A Day of Doubt and iPhone 14 Fun

In times of doubt, I have found solace in cocktails with my friend. We were lucky to find a purple drink that matched the iPhone 14 Pro Max, which was a nice surprise. The drink was bright, so we decided to head down to the lobby to see if we could get another one because, why not? Our iPhone 14 was live on the YouTube channel today, and I teased my followers about showing them my favorite photo spot. I didn't get a drink, but since it was still raining, I decided to finish my portal for the day.

I finished my task soon after, looking at the rain's forecast to adjust our plans. I promised my followers that I would take them to this photo spot, and I wasn't going to let a little rain stop me. The jungly trail between Pier 3-4 or 5 in Dumbo was where I wanted to share this experience with everyone. This canopy of trees provided some shelter from the rain, which was perfect for taking photos. I could see several professional photographers waiting for the sun to set, all trying to capture that perfect shot.

The spot we were at was called the Brooklyn Bridge Park polls view, and I had promised my followers to take them there. The sun would set at 7:11 pm today, but the clouds were getting thicker by the minute. We decided to order a Negroni Spatiato, a sparkly Negroni, to test out its low-light capabilities on our new iPhone 14. Apple was promising that their photonic engine, a new way of processing images, would make the camera perform better in low light conditions.

We headed over to a dark cubicle in the lounge to see how well it worked. I usually wait until I get home to test my phone's cameras, but this one was too good to pass up. As you can see from the photo, even with the poor visibility due to rain and clouds, the iPhone 14 is brighter than our value. If that doesn't work out, I'll post a photo from my friend Martin Romero so that everyone can see what I was trying to capture.

After taking a few photos, we decided it was time for a final battery check on our iPhone 14 Pro Max. At 8:24 pm, with only 3 hours and 21 minutes of screen time, the phone was still going strong at 31 percent. Yesterday, we had brunch, dinner, and attended the US Open, taking many photos and videos along the way. Today was a more average day, with Instagram taking about 10 photos, the Photos app taking 10, and the Camera app taking 32. We were all soaked, cold, and tired but had a great time nonetheless.

I'm so glad that Apple released another blue iPhone this year blue is only available on the 14 and not on the 14 pro this year instead of a richer ocean blue it more resembles the sky although maybe not on a day like this where it's actually gray the iPhone 13 and 14 are the same size the only difference on the outside really is that the iPhone 14 has a larger camera bump when you take a look at both phones it's not very evident but it's worth pointing out because in case you're upgrading from the 13 to the 14 and you want to use some of last year's cases do note that they will no longer fit because of the size of this camera above if you look at the fine print as well as our b-roll you'll also notice that the iPhone 14 is slightly thicker chai knows that I love blue so she asked me which color I like most and based on this clip from our unboxing video you'll see that over the last three years iPhone has released three different shades of blue on the iPhone from the 12 13 and the 14. I personally love that royal blue color on the iPhone 12. I actually love this as well and this this is cool it's not my favorite but I do like how it matches the blue iMac in my kitchen actually on second thought I really like it because it matches my Fon Mo a little longer than a few minutes later all right it's 3 49 p.m I know it's a little bit late to start our day late again but hey mental health is important and on a busy week like this it's important that we get some rest put our surroundings back to normal which is what I did for most of the day but I did use the phone and I guess now is the perfect time for our first battery check at 3 49 it's about six hours after I unplug this phone from its charger at 10 AM it is currently at 84 and today I've only had about 49 minutes of screen on time so the day we're filming this is September 11th or 9 11 and because today is a special day there's this photo that I've been trying to recreate I know the perfect spot and it's one of my favorite photo spots in the city so I'll show you where it is but you'll have to watch till the end of this video and it looks like our lift just pulled up so come on let's head over to the pier I saw this sign called apple bank across the road and I guess because we're shooting an iPhone and it's an Apple Bank I thought it was kind of cute Times Like These though I wish the iPhone 14 had a zoom lens some of you might think that I still edit my videos I years the iPhone 14 has a 6.1 inch display this year however apple is no longer making the iPhone 14 mini that 5.4 inch iPhone which many people included really loved instead this year apple is bringing back the plus model at 6.7 inches it's the same size as the iPhone 14 pro Max and for some users that's a good thing my dad for example didn't need the iPhone 13 Pro Max but he wanted a bigger phone so he had no choice but to spend the most amount of money for an iPhone last year so this year if you don't want to spend a lot of money on an iPhone but want a bigger model then you can go for the iPhone 14 plus which should be right here today but it isn't shipping till October 7th so we have yet to receive our review device now this might sound like a new model but I say bringing back because if you recall back in the day there was the iPhone 6 and 6 plus 7 and 7 plus and eight and eight plus with the rain still pouring we had nothing else to do but you know me in times of doubt have a cocktail and we got lucky because we found a purple one which matches the iPhone 14 pro Max which also goes live on the YouTube channel today foreign that was a nice drink but it was
