The artist's thoughts on money and materialism

Money is just that - it's not even tangible, you know? It's like, supposed to make us happy or something, but sometimes I feel like we're just pretending to be all excited about it. Like, I'll say "oh yeah, this guy has $10k" and then I'm like "wait, is he really that good?" Because let's be real, ten thousand dollars isn't even that much if you think about it. It's like, rupees are basically just dollars, right? And sometimes I'll be like "can I sell this for 5k?" And my friends will be all "no way, bro" because they know I'm not that good. But hey, a flex is a flex, right? Like, who has the cash to buy all this stuff? It's not even about loving sneakers or being educated, it's just about showing off.

I was talking to my friends and we were all like "what's the point of the flex?" And one of them said "it's just for fun" and I'm like "yeah, but why?" Because when you're wearing a mask, nobody knows if it's even you. It's like, what's the purpose? But then again, maybe that's the whole point - to be anonymous. Maybe we should just ditch the flexing and be ourselves.

We ended up going to Palm Springs because it was supposed to be this relaxing getaway from everyone and everything. And for a while, it actually felt good to get away from all the drama and stress of life. We even got to stay in this sick little crib with a pool, and we had our own little golf course too. It was like having our own little bubble, even though we weren't playing basketball or anything.

But then, I started teasing everyone about something... we were making a few scenes for the YouTube video "Sneakerheads Be Like" part nine. And let me tell you, it's been a while coming because of all the delays and stuff. But hey, someone's gotta put in the work, right? The thing is, if you're gonna make something good, you need a supporting cast - your boys, your friends, everyone has to come together to make it happen.

Some people are just more into making TikToks than anything else, and that's cool too. But sometimes I feel like some of these guys are just pretending to be all about the YouTube content when really they're just here for the 'Grams. Like, stop acting like you're not, bro!

Anyway, after a while in Palm Springs, we're finally ready to head out. The artist was exhausted from relaxing and hasn't been able to make much content for their fans, so they apologized for that. But they wanted to show off something special - their first merch drop in over a year! It's a collaboration with the homies at Soul Steel, and it's a super cool Supreme t-shirt with the Dream Crew logo on it.

The artist got excited about sharing this drop because it was going to be available on the Soul Steel website for only $25, which is way cheaper than the retail price of a regular Supreme shirt. But then they realized that they forgot their laptop at home, so they were unable to work on any content... and now they're just ready to get back to reality.

The artist can't help but think about work even when they have things like pools and good weather. Maybe that's just part of who they are - always thinking about the next project or task. But hey, at least we got a chance to relax in Palm Springs before getting back to the grind.
