**A Willy Wonka-Style Haul from Hobby Lobby and Michael's**
As I stepped into the colorful world of scrapbooking, I couldn't help but feel like a kid in a candy store. My first stop was Hobby Lobby, where I had been searching for a specific sticker that caught my eye. However, after browsing through their shelves, I found that it wasn't available. Undeterred, I decided to take myself over to Michael's to see what treasures they had in store for me.
At Michael's, I hit up their entire $150 section, which is located near the checkout counters. To my delight, I discovered a treasure trove of adorable note cards, each valued at $3.99. The first card set that caught my eye was the nautical-themed one, featuring white envelopes with red accents and gold anchor glittery with navy polka dots. I was immediately drawn to its charm and couldn't resist purchasing it.
I also picked up a matching pen set, which complemented the note cards perfectly. Next, I explored their wood icon collection, which featured various designs, including anchors, whales, and fish. While some of these icons might not match my current decor, I couldn't resist adding them to my haul. The steering wheel and whale designs were particularly eye-catching, and I couldn't wait to incorporate them into my future projects.
Moving on from the nautical collection, I turned my attention to Michael's Vintage line. This section was filled with beautiful butterfly designs, each paired with matching envelopes that added an extra touch of elegance. One particular butterfly design caught my eye – a monarch butterfly with a golden orange envelope set that perfectly matched its vibrant colors. Another favorite of mine was the hydrangea design, which featured lilac-colored envelopes that complemented the flower's delicate beauty.
I also fell in love with a pink rose design featuring musical notes in the background, paired with baby pink envelopes that added a touch of whimsy to the overall look. To complete my haul, I picked up matching journals for each of these designs, which will surely come in handy for future projects.
As I continued exploring Michael's Vintage line, I came across another beautiful butterfly design – this one was paired with bright mint green envelopes that matched its vibrant colors perfectly. Lastly, I found a pink rose journal that matched the previous design, ensuring that my entire collection would be cohesive and beautifully coordinated.
**The Final Result**
With my haul in hand, I couldn't wait to dive into some creative projects and make overments in my home. As I transition from spring to summer, I knew that these new additions would add a pop of color and whimsy to my space. Whether it's decorating my walls with the fish and rose designs or incorporating the nautical-themed note cards into my journaling practice, I was excited to see how these treasures would bring joy and inspiration to my life.
As always, I'm grateful for the opportunity to share my finds with you all. If you're a fellow scrapbooker or stationery enthusiast, I'd love to hear about your latest hauls and creations! Let's get crafting and make some magic happen!
"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhi everyone so today I'm going to be filming a Hobby Lobby and Michael's haul I am getting ready for just you know my planning videos I needed stuff for that and getting ready to do some like updates around my house so I've been calling a couple of things to get those things done but before I get started on showing you what I got I just want to say that I'm going to be putting up videos you know today Friday Saturday and Sunday hopefully and you're going to see a trend and that trend is I'm not going to be wearing makeup I mean I pretty much look like this in all of my videos half the time so you're like we know I just have plans to be extra comfy um not really do any makeup I've been wearing makeup most of the every day at work so I just kind of want to like give my face a break and be in my workout clothes otherwise known as my daytime pajamas because I'm not working out so with that said let's go ahead and take a look at everything that I got let's go ahead and start with Hobby Lobby because I'm really excited about Hobby Lobby I got is humongous it's like this shelf I guess yes because you could hang this up on the wall it is so heavy and it's beautiful I mean I never really thought of it as a shelf for the wall but I did get this as a Decor piece so I'm excited to get this together um and and I'm going to be doing a video on that it's probably going to be out in a couple of days but what's exciting about this was the price and it was like $18.7 and the tag said that it was originally $54.99 and I believe that because this is a very large shelf and some things like this at Hobby Lobby goes you know for a high dollar amount but 1870 yes I have a very traditional warm earthy tone kind of colors going on in my house else so I feel like that's just perfect the next thing that I got also on sale I like to go down the aisle that says like 66% off and this was part of I guess the HomeGoods collection and it's just very rustic like Hollow there it's like this like wire basket I guess you could put a candle in here you could probably put like decorative balls in here and it was 748 and it was originally $21.99 so I'm excited about this too you'll see that also in the same video with the other thing one of my favorite things to get at Hobby Lobby aside from their scrapbooking stuff is their glasswar I'm obsessed with it it's always priced amazing I always go when they have a 50% off but this glass wear was in a 66% off aisle so look how gorgeous and if you've seen some of my videos then you know I have the floor day lease pattern actually customized into to the walls of my home um it's like a custom warp with like stamps kind of but you can actually feel it I don't know what you how you would describe it but so this is just perfect and I love the color of this bottle it's like a light brown and then I got another one just different size and this one was $3.40 and this one was $238 so also going to be Decor pieces that are going to go with the other two things you just saw the next item I couldn't believe I found it I also wasn't looking for it it was part of the 66% aisle 66% off aisle and I just was like I have to get this it is a lamp it's gorgeous and it has a nautical vibe to it but what I love about this because hello um how this fits into my Decor is it's not the traditional Reds and navies that you would see alongside like a nautical see I'm more I see these colors like these teals and Light blues and dark Blues I think more mermaid I don't know why so when I saw this lamp I decided to scoop it up it was $11.90 how could I not how could I not I don't know exactly where this is going to go in my room just yet but I have been talking about I am going to be doing a video on updating my bedroom so I can't wait to share that with you guys it's probably going to be sometime in July though so what I actually went to Hobby Lobby for was scrapbooking and I needed to look for certain stickers um I will say that the reason why I'm adding a Michaels haul to this video is because Michaels has better scrapbooking papers than Hobby Lobby but Hobby Lobby is better on the prices so today at Hobby Lobby in the Scrapbook aisle all paper Studio or scrapbooking was 50% off so I'll quickly go ahead and show you some of my pieces that I picked out this is like a shiny material it's kind of hard to tell but it's a shiny pink and then I got one of the green then I got three sheets of this acid free it's very transparent I love it this one's like a gold polka dots kind of hard to see it this one is Stars and this one just is like a wallpaper pattern I really don't know what to call this design Silvers D mask and here's this one it's like really cotton candy there's a lot of Pinks purples and blues I guess this pattern is called damask because this one is called sweet damask I don't even know if I'm saying that right damasque damask I don't even know here is a green gingham I'm sorry if the colors are off it's cuz I'm you guys are facing my windows and then here's this pattern also Dam mask I guess I really like it here is a pink version of that here's a tie dye here is this pattern it's has like dark purples in it and fuchsia so that one's really pretty there's this pink one and this is a repeat I've had I've used this one before and I use this to do my Dollar Tree planner cover in the back so it's double-sided because paper Studio was 50% off the first thing I do is beine to the Washi because that most of their double Washi like this is $3.99 and at 50% off that means $2 which means each Washi is a dollar which is comparable to the Dollar Tree except Hobby Lobby Washi is way better than Dollar Tree Washi so I saw this one donuts with sprinkles I just I died over Washi and this Washi I also died I mean I love plaid when I saw this I instantly thought of my Christmas decor which I can't wait to put all that back up okay so I surprisingly enough did not do enough damage in The Sticker Collection at all like I literally got only a couple and paper Studio was 50% off so I don't know what I was thinking I love here is this one it's very popup for starters and it's gorgeous Donuts I mean how cute would this spread be together and this was on sale at $1.75 and macaroons those are cute too this is a repeat I used this sticker set on um my poison ivy spread and my happy planner and loved it and what's funny is I didn't actually get this originally for poison ivy I got it for a different spread so I wanted to go ahead and pick up some more so that um I can use this for that other spread then I got two plain Stars this one's silver stars and this one's gold stars and this one is really cute it's like a gumball machine and this one right here the little U package of Gummy Bears I just can't I just can't this is just very Willy Wonka to me okay so that is what I got at Hobby Lobby now let's take a look at what I got at Michael's so again I got more scrapbooking pieces of paper there they have better choices but their prices are not better and their scrapbooking also was not on sale so I paid 9 for each piece but I really needed to get some so here is I'm guessing this is damask so it's like a black and gray version I got polka dots it's it's a gray here is like a pastel polka dots here's mason jars like just gorgeous this is just very V vintage I love it so beautiful and I got some camouflage and this one I love it's like a gorgeous baby pink stripes it's just when I look at it I definitely think Shabby Chic and vintage here's a light blue D mask and this looks like stones which is very beautiful they also had this scrapbook booklet you know how they sell those in like a book um it was $1 199.99 but they were having a 40% off sale um but I didn't get it but it was stunning like it had teacups in it and butterflies I probably need to go back and get it originally I went to Hobby Lobby to look for a specific sticker and didn't find it so then I took myself over to Michaels and I kind of found something that I was looking for and it's this they look like poppies to me they look like poppies and I thought they were incredibly beautiful so I went ahead and picked them up they are like foamy popup and these were full price at like $3.99 that's a lot for some stickers so those were the regular priced items and then of course I was at Michael so I had to hit up there $150 bz so at the Michaels store they have like this whole aisle at mine they're towards the checkout and it's just a bunch of stuff wor that are valued at $150 wish it was valued at a dollar but the stuff is really cute that some of them really are worth $150 but some are probably just worth a dollar but whatever one of the first things that I go to are their note cards they're some of my favorite ever and they did not disappoint so let me show you all the ones I got show you the nautical first and these this is a card set I mean Hello $150 and it's the note cards and envelopes and the card is white and the envelopes are red this one just speaks for itself I think it's adorable and the envelope is like a light blue I don't know if you can really see that the gold anchor glittery with navy polka dots I just can't and the envelope is white which I think is perfect I also picked up the matching pen sets they're so cute they're so adorable this one is my favorite and then I also picked up some wood icons they had a ton to choose from they had other stuff part of the nautical collection but I limited myself to just these couple of items but I got the anchor set and this is what I'm talking about see how this doesn't like really match my Decor but it's still really cute and it really like could go with Fourth of July stuff so this this one is the steering wheel why do I call it a steering wheel I don't know what it's called and then this one is the whale so that is what I got for the nautical line now let's look at the Vintage line because so in a nutshell it's hard to see but let's just go one at a time here's the butterfly it's like a monarch butterfly with a golden orange envelope set that found matches the butterfly and then here is this one with I think these are hydrangeas it's just beautiful and the envelope is lilac that matches the hydrangea the fish is my favorite I absolutely love him he's bright and colorful and he's like a vibrant blue and they paired him with a bright yellow Sunny yellow envelope love it here is another version of the Butterflies super gorgeous and the envelopes kind of match this butterfly down here it's like a bright mint green the last one also favorite next to the fish is this one it's a pink rose with musical notes in the background and the envelope is a baby pink because those were my two favorite items the fish and the rose I also got the matching journals so here's the matching journal for the fish then I got the rose Journal okay guys that's my haul I hope that you loved everything I'm super excited to do some updates and makeovers in my house I do have like some spring stuff still going on so I need to go ahead and get those things put away and transition more into a summer feel thank you so much for watching my videos and I'll see you guyshi everyone so today I'm going to be filming a Hobby Lobby and Michael's haul I am getting ready for just you know my planning videos I needed stuff for that and getting ready to do some like updates around my house so I've been calling a couple of things to get those things done
