Jackson's Huracan Experience: A Thrilling Ride in a McLaren 720s

We recently had the opportunity to take a McLaren 720s for a spin, courtesy of Jackson and his gracious friend Jeff. As we drove out of the garage, it was clear that this car was special – its sleek design and menacing presence commanded attention on the road. "This thing is so dirty," Jackson joked, "the cleaning crew did an amazing job getting her looking like new again." With a brief inspection, it was time to take the 720s out for a spin, and we were eager to experience its incredible performance.

As we set off, our driver expertly navigated the winding roads, showcasing the car's exceptional handling and agility. "We're gonna keep it at track mode for most of this drive," he explained, as we settled into a smooth pace. With the gear selector engaged, the dashboard transformed to reveal a sleek, high-tech interface that put all the vital information right in front of us – including tire pressures, fuel efficiency, and speed. We also got to try out the car's performance mode switch, which simplified the display and gave us a clearer view of our surroundings.

One of my favorite features of this car is its suspension system, which is nothing short of remarkable. As we accelerated down the road, the sound of the turbocharged engine filled the air – it was almost deafening, but in the best possible way. "This thing is so quick," I exclaimed as we devoured the distance, and indeed, the 720s proved to be a formidable performer on the road.

Throughout our drive, our driver also demonstrated the car's advanced features, including its ability to adjust the wing for improved aerodynamics. We played with this feature, adjusting it up and down as needed – it was amazing to see how much of an impact this made on the car's overall performance. Additionally, we got a glimpse into the car's infotainment system, which featured a clean, modern interface that was easy to navigate.

As we took our final lap around the track, I couldn't help but feel impressed by this incredible machine. The 720s is truly one of the most impressive cars on the market today – its exceptional performance, handling, and features make it an absolute must-drive for any car enthusiast. Jackson's experience in this car was undoubtedly enhanced by his own driving skills, which were evident as we pushed the limits of what this incredible machine could do.

After our thrilling ride, I couldn't help but wonder: would it be worth taking the supercharger off and installing turbos instead? While that's a fascinating idea, I think it's safe to say that the 720s is already one of the fastest cars on the road – no need for further modifications! Nevertheless, this car is truly an exciting prospect, and I have no doubt that it will become a favorite among driving enthusiasts.

Finally, as we pulled back into the garage after our drive, Jackson's friend Jeff emerged to thank us for coming by. "This thing is so amazing," he said with a grin – indeed, the 720s had left an indelible mark on all of us who were lucky enough to experience it. As for future plans, we're excited to get our hands on some prototype tires from the team at Wingstop – they're working hard to develop new products that will take this car's performance to the next level. Until then, I'm just grateful for the opportunity to have driven such an incredible machine as the McLaren 720s.

homes are even built into the hillsides this car is like feeling great on these roads we've been taking it pretty easy so far we've been just kind of cruising out getting away from obviously in town but it's getting windier and windier I guess this words about to get fun how's the Huracan straight up if you hit that fast it would hit that's why so that 1 2 3 yeah and I rolled I rolled back because going through some of that dirt if at low speeds this kicks up at low speeds or high speeds you don't have to worry but being careful with Jeff's car of course yeah yeah that's beautiful oh dear we're gonna hit this you guys alright here we go you ready lead the way yeah keep an eye out keep an eye out for dips I'm watching I was like my button the whole time waiting Dave's in the tire road is one these switchbacks fully tell you a little bit of water in the road little crackle snap crackle pop these cars handle so incredibly well well that's about as far as we can go because it turns into dirt dirt road what's that is it oh that's no is it making you a little nervous ah driving like you're nervous oh yeah nervousness just hitting the ground a few times the worst part is is that so low so we come into a corner at all seats to the elevation change how is this fun you might want the key I need the key for the Huracan acute beeping at me really key not in car so Cole Porter's when you tap the brake of that rear spoiler pop active arrow yeah hey first time driving a 720 what do you think about this model this thing it no obviously it's super fast engine your hydraulic yeah yeah this is the car that came from the 650s whereas the 570 is their sport line car so the sport line series gets a coil over the 650s and the 720 which is their Super Series car gets this custom hydraulic setup that only McLaren does it's insane I didn't know that it's a really crazy it's probably my favorite suspension out of anymore has so much tech solar so we were ripping yeah I don't the windows up Nikita's on I looked at like I can't figure out turn the heat down oh you don't know how to use the but there's a few steps the touchscreen yeah it's impressive cars like will go crazy it looks - yeah and guys the doors you get out yeah because this is really the p1 door yeah this isn't the 650s door because it didn't go into the roof like that so this car a lot in a lot of ways people refer to it as the baby if you want - the hybrid technology that was in the Kuchiki it's like all turbo cars doesn't sound quick times I can match the aspirated v10 well I mean you can't hear anything around my her success hey Jackson how loud is it you keep saying oh you said about three times today this car sounds insane it means the key see now that you can hear it it sounds cool you can only like accentuate it and make it a little louder straight pipe yeah what a riot that was a good run man out into the desert car looks better way back got a quick hand wash at the car wash here those guys killed it it was funny they pulled it in and all the carwash guys stopped recognized the car right ahead it's kind of nice got a little bit of a priority there I did said I don't do it perfect because we're gonna mess this car off yep it won't be long 24 hours it'll be dirty again but man as it looks a lot better like it was so dirty and the - they cleaned all inside here they did a great job okay Jackson's got the Huracan you we're gonna take this for one last spin before we drop it back off because Jeff was so gracious enough to let us take it out we went for a nice little Drive but we were always like single-file we're out in the middle of nowhere I was trying to get some footage I want to let you drive it too and now that we all had a chance to kind of get used to the car yeah let's take it for a nice little rip down the road and show you guys some of the funnest features of a McLaren 720s one of them first of all is right here these buttons this is all like your performance and your handling so see is for comfort then you're gonna go to sport and it changes everything as you do this so your heads up like basically all your gauges in front of you you're gonna have essentially like tire pressures and tire you know temps you're gonna have all your trip and you know fuel mileage I guess and whatever obviously you got a big tach in front of you as soon as you start changing this into track now you're gonna go into your like race mode and it simplifies everything you know what gear you're in what RPMs you're at and your speed you can push a button right over here if you want the full display and it's gonna be very similar no longer the round tach but now you have a more f1 focused style kind of left-to-right tack what gear you're in really big and your speed and again of course your tire temps over there on the right all of that to be possible you have to keep it active so it doesn't matter what you got going on in here you have to create active you got your arrow so you can actually control the wing in the back if it pops up or not and we're gonna leave it all up make it look cool looks awesome okay and one of my favorite features in this car is honestly the suspension all right so let's try to get some of the turbo sounds out of this phone ah it's a very very quick car you hear that all hell yeah the back you can really hear the turbo spool no this is a completely stock 720 as far as the the engine and the exhaust components it's a little bit of an aero trick down on it Selman we're made see why everybody loves this car I love this very simple gates cluster I want one they're just really expensive right now and let's just face it we're gonna put a lot of miles on it yeah it's gonna take a little hit on the depreciation so we're gonna wait for the right time before we pick one up Wow I don't think there's anything for this much money that'll be this car as far as as fast as this car is and honestly the handling and everything it's hard to beat this okay let's do another poll because that's really what this is all about ready three two one blast off okay we won't talk about what the speed was there but it was definitely within whatever speed limit is in this area was crazy in these cars that are sub 10-second cars from the factory from the fact that like I remember 10 years ago to build a 10-second car was
