say? You've got the AC adapter, now this is the UK version if you're somewhere else, you may see something different, the standard Apple earphones that you get with the remote on the lead as well, and you've got the USB 2 Lightning Port connector. We'll put those to the side and in terms of the paper work that you get again, something that you don't see, you've got the nano SIM ejector on here, this is the quick SL guide, some information, and some stickers, these Apple stickers do people use them? I don't know, maybe I might just put this on my S4, what do you think? No, I'm kidding, I'm kidding where am I now, but we'll put these to the side. Not sure I do see lots of people putting these stickers on the most randomst and weirdest things, so that's that anyway.

So here is the iPhone 5S, now let's get rid of the plastic. You want to get a close-up of this, there we go, undressing the iPhone 5s and we'll get rid of the back as well. Now looking at this in hand it looks a little bit more champagne to me than gold, but nevertheless nice to see a different color rather than the blacks, the Grays, and the whites that we usually see. It's got that same aluminium unibody design and that premium feel and finish very very nice here. Now we'll have a quick look around the device, it is very very similar looking to the iPhone 5 almost identical actually there's a few different Hardware changes, the first one and most noticeable one being here, the home button which now has Touch ID, the fingerprint sensor really looking forward to testing that out and checking that out. The other noticeable hardware difference got some fingerprints on here is the LED flash you've got a dual LED flash here as well compared to the single LED flash other than that in terms of the hardware everything else is in the same places you've got the volume rocker, the mute switch here front-facing camera here and at the bottom is your headphone jack your speaker grill as well as the lightning connector, on the top is the power button. At the back you've got the 8 megapixel camera now although this is an 8 megapixel camera, you've got larger, you've got a larger sensor size as well as larger pixels so that should be interesting to see.
