A Comparative Analysis of App Loading Speeds: Samsung Galaxy S9+ vs iPhone 10
In this video test, we put the Samsung Galaxy S9+ and iPhone 10 through their paces to see which device loads apps faster. The results were intriguing, with some games loading quicker on one device compared to the other.
Firstly, we started with Angry Birds 2. On both devices, the game loaded relatively quickly, coming in within a few seconds of opening. However, the iPhone 10 was slightly faster, completing the load almost instantly, while the S9+ took a fraction of a second longer. We repeated this process with several other popular games, including Mary Run, Psych 2, and Temple Run 2. In each case, the iPhone 10 loaded the app first, although the gap between the two devices was relatively small.
However, when it came to more graphics-intensive games like Real Steel Robot Wars, the S9+ took the lead. This game did not open on both devices at the same time, with the S9+ beating the iPhone 10 by a few seconds. We also tested the loading speeds of several other apps, including Subway Surfers and Dead Trigger 2. In these cases, the S9+ again loaded faster than the iPhone 10.
One notable exception was Instagram, which loaded on both devices simultaneously but required a complete reload on the iPhone 10. This suggested that the iPhone's processing power may be slightly less efficient in certain areas compared to the S9+. On the other hand, when we played with multiple apps open at once, the S9+ struggled to keep up with the iPhone 10.
After running several tests, it became clear that the iPhone 10 had an advantage in terms of speed when loading individual apps. However, when it came to handling multiple apps simultaneously, the S9+ performed better. This may be due to the increased RAM capacity on the S9+, which allowed for smoother performance under heavy multitasking conditions.
Overall, our testing revealed some interesting patterns between these two devices. While the iPhone 10 loaded individual games slightly faster than the S9+, the latter proved more efficient when handling multiple apps at once. These results have implications for users who need to switch between multiple apps quickly and efficiently, such as developers or gamers.
In conclusion, this video test provided a unique insight into the relative speeds of two popular smartphones. While the iPhone 10 excelled in certain areas, the Samsung Galaxy S9+ showed its strength in handling heavy multitasking scenarios. As always, the best device for individual users will depend on their specific needs and preferences.
To summarize our findings, we tested several popular games and apps on both devices to see which one loaded faster. We also compared their performance under different conditions, including running multiple apps simultaneously. Our results suggest that while the iPhone 10 may have an edge in some areas, the S9+ is more efficient when handling heavy multitasking scenarios.
We hope that this video has provided valuable insights into the relative speeds of these two devices. doing a range of tests looking at benchmark scores then opening up some social apps followed by some games and finishing off with RAM management now before we start a side note I am using the Exynos version of the samsung galaxy s 9 plus not the snapdragon 845 and that is because the Exynos version is the only one available in europe now for those of you interested in benchmark scores on a geek bench for the act on 10 does go higher both for the single on multi-core we'll see how this translates to real-world performance so kicking things off you can see that we've got no other apps open in the background and we're gonna start off with twitter which does load up first on the s9 plus we're going to notifications although we've got slightly different content on both of these so we'll go ahead and try our Instagram and that was pretty much neck and neck I would say going into my profile fast on the iPhone 10 opening up an image faster on the s9 + now moving on to the Facebook pages manager that was quicker on the s9 + we'll scroll a little bit down and we'll leave this open in the background let's move on to YouTube now I did finish first on the vs 9 + although we've got some different content so we won't take that test into consideration let's go ahead and play the top trending video which is the home part and that was slightly quicker on the s9 + we're gonna leave this open and let's move on to games so first we've got Angry Birds 2 and can notice this timer because we're doing things super safe style and this will tell us exactly how long each of these take to open up these games and Angry Birds 2 did finish fast on the s9 + comes in a few seconds later on the iPhone 10 I will leave this open let's move on to our next game which is Mary run that was fast on the iPhone 10 coming in a couple of seconds later on the s9 + will play the game and that was also faster on the iPhone 10 will leave this open once again and let's move on to the next game psych 2 quicker on the iPhone and about secondly its are less than a second later on at the s9 + and loading of the game also very very close but quick on the iPhone 10 moving on to Temple Run 2 quicker on the iPhone 10 coming in a few seconds later on the s9 + now we'll play the game and we'll leave it open subway surfers very quick on the iPhone 10 few seconds later on the ds9 plus here we will play the game let's move on to dead trigger 2 intro screen very very quick on the iPhone 10 and we've got the s9 the plus now let's play the game once again very very quick on the iPhone 10 comes in a few seconds later on the s9 + now moving on date I have on 10 again few seconds later on the s9 + so so far most the games have loaded up quicker on the iPhone 10 now let's move on to our last game here and that is Real Steel Robot Wars now I know these are love games but these will help us test around management a little bit later on and this time the s9 + does fish first the iPhone coming in a few seconds later that's quite interesting let's play the game click on the iPhone 10 ok 5 few seconds later on if the s9 + right so let's go ahead and now test our round management acetate is open in the same place on both we've got a couple of seconds to load there on the s9 + let's move on to that driggity also in the same place so pre surface yep same place we can resume the game tempura 2 same place again and we can resume the game here as well sonic - - aha this does have to reopen on the iPhone 10 but it's in the same place and we can resume it right away on the s9 + let's carry on Mario run once again it is open in the same place on the s9 + but it does have to completely reload on the iPhone 10 moving on and rebirths - same situation it's in the same place on the s9 + but it does have to completely reload on the iPhone 10 I do think this comes down to the fact that we've got more RAM on the s9 + 60 device versus three game parts on the iPhone 10 and that is really showing here in this test YouTube same place we can continue the video where we left it but on the iPhone 210 it does have to completely load oh look they're suggesting video is the epic collab that I did with all of my friends here on YouTube I'll link that in the class if you wanna check it out pages manager same place on the s9 + has to completely reload on the iPhone 10 so similar pattern here and Instagram once again on the image that we left it on on the s9 + but on the iPhone 10 it does have to completely reload final one is Twitter right there we left it on the s9 + and although on the iPhone 10 we also our notifications it did have to reload the app so there we have it guys the video speed test between the Samsung Galaxy S 9 plus and at the iPhone 10 some interesting results when it came to some of the regular apps they were overall quicker on the s9 A+ but for the games although the s9 + did have a couple of wins the iPhone 10 overall did load up most the games quicker however when it comes to RAM management then the s9 + was definitely better leaving everything open that we threw at it whereas the iPhone could only hold five games in its memory and had to reload everything else so what did you guys think of the results here definitely drop me a comment below and let me know generally speaking both of these are some of the fastest devices out there and I don't think you'll have a problem we either of them I hope you enjoyed this video and found it useful if you did then please do hit that thumbs up one for me Yuri does help me out and if you have already then be sure to
