Our Stay at the Citizen M Bowery Hotel

We had the pleasure of staying at the luxurious Citizen M Bowery hotel in the lower east part of Manhattan. The moment we walked in, we were struck by its modern design and sleek ambiance. Our room was swanky and well-appointed, with a modern feel that immediately put us at ease. One of the standout features of our room was the smart home technology that came pre-installed on our tablet. We could control everything from the lights to the temperature, blinds, and even the TV with ease.

The tablet app allowed us to customize our experience, adjusting settings like the lighting, blind levels, and TV volume at the touch of a button. It was truly impressive and set a new standard for hotel tech we'd experienced before. The app also included features like RGB lights that created a unique ambiance in the ceiling above the shower, as well as color-changing presets to suit our mood. We were able to indulge in some much-needed relaxation with the help of these innovative amenities.

We had a second dinner at this lovely establishment, hoping it would be better than our previous night's experience. Our server came out to take our order, and we both agreed that this was definitely going to surpass what we'd eaten the night before. The service was attentive but not too intrusive, allowing us to enjoy our meal in peace.

Next Up: A Surprise Adventure

We had planned our next activity to be a surprise, and I was excited to see if my previous attempts at guessing would pay off. To our delight, our destination for the day turned out to be none other than Central Park. However, we quickly realized that this wasn't actually Central Park – it was instead a replica of the famous landmark in the form of a giant wrecking bar.

I had a sense of foreboding when I revealed the surprise to my wife, but she seemed surprisingly on board with the idea of smashing stuff into a million pieces. I have to admit that I was initially concerned about how she would react, given her stress levels from the previous day's events. But as we arrived at the site and began to wreak havoc, it quickly became clear that this was just what we needed – an opportunity to release some tension and indulge in a little bit of playful chaos.

A Visit to B&H

Unfortunately, our plans for a new phone purchase were foiled when we discovered that Best Buy was closed. We had been hoping to take advantage of the Pixel 3's availability, but it seemed that fate had other plans. Just as we were about to give up, I spotted a New York Best Buy location just a short walk away from our current spot.

I quickly phoned ahead to confirm their hours and availability, and then we set off on foot. It turned out that they did have Pixel 3s in stock – not one, but two! We were thrilled to discover this silver lining and made our way to the store, ready to pick up our new phones.

contacting the lyft driver he didn't answer and tried calling her phone it's off so it seems like someone found her phone and powered it down because their battery was fully charged this morning so you guys posted on the smartphone whereabouts not the best way to start the day I feel really bad for wife you're right now so next I'm gonna try to take your mind off of Lizzy your phone just now because I know it's causing a lot of stress and what better way to cope with your anxiety then to eat it at Chelsea Market where there's plenty of fanfare and foods and things like that that you'll hopefully enjoy one of the places on my fees list was a vegan sushi place called beyond sushi and being a good husband I am I have led us right here what does it look super hopeful right now she actually wanted to surprise herself so she refrained from looking up any of the pictures of the sushi online beforehand so I think she was expecting something a bit more traditional would you say I don't think you're expecting it to be black or like a purple or look like little sushi turns but hey you know what we came all the way here for for this place so you might as well - we'll try it now right and since it's your birthday I'll let you have the first bite go honey go be brave blink once if you need an ambulance okay I'm glad we only got one roll then thank you oh we got two or why did we get two rolls I think we were just expecting this to look like sushi and not like someone forgot to flush up she sees something she likes she's running for it what is it noodles I knew my wife was a smart woman you take the first bite oh that's a noodle now that is a noodle that's like the Alpha noodle I saw that man make that noodle he put his blood sweat and tears into it literally oh yeah get the chili so it looks like there's a line of people forming just outside of the Chelsea Market we were kind of wondering what they were all standing in line for apparently the Jonas Brothers are in town they're doing a meet-and-greet just like all those thirsty females I can smell the hormones from here we met at bad his name is Paul he just might replace the other Paul how are we how are we always buying baby toys now how does this become a trend to many babies what's wrong with this giraffe why is it Swire its legs so short it's like a corgi giraffe and why does this giraffe have a butt in his chest $100 57 we're gonna make you by just touching it okay so now it's been roughly two hours since we lost your phone and no real updates it does have a lock on it thank God we have contacted lifts they said that they contacted the driver didn't find any phone however on our Android find my device have we noticed that her phone was turned off manually just a few blocks from where our drop-off point was and at that point we can't track it anymore because the GPS is off there's no data and stuff like that we think what happened is our driver went to his next passenger that passenger got in the car saw wifey's phone and turned it off manually because it was fully charged this morning so we're back at the hotel and someone just made a special delivery to a special someone I don't know anything I definitely didn't have a pardon helping set this up it was a ransom note it's a cute ransom oh it's Katrina and Randy wow I had no idea oh there's a gift to ya cuz who just wants a card right that's boring what do we got champagne yeah I love gifts that I can benefit from - thanks fancy yay so next question can we drink it we should chill at first will it fit that that's what she said no it's too big that's also what she said but you know he's bring home with us I can pop it on the actual 30th that's what she said here in the hotel room we're actually in a pretty swanky getting at here is that you can control virtually everything in the room with the tablet they've included so it definitely looks like a custom-built software which sucks because I'm kind of in love with it and wish I could do this in our home you can see here that we've got things like lights you can turn the lights off or down sorry sorry I'm just doing a demo really quick control temperature I think wifey sauce was a little cold earlier so we'll turn that up a little bit it also blinds the blackout blinds you can see it's sort of rolling up right they're not gonna close those right now because it's wifeís also get mad at me and you can even control the TV change channels control volume it's pretty cool stream device so if you have Apple AirPlay which neither of us do or miracast on a supported device you can actually stream media from your device to the TV which is also pretty sweet so a little color wheel is actually a panel of RGB lights in the ceiling just above the shower and it definitely adds a cool ambiance to the room there's a couple different presets here that will change the lighting as well as the blinds in order to suit whatever mood you're at so there you go those are all the main features built into the app and I'm sure while you guys are already very familiar with hotels that do something like this but this is my first experience with it and it's that's probably a computer to some degree just like your phone was so you're sorted projecting onto other devices all right you have CPU and a key chain donated mostly because they don't work so I'm pretty sure this doesn't move which makes me feel a lot better especially today would you think of your first wrecking club experience and route to our next destination huh what makes you think that is it really oh it's closed that's on our way here I realize B&H was right next door to the wrecking club so I was gonna surprise you by getting you a new phone here cuz they have pixel threes and
