the top spec version the two cars being 463 brake horsepower and 53 brake horsepower respectively this GTS has 479 ft of torque as well in the UK the two cars are 97,000 000 and £110,000 respectively so it's right up there Porsche 911 Turbo territory going to take a look around this car show you some of the highlights and details in in depth proper look at the interior as it's the first time I've really been up close with it so let's head around there is also an addition one variant available comes at a cost of 123,000 over it with lots of additional options and Extras included already in the price obviously as with any of these cars expect to put a good amount in the optional stuff on top when you get to specification of the car here in the US there's a different rear bumper so you have to have those pieces around the rear number plate but that's not on the European spec car so we'll take a look around see what we can see obviously the AMG GT comes at the end of the production of the SLS the SLS had the G Wings which the AMG GT does not continue with in favor of the more traditional doors but that's with the new price point as well this car has the black contrast roof which looks really quite nice lots of carbon options around as you can see on the door mirrors and the side vents there as well like the little vents on the front Bonnet traditional sort of Mercedes very elongated front as well though so on the inside just take a quick look door opens obviously nice interior more carbon fiber trim take a look around in here got an Alcantara steering wheel on this car further in we've got the uh the fback logo printed on the center console but let me jump in take a look it's got the dials in front of us got that sort of yellow glow around the outside the center color screen of course all the usual Mercedes Creature Comforts Hi-Fi system what else do we have elasticated door pocket down here seat controls will down the side as you'd expect hard brake rear storage boot we'll have a look at that coming around the lovely style of those air vents in the center with this nice large display above carbon fiber center console the airon stuff control command inputs on here gear stick there what we have here the setting for the different Drive modes for the car that you rotate through the different settings volume high-fi control it's a very very wide center console all this it's quite hard to explain but the seating position is pretty comfortable and uh cool I'd need to move it a little bit for me what else do we have down here then let's check in here we've got double USB sockets and that's where you physically can put a key in assume it's keyless normally but you got that option there seats good side bolstering support nice two-tone as well with the red and black and this trim chrome trim in there as well glove box not the biggest glove box in the world in there got lots of storage pockets and cup holders as well this is all fits quite neatly and the engine start if we had the uh we had the key in the car yeah there we go insert key down start that would be fun but not for now this thing does sound amazing though there's hop out put out the AMG logo on the door cards there so else do we have if we take a look in the boot which you do by opening that button around back you lift up the rear hatch and you've got quite a decent storage area I already put my bag in here you can fit some bags and stuff and you've got this to pull out to resure the uh rear view if you needed to you also have this very nice carbon St Race Across the rear there which I think is a seriously cool bit cuz this car is about performance and Precision driving and ultimately that's going to keep it positioned together together better let's shut that up for now just going to see if I can open the Bonnet quickly which is a latch down here around front thisen is the 4 L twin turbo 503 brake horsepower unit cool very cool you so the power for fun right up there if we swing back around to the rear I can tell you some nice sounds are going to come out of those exhaust tips mounted on this carbon fiber rear diffuser as well actually one other feature while I'm thinking about it just point up at the roof there's a panoramic roof up the top there which is pretty cool I would love to get an opportunity to have some fun with one of these give it a go see what I think of it out in the real world but truly awesome car so pleased to finally be able to take a decent look around it and show you the inside here at nias the Detroit Auto Show
