Digital Trends Day 3 Preview - CES 2018

Welcome to Day Three of Digital Trends' Extensive Coverage of CES 2018

Hello and welcome back to Day Three of our extensive coverage of CES 2018, live from Las Vegas. I'm Maude Garrett, and we're going to have another huge fantastic day full of Tech Talk to help me with that. Greg Nibbler, he's the video host and podcaster of Digital Trends, will be helping me with that. Hey Greg, how are you doing good? We've had three huge days well, this will be the third day a lot happening and I love that you not only get time at the table here to conduct some interviews but also hit the showroom floor.

What have you got in store for today, oh my gosh, so today I mean that's what we were talking about yesterday, you know hitting the show floor seeing all these you know the nooks and crannies of CES like there's so much here and actually checking out some of these smaller booths. So today, I think there's gonna be a video that's gonna air at some point of me getting 3D scanned in 12 seconds. We were talking about this, this kind of technology they're using it to turn you into a cartoon, and that sounds so lovely and easy but the fact that they can scan your full body in 12 seconds yeah, possibilities that they can do with that data yeah, it's all exactly right. Yeah, so somewhere out there there could be another meet we don't know, I was joking about it, hi Greg, hi Greg, there could be multiple ones running around this railway, I mean he combined it with the 3D printer, it's entirely possible, yeah that's what's so great about CES.

I've also got Kim Wetzel who's gonna be joining us at the table for the first time, she's the home editor for Digital Trends. We're talking to Whirlpool and Honeywell about smart home technology which is so big in this current technological era at the moment, so I'm excited about that one it is. And this afternoon Alienware is gonna be stopping by to talk about their XPS 13 and 15, they're gaming laptops, and I think that I could dive back into gaming big-time on laptops especially if Alien Wear can sell it to me, so fingers crossed for that one. Don't go anywhere, and up for today, if you're watching on YouTube, if you just click the description, you can see the full day schedule there, so you can expect know what to expect throughout the whole thing and plan your day accordingly as well.

Coming up next time, we're going to have DT daily basically this is a rundown with Caleb Dennison, Greg, and myself about what we expect from today's CES night for that one, it'll be coming up right next not now just next.
