**The Build**
With any build, I always get asked James how will this build perform? How will this build smash the latest AAA titles at 1080 and 1440p high and ultra settings with anti-aliasing and textures turned on? It will also smash some of the older games such as World of Warcraft, League of Legends, Minecraft, and CS:GO at 4K while achieving over 10,000 FPS in some cases. So, let's kick it off with the CPU.
**CPU**
The CPU I went for was the Intel Core i5-5650U, a quad-core CPU making it compatible with all of the latest AAA titles. It comes out of the box clocked at a very healthy 3.2 GHz, not to mention its on Intel's brand new Skylake architecture, allowing for DDR4 support and better overclocking support. Although the CPU isn't overclockable, it features Express M.2 connectivity, which is one of the new advances in computer hardware.
**Motherboard**
The motherboard I went for was the MSI B150 and Bazooka, a great value option that combines price performance. It features Intel's brand new ALA 1151 socket required for the new Skylake chips and should hopefully support all of the new releases, including the i7-7670K and the 8700K when they come out. Intel tends to keep the same socket for about three or four generations long, so I'm hopeful that it will continue to support future CPUs.
**RAM**
For RAM, I went with the Kingston HyperX Fury BL, a 1.8 GB DIMM that provides ample RAM and is more expensive than two 4 GB DIMMs in this case, but only offers a small performance increase of about 2-3%. The black version looks great, and it's also available in white, blue, and red.
**Storage**
An SSD and a hard drive is always the best way to go. I installed the Sega Barracuda 1 TB hard drive, which provides plenty of room for all your movies, music, games, and other files that you're not afraid to lose if your hard drive were to die. If you lost it, you can just redownload it and sync your progress with Steam games. The Samsung 850 Evo SSD comes in a 2.5-inch form factor and supports the case's motherboard connection. It's also fast, with great read and write times.
**Video Card**
The video card I went for was the Zotac GeForce GTX 970, which has a 4 GB frame buffer. Although it's been out for some time, it's still one of NVIDIA's latest releases and is more than sufficient for 1080p and 1440p resolutions with textures turned up. The 4 GB frame buffer provides great performance, and Zotac has done some great things with their cards.
**Case**
The case I went for was the NZXT S340 in a black and red color scheme that ties in perfectly with the rest of the build. Having a nice accent color is great, and you can also get it in different colors such as black and green Razor Edition, black and blue, black and white, pure white, and pure black if you wish.
**Power Supply**
The power supply I went for was the EVGA 500W, which is an 80+ Bronze certified unit. It's efficient and has everything you need, making it a great option for this build.

Express m.2 all the new latest advances in computer hardware the motherboard I went for was the MSI B150 and bazooka this motherboard combines the best between price performance and gives a really great value option it features Intel's brand new alga 1151 socket required for the new Skylake chips and uh and should hopefully support all of the new releases so right up to the i76700k and then hopefully the 77 00k and the 8800k I believe as well when they come out Intel tends to keep the same socket for for about three or four or maybe even five generations long for Ram the Kingston hypix Fury BL really was the best option 1 18 GB dim is fine no need for two 4 GB dims in this case it just it just populates more RAM dim slots and is more expensive for very very little performance increase and when I say very little I'm talking 2 3% really is there really is no point the black stuff from Inon looks great you can also get it in white blue and red so yeah great option storage an SSD and a hard drive is always the best way to go the hard drive is the Sega Barracuda one tbte drive and it gives you plenty of room for all your movies music games all the stuff that you're not afraid uh that if your hard drive was to die you are you are to lose for example Steam games if you lost it you can just redownload it and sync your progress up uh nevertheless it's nice and reliable and 7200 RPM is as fast as hard drives get in a 1 TB capacity for your boot Drive you're going to install Windows on this the Samsung 850 Evo SSD it comes in a 2 and 1 half in form fat T which is supported by the case once again and it's actually really showed off by the case and supports great read and WR times uh so yeah it's 250 gig which is more than enough for your copy of Windows which is about 20 and then all of your your your most frequent games uh applications uh most valuable documents and stuff like that the video card was zotex GeForce GTX 970 it's got 4 gig frame buffer the GTX X 970 is one of in one of nvidia's sorry newest releases although it has been out for some time we we're looking around about 6 to 8 months before their next uh GPU release that would that would take over this in in its current position so you are you are all right for the time being you're not buying an outdated card and 4 GB is great uh for 1080P and 1440p resolutions with your textures turned up like I said a nice big frame buffer is great and Zotac have been doing some great things with their cards the case I went for was NZXT is s340 in a black and red color scheme to tie in
