What's Up Guys: Unboxing the New iPod Touch
Hey guys, it's Lou from unbox therapy, and I'm excited to show you my hands-on experience with the new iPod touch. As you can see, this is still the 4G model, rocking an A4 processor, but now it's available in white, and it comes preloaded with iOS 5. This means that when you get your device home, there won't be any need to update it.
The New iPod Touch: A Closer Look
Let me take a closer look at this baby right here. As you can see, the price has dropped quite significantly, down to $1.99 for an 8-gigabyte model. It's definitely worth considering if you're in the market for a new iPod touch. Now, let's talk about the packaging. We've got your standard Apple stickers on the box, which I'm sure many of you have come to expect from any Apple product. But don't worry, we won't be throwing them out the window anytime soon.
Inside the Box
Once we remove the packaging, we'll find our brand new iPod touch, complete with a 4G connectivity option and an A4 processor. It's definitely a sleek device, and I can see why Apple has made it a popular choice among its customer base. Now, let's take a look at some of the other features that make this iPod touch stand out from the crowd.
Camera and Volume Buttons
As you can see, we've got a camera on the back of the device, which should come in handy for taking photos or recording videos. We also have volume buttons, as well as a 30-pin connector and a headphone jack. It's definitely a solid feature set for an iPod touch.
Boot Up and Setting Up
Now that we've taken a closer look at our device, let's boot it up and see what kind of experience we can expect. As you can see, the connect to iTunes logo is still present, but when we press the power button, it boots up quickly and efficiently. It's almost like setting up a laptop! We'll need to select our region, and whether or not we want to opt into location services. I've chosen to say no for now, but who knows what the future holds?
General Settings
Now that we're set up, let's take a look at some of the other settings on the device. As you can see, we have version 5.0 loaded, which means that we'll get access to all the latest features and functionality that iOS 5 has to offer.
Conclusion
And that's it for today's unboxing video! I hope you guys enjoyed seeing my hands-on experience with the new iPod touch.
