LG Optimus G Pro E985 _ E988 Unboxing and Hands on Review India - iGyaan

**LG Optimus G Pro: A Comprehensive Review**

The LG Optimus G Pro is a powerful and feature-rich smartphone that is sure to impress even the most seasoned tech enthusiasts. In this review, we will delve into the details of this device and explore its various features, including its design, display, camera, performance, and more.

**Design and Build Quality**

One of the first things you'll notice about the Optimus G Pro is its sleek and durable design. The phone's body is made of high-quality plastic, which not only provides a premium feel but also helps to reduce the overall weight of the device. The phone is also surprisingly thin and lightweight, making it easy to carry around. The back of the phone features a prominent camera lens, which gives it a distinctive look that sets it apart from other devices in its class.

**Display**

The Optimus G Pro boasts an impressive 5.5-inch display, which not only provides excellent viewing angles but also offers a high level of clarity and brightness. The screen is surrounded by a thin bezel, making it easy to navigate and interact with the phone's various features. The device also features a unique "pull-down" notification panel that allows users to quickly access their notifications without having to leave what they're doing.

**Quick Slide Apps**

The Optimus G Pro also features a "quick slide" app menu, which provides easy access to frequently used apps and features. This feature is particularly useful for those who like to keep certain apps always at hand, such as the calculator or video player. The quick settings panel allows users to quickly adjust their phone's settings, including brightness, volume, and more.

**Customization Options**

One of the standout features of the Optimus G Pro is its customization options. Users can rearrange their notification panel to suit their preferences, add and remove apps from the menu, and even customize the look and feel of their phone's interface. This level of control is unmatched by many other devices in its class.

**Back Button Placement**

One feature that may take some getting used to is the placement of the back button on the Optimus G Pro. Unlike most devices, which have the back button located at the bottom of the screen, LG has opted for a more traditional Android design, placing the back button on the left side of the device and the menu button on the right.

**Keyboard Features**

The Optimus G Pro also features an improved keyboard that is designed to provide a more intuitive typing experience. The phone's predictive text feature is particularly useful, as it allows users to quickly type out messages without having to worry about misspellings or typos. Additionally, the device offers a range of keyboard themes and customization options, including a unique "Path" keyboard that uses gesture-based input to provide faster and more accurate typing.

**Camera Capabilities**

The Optimus G Pro features a high-quality 13 megapixel camera on its rear side, which is capable of producing excellent images in a variety of lighting conditions. The phone's camera app is intuitive and user-friendly, with a range of settings and options available to suit different shooting styles. Additionally, the device offers advanced features like image stabilization, HDR, and more.

**Performance**

The Optimus G Pro is powered by a fast and efficient quad-core processor, which provides excellent performance and responsiveness. The phone's 2GB of RAM ensures that it can handle multiple apps at once without slowing down, making it an ideal choice for those who enjoy gaming or multitasking.

**Video Recording**

The device also features advanced video recording capabilities, including the ability to shoot full HD video in a range of formats. Users can also add live effects and filters to their videos, making them look even more polished and professional.

**Smart Remote Application**

One of the most innovative features of the Optimus G Pro is its Smart Remote application, which allows users to control their TVs, set-top boxes, audio devices, DVD players, and Blu-ray players from their phone. This feature is particularly useful for those who enjoy streaming media content on their device.

**Comparison with Other Devices**

The Optimus G Pro also features a comparison chart with other popular devices, including the Samsung Galaxy S4. While the S4 may be slightly larger and thinner than the Optimus G Pro, it still manages to pack a powerful punch in terms of performance and feature set. However, the LG device has one key advantage: its larger 5.5-inch display.

**Conclusion**

The LG Optimus G Pro is an impressive smartphone that offers a range of innovative features and capabilities. From its sleek design and high-quality display to its advanced camera features and smart remote application, this phone is sure to appeal to tech enthusiasts and casual users alike. While it may not be the largest or most powerful device on the market, the Optimus G Pro is certainly one of the best, offering a unique blend of style, substance, and value that sets it apart from its competitors.
