iPhone Controlled Coffee & Latte Machine! _ Terra Kaffe TK-02 Review

The TKO2 Coffee Machine Review: A Game-Changer for Coffee Lovers

I recently had the opportunity to review the TKO2 coffee machine, and I must say, it's been a game-changer for me. The display on the last iteration was fine, but with this new model, I've noticed significant improvements in terms of customization options and overall user experience.

One of the standout features of the TKO2 is its touchscreen interface and iPhone app. The touchscreen is now more intuitive, making it easier to navigate through the various settings and options. The iPhone app is beautifully designed and provides access to key information such as machine status, brewing options, and scheduling capabilities. I particularly appreciate the ability to schedule brews out and wake up to freshly made coffee in the morning – it's a feature that many of us can only dream about. With the TKO2, you can even see your stats down here, showing how much money has been saved and how many times you've brewed a drink.

One of the areas where I think the TKO2 shines is in its customization options. You can adjust grind size very easily and store tons of coffee in the massive Bean Hopper at the top. This feature allows for flexibility when it comes to brewing, as you can choose between using pre-ground coffee beans or freshly ground beans from your own stash. I also appreciate the ability to change settings like strength, amount of coffee, or water to brew, which makes each cup tailored to my preferences.

One minor quibble I have with the TKO2 is the volume of coffee that's produced in a single serving. With the drip setting, I find myself wanting an extra shot or two to get the desired level of caffeine kick. However, this can be easily adjusted by using the machine multiple times and getting used to the volume.

Another feature that sets the TKO2 apart is its steam wand. If you want to create milk-based coffee drinks like lattes or cappuccinos, this machine has got you covered. Simply add your preferred amount of milk to the container, attach the hose to the nozzle, and let the machine do the rest. The result is a perfectly frothed and steamed milk that's almost as good as what you'd find at a local coffee shop.

One aspect that I'm particularly happy about with the TKO2 is its cleaning features. Gone are the days of scrubbing away at moldy coffee grounds or dealing with clogged water tanks. The machine has been redesigned to make cleaning easier and more efficient, thanks in part to the clever placement of the water tank on the front and the removable container for disposing of used coffee grounds.

The TKO2 also comes equipped with a comprehensive app that allows you to track your spending, set up custom brewing profiles, and even schedule brews out remotely. This feature has been a lifesaver for me, as I can now enjoy a freshly brewed cup of coffee at the office without having to leave my desk.

Ultimately, the TKO2 is an excellent addition to any coffee lover's arsenal. While it may not be the cheapest option on the market, its features and performance more than make up for the investment. With its customizable brewing options, seamless iPhone app integration, and impressive steam wand capabilities, this machine has truly raised the bar for home espresso machines.

So, what do I think of the TKO2? In short, it's a game-changer. The improvements over its predecessor are significant, and I'm loving every minute of using it. Whether you're a coffee aficionado or just looking to upgrade your morning routine, I highly recommend checking out the TKO2.

But don't take my word for it – I'd love to hear from you in the comments below! Have you tried any other machines that you think should be on every coffee lover's radar? Do you have a favorite brewing method or coffee drink that I've missed? Let me know, and we can continue the conversation.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enbrewing coffee from your iPhone is one of life's greatest gifts in my opinion and Brewing not just drip coffee but like espressos and lattes and cappuccinos is even better this is the Terra Cafe tko2 and some of you might have seen my brief mention of the first iteration of the machine in a home Tech video that I did a while back and while I did love the coffee or the drinks that came from that machine there were some flaws that made it really hard for me to recommend especially at that higher price tag now the tko2 fixes most if not all of my complaints and now adds iPhone functionality which is amazing I know this is a bit of an unusual video for us to do here and some of you might think it's sponsored but I assure you it's absolutely not sponsored they did provide us with the machine to try out for review uh but if it was sponsored I probably wouldn't be allowed to say how much I loved but also absolutely hated the last iteration of this machine yes it made amazing coffee and lattes as I said before but some of those flaws were like coffee grounds being stuck and crevices that were impossible to clean unless you basically disassembled the entire machine and then those grounds would get like wet and moldy and it's disgusting the system to hook up the milk for those drinks were not great and just the overall design just had some bad flaws especially for the sake of cleaning the machine it was really hard to do that uh with the way it was designed the display on the last iteration was fine and there were some customization settings that you could adjust but like the lack of a normal drip coffee option was kind of rough I had to get by with using an Americano setting but even that wasn't as good as a dedicated drip setting with the custom options that are specific for Brewing just like a regular cup of coffee the tko2 has a much improved touchscreen and UI and the iPhone app to go along with it is simply fantastic and all of the machine's compartments and components and stuff has been redesigned so that it makes cleaning easier and absolutely no more moldy coffee grounds which is just fantas fantastic the container to remove the grounds is right here it's simple it's perfect uh because it just has the grounds there's nothing else that you have to remove to be able to clean it uh the water tank being on the front instead of the back or like the side which was really hard to get to this is such a nice move and then the drip tray is the largest thing that you have to clean and it is kind of a pain because I have a small sink here but if I was at home it would probably be just fine you can adjust grind size very easily and store tons of coffee in this massive Bean Hopper at the top but you can still use pre-ground coffee beans too it goes in the little slot here next to where the whole beans go the app is beautifully designed and this is where you can get key information like machine status you can choose what drink to brew and schedule Brews out so that you can wake up to freshly made coffee in the morning which I think is everyone's dream you can even see your stats down here that shows you how much money has been saved and how many times you've brewed a drink which is you know I'm using it at my office so it's very low but if this was at my house I feel like the savings would be through the roof and there are tons of settings to go in and Tinker around with which is fantastic for example with the drip I did find that the volume of coffee that you would get was kind of low still and the temperature was a bit cold I didn't like that and after I put in cream into the drip coffee it became even less warm and just I don't know you can change things like the strength the amount of coffee or water that's brw and the temperature of the drink on this machine and that's what makes it amazing and I do recommend for those watching who end up getting one if you do drip make it two servings because you kind of get around fiveish ounces of coffee and for me my mugs are huge here and so I kind of do the 10 oz I feel like that's perfect these settings save to your liking and you can make different espresso profiles if you want so if someone in your house is using the machine with you and they have obviously different tastes and needs they can have their own profile and so can you it's truly customizable then simply add beans add water and Brew your drink if it's a drink that requires is milk you put it in the little milk container here and you hook up the hose so that it can steam and froth and it attaches to right where the like the little nozzle where the drink comes out and it somehow all just works together to give you a perfect cup of coffee in your mug and it feels like you got it from a local coffee shop I know the Terra Cafe is a pretty pricey machine but if you're a coffee lover who's sick of spending tons of money at a Starbucks or wherever you get coffee from on the go get one of these and enjoy all of that at home and I'm not saying this is going to completely replace going to the coffee shop I still like to do that but for like 90% of my brews at home or at the office I love using this machine I think it's going to save me money in the long run again not sponsored I just really like the improvements that were made to this machine and I really wanted to review it plus iPhone controlled coffee I mean that just sounds like it should exist a lot more than it actually does in this world there are very few machines that have an iPhone app for coffee where you can schedule out bruise and be able to do it from the comfort of your own bed and even make coffee drinks that are not just regular brooded coffee but lattes cappuccinos flat whites the options are endless but of course I'd love to hear from you in the comments down below what do you think about this machine is there something else out there that I have maybe never seen that you think I
